another weirdo cad ep98 moment again . the gals + fjord trying to discuss giving veth swimming lessons and fjord mentions tying her to the ship with rope to swim (veth yelled NO!) and cad wanders past and is like Do you guys want rope i have so much rope? and when they say no thanks he's like ok bye then i'm going to go back to playing with the ship's wheel :-]

thinking about just how likely it is that Batman was the only person Harley told about having suicidal thoughts whilst in Arkham in Detective Comics #831

and how he knew when she strapped that bomb to herself in Batman (2016) #100 that he had to go after her because she was going let herself die in an attempt to end Joker's rampage for good but that she refused to physically do it because he didn't want to her Kill him and he told her that so she's found a middle ground

"We don't need to end it this way. He needs to be locked back up."

that she'd rather die than keep living with his presence in the world haunting her, haunting Them.

That if he did choose Joker, she wasn't going to disarm the bomb herself.

"Honey. You're talking to the wrong girl if you think he's not dangerous locked up in Arkham. It's like I said. That's not good enough for me. Not anymore."

the way he yells for her as she leaves.

"You're only going to get to one of us in time, Bats. Who's it going to be?"

"Harley!"

the way the two men stare at each other in the way they have so many times before, in those moments when Joker stayed or prioritized their fight over her. the way he knew Joker loved the thrill of it all and thought it was funny, thought there was No way Batman would leave him and that this game had to end as according to the rules. And that Batman would do so, he would follow the rules and save him. The way he immediately assumed Batman would choose him, choose his life and choose to stay and disarm the bomb.

And how Batman didn't do that. How Batman walked away from him, leaving him to die or escape or whatever, because He was choosing Harley and her safety and prioritizing her life over him.

The way he stared him in the eyes before choosing the woman Joker had always left to die over him. The way that it was always Him, it was never a question if he would choose Batman over her, but when faced with that type of scenario, Joker is the one that gets left behind to die.

The way she literally woke up in the hospital instead of them having a scene just outside after he removed it. because she didn't intend to live in one of the two options. the way the bomb probably did go off to some capacity because you don't just end up in the hospital knocked out for a week.

Him saying that he's glad she's okay, after everything they've been through, this war and Everything else. and the way he didn't brush off her concern

"I'm glad you're okay."

"Are you?"

"I had to bury my father again today. I did it with my family."

“Why are there castle ruins throughout Ahtohallan?”

“Was there a 5th Spirit before?”

I’m glad they’re asking these questions because I have been wondering them for years.

It’s kinda ominous how everything is closed up before Elsa gets there. Like somebody didn’t want anyone to go further into Ahtohallen ever again. But then Elsa did and took apart the barricades.

My first theory is that there was a previous 5th spirit that thought freezing the river would stop it from drowning people, but then discovered that people could still die from diving too deep and then closed everything up. Maybe even lost somebody to Ahtohallan.

Second theory is maybe this previous 5th spirit never learned how to control their powers like Elsa did, and isolated themself in the glacier like Elsa thought she should with her ice palace.

And my third theory is that there is more to Ahtohallan that Elsa hasn’t found yet that needed to be kept secret.

I'm so down bad for Maddox and Ashlyn that my three favourite scenes are:

3. The Redlyn breakup - the chillest break up, Red supporting Ashlyn going after Maddox and the most insane storyline of Red realising he's bi because he kisses Seb

2. Just the entirety of Maddox during opening night - having an existential breakdown over your love life that you break the sound controls and then just give up on your stage manager duties and disappear (probably to help quinn)

1. The confession - a scene I want on repeat: the explanations of how afraid they are of how much they like the other then the "should we just stay friends?" Before having such a love induced make out their just completely ignore Carlos being there. (Also Maddison giving up and telling Maddox to stop coming back to her when she clearly likes Ashlyn... my baby just needed that push)

I love all my queer children but these two are the wlw so I love them just slightly more.

roy shoving jamie hard against a wall but cradling the back of his neck so his head doesn’t slam into the wall too hard. roy biting jamie’s lip then licking it soothingly afterwards. roy making jamie cry during sex then gently brushing the tears away with his thumbs. roy latching a collar around jamie’s throat too tight to restrict his breath then gently kissing the hollow of his throat. roy fisting jamie’s hair so hard that it makes jamie whine then telling him what a good boy he is to sooth the pain. roy telling jamie he’s an idiot then kissing his forehead.

"Greek" for Doctor Who!

The cool mountain air whipping her hair into her eyes, Rose squinted at the words carved into the walls of the Athenian treasury, and frowned.

“Doctor, it’s all Greek to me.”

“Nah, you’re just saying that because you’re not used to it yet—Delphic culture really is quite delightful, if a little pretentious—but maybe that’s just ancient Greeks for you—you know, this is also where they hold the Pythian Games, which is held in honor of Apollo supposedly killing the great beast Python—‘great’ is a little much, I think, it really wasn’t much bigger than a German Shepherd—“

“—no, Doctor—“ Rose grabbed his chin and turned his face towards the inscription “—it’s all Greek.”

The Doctor stared for a moment uncomprehendingly at the unfamiliar letters on the wall, then his eyes went wide with realization, and he yelped, “The TARDIS!” and sprinted back down the path.

It so interesting to me that Ed processes (or rather, doesn’t) killing his dad by replacing the event with a bit of sea monster based fiction and then Izzy does the exact same thing for his leg…it’s a less flashy story, shark not kraken but still. is this a skill one of them taught the other or is it just one of the ways they’re similar?
