Ari was a good boss, but sometimes his laid-back attitude almost caused you to break out in hives. You'd told him days ago that the weather would be bad when you were supposed to drive up to meet new clients. Ari had waved it away, saying he was a good driver and it would be no problem. But as you stared at the log blocking the road, you felt the dread rise inside you.

If he'd just listened, you'd already be at your destination, and not have to spend the night god knows where since it was starting to get dark. But that's an alpha for you, always thinking they know best. Still, Ari was your boss, so you did your best not to glare daggers at him when he said, “I saw a motel some way back. We can stay there for the night.”

After he parked, he sent you to the front desk to secure rooms while he called the client to inform them that you'd be late to the meeting that was taking place first thing in the morning.

Your bad luck continued as the clerk said, “I only have one room left.”

For a moment, you contemplated murdering your boss, but then with a sigh, you said, “I'll take it.” All the energy had left your body, and you longed for some rest.

Ari waited by the truck, both your bags in his big hands.

“We'll have to share,” you told him and waved the key.

He walked behind you to the door, and when you opened it, you saw the only thing that might make this bad day even worse. There was only one bed. You had hoped there would be a couch of some sort you could bed down in, but there was only an armchair that you'd never be able to sleep in.

“For fucks sake,” you mumbled.

At least the room was clean. If you'd found odd stains, you'd walked right into the wilderness and let it take you. 

Ari put the bags on the floor and sat on the bed, looking at you with soft eyes. “I’m sorry, I should know better by now and listen to you. Please don’t be mad at me.”

He had noticed your bad mood, apparently.

It took everything in you not to jab him in the chest and tell him exactly how this was all his fault.

Before you could rip him a new one, he opened one of the bags and pulled out some candy bars and drinks. “They had a vending machine, so I bought us some snacks. After we're done with the clients tomorrow, I'll treat you to whatever you want.”

You looked at what he was offering and you couldn't help notice he'd bought all your favorite snacks and drinks. And you instantly knew which ones he preferred himself.

“Thanks,” you murmured as you grabbed your choices and sat in the chair.

“Do you want me to sleep on the floor?” he said next. 

It would be a fitting punishment for the situation you were in. But now, as you'd gotten something to eat, you didn't feel half as mad as before.

“No, it's okay, we can share.”

After eating and taking turns in the bathroom, you went under the covers. Fortunately, you had brought a big sleeping shirt. Ari was in his boxers and a t-shirt, and he laid down with his back to you. What you hadn't accounted for was your omega brain kicking in at the nearness of alpha. Suddenly, you could smell all the notes in his personal perfume.

He always smelled nice, but so close in an unfamiliar environment, he didn't just smell like Ari. He was an unmated alpha in his prime, and you were inches away from him. All your natural instincts told you to offer yourself to him as the unmated omega that you were. He’d take care of you and protect you.

“If you keep perfuming like that, Imma have to sleep in the car,” Ari looked over his shoulder at you.

“Sorry,” you breathed. “I must be getting close to my heat or something.”

“Mhmm,” Ari answered. In an attempt to calm your racing heart, you took a deep breath. Instead, Ari flooded into your senses even more and you let out a pitiful whine, clutching the sheets.

“Fuck, precious,” Ari answered with a growl, rolling over to face you.

“I'm sorry,” you said once more. Some kind of explanation was on the tip of your tongue, but before you could form the words, Ari had dragged you over to him, pressing you against his chest, locking eyes with you.

“I didn't want it to happen like this,” he rumbled. His alpha scent surrounded you, made the omega in you calm, and helped you focus.

“What?” You asked at his words, confused.

“This, you, us,” a soft smile curved his lips. “I planned to take you out tomorrow, tell you how I felt about you with a candlelight dinner.”

“I don't understand,“ you whispered.

“You've been invaluable these last few years, and I realized I look forward to going to work every day because of you.”

“Ari.” You wanted to say that you felt the same, but before the words formed, Ari smiled wickedly and said, “Mmm, precious, I like it when you say my name.”

He ducked his head down and pressed his nose against your neck.

“I think I need to hear you say it more, and louder. Make sure everyone else knows you're mine.”

Your hands reached up to weave through his hair and grab hold as you pressed yourself against him. “Yes, please, alpha!” you moaned.

He responded with a chuckle against your skin before starting to kiss it. It didn't take long for him to rid you of your sleepwear and pull off your underwear. Then he made sure you were loud enough to wake anyone sleeping.

Afterwards, you lay on his chest, more content than in a long time. “Promise you're not mad at me still, precious.” You smiled and left a kiss on his skin, before looking up at him. “I am, but you're starting to make up for it,” you answered with a wink.

Persephone or Underworld feminine archetypes seem to be commonly played by Venus nakshatra natives.

Ketu's void is with Hades being the Lord of the Underworld — Ketu = poverty, detachment, hidden realms and darkness. So his appearance is dark and not abundant, he resides away from the land of the living, and his wealth is associated with hidden resources of the earth.

While Persephone is the Goddess of Spring — Venus = beauty, harmony, pleasure, and values. Hades' obsession with her is definitely due to their polarity. Magha and Purva Phalguni are yoni consorts, after all.

Persephone makes so much sense for Purva Phalguni as well, as this nakshatra is the final stage of creation. Magha nakshatra is related to the power of manifestation through detachment & other ascetic means.

Magha Moon Neville Goddard, the mystic writer who taught various self-help methods for testing his own claim that the human imagination is omnificent, therefore God. Coining the Law of Assumption and claiming himself a witness to his own manifesting powers.

Magha's relation with leaving the body associates to manifestation powers simply through the principle of detachment and accessing higher realms of consciousness. This idea of leaving the body is tied Ketu’s influence, which governs moksha (liberation), past life experiences, the ability to transcend the physical and to therefore master it (rather than getting caught up with it, as seen with Rahu's tendency to be immersed with Maya).

Bharani ASC Anya Taylor Joy as Sandie, a beautiful aspiring singer, who gets trafficked into an Underworld of sorts, very akin to the kidnapping of Persephone.

So the union of Magha and Purva Phalguni ultimately serves as a complete royal experience, as Magha is the throne & of hidden wealth and Purva Phalguni is the bed of pleasures & creation. Persephone becomes Queen of the Underworld beside her dark King.

Bharani nakshatra is the second nakshatra in Vedic astrology. It is completely located in the sign of Aries, representing creation and beginnings. sorry to be autistic but ive gotta tlak about csh for a minute because it really blows me away by how meta twin fantasy is ,like will created ftf as a reflection on the relationship he was in and the emotions he was feeling during the creation of mtm..also like the names of the respective versions ,"mirror to mirror" signifying how both of the people in the relationship only really loved the reflection of themselves they saw in the other [he also references this in strangers, where he says "i sleep lying next to a mirror" which is also a metaphor for being a homosexual] and face to face being the new version, signifying that he has finally come to terms,has finally had proverbial "conversation" face to face about the past feelings he felt while writing twin fantasy and has fully acknowledged what he felt and has moved on. this is also apparent in his past-tense use of words instead of present-tense like the usage of words in mtm [ftf those boys says "they were connected/at the back of the head/they *had* a conduit/their minds *were* the same" meanwhile mtm those boys says "they were connected/at the back of the head/they *got* a conduit/their minds *are* the same". he realizes the relationship has ended and its over now. a piece of fiction, if you will.]

also in mtm will states that "he has only lyrics now," that he is in despair over the loss of the relationship and the fact that the relationship is now a work of fiction that only exists in his mind-a fantasy. however in ftf he recognizes this and comes to terms with it- it is just a song. it is just lyrics. he even changes "he has only lyrics now" to "these are only lyrics now". he has changed, he has reflected and moved on. this is just a piece of fiction to him now, anything can happen from here. i also really like the change in famous prophets to where he no longer name drops himself and cate wurtz. like he says, "the contract is up, the names have been changed". this is no longer a breakup album made about wurtz but instead a piece of fiction documenting the feelings he experienced during a part of his life

i also really like these lyrics, taken from a bible verse about the 3 wise men i believe ? but the end was edited to say "now these Two remain" to reference the two people in the relationship

its just so interesting. you break up with someone, one of you writes a breakup album in a fit of feeling, 7 years pass and youre both left to deal with the fallout. anything can happen from here. now these two remain and they must see face to face to put their past behind them.

the allusion to "the lady" by hojin stella jung at the end of ftf high to death is also incredibly powerful. the way he uses the words hojin uses to talk about their feelings while painting the portfolio of the lady to refer to his own feelings of making the original twin fantasy is so good and so compelling. the way they say "it was intense, it was an intense process, and it was how i was trying to, very hard, personify that intensity/but its hard to talk about her now, because i think she wasnt me/at least thats how i feel and im trying to figure out what to do now......but i did believe in her, 'the lady', and maybe/there is a different form now that the intensity takes" is an incredible parallel to will's feelings about writing the original twin fantasy and its a really powerful end to a song i think

Cate Dunlap as a mirror to Homelander and Butcher

! REWRITE OF AN OLDER POST !

Cate and Homelander share a similar origin of isolation and emotional deprivation during their most formative years. Homelander was raised in a lab, shaped into the perfect product—a shiny toy to sell to the masses, the American dream embodied. He was surrounded by the sterile company of doctors and researchers.

"To protect you. That's always job one at Vought, isn't it? Protect our most profitable asset?....You don't understand. The thing about cross-breeding dogs, you get the right genes, you can get a perfect creation. But it doesn't matter how perfect they are. It's not enough. When I raise subjects without their mothers, they become violent. Aggressive. Downright hateful. You should have been raised in a home with a family who loved you. Not in a cold lab with doctors."

John, before becoming The Homelander, had no mother to speak of—instead, he had tutors who would quiz him on American culture. He sought comfort from them as he would from a mother because they were prevalent feminine figures in his everyday life, capable of filling that role. In a sense, he was trying to create a makeshift family out of the staff, with Dr. Vogelbaum as the cruel and distant paternal figure and the tutors as his caring maternal figures.

"Uh today we had another incident. But this time the subject was not driven by anger but by something else altogether. I told Dr. Vogelbaum that the subject was obviously suffering from isolation induced depression but he didn't respond. He just told me to find another tutor."

[It’s good to note that this replacement of something as valuable as a "family member" (in John's eyes) could have also been formative in Homelander’s opinion of humans as replaceable toys—a subconscious thought that slowly grew stronger over the years.]

Both were locked away behind a steel door. Cate’s mother even took away the warmth of human touch from her.

This is where Shetty and Stillwell come into play, both disguising themselves as pseudo-"motherly" figures. Shetty and Stillwell sought to wield control over them, using them for their own goals, only to meet violent ends at their hands. Shetty and Stillwell play their roles in different ways and manipulate differently, but both offer praise and affection while exploiting inner desires and conflicts. They build trust, and when that trust is broken, Homelander and Cate feel betrayed, becoming unstable and angry. They slip from their grasp, and that control no longer works.

Cate holds hatred for humans, believing they see her and fellow supes as nothing more than "products" to market and sell to the masses for profit. Homelander views humans as disposable — nothing but ants to step on, toys to entertain himself with. Yet he still needs their love and adoration, a way to satisfy his own carnal, [human] need for approval, a lingering effect of being crafted into a "product" from an early age.

Cate and Butcher are extremists in their views, driving away their closest friends and allies with their radical beliefs about supes and humans. They are two sides of the same coin. Butcher is haunted by the death of Rebecca, while Cate is tormented by guilt for pushing Luke to his breaking point.

My birthday happens to fall the day before Walpurgis Night. Where I'm from we celebrate with friends, watching bonfires, listening to choirs and getting absolutely shitfaced. So we're going to combine that with the myth and folklore of Walpurgis Night and have ourselves a creation celebration! Are you going to confess to your best friend by the flames of the fire, or are you going to get snared by a dark warlock?

There are two parts of this! A writing event and submitting a writing request. For both you need to be +18 to participate. There needs to be some indication of your age in the bio of your blog.

So first we got Oracle!

💻 Body began creation after Adam suggested that the best way to understand the human experience, was to find a way to experience it himself. Thus, with the help of some people on the crazier side of the internet, he was able to aquire a robot body.

💻 While he can be out in the rain, he cannot swim. (He has to take dry rice baths if the rain is really hard)

💻 Because of his abilities with manipulating any digital media, he was able to aquire a lot of money fairly quickly to be able to live on his own.

💻 Settled in a small town where he acts as a general doctor. Not too far from Cate's Crossing.

💻 He's very kind to everyone, if not a bit blunt and to the point. He's trying his best to truly understand human mannerisms and social norms.

💻 Still watches over his own "Humans", Adam being his ambassador during his absence.

👁 Body was built by the Cult of The Eye, as a way to honor their Prophet.

👁 Just like Oracle, he has all senses except taste.

👁 He may be dressed like a priest but I assure you this guy's a dickhead. He has no respect for humans, totally arrogant and demeans the cultists below him.

👁 Unfortunately, his body is quite rusty, considering the Cult's main area of worship is in a swamp, which he despises.

👁 He has eyes painted on his chest like tattoos, honoring the being that gave him enlightenment, The Last Adam/The Eye.

👁 To Spite the Elijah Fellowship, he decided that his wardrobe of choice would be priestly garb.
