can you guys imagine how fucking funny it would have actually been if Edwin HAD just gotten frisky with the Cat King that first meeting like. Edwin pops up outta thin air several hours after being abducted by an unknown entity intent on punishing a serious transgression and Charles and Crystal are just like. What happened? What did he do? Do we have to run? What's going on????? And Edwin is just clearing his throat and hastily straightening his bowtie and if his voice cracks when he tells them "don't be ridiculous, I told you I had everything well in hand" then that's his business. Charles would chew through the walls at Edwin not telling them how he got out of being punished 💀

At first I thought I wouldn’t have Saint wear earrings again because they never wanted them in the first place, but then something something reclaiming something forced on you by a controlling/abusive parent and using it as a way to express yourself and now I’m crying

They just look so happy idk man

ANYWAYS not to be emotional or anything lol uhhhhh yeah their new earrings were made out of lizard teeth by Arti (short for Artist I guess since she can make jewlery now.) Having earrings that aren’t like super fancy or pretty sort of represents that Saint doesn’t have to be perfect anymore. Currently in the story even though Saint and Inv got away from their mom, Saint is still extremely anxious all the time because of how strict she was with them. They will eventually heal, they just need some time and some unconditional love, which they’ll get from their amazing sibling and eventual girlfriend (once said gf heals enough from her own trauma to have a healthy relationship lol)

[18 May 2022] Is Ren touch starved?

Very. the only people Ren has ever been close with (aside from you, of course) were his mother and sister. But it's been years since he's last seen either of them, and he honestly doesn't really care about them anymore.

He also has zero relationship experience, no friends, and was bullied all throughout school, so... :') /please/ give him a hug or something lmao

20 Feb 2024 EDIT: Slight correction and retcon; While Ren has never fully considered River as his friend (RIP LMAO), in every sense of the word; he would be. Ren is simply unable to form connections with other people who aren't Angel, thus making him believe that River is someone irrelevant and expendable. He does tolerate him more than anyone else, however.
