One of the things I love most about Catherine Foundling throughout the Guide is how consistently, sincerely, and enthusiastically she relates to, sympathizes with, and goes to bat for the people the rest of the setting see as monsters; the orcs, goblins, and drow.

While the rest of the world sees a madwoman butchering her way to the new world order, they see the serving girl who chatted up the legionary greenskins asking about the War College. She can read orc body language and adopts goblin mannerisms to terrifying effect. The two sister goddesses of thievery and murder are easily the best patrons she's ever had, and her role as a sort of "outsider prophet" guiding the drow to live on the surface actually leads to her making positive changes to their nightmare society!

As Cordelia said, she drags them out of our bedroom stories and gives them a place at our hearths. And isn't that fitting for one so adept at stories as the Carrion Lord's get?

I’m reading through ‘A Practical Guide to Evil’ and the protagonist, who is bisexual, had such a useless lesbian moment. She described the pecs of a boy she once slept with, to the girl she currently has a crush on, just after the girl not so subtly asked if she was only interested in boys

Average a practical Guide to evil character has three titles actually Just a statistical Error. Titles Catherine who lives in a Cave and has had three Names, two callowan/Praesi noble titles, two fae Mantels, three drow titles and one epithet is an outlier and should Not have been counted

in the alternate timeline where pgte got an anime i think it'd be really cool if the ops just followed the heroes as if they were the protagonists and framed catherine and company as the antagonists they need to face it'd be so cool and epic and poggers
