Oh my gosh, I'm so happy you're back on the comic!

I just happened to check in, saw you're back, and just had to say congrats on being able to spend time on a project you love. I'm also here to say thanks for coming back. I love your work and creativity as well and I'm happy I can appreciate more of the comic. It's actually the first comic I ever read in the fandom, so it's always been a piece of artwork I've really loved personally. I always keep it in mind when I recall my travels through the fandom.

I hope that doesn't stress you out or anything about expectations, cuz I certainly am just here to enjoy whatever you feel you wanna do and share. And of course, I hope you take good care and don't overwork yourself!

Oh jeez I really appreciate that. It's near and dear to me and working on it is genuinely so much fun and has helped my art grow. It's definitely been a learning experience and while I've always made it mostly for my own entertainment it has always, to this day, blown me away how many people enjoy it, and are along for the ride. In spite of everything, time and unintentional breaks and all XD. Thank you <3

I just noticed something, but it's probably already been noticed, and I figured I ahould ask. The fact that the kids and trolls and their danscestors have alined claspect differences, is that taken into account? For instand, Equius is a Heir of Void and Zahhak is a Page of Void. Same goes for John being a Heir of Breath and Jake beong a Page of Hope. The Heir abd Page thing is juat... coincidence? Or is it something to think about?

It’s not explicitly true, Dave and Dirk are Knight/Prince but Karkat and Kankri are Knight/Seer. Same with Rose and Roxy, they’re Seer/Rouge and Terezi and Latula are Seer/Knight. Now, do have in mind that John’s counterpart is Jane, not Jake. He’s Jade’s.

It’s not much of a coincidence, in my opinion, just a very similar approach. There’s probably not much to look into here. If I had to guess I’ll say it is because of the similarities between characters. Not to mention there are only 12 classes to pick from (if you’re not hardcore like the cherubs). And honestly, Hussie just likes to work with certain types of characters. On top of the fact that the dancestors were probably unplanned, but don’t quote me on that.

Me three months ago: oh, I'll write my college essay about gender!

Me two months ago: okay so "gender" is a super vast topic... I think I'll name my essay "Is gender binary?" and then prove that it's not!

Me now: *crying in a corner* HUBRIS! H U B R I S ! HOW DID I THINK I WAS IN ANY WAY QUALIFIED TO TALK AHOUT GENDER??? SUCH A COMPLEX, WEIRD CONCEPT!
