Everyone involved in composing this scene because Lou as Tommy was a VISION of masculine beauty in it. And also Tim for bringing in Lou so we can have this. And also Lou for playing Tommy as a besotted boyfriend.

kinda ironic that it took marvel fans to acknowledge and appreciate joe’s looks on top of his range as an actor, some even admitting they were wrong and some even starting heartstopper because of him lol

Okay so I recently started being an interpreter at school functions (I'm fluent in Spanish) and I wanted to make a Gren appreciation post because that man is PERFECT and a real depiction of what interpreters actually do.
He translates directly, with no "she says" "he wants to know" etc, is impartial (I mean, we know he backs her up no matter what, but he doesn't insert his opinion or twist ANY words [other than censoring her] in the middle of conversation), doesn't overtly react, and doesn't go off on side-tangents with one of the people involved mid-conversation.
AND that makes scenes when he's not interpreting for Amaya hit even harder. Like, yes, he's her interpreter, but he's also her best friend (and technically that violates rules of biases, but shhhh). Let them be stupid!
You can really tell that Adrian Petriw (Gren VA), the writers, creators, and animators all did their research-- research that wasn't just skimming Wikipedia articles. They cared about the story they were telling and the people they were representing and it's just- it's so beautiful.

I love seeing the outpouring of love for Walker!!! From everyone-cast, crew, writers, guest stars. It’s a testament to what Jared and the others built and continued. As one of the testimonials (I think Matt Pascua?) said it sets a very high bar for future work. I’m so sad to see it go, but so proud of the show.
They've done amazing work in the face of so many obstacles. If there is a silver lining, it's that the cast and crew can leave knowing they did their very best and created something worth remembering.

If Rick Kosick has a million fans, then I'm one of them. If Rick Kosick has one fan, then I'm THAT ONE. If Rick Kosick has no fans, that means I'm dead.

actually, because of that secret secret i just read, i’m going to post this thought before i forget about it, actually — for the last few days i’ve been turning over the idea of dan heng x reader where the reader, a chef or at least competent cook, joins the express and works as chef to save everybody from himeko’s… creative dinner plans (inspired by the recent event)… and there’s something about the effortless, easy confidence with which you navigate the kitchen which dan heng admires. it’s an art form of its own, really.
(plus, as i mentioned, everyone loves you because you’re there to step in and lend some guidance when himeko decides it’s her turn to cook…..)
#idk the domestic vibe is just on point#i WAS thinking that i have to give reader some trauma because like… come on. be serious here. we can’t have them be UNtraumatised#but… for the first time ever… i think i might not give them intense and horrific trauma?#maybe it’s the generous christmas spirit possessing me or something#but i feel like the reader being genuinely… fine is something the surrounding cast and especially dan heng could appreciate#because there’s no need to dwell in emotional baggage around them and it’s just very comforting#the reader does have some emotional struggles here of course — maybe something to do with their family? not a great relationship there?#there’s got to be a reason why they left their home to join the express#but i get the idea that they’re the kind of person who doesn’t dwell on hardship too much where they experience it#which doesn’t mean they’re 100% okay but they are pretty content with life most of the time#and again this easy-going-ness really helps dan heng wind down around them#plus cooking!#before reader joined i think the express crew had a cooking rota (now they do most of the cooking but sometimes someone else takes the helm#(stelle not included because she would unironically place a bin bag on the table and tell everyone to ‘eat up’)#(in fact this did happen once and is why she is no longer on the rota)#also! reader collecting recipes from every world they visit (especially from planets or people who are dwindling in number/ at risk)!#as a way of not only learning but also preserving the memories and cultural identities of different groups#reader asking dan heng to show them how to use & put these recipes in the data bank!#dan heng initially asking them how they made this one dish… and this spirals into routinely midnight cooking sessions#reader falling asleep in the archive/ dh’s room while organising their recipes after one such midnight cooking session#etc etc#i need to sleep now goodnight#r.ambling in the tags#dan heng x reader

spn making itself so meta with the supernatural books existing in-universe is one of the (if not the) weirdest decisions i've ever seen in media, and honestly it feels like it only exists to make fun of their own fans

@beatingheart-bride
"I admit, I'm a bit indecisive when it comes to my favorite fruit," August admitted with a smile to Erika, as he helped himself to a little red beans and rice. "I love peaches, but I do also love strawberries-on any given day, I could name either as my favorite."
"Do you like peach cobbler, or peaches and cream better?" Erika asked over her little plate of chicken nuggets and mac 'n cheese (matching her brother's meal), a small part of her glad to know she wasn't the only one who found it hard to pick a favorite. At this, August replied, "It's hard to decide, isn't it? If you twisted my arm, I'd likely choose cobbler, but...a little peaches and cream is more than welcome in my book."
"Strawberries are gross..." Lon groused with a little pout, while Erika conceded, "They're okay, I guess." She didn't have as big a reaction to eating them as her brother did; while she only made a little face upon trying them before pushing the little bowl of berries away, Lon had made quite a show of his disdain for the flavor, much to his parents' amusement, with Randall chuckling as he dug into his crawfish boil, "I really thought they'd take to 'em as quickly as I did, but no dice-more for me then, I suppose!"
"What about you, Dorian?" Josephine asked curiously, as she took another sip of Guinness, which she quite liked. "Do you have a favorite fruit?"
"I admit, when it comes to sweets, I tend to reach for a good piece of chocolate, but cards on the table, I quite like citrus, especially lemon. Lizzie's mother Lena loves to work with lemon in her cooking, even outside of her wonderful lemonade, so I guess it's no grand surprise I enjoy it so much," Dorian smiled with a shrug, before adding, "Lizzie and I compliment each other in that sense-she likes orange the best."
"Ah, you're a couple after my own heart then!" Josephine grinned brightly. "My friends and I loved to play around and make all sorts of drinks at each other's houses when we weren't working, and I always loved a nice, crisp vodka and orange juice mixed together after hours."
"What's vodka?" Erika asked curiously, to which her great-grandmother replied, "It's a grown-up drink made out of potatoes."
"Ew!" Lon gagged from his seat, at which Josephine giggled amusedly at his response, assuring him, "It doesn't really taste like potatoes, I promise. But it's nothing you two need to worry about-juices are better for you anyways."
Neither Lon nor Erika had any arguments about this, continuing to enjoy their meal and drinks without a second thought, with the topic eventually shifting to the twins' birthday, which got the pair all sorts of excited-though they did both sigh, "Awww..." when their father gently reminded them not to get nosy about learning any of the details for the party-they didn't want to spoil any of the surprises, now did they?

Laura's IG story
I love how excited Laura gets over our little show and the love she shares for the cast and crew. I'm sure that a large part of their devotion and care is because of her and Seamus' leadership.
And frankly, if Walker: Independence isn't renewed, it won't be due to any budgetary issues. Just imagine the amount of money saved by shooting a film in 6 1/2 days! And those are shorter days than most other tv sets.
