CAPITANO: ALL ROADS LEAD HOME

(5.1 SPOILERS BELOW)

-> THE PILGRIMAGE has been a long time coming, one often avoided by those unfortunate enough to step across it's long and winding path. To others, it was a forsaken road, one that led only to death and destruction of all things, but to the long forgotten COMMANDER it was merely another long journey to a HOME he'd watched swallowed by the tides of a sea that held neither malice nor empathy for its inhabitants. NEVER in his life forsaken life has he seen such an apathetic entity like the ABYSS.

IT does not feel, nor does it bleed, it merely exists in an endless state of perpetual, swirling, chaos that never ceases. It was royal HUBRIS that had invited it into the KINGDOM that he's adamantly avoided for the past 500 years, the memories of that tragic day are ones he's carefully hidden like a dirty secret. The mask has helped to seal his identity away, the midnight black veil hiding the corrosion that seeped beneath his remaining flesh, so efficient is it that even the BOUGH KEEPER and THE JESTER have failed to see beyond his lies.

He's had confidants on the journey, friends made under a variety of names that allowed him to cement a mockery of himself onto the world in the place of the MAN who died that day. Still, he's under no illusion that the past is something he can keep running from, not when so many BRAVE souls live on inside of him, some believe them betrayers, monsters who unleashed the end of all things unto the world, and yet, they still took up arms, crossed forests, deserts and seas in an attempt to stem the tide of evil that had once been unleashed on his home by MADDENED scholars.

PERHAPS IT WAS THAT QUEST, that had led HER to look upon him with something akin to pity, to ensure his life would never fade until GOLD was brought low by the blade that had been gifted to him by the chill of death. Illusionary means have allowed him to hide the decay on his skin, a gift from an old friend in return for a promise to protect all that was beautiful of the world.

YET STILL, he has to shake the thoughts from his mind as the creaking of stone awakens his from the waking dream, casting an icy gaze along the seals that hold the GATE firmly shut. To the CICIN MAGES this is the task of the most importance, the traps that keep shut the doors to that dark hell so that none may unleash the monstrosities that have remained hidden there for centuries. To the naked eye, the gates remain unguarded, watched only by the looming stone sentinels that make no attempt to bar the foolish from wandering where none should attempt to travel.

YET THEY COULD NOT BE ANY MORE INCORRECT, for he who stands as the last of the Schwanenritter has remained ever vigilant, scores upon scores of loyal men and women ready to take arms against those who would dare to unleash the Cataclysm upon the world once more. His existence is doomed to end one day, but that single inviolate ideal will forever survive beyond him, for every man and woman who stood beside him is more than prepared to carry that banner to the ends of the earth in a show of true loyalty to their Knight Marshall.

OT Trio & Names | Headcanons

The name "Leia" comes from Anakin and Shmi's native language, and is an old-fashioned and poetic word for "storm".

"Luke", or rather, "Luké", is of Naboo origin and means "flying".

"Solo" is derived from the Corellian word for "nerf", and was originally an occupational name denoting a nerfherder. It is a rather common surname among the lower classes of Corellia. Leia thinks it's the funniest thing ever when she finds out.

"Han" means "strong", and is a very popular name on Corellia.

I feel like a lot of spider-man media doesn’t dive into the vigilante part of being spider-man enough.

I feel as though every spider-person should dislike the police, even by a very small amount. Spider-man is a vigilante at the end of the day, and the cops aren’t exactly well known for accepting vigilantes with open arms.

I refuse to believe that Spider-man goes out every day, stops crime in New York, and isn’t exposed to dirty cops, cops that are assholes, cops that have heavy bias, cops that abuse their power, cops that overall shouldn’t be cops.

Peter Parker puts on the mask every day and, while he acknowledges that being a white man definitely saves him from a majority of problems with cops, as spider-man, he has to deal with cops that scream and shoot, cops that are a little to aggressive when catching someone, a little too okay with letting certain people go on the basis that there wasn’t ‘enough evidence’ yet suddenly are able to buy that new car they always wanted.

Gwen Stacy’s father is a police officer, she personally knows plenty of cops and she trusts them completely in her home, but as ghost-spider, she meets cops that talk down to her despite what she does, cops that dismiss plenty of women’s fear after an attack, cops that say nasty things about their wives when they think nobody can hear them, cops that look at sex workers with far to much disgust when arresting a criminal.

Miles Morale’s father is also a cop, and he treats every officer with respect when he works with the police as spider-man, but he isn’t blind to cops that sneer at black criminals extra hard, cops that are quick to reach for their guns, cops that frown just a bit harder when they pass by black neighborhoods, cops they use ‘us’ and ‘them’ when talking.

I’m not saying that spider-man should hate cops or that every cops is bias, or takes bribes, or abuses their power, I’m just saying that so many spider-man stories forget that spider-man protects the people and that police aren’t exactly the best at treating the people they’re supposed to help calmly and humanly. Just give spider-man that tiny bit of “I refuse to let you prioritize your job over people’s lives” when dealing with shitty cops.

MAN. I HEADCANNON PM! DAZAI DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO LOVE. like, he knows love. The structure of what it is, a simple stature but thats only the view from the outside. when he finds himself trapped inside the complex labyrinth love was — he was at lost for where to go. no routes in his mind could pave a path, there was no logic working in this maze. as if it were different from everything he'd ever known.

I headcannon Dazai does not know love, but merely the theory it is. He knows how to seduce yet he does not know what it is. he just knows it's something that helps him to manipulate, to take control of the situation.. but within those strings, he finds himself no longer the puppeteer — but he, was the puppet he was playing all along. he never knew the dangers of what love could do, until his heart became what was being played as a price to be payed. it started off as a thrill, then an annoyance, and then a constant looming — the feeling of his heart tightening in his chest. truthfully, he never knew anything.

And that made him fear it.

but you knew everything, how to love. and what's beautiful, is the fact that he melts within your embrace. he learns what is right, he learns love — what it means to love and be loved. he finds out with you that in all dark corners, love is still beautiful. That within this dark maze, you were the one who pulled him out and into the light, you who spoke of love so beautifully. there came an enlightenment to him, that you were the one — the one he's been waiting for all his life, his answer.

but PM! Dazai Osamu was but a man — fearing the unknown, for the feeling of lost once you slip away from his fingers. I honestly love the clothing styles of each of the turtles in this show and I love how these styles really incorporate their personalities as well.

Like, obviously Donnie has the best sense of style, yeah? Think that’s something pretty agreed upon here. Everything we see him put together is very meticulously crafted and clean. That goes with his personality because Donnie is a very meticulous person in general, and he knows what he likes very, very well, and knows how to flaunt it in turn. Him commenting on colors he enjoys or disapproving of outfits that the others see no problem with also shows how he just generally has an eye for this kind of thing. He doesn’t just know what looks good on himself, but also what looks good on others - and I think this ties into his love of gift giving too. Donnie also has a flair for making sure that his things have his “mark” on them, and his clothing is no exception. All that he wears and how he wears them screams “Donnie.”

Mikey is really fun because his styles are honestly a pendulum between super simplistic and incredibly out there. And often, you’re going to see a lot of color or patterns to both. And in my opinion I think that all reflects really well on Mikey’s character - he’s got a colorful personality but even more than that he’s incredible sure of who he himself is. Mikey’s style, I feel, is less what looks good as clothes and more what sparks joy in Mikey himself. His bright stickers he wears are a testament of that! He’s comfortable in his own skin and his style reflects this perfectly, whether he goes for a more out-there look or a more toned down one.

Now, for Leo. Okay, I think I’m actually in the minority here I feel because Leo’s style isn’t really that bad? Hear me out- if you actually look at what he wears, try taking out, like, one accessory. Suddenly, that outfit works! He even manages to put together many good outfits in the series, but his “bad” ones are the ones that tend to stand out, alas (just like how his mistakes tend to be big ones oop-) Basically, my personal look at him is not that he’s inept at styling at all, but that he has a “too much” gene. And like everyone else, this sense of style is completely like him, too. Going too far to impress when all he needed to do was slow it down some to think things through. (And funnily enough, a lot of his outfits take random aspects from his brothers too - “nothing without them” huh?)

For Raph, I feel bad for him since pretty much all of his clothes are inevitably going to be ripped, but he makes them work pretty much each time. Like Leo, Raph tends to go more sporty with his looks, but I also noticed that his stuff often goes in that in between of comfy, cool, and cute. His pajama suit in particular comes to mind in terms of “cute” as it’s more something you’d see younger children in rather than older kids, and I think it can be a subtle nod to the fact that for all Raph tries to seem older, he’s still just a kid too.

I could probably go on, but these are just all off the top of my head - I love how the boys’ personality’s come out in so many different ways.

Welt is almost thankful the door to his room is easily warped, the metal bent and twisted by minor gravitational forces until it's no longer easily opened. It's in that comfort, he allows himself to slip into deep meditation, closing his eyes to the hum of engines until his consciousness drifts deep into pathspace. The recent expedition has left him with jumbled thoughts, mind adrift to the revelations hidden within the world wrapped in memoria.

He'd known that setting out on this long journey would remind him of long gone students and adversaries he wished to forget, yet the rapid emergence of so many old familiar faces has left him at a loss, suspicious of myriad factors that seemed to be at play. Luocha had been an unwelcome surprise, even further, with the way the roots of the imaginary tree seemed to bend to his will. It's those unfamiliar faces that seem to drag him into the cold embrace of his Aeon.

Of course, IX is more than just an Aeon, IT'S interference in the life of the women who called herself Yomi made that abundantly clear to him. It stung in a way to see what could have been if his once student had failed in Nagazora, yet somehow reached the end of the journey without the person that had centered her for so long. IX's presence before him is all too familiar, the way the energy seemed to hum within the empty space towards distant worlds.

"If saving you is a sin, I will gladly become a sinner." Clearly the words never left the consciousness he felt brushing against his, the child that he'd tried to protect decades ago still smiling brightly in his mind. He wonders if any will ever succeed in knowing what IX truly was, if they'd come to know the girl that remained cocooned inside the sphere that remained warm to the touch. He'd been asked, once, if he knew why Nihility wrapped itself around him, why the black hole summoned by the core in his cane seemed so much like the AEON. He lied, of course, that even his knowledge didn't extend that far, unwilling to reveal the AEON was little more than a cocoon of Honkai in which the consciousness of the last herrscher lingered.

Prequel Trio & Names | Headcanons

Anakin was named for a semi-mythological hero and king from Shmi's home planet. The name is a corruption of the phrase "aanan Nakin", meaning "glory to Naki", where Naki is the goddess of motherhood and family.

"Anakin" sounds very similar to the Naboo name "Anaké", meaning "lasting, enduring".

Padmé's byname, "Amidala", means "she who shines forever", and is derived from the words "amidé", meaning "shining", and "dalos", meaning "eternal". Padmé chose it to honor the Naboo sun god, since both the date of her birth and the date she became Queen of Naboo are around midsummer.

"Padmé" means "rising", also in reference to the sun.

Names like "Ki-Adi Mundi", "Qui-Gon Jinn" and "Obi-Wan Kenobi" come from the ancient language of the Jedi Order, and are typically given to initiates whose birth names are unknown, though they can also be chosen later in life for various reasons.

Obi-Wan's name comes from the words for "light, bright" ("obi"), "excellence" ("wan"), and "strength" ("ken").

MHA headcanons because the show makes me happy: part 2

This turned out sort of Bakugou heavy, I don't even like him that much but alas he's an interesting little guy. Like last time, if you don't like them or it clashes with canon that's okay. I can be wrong about inconsequential things sometimes. As a treat :)

🌟 Tsuyu is autistic and does not mask at all. If you want a brutally honest opinion without aggression that comes from annoying Bakugou, Tsu is your gal.

🌟 Aizawa hates great danes. He's neutral about dogs in general, not his thing but people can like what they like. But great danes... They just don't sit right with his soul.

🌟 It does kind of bother Ojiro when Denki uses his tail as a fidget toy in class. But it seems to help him focus a bit so Ojiro doesn't have the heart to tell him to stop.

🌟 Thirteen has a program for troubled kids struggling with "villainous" quirks. They want to show people that if literal black holes can be used to do good in the world, so can any other ability.

🌟 Kirishima is a good singer but he only does it when he's alone. His singing voice is much softer than his speaking voice, and he thinks it's not manly enough. Bakugou knows this because he sometimes hears him practice Lemon Boy at night. He doesn't say anything about it though because he'd rather admit to Deku he considers him a good friend than jeopardize that experience.

🌟 Bakugou got his passion for cooking from Auntie Inko. She'd always let him help with dinner when he stayed over, and taught him that cooking is a way to show love when putting it into words is too hard. Now he makes lunch for his friends every Saturday.

💥 Masaru is actually Katsuki's stepdad. Mitsuri managed to escape her abusive first marriage when Katsuki was four. After all the trauma, she found safety in the kind, gentle man that is now her husband. Masaru is endlessly patient with his son and Katsuki turned out to be 100% a papa's boy. And Mitsuki couldn't be any happier about that.

🌟 Not counting his boyfriend, Bakugou's closest friends are actually Ochaco and Denki. Besides Kirishima Ochaco is the only other student he considers a true equal. And Denki just kind of weaseled himself into his heart along the way.

🌟 When Bakugo is being particularly difficult Denki likes to call him a boomer.

🌟 Bakugou's worst enemies aren't the LoV or even Deku. It's Mina's neon pink and chartreuse zebra print faux fur collar dressing gown and Kirishima's 8-in-1 shampoo.

🌟 Pro hero Dynamight, famous for his smoky eye and sharp liner, has an alt skincare and makeup brand with violent names and edgy packaging but impeccable quality. His most recent release is the 3rd Degree palette, a collab with Shouto.

🌟 Fatgum was VERY popular with both girls and boys in high school and all the "nice guys" were seething about it. He was a tall, funny, thick guy and the definition of a dad friend. He always had crackers or granola bars on him in case someone skipped breakfast.

🌟 Yaomomo takes commissions from her classmates if they want something made. She takes payment is in the form of chocolates equivalent to how much fat she has to burn to make the item, or based on how stupid she thinks it is. (She charged Denki 2 whole chocolate cakes for a maid dress.)

🌟 Hatsume is secretly working on a new hero costume for Momo. She overheard her confiding in Jirou that the outfit is cold and makes her feel exposed and vulnerable, so she stole some leftover scraps from Mirio's costume for studying and got to work immediately.

🌟 Even in his true form, Toshinori is freakishly tall. Endeavor, a full time beefcake of almost 2 meters, can just barely look the decrepit old man with turbo asthma in the eyes. And that drives him insane.

🌟 Toshinori thinks of his Allmight form as drag. When he lived in the US he explored all the things he'd missed out on living in a more conservative country and became a regular at the ballroom scene. The queens inspired him to camp up his hero persona to the MAX.

seungcheol / chan — wants to make the boyfriend uncomfortable and he WILL. folding arms, refusing to shake hands, giving the slow once-over, passive aggressive interrogation all the way through dinner JUST to see if the guy can handle it 😭 but once all of that’s over & he approves of the bf they become best friends the switch up is insane.

jeonghan / wonwoo / minghao / woozi — very polite and easygoing on the outside, but are watching sososooooo carefully without making it obvious. v silent judging and he’ll let u know EXACTLY what he thinks later. also one red flag or fuckup and that guy is outta here.

jun / joshua — omg. he’s honestly just taking this as an opportunity to embarrass you. every humiliating story FROM DAY ONE “accidentally” slips out in front of your boyfriend. finds it hilarious even (or especially) if you don’t, but comes to your room and apologises later and also produces a list of things he thinks about the guy??

mingyu / hoshi — want to be intimidating SO bad but are too nice to actually do it. they keep forgetting they’re not supposed to like this dude, especially when they find out they have common interests. literally forgets it’s ur bf he’s talking to.

dk / seungkwan — hot take i feel like these two would actually be a little intimidating? like it would be clear to the bf from the start that they are WATCHING 👀 still friendly, but not too friendly.

vernon — he FEELS intimidating bc he’s so quiet but actually he’s not that bothered like at all 😭 ofc he’s listening and he’s watching and he converses with the guy, but he’s not actively out for this guys guts. if you like him and he treats you right, vernon has no problem w it!!
