"I didn't ask you, ero-cook. I love her and she knows it. That's enough. Stay out of my relationship" Zoro snapped from the pantry, searching for some alcohol.

Zoro slammed shut the pantry, rattling the wall. The cook hid all the alcohol from him again.

"I don't want advice from a love sick fool who can't get a woman to save his life. At least I have a girlfriend" he spat, stalking towards the door.

"Yet you're arguing with me, trying to find alcohol to go drink alone instead of spending time with her. After everything she does for you." Zoro spun around angrily, hand on one of his swords, but was interrupted by the door to the eating area opening. You stood in the doorway hesitantly, immediately sensing the tension in the air, and the way it thickened at your presence.

"Oh. Uh. I stashed an extra bottle of alcohol away for you for when San-... uh... you couldn't find any... so... here" you held out the bottle. It was a bottle of decent sake you had swiped and stashed last week for the inevitable time the cook hid all the alcohol from your boyfriend, which you had seen the blond doing earlier.

"Thanks" Zoro muttered as he took it from your hand. He walked out the door, leaving you with the cook. You didn't miss the glower the cook sent towards the swordsman's back at his dismissive attitude, but you ignored it. You walked into the kitchen, distracting Sanji from his annoyance with a sweet request for two cups of water. He quickly got them for you with an exaggerated flourish, causing you to giggle. At the innocent sound, his smile turned sad before he became serious.

"You do too much for him and don't get enough in return" he muttered. Your heart clenched.

"He loves me in different ways, away from where people can see. Unfortunately, it's hard to do that on a ship" you said, shrugging off the comment. You knew it was true. You knew he loved you, he just... had lofty goals. It's hard to find time for romance and giving your lover attention when you're training constantly to be the worlds greatest swordsman, and first mate to the future pirate king. You knew that going into the relationship, and you were content with giving him attention so he knew he was loved.

"Besides, if he knows I love him, that's all that matters to me" you said.

"He doesn't even take you on dates when we go to islands" Sanji said quietly.

"It's pretty hard to do when he has the directional sense of a rock, and he somehow usually manages to get into some sort of trouble" you dismissed easily. The cook sighed, turning back to the stove.

"As long as you're happy, but I'd be glad to kick his ass for you if you ever feels like he needs it" he offered. You snorted, grabbing the waters as you made your way towards the door.

"You'd do it if he even looked at you wrong, let alone pissed me off" you teased, opening the door. Sanji waved goodbye with a sweet smile, knowing what you said was one hundred percent true. You rolled your eyes, making your way to the deck towards Zoro. It was evening, the sea breeze sweeping away the heat of the day, cooling the air to a comfortable temperature. The sun was starting to set, the sky turning gold with strokes of pink and red towards the horizon.

Your boyfriend was enjoying the last vestiges of sunlight on the deck, sprawled on his side with his head propped in his hand. You stood and admired his features for a second. His short green hair seemed more vibrant in this light, and his eyes closed gently, the scar over his eye shining with the different texture. The light hit his exposed chest just right, highlighting and shadowing his muscles that he worked so hard for. He brought the bottle of sake up to his lips and took a swig. You watched as his chiseled jaw moved as his throat bobbed. His earrings glinted in the golden light at the new angle. You swallowed, feeling butterflies erupt in your stomach.

"You just gonna stand there?" he asked, lowering the bottle from his lips. A drop made its way down his chin but he wiped it off carelessly with the back of his hand. You cleared your throat, flustered that you had been caught staring. You made your way to sit so he could see you with his good eye. You silently held out the glass of water, glancing at him quickly.

"You good? You look like your blushing" he said, letting his fingers linger over yours as he accepted the glass of water. One of his ways of showing innocent affection.

"Yeah... You just... You're so beautiful" you breathed honestly. Zoro blushed slightly and grunted, looking away from you. You giggled quietly, able to read his reactions like a book. He was surprised and flustered.

"Not my choice of description" he mumbled. You decided to tease him further.

"No? I could say you're pretty, or stunning. I could say you're handsome, sexy, strong, amazing-"

"Shut up!" he swatted your thigh lightly. Now he was beyond flustered, blushing all the way to his ears. You dissolved into laughter, falling onto your back as you clutched your stomach. You missed his gaze, staring openly at you with awe, but he controlled his expression quickly before someone saw him. Your laughter eventually faded, and you eased yourself up to lean on your elbows to watch the sunset. Streaks of purples, oranges, pinks, and reds painted the sky.

"Tomorrow we should arrive at a spring island" you said quietly. Zoro grunted quietly. To anyone else, it sounded like a simple acknowledgement that you spoke, but you heard his silent invitation to continue.

"It's famous for the flower fields that grow wild there" you said, awe and excitement coloring your voice. You didn't notice his curious glance towards you.

"Yeah?" he prodded. You sat up fully, hugging your knees to your chest, your expression dreamy as you let the visual of the current sunset coloring imaginary wildflower fields form in your mind.

"Mmmhmm. I told Chopper I'd go with him" you said quietly.

An idea bloomed in the swordsman's mind, but he kept his expression neutral.

"For medicinal herbs?" he asked. You nodded.

"I'm excited" you said dreamily. Zoro hummed, a plan forming behind his neutral face. He'd need to ask some favors, which he hated, but to see you smile it was worth it.

The next morning you woke up with more energy than usual, the excitement to visit the wildflower fields evident in your actions. All morning, you asked Robin about her flowers, and she lent you a book about the flowers you were likely to see on this island. You devoured the information until Luffy exclaimed loudly that he could see land. You worked off your extra energy running wild around the ship with him and Chopper, feeding each other's childish excitement. You didn't see Zoro anywhere, but assumed he was training in the crows nest.

The ship finally docked, and you waited impatiently for Chopper to finish gathering what he needed before the two of you leapt off the ship.

"Oi! Wait up! I'm coming with you two" your boyfriend called out, sounding exasperated as he slung a bag around him. Your happy surprise showed in a small squeal and a jump into his arms once he caught up. A wide grin donned your lips and you laughed as he tsk'd at your behavior and pushed you back by your forehead.

"Did you shower?" you asked, surprised. Normally it took you promising alone time or a bottle of sake to get him to shower regularly.

"So what if I did?"

You shrugged, grabbing his hand as you turned away.

"C'mon! Let's go! And don't let go of my hand. I don't want you getting lost"

You lead the way through the town, the three of you stopping to buy some drinks before continuing. Chopper got chocolate milk, Zoro got sake, and you tried a popular local flower tea. You asked the shopkeeper directions to the flower fields to make sure you were going the right way. He nodded, but leaned forward, indicating at your hand in Zoro's.

"The fields are a tourist attraction, but there's a place that's out of the way and much prettier, if you're looking for a more secluded area." You opened your mouth to say it didn't matter, but Zoro leaned forward, intrigued. You realized he probably wanted to take a nap in the quiet area, so you nodded and asked for directions. You thanked the shopkeeper with a few coins as a tip for his information, and set off with Chopper and Zoro in tow.

"You didn't have to give him money just for telling us that" Zoro griped. You rolled your eyes.

"You just say that 'cause you're in huge debt to Nami" you teased. He bristled slightly.

"He offered up the information for free!"

You shrugged.

"You repay kindness with kindness. That comes in different forms for different people"

Zoro grunted, having no reply to that. Chopper spoke up.

"Ooo you're so nice! But the directions the man gave you leads to a different area where the herbs I need don't grow. Is it okay if we split up? I'll be fine by myself, and you can go enjoy the beautiful area."

You hesitated. You told Chopper you'd help him find herbs, but the offer to spend alone time with Zoro without other people disturbing you in a flower field sounded too tempting. Your boyfriend squeezed your hand.

"He'll be fine. Let's go. You're excited right?"

You exhaled, and ran your free hand through your hair before smiling down at Chopper.

"You sure?" He nodded determinedly at your question, then ran off with a quick goodbye and a promise to be safe. You watched him for a bit, but turned around when Zoro tugged on your hand.

"C'mon. Lets go" he urged. He began leading you, but you quickly stopped him, a smile tugging on your lips.

"That's the way we came from, babe. This way."

He huffed in embarrassment both at his mistake and your pet name, but let you lead him. You reached a fork in the path just outside the town. One sign indicated the path lead to the flower fields, but you headed down the unmarked path, following the shopkeeper's directions.

"Oi. The sign said the other way. You sure we're on the right path?" your boyfriend asked. You glanced at him with a single raised brow and a smirk.

"I love you so much Zoro, but I'm surprised you even realized the sign was referring to the other path"

He blushed and spluttered, indignant at your quip and flustered by your easy admission of your feelings towards him. You cut him off with a soft laugh.

"Hurry up! I can smell the flowers already!" You broke into a quick jog. The swordsman easily kept pace with you, staying by your side even as you let go of his hand. You focused on the path ahead of you, missing his quick, adoring glance at you. There was nobody around, after all.

A few minutes later, you rounded a corner of a rock face, and your view exploded in vibrant colors. Shades of purple, pink, yellow, orange, green, and blue dotted the field sprawled in front of you. You gasped audibly, in awe of the view in front of you. The air was thick with the sweet scent of flowers, the breeze wafting their perfume around you as it brushed the petals and bowed the thin stems in waves. A lone apple tree stood in the middle of the field, matching the rustling of the field as the breeze threaded through it's boughs. The field led to a cliff, which looked out over a hidden cove. The beach below was white sand and turquoise waters.

You stepped forward hesitantly, unwilling to crush any of the beautiful plants. A warm hand landed on your lower back, nudging you forward. You couldn't tear your eyes away from the flowers.

He considered asking Brook to be nearby to play some of your favorite songs, but he really wanted it to be the two of you during this date, so he asked him to do it tonight, back on the ship. He asked Robin and Usopp to work together to buy some seeds and plant you some flowers from the area in a small planter, so you could always have a little bit of this spring island with you. He even asked Chopper to make an excuse to find the herbs somewhere else. It was lucky that the shopkeeper guided the two of you away from where the reindeer actually needed to go.

He flicked open the blanket, spreading it on the ground beneath the tree. He saw a few ripe apples in the branches, and picked them easily. He heard your footsteps approaching, but didn't look back, focused on reaching the last apple, just out of his reach.

Yakuza Fiance Ep1 Manga Comparison

The first ep of Raise wa Tanin ga Ii aka Yakuza Fiance, just aired. Overall the ep was good, great expressions and voice work and the pacing was fairly good, HOWEVER there are some important and/or fun things that slipped through the cracks of adaptation. Since I am SUPER normal about the manga I got everything here under the cut. Warning these are fan translations cause I'm lazy.

We are starting out stronger here with this little back and forth between Kirishima and Tachibana

The anime cuts out Tachibana's response which helps to show how these characters interact but also establishes the impression Yoshino gives to others she doesn't interact with.

So overall the scene of Yoshino confronting Renji gets cut down but I think the loss of this character beat is sad.

In the anime Renji just changes the topic when Yoshino bemoans her looks, while in the manga he actually kinda feels bad for her and does more to talk up the situation. Another bit we loose is Renji noting how similar Kirishima and Gaku look this comes up a few times later on in the series so its fine but still.

Overall the scene goes on longer and you get a better feel for the dynamic between the two. Also he talks Kirishima up WAY more so you can better understand why Yoshino would even go.

Yoshino's arrival is also way shorter in the anime, she just kinda arrives. We loose this explanation by Renji about the differences between Tokyo and Osaka Yakuza

Followed up by Yoshino noting the compound does feel like a traditional inn but that you can't ignore its a Yakuza home due to security cameras about.

But this is nothing compared to Yoshino and Kirishimas first meeting the anime cuts quite a bit from Kirishima revealing he was with her the whole time to talking about staying in the annex.

When Kirishima starts pulling her along Yoshino kinda notices his pushy behavior, at a later point Tsubaki will equate it to a salesman forcing his way in and that is exactly what Kirishima is doing. This next bit however I am really upset got cut.

After asking why she doesn't have an accent Yoshino explains Renji taught her both dialects in a weird "Do what the locals do" mindset. This bit follows where Kirishima assumed she'd have a strong accent and this is actually a bit of foreshadowing, set up to a later pay off that happens in the ep, and a bit of characterization for Yoshino. That's a lot so let me explain

Kirishima reveals he had expectations for Yoshino as a person this right here is the first hint of it and will carry into the alley incident later but also just overall. Yoshino almost always acts in a way Kirishima does not expect.

The series starts with Yoshino speaking with an Osakan accent then when shes in Tokyo it stops only to come back in times of stress or anger, you might not notice however she's dropped the accent without Kirishima noting it. So when he asks where's her accent? That kinda tells the audience to look for it and oh boy do we get it

Finally this shows a little of Yoshino character as well, she's trying to blend in, trying to not make a fuss and make things easier for everyone and a way she does that is by altering the way she speaks, but you can also see it all over the scene she's very stiff she doesnt want to touch anything so she holds her bag tight

The tour is also a little longer but the overall speech at the end is the same in both. Though again you can see more clearly how Yoshino was charmed into coming to Tokyo in the manga as we spend more time with Kirishima.

One thing I noticed is we loose a lot of Yoshino's internal thoughts in the anime and along with foreshadowing. Such as this moment.

This is the first time the readers are let in on the idea that theres something up with Kirishima until this moment he seemed maybe a little odd but overall normal, this gives us a glimpse of whats to come.

I think this is the best example of removing Yoshino's thoughts in the anime she just notes she's getting a lot of stares but the manga has a full page on this

This actually starts a mini arc for these chapters where Yoshino compares her life in Osaka to Tokyo and how different it is. Like there's a difference to getting talked about behind your back where you can't hear and within hearing difference, her situation wasn't great in Osaka but she knew how to deal with it. This is all new to her and kinda establishes she's dealing with a lot.

After seeing him in the yard at night, which is the same in the anime and manga, the anime only gives us a brief scene of Yoshino thinking Kirishima is acting distant and only giving a slight thought to what the moment could mean for him. And did you guess it? the manga gives us more.

We get a confirmation that days have passed since then, which the anime doesn't denote, she then ponders what he does outside of school and tries to push it from her mind.

From here we get the same bit of girls gossiping about her openly that the anime has where they suggest she's a prostitute working off a debt and such. The scenes are much the same expect for how it ends. The anime just has her calling it a pain in the ass but in the manga we get this bit after that thought.

Much like before this shows that Yoshino is dealing with a lot and nearing her limit. She's alone in Tokyo and isn't sure what to do.

The build up to the alley scene is a LOT shorter in the anime than the manga and is loosing out on some character moments for Yoshino.

We have her being worried about imposing on Kirishima and him brushing it off. Then when she notices she didnt withdraw money he states he thought HE was paying, again these subtle notes that he's been making assumptions about her.

The pick up guys scene is the same overall in the anime as in the manga, if anything the lead into the fight...actually can i call that a fight? the beating in the alley is longer in the anime. But it does cut this character beat here

The scene is relatively the same but we loose Kirishima casually tossing what I can only assume is that guys tooth over his shoulder. It helps to show how horribly he's beaten them and how callous he is to this violence and I honestly don't get why they didn't use it.

The scene after this as they walk away and his tattoo is revealed is the same but once more we loose a Yoshino thought that kinda helps to explain the scene

I get they likely didnt want to break tension but they could easily have had her voice that while she's use to tattoo's and violence with Kirishima it's different, it unsettles her.

The scene where his mask drops fully is very accurate to the manga however when he starts talking about selling her body the manga actually goes into far greater detail this is about the only thing I get being cut back.

Now transitioning back to the school the anime looses this lead in moment that shows how on edge Yoshino is

She hears a boy speak behind her and it scares her, the assumption being he must sound like Kirishima. Her internal dialogue also tells us that she hasn't seen him for a bit since the alley. The anime comes in after this where she contemplates going back to Osaka but goes against it but again doesn't denote time passing where as the manga states it hasn't been a month yet.

The "bullying" scene is the same in the anime and manga but her clean up is longer and gives a look into Yoshinos mind again

She is methodically thinking about how to mange the shoes, showcasing how she tends to focus on small things right in-front her and just dealing with it, all the while trying to push the unpleasant parts from her mind such as returning to the Miyama house.

We get the same thought from of thinking of going back to Osaka but shaking it off in anime as in the manga but as shown here without a lot of the build up the manga has. For what I have to assume is time reasons, we don't get Yoshino's thoughts on her situation as much and her growing exhaustion from all the mental shit she's dealing with. Think about it she moves miles from home, is living alone with strangers, going to a school where people openly bad talk and bully her, and the person she came here to get to know has been lying to her and tells her she's worthless and to just sell herself or leave, and this all happens in less than a month. I sure as hell would want to quit. But I don't think the anime really gets this across all that well.

So again this next scene with Renji goes about the same in the anime I mean its functionally the same but again we loose a little character beat.

So far I'd say there's a warmth that's missing from these talks between grand father and daughter in the anime. Yoshino doesn't stop acting like she's fine until she starts getting a normal conversation from hi , probably the most normal one she's had in days. This also sets up how Yoshino picked up gardening from Renji which is just a nice thing as she does garden later in the series.

But also the anime looses out on this great expression

Its a much more one sided conversation in the anime, again giving distance to the characters. Think about how you talk to those you are close with you interrupt them more and such much like the manga does.

After this the scenes are identical to the manga a couple lines dropped but overall its the same which is good cause these are the scenes that originally sold me on the series.

So that's it every major thing that the anime dropped from the manga. Overall its not bad but looses some insights into Yoshino which I hope doesn't continue. I might do these for each ep we'll see.

Okay but the thing is… Malleus ISN’T controlling the dreams?

That’s been a HUGE misconception due to him offering to give Lilia a good dream when he came in at the end of his dream. But he doesn’t actually control them at first.

His power is giving them their happily ever after dream at the time he cast the spell.

We know this because why would he have given Lilia that dream? The dream full of suffering where his best friend died and he was in the middle of a war? But it was still his FAVORITE MEMORY because it was Malleus’ birth. That was NOT Malleus’ choice. That was NOT his influence. Malleus wanted to give Lilia his happiest moment, and his magic delivered, no matter how horrible that moment might have seemed to others.

Because Lilia’s happiest moment was also surrounded by some of his worst. Can’t have sunshine without storms and all that.

Now when it comes to Floyd - the problem is, he DOES have ADHD like CRAZY. So the dream WAS fun for him. It WAS what he wanted… at first. The magic worked as it was supposed to. But Floyd’s definition of what was a great dream, a great happily ever after changed. Which meant the good dream became a terrible one.

But he was stuck in it, because the magic didn’t change with him, Malleus’ magic didn’t WORK with Floyd. It gave him ONE dream. It wasn’t expecting Floyd to get BORED of his “perfect” world. Which is how we got that really sad situation.

Another thing that kinda proves that Malleus does not control the dreams unless he directly involves himself, like with Lilia’s dream, is that he has ALL of Sage island asleep and under his spell.

He doesn’t know all of the students at NRC or all the people on Sage Island. So how could he have possibly known what their ideal HEAs were if he’s never met them? He doesn’t. But his magic works with their minds to give them that, just like all the students we know.

So… from what I can tell, Malleus actually isn’t controlling the dreams at all unless he comes in and interferes directly. His magic literally gives the dreamer what they think is what they want in their perfect world. It’s obviously NOT, in the long run, as they are all finding out, but that’s not the point lol.

Now don’t get me wrong, I am still very, VERY interested in what the Savanaclaw students are gonna dream about, because honestly? The twst devs really seem to fuck Leona over. They keep giving him the short end of the stick and like to have characters be mean to him for seemingly no reason. So I’m wondering if they are going to continue this trend and make me SUPER FREAKING MAD or actually give Leona the development that they have continuously hinted at throughout the ENTIRE GAME and actually let him shine for once.

I somehow doubt it, but a girl can *snorts* dream.

Anyway, sorry for the long ask! Just wanted to add my 2¢ about the Malleus dream issue!

I'm just piecing stuff together from what I saw based on Floyd's POV and we don't know the full extent from Malleus' UM. While Floyd's was sad to see, my son needs enrichment, we get moments like Kalim and Jamil's fist fight that made us go:

So Malleus' magic most likely skims the dreams of the person and makes up the dream from there. But yeah, my now largest issue is Leona's dream given his relationship with Mallues.

But I will admit, it's funny to not only see these dreams, but to figure out some of what we speculated was right.

...But this book and Malleus' actions have made me like him a little less. I really wanna see the aftermath tho, cause Crowley can keep the other 6 overblots hidden, but Malleus' was worldwide, you can't hide that.

And…what if I asked to start this new year off with some angst headcanons? Specifically the gang accidentally forgetting Two-Bit’s birthday. (Bonus points if you throw in either Dar-Bit,Dalbit, Or TimBit,you can decide.)

Idk everyone always says they’d forget Ponyboy or Sodapop’s birthday. And I genuinely can’t see that happening with how the Curtis brothers act. But I can definitely see them accidentally missing Two-Bit’s birthday. I can also see Two having very mixed feelings on this especially if his own family forgot as well.

•FOR THE CURTIS GANG AND BDAYS, mrs curtis actually made a whole list of everyones day so she doesnt forget and after she died, darry followed that tradition on (or at least tried to). darrys the one who tells everyone whos bday it is so EVERYONNEEE wishes them well, this time however, he was so exhausted from work he misread two’s bday as being later on in the month

•tbh, two bit never striked me as the type to put a lot of emphasis on his bday, he loves having fun but i dint think hes BIG on the attention that comes w it being ur bday, he doesnt complain about it however. in his head its just if u remember u remember, if u dont, u dont, hes not gonna wish death upon u or somethin

- she’s a very physical player considering the main (the only reason i’ve seen that’s not entirely misogyny) reason women don’t become nhlers is the lack of hitting in women’s leagues and she wants to prove that she can be useful in that aspect of the game

the first time she hits jack he is not expecting it and the hits are consistent until they get to know each other and then she pulls a tiny bit

he’s blushing and kicking his feet and whatever and nico is like you’re fucking delusional kid

- she’s either drafted in 2019, 2020, or 2021

if she’s drafted in 2019, she initially sticks to cole like literal glue and that’s how she meets jack, who of course embarrasses the shit out of himself drunk and says something that happened to be a deep rooted insecurity of hers. she gets over it and during the summer she makes plans with cole again and jacks there, and this time he can handle his alcohol a little better and makes a better impression - when they start hooking up he remembers the night and feels like an ASS cause he now realizes why she avoided him like the plague

for 2020, it’s dawson she meets first, which makes a lot of sense with his role in the au. she becomes really attached to him in a permanent way and the first time they play each other he invites her out. a lot of the devils are confused and he’s like she’s cool i promise!! her on ice persona proves to be strictly for on ice shenanigans and a lot of them kind of feel bad as she’s definitely gotten some backlash for being a girl in the nhl. she’s getting advice from nico and she’s kinda tucked into dawson cause he’s her comfort person when jack comes up and also embarrasses himself cause he falls face first tripping over himself when he sees her out of her gear for the first time

if she’s drafted in 2021, jacks watching the live draft with luke and just as everything’s calming down with the excitement of luke going to the devils, the rangers announce that they’ve chosen you. they play a clip from your women’s league and from what he can see your game and energy is very similar to trevor’s (he hates it) and then later that night he sees the clip of you going around celebrating being the first woman drafted to the nhl and he goes back on that thought and cyber stalks you until your first time playing nj in which he meets you at the blue line for warmups and flirts so badly

- when quinn meets her in the media edit her and jack are already hooking up, and quinn doesn’t really piece that together cause she does a really good job at making fun of jack and avoiding his flirting

but jack?? is so obvious abt it

quinn’s convinced his little brother is getting off to her highlight reels

he only brings it up once she’s gone and he’s basically like ‘ur as red as your jersey and it’s pathetic but that whole ordeal was cute i guess. she’d fix you up,’

- twitter was in a FRENZY during the asg and the whole all star weekend

since it’s in toronto in 23-24 i can so see her trying to make an impression on mitch cause she wants to talk hockey with him so bad and i’m gonna assume austons there too so jack is butthurt that she’s hanging out with him and at some point he plops next to her on the bench and is like ‘we’re gonna get a goal together and we should plan a celly’

she’s opposed until he’s like ‘fine i’ll just pick you up and make you celly with me then’ and she gives in

but whatever it is they choose to do has people going fucking INSANE on twitter and tiktok and then the next four points they get together they just start making it more and more elaborate and at the last one (y/n goal, jack primary a) he just slides onto his knees and grabs her legs while she’s essentially t posing and yelling

they absolutely have the most energy out of anyone there (i don’t really remember the asg so i don’t even remember if the players even celly?? but i mean 5 pts warrants a scream celly even if it’s a scrimmage)

jack wouldn’t normally be like that for an asg but he’s LOVING the fact that almost all cellys include a hug

she views the all star weekend as one of her favourite nights and weekends off all time cause it’s one of the only times that all of the love she was getting and the love for her and jack overpowered all of the misogynistic keyboard warriors that hate women whining on socials and she had a completely positive weekend where all of her teammates were actually supportive and she felt wanted

commentators DO lose their shit over the two of them having such good chemistry and because commentating in the nhl is so bad i can assume that the words ‘a devil and a ranger’ were said about 28392748374 times that night alone

i want to say she gets mvp for the weekend but knowing the nhl it would be jack

he does not shut up about her during his interviews he’s like ‘she deserves this just as much or more than i do’ and then MORE people go insane cause jack ‘i didn’t know there was a town in new jersey’ hughes is eloquently complementing a teammate during a SCRUM

- she was genuinely so confused writing that comment cause at this point she’d called him j many times 😭 i think he was shocked she said it publicly but that’s all she could bring herself to reply

- assuming her first game in the nhl was before his they would probably meet in the 22-23 playoffs while luke was still in the press box

jack already had a HUGE crush on her and when she meets luke in the parking lot, walking with dawson she’s like !!!!!!! luke !!!!!!!

he’s with jack and jacks kinda thinking to himself like ‘she’s never like !!!!!! jack !!!!!!!!’ and dawson, being dawson invites them for beers at her place and she gets really close with luke that night

they’re giggling like they’re telling each other secrets and dawson is like ‘dude grow a pair and go fucking talk to her’

the next day luke’s texting her on the couch and she’s calling him moosey and her contact name is very incriminating and jacks a GROCUH for the rest of the day

- rangers debut? or devs debut? both??? i’ll do both

her debut with the rangers is so awkward because obviously she was chosen and signed because she’s skilled and deserves her spot

but a lot of them just do not like her

it’s the biggest reason she requested her trade

the only friend she felt that didn’t secretly just hate her guts for existing was igor, who obviously couldn’t help her case much seeing as he’s stuck in the net

during her very first game she was on the third line and her line mates were trying their very best to keep the puck from her cause they didn’t trust her with it

during the third period they’re down by two and she just takes the puck and leaves with it while her centre is obviously trying to set up a play that she was not meant to be a part of

she goes for the five hole and pots it and they don’t even really celly with her other than going behind her to shake hands with the bench

this fixes nothing and they still don’t want her with the puck so the coach moves her up a line and there’s much better chemistry and cooperation despite them still not being her biggest fan

igor gets it to her for a breakaway and she goes bar down with him as the only assist

this is mostly because the other team is also really underestimating her and they feel like they don’t really need to be on her

they’re covering her line mates cause they’re assuming she’ll pass and set up the play especially since her pass was from the goalie

the game goes to a shootout and after the other team misses their third shot the coach just kinda looks at the bench and calls her name

she’s shocked and the arena is dead quiet when she goes out on the ice

like pin drop quiet

she wins them the game and pretty much tells them that if they underestimate her again she’ll just let them lose and that she was signed for a reason and they need to grow tf up

her devs debut goes much more smoothly. it’s definitely a little harder for her to score at this point cause the other teams aren’t underestimating her as much

however the tension with her and jack is at an all time high after that text conversation

the first point she scores is a goal and jack isn’t an assist, it’s bratter and johnny

during the celly she smiles at him cause she feels different than her rangers debut - she feels different with the team and she feels like they actually love her and want her around

he wants so badly to make it up to her for everything he said in his messages and all he can think to do right in that moment is to hold the back of her helmet and knock his visor against hers a little

halfway through the period things between them are going so much better and the chemistry is very much there

she assists on his goal and they recreate the celly from the all star game and then she screams in his face out of pure excitement

he’s smiling at her like she created the world and people go nuts for that whole thing

a little bit into the second period is her wonderwall concert

her and dawson are belting with each other and there’s a gifset that goes around of the two of them singing that pans to jack being all heart eyed for her

the next shift she gets another goal, this one assisted by him and luke and the vibes are absolutely immaculate

during the very same shift luke scores, assisted by her and jack and she jumps onto luke like a proud older sister and shakes jacks shoulders all excitedly

Ok. So I just answered this one. So I guess this time I'll give some reasons for each one.

8.My Love Mix-Up! This one just started so there isn't a lot to say about it and what I got to say I kinda did when it aired. I'll be waiting to see if it improves because I like the actors. 7.Love Sea I literally just finished watching the first episode an hour ago. I'm not sold and the reason it surpasses MLMU is the ocean. I love anything a little bit more if I can watch the ocean at the same time. 6.We Are It's not breaking any new ground. But I'm enjoying the friendship moments a lot. The group is really fun and they are all very natural together. Tan/Fang are my favourites atm and I wish I had more than crumbs Chain/Pun, because I find Pun really fun to watch. 5.Knock Knock, Boys! It's really fun. I'm actually laughing in certain moments which doesn't happen all that often. I really like the house dynamics, it feels very real to me. Seng is great of course, but I like all of them. The food montage was a high moment for me. I was drooling. 4.Only Boo! They are so freakin adorable. I am in pain. That train break up was so sad. Well done but sad. I understand the reason, and it makes sense from what we know of Kang, but it was painful. And that title card '1 year later'... I hate it so much. We don't really know how much happened in that year so I don't want to preemptively criticize it, but I hope that something else changed and not only the calendar. Cause if you're gonna move past so many things, at least give me growth. 3.With You I Bloom This one is a jdrama and thanks to an amazing fansubber I can watch as it airs which is not always the case with jdramas. This is not a bl, but I don't think anyone has told the show yet. I started watching this one because there are a lot of jbl actors in it so I was curious. And I'm having so much fun. It's basically a bunch of dudes learning to fight with swords in very nice clothes. There are a bunch of couples pairs, with very different dynamics, several sad backstories, and the final theme song makes cackle every time because it's always a massive tonal shift, because it's so happy and honestly, so so gay. 2.Wandee Goodday It's a whole new level of idiots in love and I love it. Like there's idiot in love, and then there's Dee. He's going for first place and no one can even touch him. I think if Taem clearly and without reservations rejects Yak, he can accept his feelings for Dee properly. But Dee is all over the place and at this point I don't think the show is doing a good job at telling me why. He keeps going back and forth too quickly for me. I truly hope that final flashback he had when they were running was him accepting his feelings. Also I NEED to know about Cher and Oyei. I need that backstory. TODAY. 1.At 25:00 in Akasaka I love Hayama a normal amount. This last episode was a rollercoaster for me. That ending left me screaming. And then I went through a whole thing when @lurkingshan threw my glasses on the floor and I was able to see everything in a whole new way. Anyway I love this show. What they are doing with the two shows is so interesting, and the editing is so smart. And I love them both. Hayama has my whole heart though.

2. Which show do you think will have the best ending?

Honestly, I have no idea. Endings are hard. It's hard to tie all the loose ends and make everybody happy. Jbl's lately have not done a great job at them. I still trust them more than Thai bl endings and I feel like we are collectively dreading WG end because of that. So honestly. If I'm going by what I've seen so far, I'm gonna say Only Boo. Maybe because the stakes are not as high as for some of the other shows, I expect a solid ending that will leave me with a big smile and a full heart. And that's honestly more than I've been getting so I'll be happy.

You have no clue how much I wanted to yap about this to someone other than my bestfriend and in a discord server holy shit-

So the Next-Gen Au is literally kinda what you would expect it to be. It's an au about the next generation of dreamchasers...

Basically I aged the dreamchasers up and gave them kids idk it came to mind.

The au is still being worked on so not much as been done but I can still share some stuff about it so here we go!

This is just me yapping about the kids because I don't have much for everyone else again this au is still in the works sorry.

Mateo and Zoey are married and they have a daughter named Tayley.

Tayley shares a lot of interests and talents with both of them and wants to be an artist like her dad. Although, this terms of personality, she got it from her aunt. She is very social and also very hyper. Unfortnately is very much has beef with Chelsea, Cooper's youngest.

(Small fun fact: One time Izzie babysat her and when Mateo and Zoey returned they found her and Izzie covered in glitter. This happened when she was very young. No one knew how she managed to find the glitter in the first place but she did it.)

Cooper is unfortnately divorced but has two daughters: Jessica (Older) and Chelsea (Younger).

Izzie is a single mother who adopted a child named Marco.

Marco is a complete nerd. He is a BIG fan of Bunchu Bunny (His mom caused this by letting him watch it with her when he was small. Yes that anime still exists in this au. Yes she is still a fan.) often beggin his mom to get merch for whenever he has the chance. He is also insanely... like... very energetic... even more than Tayley. DO NOT let him eat a large amount of sugar.

(Fun fact: His room is decked out in Bunchu Bunny plushes and action figures. There are some things from other things he likes, however, but it's a very small amount.)

Speaking of Tayley, those two are basically partners in crime. They often hang out with eachother, basically sharing a braincell too.

Chelsea is... very rude, honestly. She has a very large ego for some reason, often being very snooty, making light yet harsh jabs at others whether provoked or not. Although despite her rudeness, one could say she is very smart, even smarter than her sister, often getting straight A's in all of her classes. She is also very interested in technology, sometimes pestering her father about it. However, despite this, she is somewhat more into poetry.

Jessica is a very sporty girl with a hint of nature lover in her. You would often find her outside either playing soccer with her friends or perhaps simply enjoying the outdoors. She is very smart, especially in terms of both sports and nature. She is also very fond of animals, her favorite being dogs.

(Sadish Fun fact: Before the divorce, she loved to garden with her mother. She still does it, occasionally.)

Sad fact: She cried when their dog ran away. Her name was Rose. She named the dog.)

(Sad fact: While she has had certain moments before the divorce, most of her rude ways started to occur post-divorce.)

Logan and Astrid and are married and have a kid and I really do not feel like sharing current his name rn because I wanna change it into something else so please give me suggestions. I beg of you-

I will say he is actually like... insanely shy. He's very quiet and soft-spoken in nature and often finds himself reading books he likes or otherwise just... not socializing. It's only really when you get to know him that he actually comes out of his shell a little bit. He is also a little sporty but finds himself more into music. Very big fan of EDM but he will never admit this out loud. He is also a "straight A" student.

(Fun fact: When he was younger, he always needed to be read a bed-time story before he sleeps. Otherwise, he's not gonna go to sleep. Telling him some story of whatever happened that day or maybe even in the past worked as well.)

So yeah that's kinda... all I really got for now. There's more but I'm gonna share it later since it's getting late for me. Ty so much for letting me yap I appreciate u

-Like, yeah, he believes in your loyalty. But his childhood, when parents didn't give that much love to him and he had to fight for their attention, makes him kinda paranoid.

-So yeah, you both have hard times in jealousy. Because Sasara is also a popular comedian and it makes you kinda sad too when so many fans crowd around him, giggling and clearly flirting..

-And of course some people are trying to befriend you, knowing that you're his partner and thinking they would be able to get some profit from this..

-Most of the time Sasara just interrupts this awkward conversation and jokes this away..

-"Mm? Well, darling, how can I not be jealous when it's about you? Sometimes I get jealous even when you go grocery shopping.." - he sighs dramatically and giggles. - "..cause there’s always a cashier checking you out..!"

-So expect him to cling to you for the whole day after, as he will not leave you side even for a moment, hand tightly holding yours.

-But actually he does understand that it's kinda foolish, especially when you have much more reason to be jealous of his fans. So the longer you two are dating the more chill Sasara starts to be about this, knowing you actually love him.

-Well, but it doesn't mean you would get in a little beef with someone who's too stubborn in their tries to win you over.

-Example? Well, you always try to visit all his performances, supporting him from the crowd and giggling every time he notices you and start smiling wider.

-But today, as you were waiting for him to return from the dressing room, some strange guy approached you. It was more like he's not your boyfriend's fan but just a random stranger who decided to hit on you.

-It was so boring. You are sitting here for five minutes already, trying to tell him with all your words and actions that, no, I'm not alone here, and no, I'm not searching for some fun tonight.

-"Why are you so cold? You know, I'm not a bad guy…" - he chuckled and tried to get closer. - "I'm actually an astronaut.. Doesn't this sound prestigious..?"

-"Ah, but aren't dating an astronaut is kinda hard? You always need some space..!" - Sasara suddenly appeared out of nowhere, standing between you two. All you notice is his furrowed brows before he turns to this unwanted jerk. - "Sorry, but this star has already fallen for me!"

-Guy just scoff and walk away, leaving you two alone. You can't help but chuckle a little bit, hugging your boyfriend from behind, and he immediately relaxed.

-".. don't laugh at me.." - Sasara mumble and turns to you, hugging tightly. Soft blush appears on his cheeks as he kisses you, more passionate than usual.. - "I hate when someone starts annoying you like that.."

-"No, dear, I was laughing at your little puns.." - you nod, leaning to his chest. - "Don't you worry, I will never leave the orbit of our love, Sasara.."

-"Hehe, I hope so.." - every time you start to make your own puns he gets excited. - "Now come on, give me another kiss.. I want everyone to see that you are shining only for me, star.."

-Oh, it's so hard for him! Rosho actually can be pretty jealous and possessive sometimes, but he doesn't want to stress you with this..

-So he would try to be more chill about it.

-For him, there's nothing wrong with you hanging out with your male friends. And even if someone will try to flirt with you, he will not start a fight right in the place, knowing you will not leave him for anyone.

-"Sorry, but actually we're here together.." - Rosho always just softly interrupts weird conversations between you and random guys, when he sees you feel uneasy.

-Acting like nothing happened yet holding your shoulder more tight than usual, leaning you closer to him while you walk together. And of course if you ask him if something is wrong Rosho would try to keep being calm and not start blushing. Is he actually so easily readable?

-The only situations when he doesn't mind showing his jealousy is when someone flirts with you really heavily or if you start flirting back, even in a joking manner.

-You just decided to visit him at work and bring some sweets for his lunch break. As soon as you get closer to the school your boyfriend is working in, you send a little text that you're here.

-"Hey, cutie, what's your name?" - you shrug from the sudden sound and turn to voice, just to see a guy around your age getting closer. - "I didn't see you here before!"

-Turns out that this guy always picks his little brother after his lessons are over, and now was waiting for him. Well, he definitely was really bored as you just can't get away from him.

-"Are you also here waiting for your siblings?" - he asks, and before you even have time to answer he gets closer. - "Oh, come on! Why don't we leave youngsters in my house and then go for a little walk, mm?"

-"Sorry, but I don't think it would be proper of you to call me 'youngster'" - warm hand placed on your waist as Rosho looked over your shoulder to this man with a calm but cold gaze. - "As the only one who's my spouse waiting for is me.."

-This guy excuses himself as he quickly recognizes one of his brother's teachers, and walks away, ashamed. While you turn to Rosho with laughter.

-"Oh? So I'm your spouse now?" - you can't help but giggle more, seeing how his cheeks start to redden.

-"I just.. You send a text and then not come inside, I get worried.." - with a low sigh Rosho mumbled, embracing you tightly so you wouldn't see his red face. - "And when I walk outside I notice this guy.. He was too close, you know.."

-"He was too.. cheerful and chatty, yeah.." - you chuckle and kiss his cheek. - "But I thought you know I prefer someone calm as you.. Yes, my husband?"

-"You will tease me about this for a long time, yeah?" - it was clearly visible that Rosho was actually kinda happy with this. - "Now take my hand, today would be a parent-teacher meeting so there's many people.. I want them to know you're taken.."

-There was something amusing in the way Rosho reacted to these little jokes, so you just can't stop sometimes. -"Oh, want them to confuse us with another couple who's here to hear about their kid's behavior?~"

-The most calm one. At least in the beginning.

-Well, he's always around people and had so many lovers in his life before that he does understand it would be stupid from his side to be jealous. With passing years this cunning fox started to think there's nothing worth jealousy, the main thing is just having fun together.

-But Rei doesn't mind to use this as a presence to tease you a little and pull you into some hot messy make outs. Or hold your waist tighter in public.

-So yeah, his little "tantrums" look more like teases and jokes than actual jealousy, as he knows damn well how to make you no more jealous and possessive over him with his games.

-But as time passes and as more you start digging in his heart, the more possessive this old con man starts to be. And he is not shy about saying it out loud.

-"Mm? Yes, I'm jealous.." - Rei chuckled after scaring away some guys from you with his big height and kinda mocking tone. - "After all, birdie, you get inside my golden cage, and I don't want any dirty cats to catch you now.."

-But he still loves to spend some nights with you in clubs, spoiling you with drinks and desserts. How can he not? Rei just wants everyone to see he's having the brightest darling here, all by himself.

-And he doesn't really like it when someone interrupts his fun and tries to capture his little sun. After all, he just walks away to a bar and leaves you for a few minutes, and here's some young guy thinking he would be better at seducing you than an old charming womanizer.

-"You look absolutely stunning tonight.." - this guy was kinda bold, almost immediately sitting next to you before you even gave permission to this. Even though you keep saying that you're with a partner here, he just brushes it off with a joke and keep flirting.

-"I love your jewelry.. You have a good taste.." - this jerk suddenly gets closer trying to touch your hand.

-"Of course. After all, I'm the one who buys this and teaches my little kitten a good taste.." - a low chuckle sounded behind his back and the young guy shrugged, not expecting to see such a large man standing next to him. Despite Rei having a smirk on his face, his eyes didn't say anything good. - "What's wrong? Want to have a private lesson from me too?"

-As quickly as this jerk sits next to you, as quickly he jumps from this place, leaving you two in laughter.

-"Ahh, you get jealous?" - you giggle as your boyfriend sits next to you with two drinks he got from a bar. - "You look kinda cute when you are so possessive.."

-"Cute? Maybe you tried to say 'charming'? As I'm kinda old to words like 'cute', baby.." - Rei chuckled, his arm already on your waist, holding you closer to him. You lean to his chest, still with a wild smile on your face.

-"Okay, okay, my charming incomparable darling.." - maybe you start to spend too much time with this old man, as you also get more teasy than usual. But it looked like Rei was enjoying it and playing along.

-"Keep with these sweet words. This is what my hurted soul needs now.." - he sighs with a low sad tone, taking his shot in one hand while the other keeps caressing your waist.

-"Hurted?" - you giggle. - "Ahh, my poor old foxie got so jealous?"

-"Mm, you know, I just like when every eye follows us, we're a perfect match, after all.." - he smirks, turning to you and taking your chin, making you look up at him. - "But I'm kinda jealous that so many guys are piercing only at you, bunny.. Come on, give your 'old foxie' a little kiss so the one who would be jealous is them~"

PICTURE SHOW: I loved the contrast of Bonnie’s dream to be a Clara Bow-style It girl, and Clyde wanting to kill everyone lol. Bonnie wants fame and Clyde wants money, because neither of them grew up with that — so what I get from that is that they want all that they don’t have, the opposite life that they have as kids. I LOOOOVED the bit where young Clyde turned into adult Clyde before his sentencing, and he’s so disillusioned and thinks people will look up to him (which is also Bonnie’s dream). They both just want recognition, but Bonnie thinks that heroism is the way, and Clyde thinks infamy is the way to go.

THIS WORLD WILL REMEMBER ME: Clyde literally has the worst idols in the world. He’s got the worst possible way of being remembered — dude why. But he’s so nice to Bonnie and describing her future, awwww. The GROWL in “there’s no plan b” LORDDDD

YOU’RE GOING BACK TO JAIL: Christians omg. But why is Buck SO surprised that Blanche wants him to go back to jail?! He’s literally shocked like mate you’re an outlaw?! What did he expect lol. HOW BOUT A DANCE: I loveee the tune even at the very beginning lol. her voiceeee. I love the flirty tone to Bonnie, she is very Clara Bow!! The bit after “you look so handsome” OMG THE SWELL HOW GORGEOUS I LOVE THIS SONG. It has a vaguely Christmassy vibe for some reason? Maybe in her soft vibrato? I love the way her voice absolutely soars. God I hope she gets her dream, she’s so lovely. OH the key change on the last “and you may lose your heart” wowwww

WHEN I DRIVE: damn the intro bass line was sick. I love how well Jeremy’s voice work’s for Clyde. They’re such Texas men lol. I LOVE that chorus, it’s so rousing!! “Just hold your nerve” EXCUSE ME SIR DOES YOUR VOICE HAVE TO DO THAT?? they really do think they’re heroes, and it kinda makes me sad, because this should not be how they wanna live and wanna die.

GOD’S ARMS ARE ALWAYS OPEN: the church music my god. Not gonna lie, im just letting it wash over me and not focusing much, because it reminds me of mass as a kid haha and it’s a hymn so it’s got the same message. OH WOAH and then the dude started with the different kind of song and THATS COOL HUH!! I do like the chorus element to it, cause it’s not so churchy anymore but it’s got that bit of church-plus-theatre sound!! Love the drums and the call-and response at 2/3 of the way through. STOP SHOOTING AND STEALING SHIT. GOD AINT GONNA TAKE YOU BACK ANYMORE BUDDY. That amen was fun hahaha!!

YOU CAN DO BETTER THAN HIM: okay except she’s describing the exact life Bonnie wants? Does he think she wants to settle for marriage and children and a mediocre life when she’s very vocal about her dreams?? Dude shut up you’ll never love her like Clyde loves her oml be quiet. Okay and bro is bribing her with his money and connections? What a dick. Oh but Clyde knowsssss that he’s the man for her. “there’s so many that could love you like I do” MAKE ME CRY WHY DONTCHA?? it has a very Wicked-esque ending tune

YOU LOVE WHO YOU LOVE: omgggg how sweet is Bonnie about him?? I feel like this is the moment she realises that even though she tried to change Clyde in the past, she now accepts him as he is and he’s the only one for her, she’s realising that she’ll love him unconditionally forever. “Maybe thats what made you love him all along” okay sTOP making me sob???? She’s following her heart awww. Common sense doesn’t know what love is!!!! I think I love Bonnie’s songs the best :D

RAISE A LITTLE HELL: OOOHHH it’s starts so wild-west-bar vibe. Loooove the bluesy tang. “Crooked god” the WORDS woahhhh. I love the lyrics to this, and Jeremy’s voice is so perfectly suited to Clyde’s songs, it’s crazy. “Ive been broken by the devil … I wont get to heaven, why not raise a little hell” HE KNOWS WHERE HE STANDS AND IS SO FINE WITH IT. BROOOO THAT GUITARRRR. The second verse is so vibey!! His voice breaks make me feel faint lol. And baby you can raise all the hell you want, Bonnie’s always gonna be your piece of heaven *swoons* anyway I feel like hes about to do something dumb

THIS WORLD WILL REMEMBER US: oh god the title makes me KNOW hes about to do something dumb. Ohhh Clyde this is not the life you need babyyyy. FOR THE LAST TIME, YOU DONT WANT TO BE AL CAPONE. “Bye baby” took me OUT, and then the pace changeeeee!! Ohhh but Bonnie wants to stop the crime so she can be famous. “When Hollywood gets hold of you they’ll be saying ‘Clara who?’” HE’S SO SUPPORTIVE I LOVE HIM (even though he is the king of bad choices) :D I love their harmony in the last “remember us”, how bright and loud is it?? Woah

MADE IN AMERICA: this is kinda cool, actually. This guy gets lots of ensemble backup in his songs, huh? I do like the interesting portrayal of poverty though. And the strings are fabulous, as well as the slower bit that speeds up; I love it when songs do that!!

TOO LATE TO TURN BACK NOW: run Bonnie runnnn girl!! Oh wait what’s he done?? OH HE SHOT PEOPLE. Ohhh my god Clyde is literally a silly silly dude, he has no regrets. I like that Bonnie says its not too late and Clyde says it is, it’s a nice contrast of their characters!! And the bit where Bonnie’s singing at the start of verse two with no instruments is musically very cool. I love how clean it is lol. “But I meant what I said” was HELLA COOL. Clyde begging for her smile, stooooppppp!!! Aww and he’s validating her emotions … but he’s also a criminal … and Bonnie wants to leave … but she loves him … ouuughhh the conflict … and then the agreement to stay together!! Bonnie why must you always listen to himmmm??? But the lyric about making the headline but not knowing how is a little funny haha

THAT’S WHAT YOU CALL A DREAM: you probably know this, but I’ve worked as a stage manager for years and one of my best friends is a lighting designer; this song gives so many amazing set/lighting/blocking opportunities. I hope the directors and teach team really took advantage of such an amazing song for the actual stage show, because it could look INCREDIBLE on stage!! I do really love the song too.

WHAT WAS GOOD ENOUGH FOR YOU: this also with the very cool onstage opportunities!! It has such a slow, jaunty beat and tune, and you can absolutely run with that sort of music. The choreography BETTER do this song justice!! I also LOVE the messaging, about having to reject your parents’ dreams and refuse to settle for less than the big, bright lives they want. “Babe, the meek don’t inherent a thing” GOT ME. BRO. And the chills I got when they actually sang “Bonnie and Clyde”, OH my god, that harmony, that belt, I LOVE THIS MUSICAL I NEED TO SEE IT LIVE

BONNIE: back to his country roots, lol. “I must be in love or else I’m going mad” and the LAUGH, SHOOT ME ALREADY!! ohhh and I love the callback to When I Drive, saying that driving used to make him feel alive but now Bonnie does *sobs* “my Bonnie” takes me out by the way. It’s kinda cute and sweet that he says “making love to” instead of something cruder or more vulgar, because his character seems so rough, and to change just that little bit when it comes to Bonnie is so symbolic

RAISE A LITTLE HELL (REPRISE): once again, absolutely wicked tune. Jeremy’s growling drawl is just amazing. But my dude they really just don’t learn, do they?? ALSO FUCK OFF, BONNIE LOVES CLYDE AND NOT YOUUUU. oh my god STOP. WITH. THE. AL. CAPONE. wooooaaahhhh the harmony on the last “let’s raise a little hell” is CRAZY, and the ending tune is such a theatre vibe!!

DYIN AINT SO BAD: why am I crying with just the first few lines? Her voice is so beautiful for this. This song has much more of a theatre-y feel than a lot of the others. “I hope to god that I go first” is soooo reallll. Aww god I love how devoted she is to Clyde, and how she’s resigned to the fact that no matter what happens, even if she doesn’t get that dream she’s always searched for, it’s worth it for him. “a short and loving life” *sobs* The swell of music for the second verse is lovely. “I’d rather breathe in life than dusty air” KILLED ME, I UNDERSTAND WHY IT’S YOUR BANNER, THAT ABSOLUTELY *SOARING* BELT FROM BONNIE?! WIFE?! and the way it softens after it … so beautiful. I think this song might be my favourite.

DYIN AINT SO BAD (REPRISE): “it’s death for Bonnie and Clyde” noooooo don’t say thatttttt!! But god is this version beautiful, and the soft harmony with “not if we both go together” killed me. I am dead, I have died. This is so sad because they’re romanticising this life, but it’s so upsetting what they’re actually dooming themselves to. Laura laughing sadly towards the end … god the stylistic choices are so well-fitting

HOW BOUT A DANCE (REPRISE): there are a lot of reprises in this musical. This is such set change music, lol, I hope the choreography was really swinging and suited to the tune. Damnnn girl really held that line, huh? Why is the last twenty seconds totally silent?

THIS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE: oh godddd I can’t believe this is the last song. “Some little time” that note had me on the FLOOR. I love the contrast between their voices here. Clyde’s rough and low, Bonnie’s sweet and high. “Don’t worry, let’s take it slow, babe” — the climbing of the notes was lovely!! “I told you being with you is enough” is the whole meaning of the show, and I’m so glad they actually said it *cries*. That last piano trill made me SO suddenly uncomfortable and anxious I have no idea why, but it was such a lovely song that the chaotic piano ending didn’t match right … does it purposefully put you at unease or is that just a me thing??

PICTURE SHOW: YES literally just the contrast between the 2 of them growing up, and I think it says a lot how they both grew up with big dreams. And the thing is too, is that the setting is both of them growing up poor in like small town Texas, so really both of them are just kids with big hopes for the future. And I love how it goes through the years with them growing up !!! AND NO LITERALLY that part where Clyde says 'I wanna be the guy kids up too' sticks out to me as well. Like. Clyde why are you like this 😭 AND ALSO, I think it says a lot about Clyde's character too with how he is like that with the guns and all because he thinks it's fun and enjoys it. Growing up poor, he very much *could* have been someone wo was doing robberies etc... to provide for his family, left with no other choice. But this song makes it very clear that that is Not The Case. And the contrast from the intro with their deaths right into young Bonnie's innocent song about wanting to be like Clara Bow is just. Perfection.

THIS WORLD WILL REMEMBER ME: "Clyde literally has the worst idols in the world." LMAO but *true*. I like how when he starts singing about Bonnie's future he's like. He just met her, but instantly sees the same drive and ambition in her that he has and I think that's part of what drew him to her, rather than him just forgetting about her after parting from that first meeting. Like, he sees a bit of himself in her, almost (?)

YOU’RE GOING BACK TO JAIL: THIS SONG IS SO FUNNY I LOVE IT. Like the women are like. 'Actually we *love* that our loser husbands are locked away what are you talking about' Personally, I'm a fan of 'thank you Jesus, twice' 😂

HOW BOUT A DANCE:I knowwwww this song is like. The centre of the show, with the way it is at the very beginning and end, and plays at the pivotal moments. And the instrumentals is so beautiful!!! You mentioned the flirty tone, so i will mention that she is actually singing this to clyde in the musical; like I forget the word for it but like, it's actually her singing to him, not just because it is a musical. Like. I fully believe this song is the moment ehen bonnie fell in love with, meaning that drom this point, everything that followed was inevitable. My poor heart 😭Personally, I prefer the version of this song with Frances Mayli McCann (I think you listened to the original?)

GOD’S ARMS ARE ALWAYS OPEN: No like I literally love how this song starts being all about forgiveness and church like, and then by the end it's just clyde commiting more crimes before getting arrested 😂😭

YOU CAN DO BETTER THAN HIM: YOU UNDERSTAND ME WITH THIS SONG. When did bonnie EVER say she wanted the things Ted is singing about??? That's right. *Never*. I guarantee I have at least 2 posts floating around this website where I fully rant about this. Like, it's so clear that Ted sees Bonnie as the idea of her that he has in his head, rather than the person who is actually in front of them. And I feel like it has to do with it being like the 1930s small town as well, that even if she is vocal about her dreams to go to hollywood, people would react with the attitude of like. She'll settle down once she gets married, and no one takes her seriously. But CLYDE took her seriously, and fully sees that side of her. While Ted just sees what he wants to see. And in the later song, he has the line 'all I want to do is save her' BUT SHE DOESN'T NEED SAVING, TED. YOU ARE NOT HER HERO IN THIS STORY. STOP.

YOU LOVE WHO YOU LOVE: I literally love this song so much, and there are so many nice lines in it, I feel like

RAISE A LITTLE HELL: LITERALLY, the lyrics here are so good, and through the whole thing you can just feel the desperation coming from him. Like he *literally* has nothing left to lose. But like, you're right that he's about to do something at the end lol because this song ends with him killing another prisoner who was abusing him

THIS WORLD WILL REMEMBER US: BUT HE *DOES* WANT TO BE AL CAPONE. BECASE THE WAY HE SEES IT, AL CAPONE IS NOT TRAPPED IN A DEAD END LIFE, AND HE TOO IS GOING TO MAKE SOMETHING OF HIMSELF. I *love,* the bye baby, see you soon sugar exchange between them right before he breaks out !! And he promises her they will stop the crimes but does he really believe that he will?? Are the empty promises?? Does he even *know* if he means it genuinely??? And the ENDING of the song... they are out there living their best lives and like. YES.

TOO LATE TO TURN BACK NOW: This one is so good !!!! I love how just in general, Bonnie is so sure of herself and what she thinks about things, standing her ground. But it really is because she loves him too much to leave and like. AAAAAAA. And YESSS there are so many things that are mentioned that eventually *do* come true but just not in the way intended it's so fun. Also, I am LIVING for your phrase 'Clyde is literally a silly silly dude' LMAO

THAT’S WHAT YOU CALL A DREAM: This song was never one of my favourites so it has not occupied too much brain space to how it was done onstage, but it has grown on me. Basically just from realizing it is a complete contrast to dying ain't so bad. Like how bonnie and Blanche have their own songs about how one wants a long, easy, normal life, and the other just wants to really live, and it's ok if it's just for a short while. And one thing that sticks out to me is that both songs mention a rocking chair, with Blanche saying she wants like the typical front porch setting for her and Buck while they grow old, and bonnie saying she doesn't need one at all. BUT ALSO, despite their differing personalities and views here, they still share the song You Love Who You Love with the exact same sentiment, of why they fell in love with such similar guys.

(Also, I didn't actually know that, that's so cool!)

WHAT WAS GOOD ENOUGH FOR YOU: YES to the whole thing about them saying they want different lives that their parents had, and the easy path that was set out for them. And also taking the setting into consideration, like 1930s depression era like. Honestly what else was there for them? What other choice did they have if they wanted to set out an achieve something other than their regular, mundane lives? And like in the song Made In America with the line Who can blame them, not their fault they turn to crime like. Yeah? But maybe their parents, in turn, wanted more when they were young too but just settled for what they got in life. But both bonnie and clyde completely rejecting that and saying that's not good enough for me???? You know????

BONNIE: What I love most about this song, is the little bickering there is between them at the beginning with Bonnie interrupting his song. They are so cute <3. And I love how this is actually a callback to an earlier scene where Bonnie is reading a poem she wrote, and clyde keeps interrupting her, exact same as here but roles reversed. And I didn't know about that scene until I saw it live and when that happened I was like !!! because I knew this was coming up later and made the Connection in my mind lmao. Also, Clyde is supposed to be in the bathtub during this song which I think is really funny because just like. Why lmao

RAISE A LITTLE HELL (REPRISE): I LOVE the reprise here. Things are about to get INTENSE with Clyde and Buck paired up again. And then Ted just jumps in trying to be the sympathetic hero and like. Can you perhaps not. YEAHHH the ending note of the song is literally so powerful

DYIN AINT SO BAD: You literally said it all; this song is so tragic and beautiful. On one hand I completely get what she is saying with how she just wants to have really lived, but also knowing how she is so young but basically accepted her death is so sad. Like, she should be able to live and *still* have her whole life ahead of her. ALSO PLEASE KNOW THAT I'D RATHER BREATHE IN LIFE THAN DUSTY AIR IS ALSO MY PHONE'S LOCK SCREEN FOR LIKE 6 MONTHS NOW

I was wondering what’s something the person the boys are interested in could do to make them fold or show genuine interest in them?

Im still around. Still invested in 4town. Still think about them daily lol

But truthfully i’ve moved on from the fboy 4town thing, it was originally just a bad joke that i kept writing for cause it kept getting traction & i liked the attention. i was having fun with it at the time, but now its just kinda goofy & feels a little awkward. I made them too sympathetic originally lol, but this is the first writing request ive had in such a long time. I really don’t mind doing it.

Just know this is the last time ill probably ever write for fboy town, it’ll be kept short too^^ Maybe ill go back & revisit those designs i made for them & repurpose it, maybe not!

Oh also, the genuine answer for this is that most of them WOULDNT get genuinely invested. Because they’re all emotionally fucked over guys who need therapy lol. But these headcanons humor the idea that they’d genuinely change

- genuinely? he’s attracted to independence

- Like its a little silly & a little cliche but Robaire is kind of only genuinely invested in people who give 0 shits about him. He’s not used to someone not caring about his status, money, or power. But when a person is independent & confident in themself, when they mind their own business and simply dont fucking perceive him as some sort of idol- he thinks its hot

- It drives him crazy though. He likes the worship and praise. Even if his friends are faux and he knows it, he likes feeling wanted and desired. And when someone doesn’t inherently just want him, he wants them even more

- So even if you DO want him, the best way to genuinely win him over is to treat him like a normal person. He doesn’t realize he wants to be treated like a peer or be seen as just a person & not an asset- but he does. He’ll be unbearable & act cocky while he interacts with you, but the more you treat him like just a normal person? The more of a person he actually starts to become 💀

- Any specific actions that would affect him are probably just like… engaging with him on your own terms or showing interest in what he ACTUALLY likes to do.

- A lot of people dont actually know what Robaires interests are so he’s really unengaged socially in that regard. He’s a closet geek though, get him talking about his interests or show investment in his interests like a genuine friend & youll start to win him over in a genuine way

- Jesse doesn’t show much tenderness, but he’s very attracted to it

- He’s got a habit of breaking hearts & having multiple people wrapped around his finger at once. Because Jesse’s kind of genuinely incapable of being tender in a way thats meaningful with someone (aside from his kids & the guys), he’s really lacking in any true emotional intimacy

- He’s very VERY alone in that sense.

- His heart’s been broken in a very honest and true way so he’s kind of given up on finding that intimacy too. Its sad & sucks lol. But because of that struggle he has a much more genuine attraction to tenderness

- To win him over with tenderness, showing politeness or interest without expecting romance or sex wins him over, denying either from him makes him go wild. Jesse’s generally wanted because he’s attractive & suave, but if someone sees him as a person outside of that then he’s really into it. Honest to the gods he just wants a friend. - Short and simply put: Tae Young gets bored of people easy 💀. He needs someone who 1. Can keep him on his toes and 2. Challenge his personal sense of authority. A dominant & passionate person is PERFECT for that. Having someone who can spontaneously do something on their own & then proudly show it off is just what Tae needs in his life

- He thinks spontaneity is attractive and he loves a dominant personality to try and stand up against. A friendly sense of competition with someone, someone he can perceive as a peer or “on his level” is someone he’s wildly attracted to. And trust me, he WILL try to challenge your dominance and authority if you’re that kind of person. So dont step down, snap back at him! He loves it, it keeps him excited

- The harsh truth is that Tae simply isn’t genuinely engaged with most interactions he has because he has such a hard time connecting with people in a meaningful way. He likes being popular cause it keeps things constantly moving in his life & gives him opportunities to find brief engagement

- So just,, he needs someone who can do that. He’ll become genuinely attached to them, and then eventually find everything they do interesting

- Aaron T needs someone to calm him the fuck down. He doesnt want it per say, but he NEEDS it

- Aaron T is, for lack of better words, a bit too much. He’s got all the friends, all the ego, and all the charisma to combine and make the dumbest but most charming motherfucker you’ll ever meet. He’s not stupid, just dumb. And he does dumb shit for the sake of fun & enjoyment. He needs someone who can keep up with him & either catch him when he falls or stop him from doing the dumb thing to begin with

- Being that kind of person isn’t easy, keeping up with T & being close enough to him to read him is hard. But when you’re close enough to do that? Well gosh, you probably already have him hooked

- T wont ever admit it, but he so so badly wants someone to care about him enough to tell him no. Its weird, because he hates it and Will usually just do what he wants, but theres a certain comfort he finds in knowing someone wants him safe and sound

- And the longer someone can keep up with him the more T will start to wind down & relax. He’s still dumb & stubborn as all hell, but he’ll listen to whoever cares enough to try and watch out for him where most others dont.

- Specific actions that may really win him over are being there to patch him up after a stupid stunt or literally blocking his way to keep him from going somewhere. He’ll be pissy in the moment, but hours later he’ll be so much more tender in private if given the opportunity

Aaron Z

- honest to god this man is easy & the least problematic. But Z both wants & needs someone who’s patient & understanding

- He’s simply not someone who believes in settling down anymore + he’s in a part of his life where a lot is changing and evolving. He wants someone to rely on, but he NEEDS room to grow and have spontaneity. He cant do commitment right now and when things start to feel too tense he flees from the relationship (romantic or not, he’s even flighty with his friends sometimes)

- So Z really flourishes with someone who can be there for him without “tying him down”. He wants freedom and he’s very attracted to people who offer the attention he wants from relationships while also being patient enough to let him explore. He needs someone who wont nag him about expressing his genuine feelings because honestly they aren’t always pretty but he’s not going to move forward without getting to express them.

- So to really win him over, someone needs to be able to listen to him even when he’s not verbally speaking. He needs his freedom but he needs a stable person to return to at the end of the day (starting as friends or not, its not easy to fill this role)

- Specific actions to win him over arent easy. But quality time based on things HE may want to do (but be too shy to always directly request) is good. Or just offering him quality time to unwind & relax with may help

- He starts to open up more and more as time goes on. He’ll become more emotionally available the safer he feels with someone who offers him room to grow without judgement
