NoAlexandria Egypt Tour is complete without visiting the iconic Bibliotheca Alexandrina. This contemporary library pays homage to the legendary Great Library of Alexandria, which was a beacon of knowledge in the ancient world. Its innovative design and extensive collection of books and artifacts make it a must-visit.
Another highlight is the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa. These ancient tombs reflect a fascinating fusion of Egyptian, Greek, and Roman cultural elements. As you descend into the catacombs, the intricate carvings and burial chambers transport you to a time when Alexandria was a melting pot of civilizations.
For those interested in maritime history, the Alexandria National Museum offers a treasure trove of artifacts discovered from underwater excavations. These remnants of the city’s illustrious past shed light on its role as a pivotal hub in the ancient world.
Journey South to the Mysteries of Aswan
