sometimes I really wanna rewatch tv shows I loved when I was younger, but damn it I don't know where I can watch half of them like The Sparticle Mystery

Propaganda Under Cut:

Erin Noble (Younger Sister of Ryan): Erin loved her brother enough that when he was turned into a vampire she took him and tried to stop him from turning. He infiltrated a family of vampires to try and slay them and stop Ryan from turning. When he was captured by the slayers she faked his death and freed him.

Olivier Mira Armstrong (Older Sister of Alexander): Although Olivier will publicly denounce her brother's action during the Ishval Civil War but privately she is considers it an act of bravery. Later Olivier reveals that she has faith in her brother's strength and is proud to fight alongside him against a common foe.

So I started watching MI High as an adult and I have bad news. Seasons 1 and 2, the Blane and Daisy seasons are bordering on unwatchable. They were my favourite as a kid but oof they are a rough watch now. The acting is baaaaaaadd. The plot lines are boring and the chemistry is non existent.

The Carrie and Oscar seasons though are actual bangers that I unironically recommend. The drama, the depth, all top notch. The characters have better chemistry and are way funnier. They put the bulk of the characters with rocky relationships in the adult cast which works way better. The main crew can still have conflict but it's less, these people have to work together but are actively sabotaging each other and more, these people care about each other but have different goals which makes them feel way more human. Put the adversarial relationships in comic relief, it works way better. Watching Dasiy be a continuous bitch to Rose was exhausting. Also straight up, Carrie and Oscar feel like more grounded characters in the world. They're spies because of talent and legacy respectively. Carrie doesn't just know martial arts, she's a national gymnast, Oscar isn't just the popular girl who likes fashion so there for is good at disguises, he has a history in Mi 9, he's a polygot, he's a code breaker. He's the one who works with people because he has a skill set for it. Daisy just didn't have that. This is also why they gel better with Rose because she is has always felt this the team member with the most actual talent. Instead of it being Rose and the other 2 who technically fit into the skills she lacks but in a very high school way, it's people who are just as adept in their own skill sets as she is. They work as a team because they are all equally talented but in different ways. They just feel more competent. They also get much more development. In season 1 and 2 was just a caricature, in seasons 3-5 they're people with history and wants. Also they gave Rose flaws this season. She's blinded by technology and thinks it can always be used for good if it's in the right hands and needs her more skeptical friends to ground her. That's what drives her conflict in the group and not just she's a nerd so daisy's friends bully her.

I've yet to rematch the 2nd reboot but these are my thoughts so far

some thoughts on vlad between seasons 2 and 3

i have many, many conflicting headcanons about what exactly happened in the gap between s2 and s3 and how the entire family was at that point in time but one concept i think is interesting is the idea that vlad was drinking blood in that time.

obviously its well established that vlad refuses to drink blood and believes its wrong. in s3e1 we see him say this from the offset, however we also see him really struggle with being in a room full of breathers. most of this can be easily brushed off with the writer's trying to display that drinking blood isn't who vlad is, even though its what his nature calls for. this is pretty boring however and therefore i am choosing to project headcanons onto it <3

after wearing the crown of power at the end of s2, vlad collapses leading to the iconic scene of ingrid saying she neither knows nor cares if vlad is alive or not. this is where the blank spot begins. we know that the batteries on the uv cage ran out so the count could escape with renfield and vlad, however we don't know what state vlad was in at this point of time but we can assume it was bad.

working on the basis that the crown of power at least partially transformed him (e.g. gave him his fangs and boosted his powers, i then believe that he never went to the blood mirror on his sixteenth birthday as everyone believed he had already transformed, which then allowed for the events in s3e7/8, but thats another post) i think its an interesting idea that the count - unsure what exactly to do with this extremely ill vampire child - gave vlad blood whilst unconcious in an attempt to heal him. when vlad eventually came around he would deny this as treatment, but i'd like to believe that it is what made him better. to go along with this i think it provides an interesting dynamic that vlad is unaware that he was being fed blood whilst in this weakened state, with the count never having the heart to tell him that he had been drinking copious amounts of blood. its for this reason that we see vlad then struggle so much to be around breathers, as he went cold turkey on blood after he woke up properly. it shares some parallels with how much he struggled after biting erin - although it wasn't entirely the same.

TLDR: vlad had a blood addiction he never even realised he had because it was used to save him when he was ill

I don’t know what this means really but I think it could potentially point towards a more consistent Miraculous airing schedule for the UK and other English speaking countries. Fingers crossed for no more watching the episodes out of order and in a language I don’t understand T-T

Not only did she play one of the longest-serving and most popular companions on Doctor Who, but she was also (the first? one of the first?) classic companions to guest star in New Who, and she starred in her own spin-off The Sarah Jane Adventures. She featured in radio serials, Big Finish audio dramas, and anniversary specials. She continued to be involved in the broader Doctor Who universe for basically the rest of her life after first being cast as Sarah Jane Smith, and thereby contributed greatly to its popularity. Currently working my way through Sarah Jane Adventures and M.I. High. Probably going to start Wolfblood soon.

Hey there. I've been reading your blog for 3 years... it's pretty interesting and fascinating. The reason why i'm writing is because last year i randomly found this on a magazine, an article about some deal on TSS broadcast, including the Nicktoons one (from an issue of Animation Trade, BTW)
