Sun Moth. Contest entry. #answer3k Here is my entry for @nacl1474 's contest which was to design a new character following certain design rules and motives. I had a lot of fun with this one but was also very scared, am still scared to post it. I think I might have gone a little too adventurous with the pose which may take away from the design, I don't know. I both love it and have my doubts about it. I designed the sun side sort to speak, and I have a moon design that still needs to get done as well.  I can honestly say that I did kind of feel immediately inspired when I saw the contest and the prompt. This was actually the image i had in my head, and aside from some points that have me doubting some design choices I really do love this piece and look forward to receive feedback! Megara. Disney Fanart. I felt inspired by @preywen their Megara piece and from a whole back @illustrator_joe their piece on her as well. She's one of my fave Disney females and I live her attitude so much but I had never drawn her. That had to change. So, I have two pieces, this one, because I just had to get one of her fabulous expressions, they went all out with her and I had to use that. I made her hair to bright I think but I still like how this piece came out. There will be another Meg piece in the future. Inktober day 11. Prompt snow. I'm so happy to be posting this because I loved how this turned out. This little witch is seeing snow for the very first time. When I saw this moment I instantly knew I wanted to try and capture that moment of seeing snow for the first time. I think I'm really proud of how her expression came out, I hope to make moe pieces like this in the future. It brought me a lot of joy to make. Also trying a new format in posting. My entry for #inktober2019 number 10. Patterns. I think I was quite quick with thinking up this one, mostly because I often work with including a lot of different patterns in my drawing ready. So, I decided to draw a merchant witch who sells enchanting fabric with all kinds of patterns on them. Call of the Green .  No DTIYS for a change though I´m still preparing for entering many more. Sorry about that but I do enjoy them a lot and find them challenging and fun. Which is I guess what it is all about. For this piece though, I wanted to experiment more with the color brush marker. I used a combination of Koi coloring brush markers and the Edding Color Happy brush markers and I´m so happy with how it turned out. One thing I still need to learn is which fine liners go well with these because there´s a slight smudging going on here and there.  For the character I feel the title Call of the green works perfect. In my head I have not exactly figured out yet who she is but feel she´s part of nature. Perhaps a tree spirit of sorts there to care for the forest which we humans are not doing. One thing that went lost with taking a picture is the gold accent and detail in her eyes which makes me sad but I still like this piece a lot. #inktober2019 entry number 18. Misfit. I took the for me easiest definition of the word (Ignoring the idea I had of a witch that doesn’t fit in) and going with an ‘ill-fitting clothing item’ definition instead. As this cute little witch points out, this hat is too big, even for an airhead like herself. I had a lot of fun doing this one though struggled with the poses of the arms and hands, I’m not entirely sure if I am satisfied with those and might in the future try my hand at this piece again and even add colors then. Day number 12 of #inktober2019 : Dragon.  I had a lot of fun with this one but do realize my wings still need a lot, a lot of practice but this day I wa slooking forward to. When I saw the promp list and saw this prompt I knew what I wanted to draw. I had seen a picture of @bobbasset which kin of inspired the pose and the idea. I gave it my own spin but did want to give credit where credit is due for the inspiration. I also like the tattoo's I did and in the future might want to try do a retry at this piece or draw more tattoo's. Inktober prompt 8. Frail. I took the prompt as a witch looking after some frail looking flowers, using her magic to make them stronger and healthy. If she looks familiar, she's the older sister of the witch in prompt three. Starting to realize I'm doing a lot of witches, but witches are cool and delightful to design. Here is my entry for day five for #inktober2019 with the prompt 5. Build. This is instantly what I thought of, a powerful, build like a Brickhouse lady, Barb. That's her name. And yes she's a top notch lady, with fab nails and fab hair. I really like how she turned out. And the sketch of color I feel was a good way to do. Inktober day #2. Here's my entry for the second day with the prompt word: "mindless". And I love how this turned out and honestly think it's one of my better works. The expression, the eyes. *excited* My thought process for the prompt was a witch doing a spell while mindlessly not paying particular attention to her pronunciations. Dundunduuun. Draw this again. When cleaning up some of my old work that I felt no longer represented me well I tried taking an old idea and redoing it with the #drawthisagainchallenge so here is my retake on my little tea witch. The biggest mistake is me underestimating the paper and how markers would react to it.
