Yelling

A small Mikey rant

They were yelling again.

Mikey didn't even know what it was about this time. He just knew that Raph was mad and Leo was mad and no one was stepping in to pry them apart.

Mikey used to.

He used to step in and diffuse the situation. And if that wasn't enough, he'd start to cry. That used to do something.

Because when he cried, his brothers would stop their fighting and calm him down. Then they'd sheepishly realize things had gotten out of hand and apologize.

But that was a long time ago.

Leo and Raph didn't seem to care about Mikey's tears anymore.

They screamed over his sobbing. They shouted over his pleading. Raph's eyes, sparking with red, didn't see Mikey's eyes sparkling with tears. Leo's twisted mouth spouted harsh words that squeezed Mikey's heart.

"--NOT WHAT I SAID, LEO!"

Mikey whimpered, curling into himself. His brand new subway car room was nowhere near thick enough to block out the sound. Did they have to argue in the most open part of the Lair?

They shouldn't be yelling like this. It was stupid. It was always stupid. And they didn't seem to see just how stupid it was.

I'm replaying JfA and I gotta say its very valid of this 8 year old to be currently in a phase of making shipping her cousin with her boss her entire personality. Extremely annoying, but in a way where it's like. Yeah. Good writing. Pearls' mom just went to prison and she's discovering an entire world outside of the village she was raised in as in she didn't know what a train was, but damn if saying "special someone" isn't more fun than thinking about any of that.

(in other replaying JfA news, it looks like Franziska does vaguely want to keep her perfect record... and has canned phrases to go with it... she just forgets that she wants that when a trial goes beyond her expectations and starts revealing new info. And then after feeding the defense lines and staying quiet for the entire final questioning other than that she catches up to what just happened and freaks the fuck out. Mood, girl)

what exactly happened with John swan. I remember the name but not anything that happened with him 😭

oh god get ready for some lore. So basically it all started with John Swan making some video I think minecraft related? (never saw it though idk if it’s even there or if it’s lost media) and he got Dream to be a part of it. So they had each other on discord. John used the fact to convince some other small youtuber guy he can get Dream to dm him. Then he and his friend used it to troll that guy. The troll included some weird shit like the fake Dream saying the n word and stuff. Then John Swan made some neg comment about Dream somewhere and it got posted on reddit and Dream responded saying this

John went to cry about it on twitter how Dream is slandering him and ruining his credibility blah blah blah and explained himself that the fake discord was actually his cousin or something like that. Obviously Dream wasn’t buying that bs but the whole internet was and was after Dream. Dream made his detective dream stream pointing out why the story doesn’t make sense. The story ended with Nicholas De orio who used to be Johns friend and was at his side at the beginning and after Dream, recording their discord call where he confronted John saying he knows he is lying after talking more with Dream and John at some point admits to it all and Nicholas posted that to twitter and Johns career died
