As fucking weird as that scene was, I was expecting so much more from it because Eddie is still clearly living in the delusion that his relationship with Shannon was okay. I was fully ready for him to finally just come out and say how unhappy they both were in their marriage and that they didn’t love each other in the way they both needed. 😭 except Joker's history with sexist behavior, his now over 3 decade long abusive dynamic with Harley, his gross obsession with Batman that has turned into SA before, the events of The Killing Joke & Barbara becoming paralyzed, are all significant and frankly Popular Joker plot points. These aren't things that only people who Really read DC / Gotham related comics know about. Him sexually assaulting Batman maybe since that comic isn't a primary timeline one, but his obsession with Bats is quite literally these people's proof of him being queercoded. So, no.

Joker's actions in these plots are the foundation for his relationships with Batman & Harley, and Barbara no longer being Batgirl and becoming Oracle is directly tied to Joker's horrid actions when he paralyzed her, she's Oracle Right Now.

Sure, especially with Harley, I don't expect people to know every single horrendous thing he's done to her because frankly, there's a Fuck Ton, and I didn't even list it all, I didn't even list half. (Hell, I'm sure there's still moments that I haven't come across yet and that's saying something cause I've consumed just about every single piece of Harley media out there)

But The Killing Joke is a popular DC story, his unhinged obsession with Batman is like the only thing his character is, if you know he's obsessed with Batman, then you know the basics of his character.

And his relationship with Harley has Always been abusive. Like, if all these folks have seen of DC is BTAS, then they still know that. Joker not being abusive towards her is significantly more rare, inconsistent, and Batshit Insane tbf. You woke to Hyunjin room door closing. You didn’t think anything of it so you went back to sleep and cuddled back with Hyunjin.

Hyunjin was already awake when you woke for a second time but the thing is he was just staring at you.

“What are you staring at” you lowly cause you still have disgusting morning breath.

“ Your beautiful face” he said proudly.

“Yeah whatever” you mumble. You were still insecure about yourself so no matter what hyunjin said it wouldn’t matter.

You got up out the bed and went to the living room to get your bag with your stuff. While you walked to The living room Sohee and her minions were staring at you with grins . You didn’t know why so you just grabbed your bags and walked to the bathroom. When you got in and opened your bag you saw the most disgusting things on your clothes. Mustard, relish, rice, ketchup, and you name it. You were so pissed off right now. But the only thing safe was your toothbrush ‘thank the lord’. You turned the sink on and You put toothpaste on your toothbrush and dipped your toothbrush and water. Then you started brushing your teeth and tongue ( ppl forget to do that like wtf) until you felt like your were finished.

You left the bathroom and went straight out the main door to go home.

You were happy that you and Hyunjin were on good terms but not only that y’all were dating officially. But no one knew about it of course.

When You were walking through the school gates you noticed almost all of the girls were staring at you with disgusted eyes. Then when you walked through the school halls you saw people whispering when they saw you. You knew it had something with Sohee, she was the so called “QUEEN” in the school. Her parents where the head of the school so she would never get in trouble.

Lunch is when things start to get bad. When you leaving fourth period to go to lunch someone grabbed you by the hair and threw you on the floor. Then proceeded to drag me by the hair all the way to the girls bathroom. You were so much pain you couldn’t even describe it They caught you at a good time because no one was in the halls when this happened.

You sat there with tears threatening to fall from eyes because you didn’t want to cry for stupid people like them. But it was very hard not too because your scalp felt like it was gonna explode from the pain.

You took yourself to one of the bathroom stalls and checked your phone. You smiled when you saw Hyunjin had texted you. At least you knew he was worried about you.

You took a deep breath, looked in the mirror to make sure you didn’t look hurt in anyway and left the bathroom to go to the lunchroom. When you arrived to the lunchroom EVERYONE WAS STARING AT YOU, even the boys. You just tuned everyone out and walked to sit across from hyunjin. When finally you sat down and looked at Hyunjin looked like he wanted to punch someone.

“ what’s wrong Hyunjin” you asked

He didn’t even bother to respond he just pulled up the video of me getting dragged with hateful comments.

“Oh” you deadpanned.

“It’s fine I’m really o-” you were cut off by Hyunjin.

overall: it's a meh season with strong plotlines

I get the whole controversy with Sean, trust me I do, but I enjoyed the dramatics of the relationship. He was way too hypocritical tho, the scene with the gun, as scary as it was, rubbed me the wrong way. I wouldn't blame Fiona or Carl for that. As someone raised in a house full of guns, I was taught to never ever go near one. Curiosity killed the cat with Will and he was obviously scared, but Sean my boy, no. I felt Sean sort of blended well with the family, understood dysfunction all too well so that's probably why, but at the end of the day, it was a scabbing wound.

The wedding scene, Fuck Frank, ik he helped Fiona dodge a bullet, but at the end of the day, it was never really about Fiona, it was about his damn ego as always. The whole situation was shitty for everyone and I felt for her, really. The bridge scene was dope as hell. Bravo. Cinematic.

With the Debbie v Fiona, I was honestly on Fiona's side most of the time. A decision like this, in their way of living, oof, and Fiona made it clear she wasn't gonna be in charge of another kid. Harsh, but... I wouldn't do it either. But the reality is, Debbie has always been around kids, and very clearly wanted to be a mother, as early as s1. It's just... timing wasn't right. But to tackle a teen to the ground??? Wtf. A grown ass woman. Girl. No.

Oh Lip... his lip ain't doing good. As fucked as the whole Helene thing was, no relationship has ever made more sense to me than that one (for all the wrong reasons) Mommy issues as bright as day right there. People don't agree with the relationship, and they're right, they shouldn't, but not because it's a bad storyline. Frank's storyline at the start of the season interested me, with the cancer lady and whatnot, not a fan of indulging Debbie into grooming, but it's Frank, and Frank is a fucking pos, but as soon as Queenie comes along I got so fucking BORED. Just not my cup of tea, the whole organic storyline put me to sleep. Kind of wish Debbie wasn't involved cause I think her pregnancy journey had more potential than ending up with Queenie. Idk that whole thing was just boring for me.

White boy Carl... eh, it is what it is, seemed in character enough ig, everyone expected part of this future to head that way so, yeah. Nick... so many mixed feelings like everyone else. I just feel for him man, that situation was horrendous. That, along with 3x666 are the only two scenes where I can't like... they're hard to stomach, for obvious reasons ik, but yeah. That was tough. I feel like it was fun to see Carl with his shenanigans, somewhat cringe but I can't pinpoint if it's because of E's performance or shitty writing.

I like the idea of parading a dragon as a cover for smuggling Aegon back in the Keep. (people mourning the dragon that killed hundred+ of them I do not. But TG can't have shit so...)

Baela passing her inheritance because....reasons. (reasons being we're so afraid of giving anyone in TB conflicting feelings about anything happening in their lives)

The Small Council scenes were so good. The men talking over Rhaenyra, disrespecting her because to them it doesn't matter that she's their better, their queen, she's just a woman at the end of the day. I think it was really well done and her frustration with it was so genuine I enjoyed it.

The same thing for Green Council. Them choosing Aemond over Alicent. Larys letting the final decision be Criston's knowing it will cause a divide in their personal relationship. The way the camera shows her being disappointed and overwhelmed when Aemond starts making plans and, once again, men talking only to each other uncaring for her opinion on anything.

Sunfyre can't actually be dead...right? I hope they're saying that just to later reveal it and have it be a shock to the audience but I don't trust these writers with anything so I'll just assume they killed him fr fr. But Criston did say "was dying" which means "not dead" ig

I know some are upset with Criston choosing Aemond over Alicent but you can tell that what he saw truly disturbed him and that he doesn't wish it upon Alicent. Sure, she doesn't need his protection in that sense but he is, imo, coming from a good place. And he's probably petrified of what Aemond is capable of doing as well.

I liked Jace's scenes a lot as well. He wants to fight, to prove himself, he has this burden of being a bastard and hiding in a castle won't do anything to help him gain favor.
