Peter Capaldi – played the twelfth Doctor
Had 3 roles in the eu dw! Attack eyebrows 12th Doctor, Minister in Torchwood's best episode (in my opinion), and got a cameo in David Tennant's run! Truly a marvellous actor with a great range. Was a fan of the show for decades before getting to be in it, met with previous actors from the show while he was just a fan and later got to play a part! Man dreamed about that role! (@leeisshitty )

Anthony Coburn – wrote An Unearthly Child
Wrote An Unearthly Child. Also important in a bad way because his child/estate/whatever it is is why An Unearthly Child isn't available for streaming along with the rest of Classic Who on some platforms. There are rights issues because they won't let BBC use it. (anonymous)
Kate Orman – wrote Doctor Who novels
wrote Unnatural History and gave the Doctor so many different backstories the main show has been accidentally and deliberately doing them since it started (she created both the Hybrid and a backstory somewhere between the Timeless Child and the Other (@familyparadox )
very important to keeping the show's books alive and thriving during the wilderness era and wrote some incredibly good works of literature (anonymous)

Liz Sladen – played iconic companion Sarah-Jane Smith
Not only did she play one of the longest-serving and most popular companions on Doctor Who, but she was also (the first? one of the first?) classic companions to guest star in New Who, and she starred in her own spin-off The Sarah Jane Adventures. She featured in radio serials, Big Finish audio dramas, and anniversary specials. She continued to be involved in the broader Doctor Who universe for basically the rest of her life after first being cast as Sarah Jane Smith, and thereby contributed greatly to its popularity. David Graham & Peter Hawkins – voices of the original Daleks
The original voices of the Daleks!!!! C'mon!!!! I mean would the Daleks have been this iconic if the voices were different? Can you even imagine the Daleks with a different style of voice? (@greenslime69 )
John F Kennedy – assassinated the day before An Unearthly Child
his assassination happened the day prior to doctor who's launch in november 1963. without his death, an unearthly child's first episode would not have had a repeat airing. thanks to his death, perhaps this episode may have had the chance to be recorded, and would have become lost to time like so many others. god bless america. Gary Russell – prolific work behind the scenes of the show and extended universe
Where to even start! Gary has probably one of the biggest and most diverse amount of contributions to the Whoniverse as a writer, actor, director, producer, executive producer, script editor and DWM editor. I guarantee that pretty much anyone and everyone who's into Doctor Who has enjoyed at least one of the many *many* stories he's been involved in and i'd be here all night listing them, so feel free to scroll through his (very long) TARDISwiki page for that (anonymous)
The Audience - you
Without the audience we would never have had Doctor Who. Without you it would no longer be on screen. We are the lifeblood of Doctor Who. Remember if nobody watches Doctor Who will kill himself (anonymous)
