Oh I like that thought! We never did see a gem on that thing though, did we? Either way, I think the use of whip-like attacks was intentional, since the entire episode is Amethyst essentially attacking herself.

You bring up a good point! If nothing else, I would definitely assume Amethyst understands colloquialisms and slang more than the others, and would have an easier time talking to a human on a one-to-one level.

Hey I didn’t notice that! If we’re able to see Sugilite again, I’d be interested to see how much her outfit changes, and whether her stars stay tattered and torn.

Pony !! This is a cute idea! i'm casey from GA, i've been following you for a while - i've always really appreciated that you pay so much attention to the music in SU? I even sent you a link to aivi & surasshu's black box when you still did liveblogs on reddit! they've become one of my favorite musical artists. what are you listening to these days?

Oh yeah, another GA native! Are you stuck down south with me, or one of those dirty northerners? I kid - I honestly have no strong ties to my hometown. It kind of sucks? D:

YES - the music in SU is FAN-FLIPPING-TASTIC! And I remember you sending me that, and I appreciate it more than you know, because damn it’s good. 

Actually, on my main playlist that I listen to pretty frequently, I have one of their remixes from Animal Crossing - “K.K. Cruisin’.” That’s some goooood shit.

Other than that, I listen to a lot of Dan Croll, Years & Years, Clean Bandit, old Ellie Goulding, Foxes, and mostly just a lot of different stuff I find on soundcloud or YouTube. I tend to find songs that I fall in love, but when I check out the artist’s other stuff I’m not into it. Mostly electronic, I guess? Which is broad, I know, but it’s so hard to define. Anything with a good groove has my heart. I listen to “You Posted in the Wrong Neighborhood” unironically and unapologetically (although I’ve come to really love the base song, too!)

That could definitely be true, I just feel like the show is hinting at something more. Which, of course, could be a red herring, or me reading too far into it. I wouldn’t be opposed to this being the only reason, though - I just want to know for sure!

It’s not so much a callus as just this weird bump, almost like the bone in my thumb hardened or something. It doesn’t bother me much, but I do notice it from time to time. Do you still play? I need to pick mine up again!

I was in the exact same position a few weeks ago !! It came together a lot easier than I had expected. Although I felt like I definitely didn’t know how to use panels super effectively

haha oh man yeah I have little to no structure in my progress - I drafted what is currently panel 5 FIRST, then 1-3, not knowing whether I shove panel 4 in between 2-3 or just make it panel 4 after all, I have new ideas for arranging panels and speech bubbles better in between ALL THE TIME... it’s a mess!! But super fun and encourages me to draw QUICKER and looser which is a thing I -can- do pretty well but usually hold myself back from (bc I’m an indecisive chicken and justifity it with “b-but quality” mostly) ! It’s coming together though and I can’t wait to assemble the drafted panels and clean them up. It’s a good experience.

The offspring seemed fundamentally different than Holo-Pearl, but I get what you’re saying - they’re probably some sort of manifestation that the host gem creates. I just hope there’s some definitive answers along the way!

I think I do remember someone mentioning this to me at some point, which is amazing! Imagine creating some characters when you’re young and then having the ability to bring them to life and share them with the world. That must be an incredible feeling.

I almost want to try the Luther Burger, because it just sounds crazy enough to work, but at the same time sounds awful. Can anyone weigh in on this?

hey! i was just lookin through the tags on that post - just cos you asked, cartoon network UK released two clips from steven universe by accident, probably because they didn't know about some scheduling/bomb change in america. the two clips are HUGE spoilers of a future episode CLIMAX! the crewniverse has indirectly confirmed that this was a mistake and sucks. just want everyone to know how big the spoiler is before they make any decisions to watch them !!
