Happy Kagepro Day!!!

#kido tsubomi #seto kousuke #kano shuuya #kagerou project #kagepro #choco art #last thursday I was like “oh shit. I don't have anything ready for the fifteenth”#And then rushed to make these #there are a few things I'd like to change or adjust on some of them (like the colors on kido's) but aside from that I'm pretty happy #seto's was the hardest. first I kept trying to daw a bird for the silhouette window thing #but I kept erasing it because I wasn't happy with it #then I was flicking through my screenshots of his song's video and realized "wait. What if the tv him and little him are sitting on is the #ilhouette? Then I kept the birds but put them in a circular pattern in a way reminiscent of how the scissors and knives(?) were around him #in certain shots (btw. does anyone have ANY idea what the gossip he was getting from that bird in his introduction was?)#The background I wish I had done more with but I was drawing a blank on ideas so... the outside of Mary's house it is #kano's - in contrast - was the easiest.#I was like “his silhouette's a cat. the background will definitely be a reference to his song.”#Honestly the masks were the hardest part because it was a little difficult to get good pics of any other than the red-eyed mask #Also something looks off about him to me but I wasn't about to fight the picture so I didn't fiddle with it too much before inking #maybe his face just translates into my style weirdly #not much to say about Kido. Except I really wish I did the equalizer bars differently and will definitely be changing that if I ever get ar #und to making these digitally. Also #I'd alter the shades of colors I chose for the music staffs but that bugs me a lot less than those fri #cking equalizer bars #did I really just go on a whole ass rant about my decisions in these drawings?#I guess I did. My kitten has a new favorite teeny tiny mouse toy that we got at her first vet checkup and she loves it so much. We call it her mousey. She goes crazy over it and could play with it for hours, but sometimes she bats it somewhere she can't reach and we have to get it for her

Today she was getting into a bunch of stuff she shouldn't and I realized that I hadn't seen her playing with her mousey all day. So I asked out loud (rhetorically) "where's your mousey?" and started looking for it so I could give her that to play with instead. As soon as I said that though she walked over to a box of my gf's craft stuff and started pawing behind it, and when I moved it the mousey was right there

She knows the word mousey and she led me to her toy so I could get it for her 🥺 she's such a smart baby

#shes still running around with it shes so cute. i can hear her collar jingling even from the other room #shes only like 11 weeks old and shes already so smart!#it seems like she has a really strong hunting instinct too. i bet she would make an excellent mouser if we lived on a farm lol #this mouse toy is tiny compared to her other ones but its the most realistic looking #and while she does also love feather toys (until she pulls all the feathers out lol) this is her favorite toy by far #she also keeps like trying to attack drawings of bugs lol #my gf printed off some business cards with drawing of beetles on them for her cosplay stuff #and before she had finished cutting them out when they were still just laying on the floor #astrid went over there and just started smacking the heck out of them lol #like she was staring very intently at the beetle and smacking it HARD with precision over and over #she did the same thing with our otgw dvd case a few days later lol so i guess she thinks greg and wirt look like bugs?#anyway shes a very cute and smart baby #also very brave. our other two cats are scaredy babies and run and hide at the slightest provocation #lawnmowers for example are one thing that make them scared so if they hear one outside theyll run and hide #the first time astrid heard one tho she was just curious. she walked over to the window to try and figure out what the sound was #she was too tiny to jump up there on her own at that time so i picked her up so she could look outside #and she just watched it with curiosity. and now that shes big enough to jump up on her own she does the same thing lol #its so cool to see her unique personality evolving as she grows up. i love her so much #rambling

good news: got my window screen fixed without having to even look at let alone interact with the horribly sexist maintenance guy who obviously hates me

bad news: he left the front door open and patched the screen with what looks like hot glue

#so there’s a bunch of stray cats around my job #i work in a group home so there’s like a neighborhood and then woods and highway on the other side #and a little calico follows me to my car #rubbing against me leg n what not #no collar #so i was like erm #oh ok yeah #ur mine now #joking lol #so before i make the decision to take her home i start investigating #so i put her in my car and i start going door to door to ask if she belongs to anyone #(outdoor cats destory the ecosystem btw n are invasive so like also keep that in mind)#(n we have a huge stray cat problem already)#so i get to this one neighbor and he’s like oh that cat is stray #she’s outside all the time and my wife and i feed her #so im like all giddy #start driving home with miss thing #and she looking out the window #all of a sudden this old woman and her daughter start beeping and screaming at me #that that cat is their neighbors cat #so i pull over and theyre flipping the fuck out about how i /stole birdie/#like EXCUSE ME #TELL YOUR NEIGHBOR TO BE A BETTER FUCKING OWNER #anyway the took the kitty n brought her back to her home rip
