casino cups hc that builds off of my “elder kettle + cupbros were/are religious” hc: mugman and cuphead, after they’ve started working at the casino, don’t end up (still / rightfully) blaming the crew for them dying during the fights.

oh, no—they blame Azrael. Why? God only knows (cuz i sure as hell don’t). But they do.

It makes for an… awkward, to say the least, first meeting (or rather, reunion, because they had to have interacted with the guy at least a LITTLE bit while dead/during the fights, cuz, yk. Archangel of Death. Kinda his whole thing) the first time Azrael comes ‘round the Casino after the bros were hired.

Casino Cups Pachinko headcanons since this fandom needs to be fed

the entire reason the devil said he forgot what deal he had with Pachinko is because there never was a deal. Pachinko walked in with a resume trying to get his first job after moving to the isles and didn't think the casino was actually owned by the devil himself because he thought the name 'devils casino' was some sort of metaphorical thing.

The devil only really hired him because he was impressed that Pachinko had the balls to come in and actually ask to get a job. Also because Dice saw business opportunities in opening a pachinko (as in the game) section for the casino because all they'd have to do is buy a few pachinko machines and give Pachinko some job training.

Said job training was provided by Pirouetta.

Speaking of Pachinkos section its basically just a room with some pachinko machines in it and a counter to purchase the actual pachinko balls/redeem the balls won for money. Pachinkos main job is running said counter.

Pachinkos section is also one of the casinos more chill areas. Its a small niche section that's usually visited by the same few groups of people.

Every time Mugman gets cleaning duty he always takes that section since its usually never that dirty and its pretty chill. Gives him an excuse to take a 20 minute break.

Pachinko is only ever seen outside his section with Pirouetta because she's one of few people in the casino he trusts.

One time Dice was trying to find his lighter in his pocket to light a cigar and Pachinko walked by and lit the cigar for him using the head cannon (heh heh) flames he's got and Dice just stood there for a solid minute afterward because he had no idea Pachinko could do that.

Pachinko's been getting more worried about Mugman recently. He doesn't know that Mugmans studying immortality but he still notices Mugmans more frequent absences and tiredness.

Lil Lucifer au and Casino Cups Headcanons Silly edition!

-Pachinko worked at the devils casino during the events of the game he just called in sick that day

-Mugman has gone a week without sleeping before and has always just crashed (as in collapsing onto the ground) in the middle of his shift

-The daisy to this day continues to try and feed Cuphead and Mugman dirt.

-Raziel is scared of cucumbers

-Lucifer used to scratch and bite when fighting his siblings

-Gabriel does not know how to braid hair

-Their was no big love confession between Devil and Dice they just sorta went :

“wanna start dating?”

“sounds good to me.”

-Uriel gossips with Raguel in private sometimes

-Zadikel tries to eat those small squishy fidgets that are shaped like animals every time he sees one

-Lailah gets lost on earth very easily

-Cuphead has choked on a Cherry pit before, and will do so again

-Wheezy was a biter as a kid

- they grew up on a whole cottage in the sticks I swear I’m thinking this through pls

- their accent has grown to be more transatlantic from living in the city but it slips out when they get emotional

- cuphead doesn’t really care about it either way

- mugman would be insecure about it making him sound less “educated” or whatever but it also reminds him of elder kettle so he tries not to let it bother him

• also please take a moment to imagine mugman in the Mortal Blues scene but with a country accent like the movie Pearl where she screams about how she’s a star. heck imagine him and cuphead arguing like the scene where Pearl and her mom fight

they misspell a lot of common words due to them never being formally educated. like “seperate” “unecessary” “suprise” yknow

- mugman is like DEEPLY insecure about it but he does it less often because how often he reads. also probably gets weirder and more complicated words spelled correctly from writing his calix animi notes

- cuphead is also insecure about it but it didn’t bother him until more recently (with mugman kinda abandoning him for what they think is a whole entire professor) and also he probably gets even more common words mixed up like “are” and “our” and “they’re” “their” and “there”

when mugman changes into street clothes after work he calls them “civilian clothes” like genuinely fr. cuphead used to tease him for it like “oh what like you’re a superhero or something lol” but now he calls them civilian clothes too. ironically. kinda

so specific but neither of them would watch bluey because they both think it’s for kids but if they did watch it they’d like it methinks

- also wouldn’t watch it because it’s a healing show and these two are averse to anything therapeutic lmao

when mugman says some dork shit cuphead repeats it in a higher pitch and does the ☝️🤓 pose

cuphead used to cry a lot in front of/with mugman as kids, not so much anymore because. yknow.

casino cups/general cuohead hc: the cupbros, or more specifically elder, used to be religious, but after elder’s death and the fights and beating literal Satan’s ass they kind of just… stop. mugman still prays, sometimes, however. (sometimes, on the very bad days, the worst days, cuphead prays with them. mugman’s never been able to figure just whether he does it purely for their comfort or whether he does it for his own or for both of them; they don’t plan on asking).

Casino cups and Lil Lucifer au headcanons: Angst edition >:)

-When Lailah was captured by Lilith and forced to watch her cook infants, Lilith also forced her to eat part of the cooked bits.

-Also related, Lailah can’t be around the smell of cooked meat without getting violently ill from it.

-Cuphead still has nightmares about Mugman dying to one of the debtors and missing the parry to revive him.

-One time Devil was sleeping and ended up having a nightmare about Micheal, when King dice tried to wake him up Devil ended up clawing at his face leaving a big gash in it (Dice has forgiven him for it. Devil never will).

-Sometimes when Gabriel is alone, He swears he hear Lucifer voice trying to talk to him.

-Mr.Wheezy has shaky hands because he broke parts of the bones in fights as a kid.

-Both Zadikel and Raziel hate looking at themselves in a mirror, it reminds them of people that they want to forget.

-King dice still has the burn marks on his arms from his mothers cigarettes, their barely noticeable to most people but anytime his arms are visible he feels everyone staring at them.

-King dice thinks Minnie’s death was his fault.

-Gabriel was the one who found Chalices body when she had died.

-Haniel sometimes remembers herself screaming in pain, and she’s never remembered the reason why.
