#good grief im gettin a lil tired of seeing 'DONT DO THIS' kinda art videos #i very much understand its a youtube thing and that clickbait names and thumbs get the views and attention needed #but it doesnt mean it doesnt annoy me or that I cant be annoyed by it #sometimes i just see it in tutorial pictures too #but the large DONTS with red Xs near the supposed ''wrong'' way of drawing is so demotivating #people start and draw in many ways than one #its what makes art their own #but when videos or tutorial posts are made and show the ''WRONG'' way to go about it #its like scolding the new artist or long time artist with that style that they're doing it wrong and that its bad #no matter the intention its not the way to go about helping artists learn to draw #and in my personal opinion #the click bait ''DONT DO THIS WHEN DRAWING'' thing is what keeps me from actually watching the vids #i get theyre probably helpful but i don't like that I have to feel some NEED or DESIRE to click on a vid cause I feel like I did a thing #wrong or that i never should have done it at all #i wish i could see more 'here are some tips that helped me #kinda vids cause yes i would love to learn what helped you rather than being or feeling wronged for drawing in a way that isn't theirs #im rambling but i have been seeing a lot of 'DONT DO THIS' NEVER DO THIS' 'IF YOURE DOING THIS STOP NOW' kinda art vids #im speakin for myself here #but im an artist sifting through art youtube or spaces always willing to learn new ways of improving my art #i dont need to feel click baited like the next 3am don't this kid to learn how to improve my inking skills #if it was more a 'this is my personal preference and I wanna share it with my audience and maybe teach some things' kinda vid #id watch that too #but im just so tired of seeing art youtube going down this need to tell folks 'YOURE DOING IT ALL WRONG. hey this is not a neo list or anything but can we all agree that the aesthetic x-themed neoprn lists (and posts like it) are super duper pretty!!!!! like i like the images and the cute symbols. i cant read them without my brain hurting tho. which is sad cause all of the neos are super cute and quite delightful!!

What music does your character like? Can you think of IRL singers/bands that your character might listen to if they were transported to Eorzea? Would they have a favourite song?

Oh gosh uhm, well I know for SURE Hachiko would listen to a LOOOTT of J-Pop maybe some J-Rock, probably some K-Pop and K-Rock if that's a thing... haven't heard of any K-Rockers. She'd also listen to Japanese Folk music for sure. That'd probably be her favorite honestly. Hmm... favorite sonnnggg, gosh I unno. I don't really know any Japanese Folk songs but one of those would probably be her fave. OH WAIT! Maybe Deep Forest by Do As Infinity.

Yayashi would probably listen to Cottagecore music? I'm not sure what would constitute as Cottagecore music but yeah. I learned about Cottagecore music from the Sims 4 XD Erm... her favorite song would probably be... hmm... probably Cardigan by Tyler Swift or uhm... Livewire by Oh Wonder.

Ilar would listen to whatever he finds appealing to his ears honestly. MAYBE a bit of Metal here and there. I think his favorite song would be Alkaline and or Granite by Sleep Token.

Sophia would like easy-listening music. Not sure what her favorite song would be though. It'd probably be a song that makes her fall asleep but not really a lullaby.

Saechen's would be rock music. Hmmm her favorite song would probably be... uhhh... Breaking the Habit by LInkin Park. Not sure if that counts as rock music tho. XD

Tonemi's would be I guess Bollywood music? Or just REALLY energetic music POSSIBLY Dubstep. I feel like she'd LOVE Dubstep and end up being a rave girl and take Raha with her. Hmm... I don't know very many Dubstep songs tho and there was this really pretty India song I heard that she'd probably love but I can't remember the name now... it's been forever since I saw the video.

Khulgana would prolly prefer folk music in general. Mmm her fave music would probably be throat singers and people who do this and uhm.... probably Celtic Women. There's this one Celtic Women song she'd probably love but I cannot remember the name.... I think it's called I am the Voice? Or has that as a line?

had to get my teeth drilled but i found a Sony CCD-M8u w/ its case and owner's manual on the way home

#its missing a bunch of things like the battery. the charger. the mic. and some cables and we aren't even sure if it works to begin with #but boy if we can get this working we'll sure be having a lot of fun with it cause we've been talking about movies recently #and by teeth drilled i just meant getting cavities filled. the numbing shots are wearing off so i'm starting to feel the injection sites xS #let me know what to tag that as if anyone needs that tagged
