I've been watching the original Josie & the Pussycats series by Hanna-Barbera and let me tell you, it's like a time capsule of 70s animation. I'm both befuddled and endeared by it

#josie and the pussycats #hanna barbera #like you've got a band but don't focus on the music #traveling around to world and beating a bunch of villains that are somewhere between Roger Moore Bond films to Batman 66 types #you have limited animation musical chase scenes and Casey Kasem #and a final season set in outer space!#and the whole thing only marginally resembles the original comics #it's like they took every animated property of the 1970s and threw it in the mix #but you can't even hate it #you can defend just about every part of it as being *product of it's time* or ironically hilarious #Like check it out if you can

Hi! For the "would our OC's get along" ask. I am curious about Celia and Casey/Kaycee, I think you know what's she's like. But just to cut it down a bit: She's kind, hard-working and can be stubborn to a fault when it comes to things she believe in. But she got a mischievous streak as well and can be quite competitive at times (ask Ian or Ethan, lol). She's always there for those she care about, but if someone break her trust, it's hard to get close to her again. She enjoys hanging out with friends, but also enjoys having some time on her own, reading, relaxing to some music or working out (be it on machines or boxing, as long as it's not a long jog 😂)

Hey there! Oh, this is so much fun!

OK, so as you know, Casey and Kaycee are similar but different. Casey is definitely more outgoing, exuberant, and (some would say) annoying lol. Kaycee is not a wallflower by any means, but she is more reserved and a little more serious. Casey ends up with Tobias, and those two worlds of crazy coming together are like BOOM! Whereas Kaycee is with Ethan, and she is more comfortable with a bit of a quieter existence. Again, she's not dull, she brings a lot of spark to his life, but I believe we are absolutely impacted by who we are with, and Kaycee is a little less out there than Casey.

I think both would bet along with Celia. They'd admire her intelligence, determination, and her spunk. I think both would become "work-friends" and out-of-work friends but to different degrees.

I think Celia would love hanging out with Casey - to a degree. Like they'd be at the holiday party together, and Celia would be laughing at all the hijinx. But in general, I think she'd become closer to Kaycee. Like her, Kaycee enjoys time with friends but also wants alone time too. I can see them taking in a yoga class together, having lunch, maybe a spa day, then happily heading home.
