Chaeyoung: she's just a cool chick. Really chill, really outgoing and open minded. Doesn't let a lot of negativity get to her, thinks outside the box and is okay being different from others. She gives valley girl vibes

Mina: She has her mental issues, but something about her seems confident (she has the duality of being unsure/reserved and being confident/assertive). I think she's low-key a big flirt and more easygoing than she seems

Sana: I just like her. She's also a big flirt, type of person to know what it takes to get what she wants. Not afraid to put herself out there or garner attention. Although I do feel like she's the type to be really scary when upset. I doubt she gets angry easily but when she does, you don't want to mess with her

Dahyun: she seems very reserved, conservative , and a perfectionist. She could be quite the overthinker, constantly second-guessing herself. But she does give very motherly, kind vibes to me. Type of person to get enjoyment for caring for others, like a mom smiling at her babies while they eat her cooking . Definitely wifey material

Jihyo: she has a lot of insecurities and may get into relationships with men that don't treat her right. Idky I feel like she's the most likely to settle down with a guy she supports financially/emotionally/mentally. The other girls give off "rich men only" tease(besides Dahyun and her), but she may settle for less than she deserves.

Tzuyu: VERY dark energy. Quite insecure as well. She seems like she's constantly drowning in her own misery. For some reason, I get a vibe that her parents are to blame for why she is the way she is. Like a girl constantly told to not show emotion/react, don't show anything less than perfection. She reminds me of Elsa. "Conceal, don't feel."

Jeongyeon: A LOT of insecurities and dark thoughts as well. I wouldn't be surprised if she gets a lot of plastic surgery or something. Especially if she begins to lose her fame or she settles down. She does seem quite strongheaded and tough (but she may deep down get scared easily). Like someone who puts up a brave front.

Momo + Nayeon: These two give off Regina George vibes. Minus the senseless disrespect of others just for the fun of it. No. I think they both can be cruel, but for reason, even if the reason doesn't make them look good. I get very catty/shady/backstabbing energy from these two. I would say Momo's energy is a bit better than Nayeon's. Momo seems like the type to stop her behavior if she gets called out on it. While Nayeon is just who she is (I do respect how much Nayeon knows who she is, what she's about, and how to get what she wants). I think Nayeon is unapologetically her, and even if I think she's mean at times, I can't help but respect her strongmindedness.

in regards to the video of yours that Momo shared, i think owning up to the mistake and being open to be educated is the right way to handle that situation. i think as people in general, we are very fickle, and we're constantly growing and learning. at any age, even late in our lives, it's just very human of us to make mistakes and learn from those moments.

this goes for juli as well. coming from a queer person, as long as juli is open to educating herself and not repeating offences, i don't have a problem forgiving and forgetting. obviously i don't speak for the entire queer community, but i think allowing people to learn from past mistakes is the appropriate response.

the fact Momo even looked for something to discredit you, is very telling. the video she found had less than fifty views and was from ten years ago. Momo didn't post that video with kindness and trying to stand with native people. she posted it to just one up you and have her little "gotcha" moment. it's a very chronically online thing to do. just looking for ammo to win an online war, even if it means using material that harms the people we're trying to stick up for. i've seen this behaviour a shocking amount of times in the kpop community, and it never made sense to me.

in regards to Momo trying to reclaim the f slur, i don't really see a problem with it. the thing with cis, het homophobes is that they don't care if you're a man or not. that word is thrown and attached to any and all queer people, regardless of gender. it's also a word used in a lot of queer spaces very positively, openly along with the d slur. it helps change the connotations surrounding the slurs. younger people might not know that because they haven't been in many queer spaces unless it's online, but that's been my experiences. obviously everyone is entitled to their own beliefs and feelings. queer people are still allowed to be uncomfortable with the usage of the words, no matter who they come from, it can be very jarring word choice. even i myself chose to abstain from using that verbiage.

(just to slide this in because I've been wanting to say this for sometime.) everyone on both sides of this drama, are all gorgeous people. please, let's stop tearing each other down based on physical appearance. it's such a man thing to do. to equate women's worth with physical attractiveness is so deplorable, and i hate seeing women mirror that behaviour. everyone, on all sides of this, are beautiful, smart women. you may not like each other, but i think we can all agree on this.

Hello Polynya! I wonder if you ever had a thought about this. Is there any interactions between Bleach chatacters that never been happened before that you're lowkey want to see so much? I mean, like the interaction that you think impossible to see since they literally have nothing to discuss lol. I'll share mine : 1) Ichigo - Isane (umm..they had an 'interaction' in SS arc. Yeah, Ichigo punched my girl Isane till she's collapsed 😭 But I'm hoping to see a better interaction between them in the future), 2) Orihime and Sternritter Girls (I'm kinda sure she and Meninas would get along well lol), 3) Byakuya - Uryuu (yeah they never interacted). I'd like to know yours!

I'm sorry, this is a thing that is utterly unappealing to me. The primary interest I have in characters is in their relationships with one another, in the heart born between them, so to speak. I respect the right of people who enjoy crackships, but I only enjoy them if there is an interesting narrative that brings them together. I tend to follow the entire Bleach tag on ao3, and I will often click on a fanfic that has a really wild pairing, just because I'm extremely curious as to how the author has come up with this, and in almost every case, it's just established relationship with no explanation whatsoever and I say, "Ah, this is not For Me," and gently hit "back."

I often desire to see two characters interact who are one step apart from one another and yet have never met--I would love a ChadIshi story where Uryuu somehow got to meet Chad's abuelo, for example. I enjoy writing Byakuya interacting with Matsumoto, because they're the most different people imaginable (aside from both being 10s), but they are both very fond of Hitsugaya. I spent several years obsessing about the parallels between Renji and Soujun (Byakuya's dad), before I finally found an excuse to write them in a fic together.

I guess I am also interested in characters who would have a good dynamic together. I accidentally wrote Byakuya and Yumichika interacting once, because it fit the story, and the result was one of the most delightful bits of dry, catty banter I have ever written. I also have a perverse love for Renji and Unohana interactions, primarily because he takes her ikebana class, but then I wrote an AU where he got (unwillingly) transferred to Squad 4, and after I thought about it for 3 seconds, their narrative juice was off the charts-- he just wants to heal his broken heart by learning to stab people, and he's just fallen into the hands of a captain whose special interests are both healing and stabbing. I got attached to Akon at some point, because I find him very relatable. I thought he and Rukia would get along together, so I slow-roll integrated him into my extremely long Renruki series, and now I stick him in lieutenant gatherings all the time. I do kind of crack-ship Hinamori and Isane, post-TYBW, but it's because I like the idea of Momo helping Isane overcome the loss of her beloved captain and realizing how far she herself has come.

Maybe the closest I have ever come to desiring a no-chemistry interaction is the fact that I always want Isane and Renji to hang out because they're both tall, but @bleachbleachbleach wrote a really excellent fanfic a few weeks ago that featured the two of them, and they made such a good pair of characters that I feel entirely validated.

I'm sorry, Anon, I did my best, but "they literally have nothing to discuss" is just about the best excuse I could come up with for why I don't care at all about a particular pair of characters.

Like class 1-A and B's girls support each other, whether they're in or out of classes, and the rivalries are actually healthy. Whether they're in the same or different classes, they still support each other equally.

Toga and Magne seemed to really appreciate each other, to the point where Toga called Magne "big sis Mag".

Kendo and Momo were never mean or catty to each other, rather they wanted to give it their all, and now they're friends.

Uraraka is a little jealous of Hatsume, but still was kind and cordial to her, and grateful for the support items.

I just really like this "girls supporting girls" thing Hori has going on. I got a lot of problems with how he writes his female cast, but the friendships seem so organic, it almost makes up for it.

Mai distinguished herself from Maki in every way possible. From the way they looked to the way they thought to the way they felt.

But it was only on the days when she was most honest with herself—when no one was around but Momo—that Mai acknowledged the thin undercurrent of jealousy.

When they were younger, she could pretend it was admiration. Those times have long since passed. There is only one way she wants to be similar to Maki.

Out of everything, Mai has come to realize she is most envious of Maki’s hands.

For their whole lives, Maki’s hands have reached out, held fast, and protected whatever she considered dear. They have even dragged Mai into this new, more painful world.

Mai’s hands have failed to do anything of the sort.

“Mai Zenin?” Confusion colored Megumi’s voice despite the monotone. “I’m surprised to see you. What are you doing here?”

Orange eyes roamed over Mai’s features. “Oh, another one? They do look alike. Are they sisters?”

“Yes, they’re twins.”

They are twins. A matched set. Bound to the same station in life. Nothing pissed Mai off more than that fact; but that doesn’t mean she has to accept it aloud.

“Don’t call me a twin, Fushiguro. You make it sound as if Maki were my equal. Call me Mai.”

The wink was extra. She knew that. But sometimes, people are quicker to follow orders that come with a smile.

Working with Todo is always a drag, but it was worth it to see him send Megumi flying.

“Fushiguro!” The girl turned, no doubt in an attempt to help her friend, but Mai held her back.

Time to do what they came here for.

“Oh, well. There goes poor Fushiguro.” Mai’s voice dripped with cattiness. “Even a talented first-grade jujutsu sorcerer is nothing more than a first-year when he’s up against the top-grade Aoi Todo. I’ll have to go and comfort him later.”

She would do no such thing, but facts are irrelevant right now. Her smug grin was met with a steely glare.

“I thought you and Maki were identical, but you’re not. Maki’s a hundred times prettier than you are.”

Mai’s eyes opened. Bringing her up again?

“Trouble sleeping? You’ve got open pores.”

Mai jabbed her revolver against the sorcerer’s stomach, leaving wrinkles in this girl's fresh tracksuit. “I’ll teach you how to speak to others.”

She’d heard whispers here and there about the wily first-year at the Tokyo school. That the girl with orange hair wasn’t the type to go down without a fight. Even so, she couldn’t withstand six rubber bullets at close range.

Mai reloaded, fully prepared to continue the attack. “If you wanna continue as a jujutsu sorcerer, you better watch who you pick a fight with.” The following laugh was interrupted by Maki’s staff lifting the gun away from her target.

Mai wasn't even surprised. Who else would show up just in time to spoil her fun?

Maki scowled. “What do you think you’re doing to our errand runner, Mai?”

Mai ignored the question. Since Maki’s clearly forgotten that they’re lowly even among the sorcerers, she’s due for a reminder. No matter how many times Mai says it, her sister never learns.

Fed up, Maki yanked the subject back on track. She turned to the girl on the floor.

“Nobara, can you stand?”

Mai found the concern in Maki’s tone incredibly obnoxious. “No way. She won’t be getting up for a while. I hurt her pretty go-”

The staff came to a stop right in front of her face. Mai jolted back an inch. It doesn’t take much to get under Maki’s skin, but this took even less time than usual.

How interesting.

Errand runner? Your lies are getting worse. She's more than that to you.

Mai glared. “What? You want to fight?”

Right before Mai could lift the gun again, Nobara pinned her arms back and dragged them both to the ground. She couldn't believe how quickly the girl had recovered.

"Nice support, Maki!"

A team effort, then.

Mai looked up, seeing Maki prepare to reach out. Her eyes narrowed.

You can't be serious. Like hell I’d let you pull me any deeper.

Overhead, Momo surveilled the skies.

Even with an execution and tournament to be concerned about, Mai sought out a branch high enough to give her a nice view of her girlfriend. Priorities.

Momo dove down among the trees, no doubt coming upon something of interest. As Mai polished her revolver, the familiar blasting sounds wrested her attention.

A fight.

But something's off. Some of these new impacts were different. Heavier. There's no way they were coming from Momo.

She scanned the forest and focused on any movement. With all the falling trees and rising dust, she had her work cut out for her.

Heart pounding, Mai clutched at her chest. Her hands shook. The prickle of tears threatened to well up, but she blinked them away. Now was not the time.

She took a deep breath in through her mouth, held it, then let it out. The grip on her revolver steadied. Her eyes refocused.

A flash of orange hair.

Maki's "errand runner."

Mai had never saved anyone before. But for Momo, everything within her screamed to make an exception. Spite flooded into Mai's hands as she pulled the trigger.

The bullet found its mark, flung Nobara away from Momo. Relief left Mai slumped back onto the tree.

"One hell of a shot."

When it was clear Nobara wasn’t getting up, Mai unlocked her phone and hit the speed dial.

“Hello? Momo?” In the brief silence that followed, she could sense Momo’s worry from a mile away. “Don’t worry, it was a rubber bullet.”

Momo’s attention was drifting, so Mai followed up with status updates to help her forget about the body lying next to her.

“You should leave that spot and support everyone from the air. We’re all in trouble without you.”

"Yeah. Mai, I..." Her tone was distant.

It coaxed a certain tenderness out of Mai. Her voice dropped to a near-whisper. "It’s all right, Momo. I know."

“Thanks.”

“What, not going to call your friends?” Maki taunted from a neighboring tree branch.

Mai's heart sank. She put her phone away, hoping Momo didn’t hear that. She’s got enough to worry about.

“I don’t mind going two-on-one.” Maki continued with a proud smirk.

“There are many ways to enjoy this, right?" Mai got to her feet. "Sure, I could have everyone beat you together, but I’m going to enjoy beating you by myself.” She aimed the revolver at her sister’s heart.

“You ought to call me ‘big sis,’ little sister.” Maki pointed back at her with Miwa’s sword.

The moment dragged on, tense as the air between them. That is, until Maki cracked a smile.

"What are you smiling about?!" Mai shouted as she let off her first shot.

Maki has a talent I don’t.

It’s a thought Mai constantly circles back to. As Maki slams the blunt end of the sword down onto Mai’s collarbone, the pain making her seize up, she can’t help but wonder.

If I’d been born with the Heavenly Restriction instead, would I be able to live in this world?

She had managed that kind of strength once—for Momo’s sake—but in the world of curses, that wouldn't be enough.

Sometimes, when faced with the life of a sorcerer, she felt that was for the best.

A bruise was forming on Momo's cheek.

Since the group battles, she'd kept the right side of her face angled away from everyone. Even now in the locker room, she tilted the bill of her baseball cap so it would cast a shadow on it.

"Let me put something on that." Mai rubbed a thumb over Momo's cheek, noting the swell.

A groan. "It might be too late."

"Don't be so dramatic."

Momo raised her eyebrows, as if to say This, coming from you?

Mai rolled her eyes and returned a brow lift of her own. Yes, from me.

She rummaged around the empty infirmary, coming back with an ice pack and a large bandage. There was no cut, but she knew Momo wanted it covered anyway.

Momo's shoulders sagged. "It'll just make things harder. If I keep taking hits like this, I'm gonna look like Uta-"

"Stop. You won't."

She tossed a firm look at Momo, denying both statements. The sentiment was true, but neither of them wanted it to be.

Momo opened her mouth, ready to disagree, before letting out a single huff. She swallowed any other complaints as Mai smoothed the bandage onto her face.

But a bit of fire lingered in her eyes.

Mai glanced toward the door. Still closed, and she didn't hear anyone outside of it. So she ran her index knuckle along Momo's smooth jaw, then lifted her chin. A silent request for honesty.

Momo pressed the ice to her cheek. She made a point not to wince at the cold.

"I was just trying to help her, and this is the thanks I get." It was exhausted frustration, not anger, in her voice.

"Mm." Mai recalled countless similar conversations she'd tried to have with Maki, and sighed. "They'll learn the hard way. Everyone does."

"Ugh, how annoying. You know what that means." Momo scrunched her nose. "Those two were made for each other."

Mai gagged.

The trip back to Kyoto was bound to be dreadful, made all the more unpleasant with defeats like this year’s hanging over the students.

After only a little begging, Utahime granted Mai permission to share Momo’s broomstick so long as they stayed within sight of the train windows.

Momo's eyes held gratitude and a hint of sorrow as she watched Utahime board the train, but the latter evaporated once Mai returned to her.

Momo slid forward to make room for Mai. Right before she lifted off, Mai wrapped both arms around her tiny waist.

Soaring above everything, Mai observed all the rail lines snaking their way through the city. She always did prefer the view at night.

“Hey, Mai?”

“Hm?”

“How’re you holding up?”

“Ha! Next question.”

“Fine. Are you okay?”

“I’ll be better when we get to the cabin.”

“Inviting yourself again, are you?” Momo grinned.

“You invited me first. Shouldn’t have done that if you didn’t want me hanging around.” She planted a kiss on the back of Momo’s neck. “I’ll make you work to get rid of me.”

Momo shivered. Whether from the cold or the kiss was anyone’s guess. Mai bet it was the kiss.

Momo let out a sigh. “Come on. You say that every day. By now, you should know I’d never do that to you.”

Okay, but I still shouldn't get my hopes up. “Whatever you say.”

“I mean it.” Momo said earnestly, turning her head to catch Mai's eye. “If I didn’t, why are you the only one who knows I even have a cabin in the first place?”

Mai blinked. “I...”

“Thought so.” Momo proudly lifted her nose toward the sky. “You can stop doubting me now.”

Mai rested her chin on Momo's shoulder, and chuckled.

So, no one would ever expect the inside to be so full of life.

Deep in the woods, far deeper than anyone would choose to trek on foot, was the cabin. The outside still looked abandoned, as worn down as the day Momo found it. With its missing shingles, weathered paint job, and splintered, creaky stairs, it didn't get any less inviting than this.

Most of the interior included some shade of green, gold, silver, or black. It made the small home feel all the larger. There was hardly room for anything but the essentials. Everything fit into two spaces that could loosely be referred to as a living room and kitchen.

In terms of furniture, there was a plush gray couch, fireplace, and wooden table. A second chair was the most recent addition.

Just past that, glass jars kept the shelves stocked with all kinds of ingredients and spices. Various bottles lined the windowsills, each growing a different herb. There was a gas stove with skillets and pots hanging above it. Sitting on the largest burner was a medium-sized cauldron.

Mai left her shoes at the door and flopped onto the couch. This was the most exhausting weekend she’d had in a while. It brought on a familiar migraine. Rolling over, she reached up to rub her temples.

In the kitchen, Momo hummed a melody to herself. Delighted, Mai watched her as she worked. Momo flew up to the top shelf, uncorked a few jars, and dropped the herbs into a mortar and pestle. Mai didn’t know all the ingredients by heart, but she recognized some of them by smell.

Anise, horehound, mullein.

Momo hands mixed, strained, brewed. Mai’s eyes slipped closed, the movement and song working their magic.

Before long, there was a poke to her forehead. She cracked an eye open to see Momo holding two drinks, a lopsided smile on her lips. Mai lifted herself up to make room, resting her shoulder on Momo’s once she sat down.

“For the headache.” Momo handed a cup to Mai.

“Thanks.” Mai's heart swelled at the gesture.

Peering into the mug, the potion was thick, brown, and had a gold luster to it. It tasted of licorice and tart fruit. She found the warmth immediately soothing.

After washing and leaving the mugs on the drying rack, Mai got to do one her favorite things: lay her head on Momo’s lap.

Momo ran her fingertips along Mai's hair, the gentle scalp massage relaxing her further. "If you don't wanna tell me what’s wrong, you can go yell in the woods. That's what I do."

Mai looked up. "Is that okay?"

Momo shrugged. "If there's no one around to tell you it's wrong, it's okay. And we can say it's fine."

“Maybe some other time.”

Momo nodded, and went back to stroking Mai's hair.

She'd never felt more grateful to not be rushed. Mai has told Momo a great many things in confidence, but what weighed on her now would take time. If it ever made it past her lips, it'd either be a miracle or a final bout of willfulness.

Everything she's come to enjoy about being with Momo is utterly new to her. The patience, the care, the concern.

There was no love or mercy among the Zenin clan. Even so, Mai had spent two years wanting to go back. It wasn't safe, only familiar. There, she knew where everyone stood.

According to them, all she can do is hold others back or serve them.

And yet, here in this secret home, hands tracing along the flared black skirt of Momo's dress, the thought of bringing Momo back with her nearly brought her to tears. Sacrificing what Momo had built for herself—what she was generous enough to share with Mai—is a betrayal she's unwilling to commit.

There was no way around it. If Mai was going to stay by her side, she'd have to become more than what she is now.

With the buzz of determination in her chest, she realized she'd do it. She'd endure the curses, the pain, the judgment. All of it.

Love always comes with a price, and this is what it costs to be with Momo.

For her whole life, she'd watched as Maki's hands have reached out, held fast, and protected whatever she considered dear.

For the first time, fingers intertwining with Momo's, Mai believed hers could do the same.

Momo Cordis was born on February fifteenth in a small area of the Rose Kingdom to a family of three, Cadence and Aryn, being her mother and father, and Faun, her older sister. She received draconic traits when she was born, along with her older sister, her horns and her tail being symbols of their hybrid blood. Their father, Aryn, a dragon hybrid, took the responsibility of ensuring that Momo and Faun knew how to handle their draconic parts, and Cadence took it upon themself to ensure that they knew how to handle their succubus like traits.

Momo grew to love art as a young child, and her older sister would often see her drawing pictures of flowers. She had an innate gift for flower tending— at the age of six, Momo planted her first rose with the help of her mother. She had tended that rose ever since, and protected it from storms and harsh winter weather. In elementary school, she would have a picture that she took with a camera of that rose on a chain that would be attached to her backpack. Her love for flowers was something that was unique to her. However, with every good person, there are also downs.

Because of her draconic and succubus like traits, children at her school, and even in her community, feared and sometimes bullied her. The other children thought her features were strange, and so they left her out of things. Momo never really had a solid group of friends when she was young; she never sat with anyone at lunch, during recess, she just sat at the school benches and drew trees by herself, she would work alone during group activities, it was all a little way to avoid the startling eyes of frightened children. She was never aggressive during the times people bullied her. When she would be struck, pushed, called out, laughed at, etcetera, she would sit and take it, not shedding a single tear until she was completely alone. She never understood why she couldn’t be accepted into social groups like other children. She never resented her features, but she did question them from time to time.

Luckily for her however, she was mainly bullied by girls. Girls can be catty sometimes. Boys mainly feared her and would act graciously around her. Not only were they fearful of her features and the possibilities of what she could do, but they were nervous because she possessed her mother’s immense physical beauty, even as a child. There were many times where she would be asked out by the boys in her class. She wasn’t ever interested in that though— she had other things to tend to.

Like in middle school. Her mother became ill. She alerted Faun of this and they both, along with their father, monitored their mother closely. After a few hospital visits did the dreaded news come to them. Cadence had ovarian cancer, gone too deep for recovery. The news shocked Momo from the inside out, like a lightening bolt electrocuting someone, frying them to death. It was common in her family, she knew that ovarian problems and miscarriages were common, but not cancer. Cadence was the main head of the house— she was the one to get things done first hand. Without her, everything in the house was hands on. At the ripe age of thirteen, Momo helped her father in an office job, acting as an intern to his secretary at a biology laboratory. She actually liked working there, as she got to study all kinds of plant life. While she was there, she was also taken into the arms of many of his father’s co-workers, who taught her things her mother couldn’t. For example, how to cook and clean, how to sew, how to work a washer and dryer, all those things. To build more ground with her sister, she took part in violin lessons with her. She loved the music that the violin made, and she always loved to hear her sister practice in her room. It was a good stress reliever as well, she discovered.

When she was fourteen, she discovered her unique magic in action for the very first time. She was tending to some of the plants at the lab, watering them and marking their areas of growth. They were doing a study on something or another. Her abilities came into play when she made a tulip slowly grow from a nursery flower to an adult in less than a minute. She was astounded at this, so astounded that she kept checking in on that particular flower each day to label other growths. It never wilted after it grew, and it always remained fresh and lively. When she smelled the tulip, taking in its floral and sweet fragrance, she gained another ability the day after. The ability to hypnotize people. One day, before going on break, she blew a kiss to her father, which after that, he started to act weirdly, and he started to follow her around. He did anything that she asked him to do, without question, on command, for approximately an hour. She apologized to her father, thinking she hurt him, however, she didn’t. He told her that it was fine, she just needs to be more careful. Her abilities were coming into fruition, and she needs to monitor them for any changes.

As she grew older, she took on several jobs, one after another, to help earn money for the family, and to help her mother. Faun slowly slacked from her position to focus on other academic things, meanwhile, Momo worked her ass off to bring happiness to the household, to the point of sleep loss and immense fatigue. It was a wonder how her mother stayed alive for this long. The medicines really seemed to lessen the symptoms of her pain and loss of fertility. Eventually however, her mother did have that time where she would have to pass. Momo and Faun said goodbye to their mother just a week after Momo turned sixteen. This led Momo into a deep cycle of depression. Her mother was very close to her. She gave her mother the necklace that she had given her on her fourth birthday back to her at the funeral as she lay in her casket, as well as two woven flower crowns and a bouquet of her favorite flowers.

Regardless, Momo is a strong and persevering woman. She tried her best to keep working, despite not being in the correct headspace. This also damaged her father, Aryn. Cadence was his first love, his high school sweetheart— the only woman to come around him, to not fear him for his draconic traits. Her death threw him into a loophole of nightmares and depressive thoughts. He truly never got over the death of his wife. And so he took it out on not normal things, but his children. It doesn’t help that Momo looks almost exactly like Cadence. He neglected Faun when Momo was around, and even when she wasn’t, he wouldn’t necessarily pay attention to his eldest daughter, which made her jealous of Momo.

One night, Faun left for a friend’s house. She was trying to seek attention from other sources. Momo, being alone with her father, was enough for him to crack. As Momo finished studying for an exam, her father entered her room. They had a small conversation as they sat next to each other on her bed. He eventually started getting more touchy with his youngest daughter, putting his arm around her shoulder, then her torso, than her waist, often touching her thighs and trying to get his fingers under her shorts. When Momo caught onto her father’s lewd behavior, she moved away from him and told him firmly to stop. The look in her father’s eyes made her regret her decision, her choice of voice mainly. He ended up forcing himself on her, being stronger than her, she couldn’t push him off. She kicked and screamed, thrashed and writhed to try and get out from under her father, having almost no courage to push him. However, when she felt something poke at the inside of her thigh, she pushed him off finally, using as much force as she could, and bolted out of her bedroom.

Having nowhere to go, she eventually ran into a pay phone to call Faun since she had left her phone at her house. She told Faun about the incident, which she seemed to care, but the jealousy was still there, despite the reasoning for said feelings being sick.

When she finished her high school years, a specific college got her attention— Royal Sword Academy. Faun’s interest was in Night Raven College, an academy that rivaled RSA. When they took their exams for entry however, something happened. They’re was some kind of mixup with the tests, and Momo ended up being accepted into Night Raven College, Faun was accepted into Royal Sword Academy. Things were about to get a little interesting.

Even though Momo was not allowed to partake in classes per se, being that NRC was an all boys institution, she could shadow other students in classes. Eventually, she was accepted as a student because of the awkwardness that came with being a shadow. She got acquainted with Grim, a Grey cat that seemed to sass her about the Ramshackle Dorm, which she worked mercilessly to straighten and clean the dorm, trying to transform its messy atmosphere. However, due to a housing issue, she was reassigned into Heartslabyul when they examined her unique magic being used.

She seemed to get along with most of the students at the dorm, some bullying her at the mercy of the Seven. She managed to get alone with Riddle and Trey, Cater developed a small (teensy weensy) crush on her. (Cute!) His liveliness on Magicam wasn’t for her though, as she could barely keep up with him in general.

While walking around the campus, examining the foliage that it had to offer, she thought she saw a pair of horns that looked similar to hers. Were there other dragons here? Other people like her? She wanted to investigate. She found Malleus Draconia, Head of the Diasomnia Dorm, upon pure coincidence. They both happened to be walking the same route. As introverted as they both were, they both offered to go separate ways. And that they did.

Until Malleus ran back into her a week later, and became infatuated with her because she wasn’t scared of him. She saw that he wasn’t intimidated by her either, which that must have been the feeling that her mother felt back in high school— curiosity for someone so different. She felt that elegant spark within him, and fell deep in love with it, as well as with a particular silver headed fellow that resides within the same dorm. She became conflicted on who she liked more— the draconic male that seemed to make her heart do summersaults, or the sleepy silver haired male, who seemed to peak Momo’s interest like a curious child seeing something in the sky. She frequently likes to sneak away to Diasomnia to see them, a familiar bunch that made her feel comfortable and familiarized. When Riddle found out about this, he tried to restrain her from going out at night, especially to that particular dorm. Seeing his attempts as flawed, he put her under his collar, which she hated.

Her flower menagerie became a popular spot within the Heartslabyul Dorm. Full of magical roses of pink and red and magenta, people of Heartslabyul would be enthralled by the roses and their sweet scents. “DO NOT SMELL” warning signs had to be put around the menagerie however due to an increase in students falling ill without warning.

Momo had turned from an anxious, feared girl into a sweet and gentle soul, waiting for the next available flower to tend and for the next adventurous soul to befriend. Truly a woman of all trades, a one of a kind girl.

MAKI MY BELOVED. The haircut! The scars! I am so glad she got to be horrifically scarred and then do horrific violence. It’s really nice to see a female character get to go feral and do plot-important revenge on a mass scale in shounen.

Choso is my surprise fave. It is absolutely hilarious that he decided he is Itadori’s brother and is going to stop being evil and help them and then everyone just kinda rolls with it. (And him crying about leaving Itadori was sweet and funny.)

Also now that he’s a recurring character and we got more information about Kenjaku/”Kamo Noritoshi” GIVE ME  HIS MOTHER’S NAME

Nobara had better not be dead. :( I initially didn’t like her - her introduction where she’s all about wanting to be a model and the parts in the goodwill event arc where she fights Momo and Mai rubbed me the wrong way because they fell too much into the “women being catty bitches to each other” for my tastes. But the parts where she stabbed herself to inflict pain on the death painting wombs and the flashbacks to her past & non-jujutsu friends really endeared her to me. 

I also had limited feelings on Itadori, but his reaction to Sukuna taking over in Shibuya made me like him, lol. I’m also intrigued by Kenjaku being his mom.

Tengen is ... intriguing. The natural arc of human lives, if we don’t die of old age, is to approach a cursed spirit-like state? Looks like Jogo was onto something about curses being the true humans.

RIP the disaster curses. :( I was really surprised that they all died! I did like the energy surrounding Mahito’s “death,” though. I guess they were “starter bosses,” so to speak

I do not understand the Culling Game stuff in the slightest. How and why does this work ......? It’s so convoluted and I’m not sure how the information is being conveyed to the characters in universe.

I would also like to note that I called my brother and he is also confused. Let it be known that if we are stupid, we are stupid together.

Very excited to see the horrible repercussions for normal Japan. The 23 special wards have ~9 million people in them, so how were the mass death tolls explained? The higher-ups don’t want to reveal jujutsu and curses to the masses, but the Culling Game seems like it’s done that for them? (Mark this down as another thing I’m unclear on.)

Who the fuck are the “higher-ups”. They keep being referenced, but it’s not clear who or what they are. I’ve been thinking of them as basically the Ministry of Magic in Harry Potter, but that’s not an exact analogue since the jujutsu world isn’t as independent from the regular world as the magical world (e.g. they use the same currency, they don’t seem to have an actual separate government, just a vague “governing board”)

actually, how independent is jujutsu society? To what extent do sorcerer families (especially prominent ones like the Zenin) interact with the regular world? Do they register births and deaths like normal people or is that done in a parallel jujutsu system akin to whatever the purebloods do in Harry Potter? Is it possible in a practical sense for someone from a sorcerer family to leave and live a normal life? (i.e. not as a supernatural hitman, FUSHIGURO TOJI)

you know, I wonder how much, if any, Fushiguro’s mom and Tsumiki’s mom knew about Toji. Also, what happened to them? (Nothing good, to be certain, but I don’t think we ever get specifics.)

I’m interested to learn about how Kenjaku, Sukuna, Uraume, and Tengen knew each other back in the Heian period.
