I do not think I’ve talked about my Demon Cat Yuan here so ima do that

Basically, it all starts out with the WRP jiejies adopting a small white cat. Their pet is heavily doted on and can even do tricks! He’s a very smart boy!

That cat is transmigrated Shen Yuan.

When he wakes up in his little cat body his really confused and scared, like what else would you be when you’re a stray kitten by yourself. One of the jiejies find him and he decides “you can do no wrong to me and I’m gonna stick with you forever”

Is he a little embarrassed with a bunch of scantily clad women surround him? I mean yea, of course. But also! He’s a cat! It doesn’t matter!

So the jiejies take care of their cute little kitten, none the wiser that it’s a demon.

Eventually, Shen Jiu comes to visit them and is introduced to the small creature. He’s… hesitant at first, most small creatures don’t like him, but hey this little kitten is friendly so why not. With his petting and prodding he suddenly feels something abnormal for a cat, but perfectly normal for a demon.

And thus he has to take it away from his jiejies, to protect them!

So off to QJP Shen Yuan goes, tucked around Shen Jiu. Nobody seems to realize it’s in fact a demon except for him so SJ keeps him around for awhile. SY is quickly known as a pampered white cat belonging to QJP and anyone messing it will face quick retribution.

As SJ cultivates SY is fascinated by it, and tries it for himself, leading to humanized cat demon. When SJ realizes he can transform he uses the cat for spying and SY doesn’t mind(he totally doesn’t realize who SJ is yet lmao)

Eventually SY realize who SJ is and kinda freaks out, but not really, as he guides the man down a path where he hopefully won’t be a human stick.

This includes things from gaslighting SJ to not be a dick to saving both SJ and LQG in the caves so both survive with intact cores. He also fights off the demon invasion after dumping them both on MQF.

Which leads to the sect realizing they’ve had a demon this whole time, but they can’t do anything about it because SJ is wayyy to protective and SY goes back to being a ‘normal’ cat.

JiuYuan plot bunny

Shen Yuan transmigrates/reincarnates waay before the plot even begins, as a somewhat rich second or third son of a merchant family (cliché or clasic background? You decide) not specially sick nor a priority for his family as he's not likely to inherit almost anything he is send to cultivate to a small sect. Because who else will want their unremarkable son?

Turns out ranting about poetry in the street with a vendor is a sure way to make someone important want their unremarkable son.

Enter the current Lord of Qing Jing who saw a gremlin with taste and opinions and immediately wanted him. Also the immediate moment when Shen Yuan finds out where exactly he was reborn in (pray for him). So Shen Yuan gets to join directly into QJP if he passes the other test and well, the story wont go on if he doesn't so let's say he does.

His dumbass tries to make everyone believe he's lazy to avoid work like he did back home but Aha! Shizun is on his bs so in no time he's made head disciple. Natural teacher, excellent memory and talented swordsman (This nerd got too excited by swords and practiced so much he now is the best of his generation and he desperately wants you to know he didn't want for this to happen) it's like he was made to lead QJP!

Side note: LQG will be made head disciple of BZP in a year or so, that's why SY is the generation's best, currently.

Here comes the boy! Absolutely traumatized feral kitten Shen Jiu gets into CQM and QJP out of season and with his general attitude immediately gets enemies everywhere. Not problem! Da-Shixiong will show you around and- Oh? You don't want Da-Shixiong to speak with you? Alright. Just remember to get to dinner and sleep well, goodnight!

And just like that you get an oblivious Shen Yuan respecting a hesitantly curious Shen Jiu who, in turn, decides that the best thing to do with this interest is to find blackmail on SY and take his place as head disciple.

Cue shenanigans and hijinks with stalker SJ and unsuspecting SY. And them getting closer by basically respecting SJ's space and time and being a decent human?! What?!

So like bonding with a cat. Slow, respectfully and with lots and lots of treats. Once Shen Yuan figured out Shen Jiu's weakness is just sweets it's all over. Now hes SJ's shixiong and no one else's. No, shut up A-Yuan, they are not worth our time.

Does he trust SY unconditionally? He's getting there. Nighthunts and being saved like a damsel in distress once in a while helps, even if he gets hissy and pretends to not like it. More so when SY immediately turns to him for both counsel on investigations and to make sure he's safe while in the hunts. Also Shixiong spends almost all his time helping him in fixing his cultivation and teaching him the arts, even when no one else would give a shit, so he gets extra points by being a good boy to his A-Jiu.

Shen Yuan? He thinks he's being a good bro and helping SJ fix whatever made him such an ass in PIDW. He doesn't know what happened before SJ went to CQM nor his past as a slave, only thought he looked like a feral cat and acted accordingly. And yes, calling him A-Jiu is absolutely necessary to that recovery.

In the middle of this SY tries to make contact with TLJ to help him either run away with SXY or take out the OPM so the tragedy doesn't happend. But shit hits the fan and SY gets outed as a demon sympathizer when the sealing under a mountain still happens but he tries to reason with the CQM's sect leader that the demon was innocent.

No one can prove that he was a traitor but under the added presure of public sentiment he's punished severely. Sect leader gives him two choices; He either leaves and retrieves a mega ultra rare mcguffin that'll take him 20 years to get or gets banished immediately and losses any standing he has with the sect.

In simple terms: Prove your loyalty with this very difficult quest or leave.

As a pseudo-compromise sect leader promised no one will take his place if he leaves for the quest nor will they banish SJ for being so close to a posible traitor. SY, naturally, accepts the quest with all the spite and grief of someone who failed his true quest of saving his best friend and the world too he supposes.

But QJP cannot be without a Head disciple nor a Peak Lord! Because plot twist, the lords are preparing to ascend in the next like 5 years. Sect leader knew this, and this is his way to force QJ's peak lord to appoint a different head disciple when SY is away anyways. If that happens SY will lose everything anyways, even if he comes back.

So the strategists get together and make a plan.

Shen Yuan will leave in his quest but before that he'll marry someone trusted that can be acting peak lord in his absence but will not usurp his place. Doble plot twist! That person is Shen Jiu because just as SJ got mellower with SY's influence so did SY get more paranoid. He only trust his dear shidi and no one else but oh how could he force his shidi into- Oh? You'll do it? Why do i have to be the wif-

And they marry in semi secret, taking a small moment for SJ to make him doble promise to come back for him and to give his own doble promise to wait for his return. SJ doesn't like this, not one bit. But this time he's safe, in a position of power and tentatively ready to trust again. He'd rather have his husband with him at least for their wedding night but oh well, they don't get that. They make arrangements for SY to send letters to the WRP so SJ can know how he's doing even if he can't receive any in exchange. It'll be a lonely 20 years.

Shen Yuan leaves and Shen Jiu gets appointed acting head disciple and then acting peak lord. With his silks and his husband's name as a shield (Qingqiu is SY's, but he can use it because they married) he rules QJP much more detached than in PIDW, almost completely ignoring the disciples. This is his A-Yuan's work after all and if he wants it done he better hurry and come do it himself. They've always joked that SY would teach while SJ would govern the peak, even before ever discussing marriage (It didn't matter that A-Yuan didn't know they would eventually get married. They would have regardless)

And Yue Qingyuan you didn't ask? He's in the background wanting to talk to Xiao-Jiu constantly but SJ doesn't need him nor want him. SY's therapy helped him let go if not forgive YQY, he's at the point where he can just ignore him. YQY on the other hand is guiltily ecstatic SY is out of the picture and Xiao-Jiu can be peak lord and rule at his side. Just like he wanted!

Like that 15 years pass. SJ still gets a reputation of going to brothels even if its to read his hubby's letters and sleep. And at this point all other peak lords either forgot he's technically just acting peak lord or never knew there was another Shen-Shixiong who should be peak lord instead.

At this point I'm not sure how to proceed. It'll have to be either:

a) Shen Yuan comes back during the demon invasion or

b) He comes when they are having a peak lord meeting for conveniences sake

Let's do invasion for dramatic purposes.

So you have a supremely pissed off SJ dealing with the demons and watching as the runt of his peak desperately tries to beat his opponent while making a mockery out of their QJP fighting style (LBH is actually doing pretty good, SJ is just Like That™) when suddenly a sword only he recognizes flies faster than a bullet to stop the defeated demon from attacking the little beast and the whole place falls into silence. SJ can hear his pulse in his ears, he almost can't breathe.

The disciples are looking at him for instructions but he can't think of anything as the most beautiful face he has ever seen slowly walks out of the trees into the improvised arena. His hair is finally long now, but not even close to well cared for. His clothes dusty and well worn but not threadbare nor stained with ink like it usually was in their disciple days. His A-Yuan is glorious as he makes the demons run like the pathetic bugs they are.

LQG has come too but there's not more fighting to be had, only a couple reunited at last. SJ sends decorum through the window and yanks his A-Yuan into a long awaited kiss in front of basically every disciple and an enraged and flustered LQG (Man is having the weirdest awakening)

SY is surprised at first but quickly reciprocates, finally at peace with his feelings. Because guess what, 15 years of pinning + letters that slowly become romantic without the fear of retribution will do just fine for him to admit he fell in love with his husband at some point. He was scared shitless of SJ reaction to him coming back and it was only that promise what made him go home regardless. A-Jiu can hate him, but he is NOT breaking that promise. He even made it 5 years earlier, isn't he such a good husband?

Later in the emergency meating LQG is still screaming at them for shameless and inmoral and how could this be the first thing Shen Yuan does when he comes back when they could've just spared

And everyone else (minus YQY, SQH and the beast peak lord) are just like What? Who's this? And SY looks at YQY disapprovingly (He knows YQY covets his wife and purposely didn't tell them) and explains he's the QJ peak lord and SJ as his husband has been ruling QJ in his stead for the past 15 years. And yes, that's why SJ is sitting in his lap.

When the whole story comes out everyone is more surprised to know they are married than the fact SY made the last sect leader so angry he was basically given a suicide mission (Not even YQY knew that) but don't worry! He has absolutely no inclination of taking his A-Jiu's position away. He'd rather teach his little disciples and let his wife to berate their martial siblings as is his right (Someone said they'll be happy having SY instead of SJ in meetings from now on and He Did Not Like That) So they'll share the name Qingqiu as QJ has two peak lords from now on.

Now if they'll excuse them they have a wedding night to finally enjoy.

Fox demon sy au, except more demon and less uwu.

After dying due to expired food, SY wakes up as a fox demon with a natural affinity to poisons and poisoning. He is unamused at the irony, thanks, but at the same time... he IS kind of in some chaotic demon realm adjacent like place and needs all the help he can get, so ... thanks?

His transmigration even came with a subspace for drying and preserving herbs and ingredients, and an encyclopedic manual of all the possible tinctures, ingredients, and handling procedures installed into his brain.

Pretty adequate, although the subspace can only take medicinal ingredients and can't be used for growing/raising ingredients, and the manual is so massive SY feels like it will take decades to read. (Spoilers: it does take decades to read)

Cool, SY thinks, I can be a wandering apothecary and stuff - but of course things don't turn out like that, because why wouldn't this world be full of poisonous plants that require... um ... *alternative* methods of healing.

After the fifth time someone tries to force SY to cure someone with papapa, he says fk it and, unable to escape in more conventional ways, he poisons his way out of the demon lord's castle.

SY is also beginning to understand which world he's been transmigrated to and is cursing a "Master Airplane" under his breath nonstop as he stomps angrily away from rando demon lord's territory, almost no guilt in his heart because the dude and his vassals eat people and are *assholes*.

SY starts using the direct method (aka poison) in refusing persistent inquisitors that want help he's unwilling to give (whether it's papapa or just a matter of principle) and slowly becomes known more for poisoning than cures. Doesn't help that SY has evolved from death-poisons to poisons that would make you wish you were dead.

Soon SY is known as a fox who would rather kill you than speak to you.

At first SY feels upset about this, because after all that work curing people, killing people is what he's known for? But eventually he's like, whatever gets people to stop bothering me~.

After decades, SY has embraced getting his way with his pretty face and poisonings, becoming a bit of a naughty foxy, and is enjoying his life away from the plot and with much less harrassment by the demons.

He's gained the title of Poisonous Shoutao (longevity peach), and his reputation as a venomous fox demon who could cure whatever ails you but would rather poison you has grown far and wide (as well as his foxy bewitching ways as he gloats over poisoning you).

SY has a long list of admirers and haters alike, including those grateful for his healing and those who want revenge for his poisonings, but what good demon *doesn't* have an enemy or 20?

And then one of his haters sets him up to be the scapegoat of a rash of poisonings in some human communities, and suddenly SY is the target of some pony-tailed pretty boy head disciple from Cang Qiong with a mole, who hasn't realized that the Poisonous Shoutao is outside of his capabilities... after paralyzing the boy, SY thinks about just ending the kid but... well, SY has used his pretty face to sway others before, but this is the first time he's been swayed by a pretty face.

B-besides, it's probably better to avoid making enemies of Cang Qiong, no matter where in the plot they are right now! So SY just teases the kid until the kid's practically steaming (out of anger? or...), reveals he's NOT the culprit, and disappears into the night with a faint scent of nightshade lingering behind.

Expecting it all to be done and dusted after that, SY is surprised to find out that the pretty boy now has a vendetta against him and has sworn to take him down.

Cue cat-and-mouse interactions all over the two realms with a poisonous (and slightly flirty) fox demon chased by a serious (but easily flustered - at least when it comes to a certain fox) young cultivator.

Okay but Mocking bird demon SY (has shapeshifting powers) pretending to be SQQ to help LBH. No system, SJ lives, just SY will not let his protagonist be miserable. He optionally also wife beams LQG who is extremely confused and horny as to why SQQ is playing hot and cold with him

i LOVE that idea oh my goodneeees!!! all the shen yuan bird aus are a GIFT that keeps on GIVING!!

as a bird he can easily live on mount cang qiong and get around unnoticed, because what peak lord or disciple is going to look twice at a small, grey silver bird? it allows him to stay close to luo binghe and help him in every way he can, from giving him food he carries in his little talons or beak, singing to him when he's down, keeping him company in the forest, to making silly mimic sounds to make him laugh.

i looked up a little about mockingbirds and apparently they're extremely territorial when raising hatchlings and their nest (attacking even cats, hawks and humans), which is perfect because luo binghe is (definitely!) a helpless hatchling in need of protecting, i mean, technically his wings haven't even properly grown in yet, he can't fly! so cue ming fang and other bullies getting relentlessly attacked when they try to come near binghe.

and then the shapeshifting: from what i've gathered, mockingbirds sing regularely at night, so i can imagine shen yuan waiting until nightfall and shen jiu goes to bed when he makes his move. he dons the master's form, goes to the woodshed, and takes binghe out to train in the forest with a real manual. of course, binghe is immediately enamoured with the man shen qingqiu becomes when night falls, maybe he even starts to think it's a "werewolf" thing where he changes when the moon comes up, because there isn't really any explanation to why the soft words, gentle touches and kind eyes turn into sneers, violence and glares as soon as the sun is up!

bc he does have the protagonist halo, and even in canon binghe knew something was up, i think he figures it out eventually when he starts alluding to certain events that never happened but that his "shizun" plays along with. also the bird has the exact same way of petting his head/ruffling his hair as his night-shizun does. one and one equals two, after all.

and liu qingge yeeeessss!! if in this au shen yuan saved him in the caves as well, he's probably getting such a headache from the complete 180s shen qingqiu keeps making!! one moment everything is great, shen qingqiu is tending to his wounds with such gentleness and a kind smile, and when liu qingge runs into him at night (when shen qingqiu always looks kind of... hurried, for some reason, almost a little nervous), they share a smile and a laugh and one time shen qingqiu even hugged him; but then when liu qingge tries to sit next to him at the meetings suddenly he's getting snarled at, called a dumb dirty beast and to sit elsewhere?? hello??? never mind getting invited into the bamboo house, or shen qingqiu accepting his (dead animal) gifts.

i also think it'd be so really funny if shen yuan ended up not caring about continuation errors or consistent character behavior, and just goes all out on the OCC by being kind to everyone in shen qingqiu's form; flirting with liu qingge, cuddling with yue qingyuan, spoiling luo binghe rotten, gifting mu qingfang all kinds of rare herbs that he can find easily in his demon bird form, and generally being a moon-saint that everyone comes to realize isn't actually shen qingqiu, but since he's doing good for the community and not harming anyone, they kind of just..... leave it. the peak lords have a meeting about it (sans shen jiu of course), and they decide the night-qingqiu can stay.

tho i do think yue qingyuan would ask shen yuan to don a different form.

also also, shen yuan getting up to all kinds of mischief by mimicking other peak lords' voices: calling to disciples with their shizun's voice, watching them get all confused because no one's there?? or making shang qinghua go around in circles because he keeps saying "this way, shang qinghua, hurry up!" in an angry liu qingge voice. and also making shen jiu open the door to no one when he mimics yue qingyuan's voice. there's a LOT he can do with it🤭

Just thought I'd throw some ideas out.

SY and SQH get turned into cats.

Since they've got cat brains their inhibitions are all gone, so kitty SY is cuddling with LQQ and rubbing against everyone, especially his disciples. He bats his paws at people who get too close to his disciples.

While kitty SY loves LQQ, kitty SQH wants him dead. All his frustration from LQQ not turning in his paperwork is coming out in his cat form.

I also just have this image of kitty SY on LQQ shoulders while he trains his disciples. They are all staring but LQQ doesn't even acknowledge it.

Also, kitty SQH hiding himself in MJ's fluffy coat and yowling and hissing at demons that get too close to MJ. He's no longer pretending to be cowardly he's just an angry little kitty now.

I can imagine SY batting SQH's head and it breaking out in a all out brawl but no one steps in to separate them cause their eyes would get clawed out (LQG tried once and came out looking like he challenged a meat grinder)

I know the attendant!sy is a liushen fic but... I'm sorry, but my brain literally can't stop turning SQQ's and SY's relationship over a fire like a very juicy roast. Not even in a slash way just... Like, a god tried to stuff Some Guy in his body, failed, made him a new one and SQQ's brilliant idea was to adopt him as an overworked TA/stray cat. The guy is from a different world entirely, knows just about everything about this world and hates his guts. He has a very good reason to hate his guts. That's fine tho, SQQ believes this is a perfectly normal reaction to him because he literally can't concieve someone NOT hating him. SY being grudgingly grateful is the highest level of regard SQQ is capable of tolerating/understanding. He hates his guts back and yet still takes care of him. He overworks him to the point everybody thinks SY is gonna drop dead any minute and thinks this is perfectly normal, that was how SQQ lived 90% of his life. This man should not be within hearing distance of a child and pounced on the opportunity to put a socially acceptable buffer between himself and his disciples. Tearing his limbs off wouldn't be enough to admit he cares one iota about SY and yet he's probably planning ten different ways to discreetly poison LQG if he so much as looks at SY. This is probably the best relationship (non-romantic or otherwise) SQQ has in his life rn and if that doesn't terrify everyone who hears about it then I don't know what does.

ive tried to write like 5 different replies to this and theyre all incoherent AUGHHH anyway lets just get into it

one of the most interesting things that i wanted to explore in this au was if sqq and sy had to exist in somewhat close proximity to each other. the truth of the situation is that sqq is actually a lot more lax about watching sy than shen yuan makes it out to be. in reality a lot of sqq's outward expression towards shen yuan is very blank or dismissive. sqq will only really step in if he thinks that someone is trying to take shen yuan away from him. but if shen yuan was in actual physical danger like a demonic beast or a roof caving in, sqq would not move to help him. AHHHH its hard to explain super clearly.

shen qingqiu sees shen yuan as something that is "his" in a more metaphysical sense. although the system could have torn his life apart and shen yuan could have ruined his image and stolen his place, that didnt happen, and instead, shen qingqiu was given essentially an ace-in-the-hole. shen yuan, to him, was almost divinely given, even if it was by divine fuck-up.

shen qingqiu would see shen yuan being in danger as basically natural selection though. he wouldnt keep someone around that couldnt handle themselves, so shen yuan has to get out of conflicts himself. if someones tries to take shen yuan from him though, thats pretty much interfering with the will of the gods, and trying to take someone from qing jing peak (his assistant specifically), so in that instance, shen qingqiu would step in

its interesting tho, shen qingqiu really does just see shen yuan as an assistant. a divinely ordained assistant, but still

please don't kidnap Bingqiu's daughter. *teary emoji* I want as much as the next person for Shen Yuan and Bingge to have their own kid, but please please please, don't make that kid Bingqiu's kidnapped daughter, they deserve their happiness.

OR, if you are going to kidnap her, let it be temporarly, something like:

Bingge, grabbing Bingqiu daughter with a single hand like she's a hissy cat: Look, Qinglan, we can make a better version of this.

Shen Yuan, about to jump over: PUT HER BACK WHERE SHE CAME FROM, ALSO, YOU'RE CHOCKING HER-

Shen Hengxia (aka Bingqiu baby) could eat Bingge for breakfast, so there's no need to worry about her. If Bingge ever kidnapped her, it would be a "Ransom of Red Chief" type of situation--he'd be paying her dads to take her back by day 2. Not that they would ask for payment, but Hengxia is a little hellion in comparison to Bingge's four relatively well-behaved children. 😂

But more seriously, Bingge would never so much as approach a child born to Bingmei and SY!Shen Qingqiu, much less kidnap one. He saw fatherhood as a means of "surpassing" Bingmei, because he assumed that SVSSS's Luo Binghe lost the chance to be a father when he married Shen Qingqiu. If he ever found out about Hengxia, the mere fact of her existence would break Bingge's heart.

As I mentioned in previous asks, the version of Luo Binghe we see in A Wife by Any Other Name is a) mired in self-hatred due to his role in Qin Wanyue's death and Ning Yingying's postnatal depression, b) incredibly lonely, as he's been distant from most of his wives since Luo Nianzu's birth out of fear of causing another death, and c) under the impression that his own birth and Su Xiyan's death were the results of rape or rape by deception, as he knows nothing about his origins aside from what the Old Palace Master told him.

The Old Palace Master also led him to believe that demon-human pregnancies were inherently deadly for human birthing parents, and that Hua Zhihan (the Little Palace Mistress) was incredibly lucky to survive her pregnancy. By doing so, the OPM hoped to limit the number of children Luo Binghe fathered so that his own grandchild would enjoy greater favor in court, and encourage Luo Binghe to consider having future children with the Little Palace Mistress.

Bingge was suspicious of the Old Palace Master's intentions, since Ning Yingying's doctors had informed him that postpartum depression was fairly common in new mothers and had nothing to do with a child's parentage. As a result, Bingge took a chance and decided to let Qin Wanyue have a child; and as of the beginning of AWBAON, he still holds himself completely responsible for her death, Su Xiyan's death, and Ning Yingying's continued illness.

By this point, Bingge knows a few ways for a couple to have a biological child without either of them having to carry the baby, but he's in no state to consider going down that road with Shen Yuan, or to cope with the fact that Bingmei had a child with his Shen Yuan after marrying him. ;-;

Just a pair of doodles poorly made, in which I depict how I think Shen Yuan looks most of time in the Vampire AU fanfic "Forever to Learn" of @oh-no-a-whovian .

I have a little bit of the idea that, except for the clothes that SY has received for Heiran-jun, he chooses more practical than pretty robes, because of taking care of the garden, that implies to kneeling and get dirty, and the baby draconian cats that could use the excess fabric of the larger and nicer robes to bite, climb on him, or to knead, because they are of nice fabrics, that feel good to play with.

I draw him here with an undergarment that expose a bit of his clavicle because I think Heiran-jun will have fun to give the "little vampire" clothes that beside of finely done, are also catching at the eye. And Shen Yuan just brush them off as "demonic styled", and uses them with a little more conservative clothes, because of his Xianxia memories.

( I also tried to draw him with the clothes tied in the wrong way? I don't remember if that understanding is Japanese only or not, but is supposed that the robes tied in "wrong direction" strongly implies that that person is dead already. )

I know that somewhere in the beginning it was stated that Shen Yuan has hair to the length of his hips, but also, have, allegedly, been more of 100 years since then, and I think that even in China is believed that hair grows a little after death. So, in this, the hair length is already below the knees.

Anyway. I was just suddenly inspired for the last 9 chapter, so, this doodle. 🤗

Hi there! Just found your Tumblr yesterday and fell in love with your writing style. Keep up the good work 👍

I had an Au idea I wanted to share. It's a Solo Leveling x SVSSS crossover au with some Shencest.

Basically, after he dies, Shen Yuan is reincarnated as a rare white cat spirit/demon child that can heal any injury and who's blood can cure any illness or poison. However, his race is believed to be a myth. (Of course until LHB finds & kills the last remaining one to cure his wife's incurable disease)

Anyway, SY is found by Sung Jinwoo, who promptly adopts the young cat boy seeing as there are no parents in sight.

SY being raised by sjw, Beru, Igris and the shadows.

SY likes to explore in his cat form often and one day, is picked by none other than Qiu Haitang (SY doesn't figure this out till later). Thinking SY is an ordinary cat, she takes him home.

While at the Qiu Manor, SY meets Shen Jiu. SY doesn't think much of SJ until he notices the bruises and scars carefully hidden underneath his clothes.

SY ends up staying at the Qiu Manor after witnessing SJ being beaten by Qiu Jianluo. SY reveals himself to SJ after healing the slave's injuries.

SY tries to convince SJ to escape with him, but SJ refuses, still under the belief that Qi-ge is going to come for him.

SY eventually snaps (likely when qjl attempted to sa SJ) and after nearly mauling qjl to death, SY grabs SJ and books it out of the Qiu Manor.

Afterwards, SJ ends up living with SY in sjw's huge mansion.

SJ ends up falling for SY and SY...being SY, is completely obvious to SJ's clear feelings for him. But you know who isn't? Beru! As soon as he notices, he goes into matchmaker mode.

SJ still ends up going to cang qiong mountain and a peak lord, while SY becomes a famed miracle healer as well as his well informed bestiaries.

This along with SY's status as the son of the mysterious, yet powerful cultivator sung Jinwoo causes, SY to gain a number of suitors, much to SJ's annoyance and anger.

Of course, SJ isn't gonna let anyone take his place by SY.

Ah yes, Luo Binghe, the human-shaped meteorite bringing about the 5th wave of mass extinction .

Anyhow, I think instead of Sung Jinwoo who decided to take home a cat to raise, it was either (or both) Beru wanting to have a pet cat or Shen Yuan deciding he needs a thigh to cling because being a wild animal is so much harder than he expected. He's only meant for a life of pampering and spoiling like a proper indoor cat, okay?!

And like a scum cat, Shen Yuan likes sneaking out during the day and finding a "second" owner to feed and pamper him (and who doesn't realize that this cat already has owners and thus is getting twice the meals). It just so happens to be the Qiu family that's his second family. The mistress family, if you will.

And that's how Shen Yuan meets Shen Jiu and forcible takes Shen Jiu away like a naughty kitten.

Although I'm not sure how in your AU a human is going to fall in love with a cat? I mean a demon cat is still a cat. And no where in this do you bring up a cat having a human form so...

murder cat sword only likes its wielder's boyfriend by PandaFlower - out of the abyss, lbh washes up near the little house of sy, a wan jian peak disciple. it takes 0.5 seconds for sy to fall in love with lbh's crazy demon sword xin mo, and slightly longer for sy to take a proper interest in lbh himself 🤭
