Papa Gordo
Gordon: Hey, Charlie? Charlie: Yeah, dad? Gordon: He did it again, Casey! Charlie: Wait, did what? Casey, sighing deeply: He's been jumping up and down for two and a half hours because you called him dad. Gordon, tearing up: You don't get it, Casey!

If Gordon had married Casey, some of the guys would've called her "Mrs. Coach" since she wouldn't be a Conway anymore and "Mrs. Bombay" would be too weird

Casey: Did Gordon pick you up early from school today?
Charlie: No.
Bombay: See, case closed.
Charlie: We never went.
Casey: Case opened.
Charlie: We went shopping and bought matching hats!
Bombay: Go to your room.
Casey: You’re both going to your rooms.

In D2 we learn that Casey is married but Charlie doesnt like him, but in D3 it seems like she is not married anymore. I think he was a homophobe and she killed him and also he was named Scott. We don't like Scott. 0/10

Story idea
AU
Autistic!Charlie
Warnings: eh I guess period typical attitudes about autism
Summary:
Gordon never imagined himself falling in love
But he did with Casey Conway. It’s like a dream come true. That is, until he finds out she has a son
And not just that, but her kid has....problems
The most obvious choice seemed to be to just stop talking to her. That was what his friend has been advising. But Gordon doesn’t do that. He decided to give it a try
It wasn’t easy by any means. Gordon just doesn’t understand the kid at first but then the two begin to bond and he realizes how special Charlie truly is

This is basically just a follow up of this post, but I just think a little romcom where Casey and Gordon team up to get Charlie and Adam together while Charlie ropes Adam into helping him set Bombay up with his mom would be cute, okay-

That Pesky Gray hair
Casey x Gordon
////
Some people might find being watched while they sleep as romantic.
Those people never had the unfortunate experience of waking up and seeing the outline of a head amidst the darkness.
With his heart now rapidly beating and at least ten years off his lifespan, Gordon yanked the chain for the lamp adjacent to their bed. Casey was propped on her left elbow, cheek resting against the top of her hand, eyes locked in on  him  . Normally, he would be quite flattered but seeing as it was after midnight, he was anything  but .
“What’s the matter, Case?” He muttered tiredly.
She did not respond right away. In fact, she only merely sighed, looking terribly conflicted. He frowned, not understanding as nothing had been out of the ordinary prior to this. Although, now that he recalled it, she had been looking sullen in the time after dinner to them heading off to bed. He chalked it up to Charlie not making it over; he usually did on Friday nights but evidently there was far too much grading to be done from recent tests his students had taken the previous day which left him unable to break away for a few hours. However, this was different. He didn’t claim to fully understand women but knew enough to realize this couldn’t all be due to their son not showing up.
She sniffled, drawing his attention back onto her. “You’re going to laugh at me.”
Under different circumstances, he would have made a sarcastic response but that didn’t feel appropriate this time around. He leaned forward to tenderly kiss her forehead, keeping his forehead against hers. Her eyes stayed lower until he gently took her chin into his palm, lifting it upwards. “What’s the matter, sweetheart?” he said, using one of those pet names she adored and that he preferred to say in the sanctuary of privacy.
“I found a gray hair, Gordon,” she whispered miserably.
Whatever he’d been expecting, it wasn’t that. “What?”
“I found it after dinner,” she pulled away from him, covering her face as if to shield herself from the mortification. “I was fixing my hair and thought there was something in it but there  wasn’t  .  Gray ! Can you believe it? It’s already there. Who knows how long I have before-” She trailed off, not daring to speak those words should they have been some sort of spell to ignite the process further.
He sat up a bit, blowing out a puff of air. It wasn’t particularly.... surprising or at all astounding given that both of them were in their mid fifties. He supposed regardless of the facts, it was unwanted. She likely wouldn’t take kindly to him pointing such a thing out.  “Are you sure it was gray?” He said carefully as to not jolt her emotional state any more than it was.
“Take a look for yourself!” She pointed to a spot near her forehead that, for the life of him, he couldn’t see anything different.
“Casey,” Gordon fought to quell his chuckle, “there’s nothing there.”
“Yes, there most certainly is!” She huffed. “Face it, Gordon: I’ve gotten old.”
“If you are, then I am too. We’re the same age, remember?” He reminded her.
“That’s different,” She laid back down, arms folded across her chest, lips curled into a pout that came to look incredibly sexy. “Your hair is the same.”
And what was he supposed to do about  that ?
“I’m old,” she repeated, “pretty soon it’ll  all be gray!”
“Not for a few years,” he attempted to provide her comfort, but it fell flat.
“A  few !” She looked genuinely distraught at the idea. Gordon’s concern rose. It wasn’t like Casey to be overly focused on her appearance.
“Come here,” he drew her into his arms, where she pressed her face into the crook of his neck. He pressed a kiss to her head, inhaling the sweet scent of her shampoo that engulfed itself in her hair. With one arm solidly around her, he used his free one to thread his fingers through those beautiful curls. He pulled the blanket up around them to ensure they would have continuous warmth. “Tell me what’s really going on, Casey. Why does this bother you much?”
“I was looking at Charlie’s baby book the other day,” she said softly, “I saw a picture of me holding him in the hospital and realized how different I looked back than.”
That was an exaggeration. Barring a few facial wrinkles here and there--nothing of which he would mention to her--and an onset of constant dull body aches, Casey didn’t experience much change. And even if she had, even if she looked as awful as she believed she did, Gordon would still think of her as the most beautiful woman in the room. It didn’t matter that over twenty years had passed; she still made his breath hitch or a swarm of butterflies invade his stomach. And  every day , he was thankful for her and what they shared together--including Charlie.
“You’re still stunning,” he told her, putting a great amount of emphasis into those three words.
“I don’t  feel stunning,” she disagreed.
“Then let me make you," he murmured near her ear. She shivered when he trailed his fingertips up her spine.
“Gordon-”
“Shhh,” He moved her off him, hovering above her slightly, lips close to hers. “Let me do this for you.” He kissed along her neck, nuzzling. She giggled, the minimal patches of stubble on his face tickling her. “You’re as beautiful as the day we met. Don't you remember? It was when you-”
“Yelled at you for endangering the kids,” she finished. It was like a lifetime ago. They've made so many memories since than. They were  happy  ; their lives intertwining in such a way that had felt undeniably  right . They came together and gave the other what they’d been searching for all along. “I remember.”
“So do I,” he kept his voice deliberately low, “and I hardly see a difference from than and now.”
She rolled her eyes. Her eyes were staring up at the ceiling and she gave no more indication that she was enjoying herself. “You can admit it; there’s some things you’d wish were different about me. I won’t be angry. I’ve been thinking about it myself.”
“I don’t want you to change anything,” he told her earnestly.
She finally looked at him.
“Look, you know I’m crap with feelings but here’s the long and the short of it: you’re perfect, Casey. I don’t care if you have one gray hair or fifty. It doesn’t change anything.”
Her left hand was on the back of his neck, lightly massaging the skin. Gordon had to force himself not to get lost within the sensation. “What if I end up looking like some old hag?” She bit down on her lower lip.
“You’ll be  my old hag.”
Her jaw fell open. He dropped his head down, laughing into her collar bone. Casey pushed him off of her. “You’re  awful ! Just awful, Gordon.”
He spotted a smile on her lips, though. “I meant every word of it, Case,” he gently steered her head towards his direction.
“You promise?” She seemed embarrassed for even asking.
“Of course,” Gordon laced their fingers together.
“Even if someone younger finds you attractive?”
He raised his eyebrows. “Where is this leading to?”
“Millie likes you,” Casey told him, unmistakably displeased.
Prior to Charlie graduating high school, Casey had gotten a new job at an office. It paid more than the diner did; not to mention, she seemed to enjoy it more. Millie was one of her co-workers and quite younger than the majority of the other employees. Gordon never paid much attention to that during the couple times they’d interacted. He didn’t think Casey did either.
“Likes me?” He repeated and she nodded.  Oh . “Well-”
“And it got me thinking,” she continued, “you could easily go for someone like Millie instead of me.”
“You’re being ridiculous,” he scolded her.
“You’re not denying she’s attractive.”
Women , he sighed.
“She’s pretty,” he conceded, “but she’s not you.”
“You’re just saying that,” she said.
“No, I’m  telling you,” his hand was near the waistband of her shorts. “You, Mrs. Bombay, are stuck with me. You’re mine and there’s nothing anyone can do about it.”
“Even with gray hair?”
“ Especially with gray hair.”

Okay, but just imagine Casey Conway and Gordon Bombay playing matchmaker for Charlie and Adam-
Like, Charlie’s not-so-subtly Gay Panicking™️ and Casey’s over here being super mom, giving him suggestions on how to woo his favourite cake-eater. She’s also very supportive and excited when they hang out and definitely voices how pleased she is to Adam that they’ve found each other.
Meanwhile, Gordon’s that one teacher/coach that casually takes any opportunity to pair them together because he just knows these two are hopelessly into each other. The Ducks definitely complain about their best player and captain always being taken every practice.
Anyway, let Charlie and Adam be insufferable dorks and their parental figures impatiently waiting for them to get on with it. :)
