I got. Tired about halfway through, and I was working with p much just a paring knife and a spoon, so i just kinda gave up when i got to the lower half. Next year i want some actual carving tools to use.

This year's pumpkin is for The Edge of Sleep that releases on ✨OCTOBER 18TH!✨! 🎃 Remember, the plan is to get it to at least #10 on whatever streaming platform it releases on to "open doors" for Mark and his movie Iron Lung. Easy peasy lemon squeezy! 😏

thinking about a pumpkin carving night hosted at the harrington house with snacks and music and movies and laughter and love.

one with pumpkin seeds in the oven and hot apple cider in mugs shaped like ghosts.

one with a contest for “scariest pumpkin” and a level of competitiveness rivaling only eddie’s most extreme campaigns.

one where eddie spends hours carving a biblically accurate freddy kreuger, burns and hat included; only to lose to steve, who picked up a permanent marker and wrote “will’s old haircut” on his pumpkin and made everyone laugh so hard they called it a sweep.

one where eddie got so angry he had to go for a walk around the neighborhood before he came back to watch the movie everyone voted on watching at the end of the night.

it was nightmare on elm street.

With their long bodies, stubby legs, and more or less vestigial wings, Pumpkin Drakes are here to claim people's jack o' lanterns as their own!

Domestication and breeding has led to wonderful and curious-looking morphs in this species which are not observed in their wild counterparts. The candycorn morph is a fairly new colouration, but has proven to be extremely popular amongst younger magic users.

Pumpkin Drakes are a rambunctious species. Even in places where there are an abundance of pumpkins, they can often be seen in scuffles with others of their kind for what they consider to be the best pumpkin to nest in for the next few days. Pet Pumpkin Drakes can be housed in pumpkin-shaped receptacles, but it is recommended to give them access to a real pumpkin at least once a month.

When a pumpkin has been obtained, these small dragons will proceed to hollow it out, eating the flesh and seeds in the process (they are omnivores). With jack o' lanterns, the work of emptying out the pumpkin has already been done for them, so it's no wonder more and more wild Pumpkin Drakes have been seen in neighbourhoods during the Halloween season!

Wild Pumpkin Drakes are rarely phased by interaction (when treated with respect), so be sure to be on the look out for one (or more) on your porch, or wherever you have jack o' lanterns! 🎃🐉
