How do you think Storm and Wolverine met in the Evolution-Verse?

From what info we got Ororo actually helped Xavier power up the device that allowed them to find Logan.

I can actually see her trying to nurse his wounds despite knowing he can heal after awhile of them knowing each other!

I'm currently revising a story about this actually... but I can write a bit of it here to...

Here's a part:

Ororo and the Professor were in Cerebro trying to find any trace of Logan, he’d been using his powers on and off and he moved incredibly fast for Cerebra to keep track of him, he seemed to be heading somewhere, then somewhere else, then somewhere else… They’d been in Cerebro for over an hour trying to pin point him, but so far, they couldn’t see him staying anywhere long enough to go get him and take him somewhere safe. She kept hoping that he’d show up on the screen a moment later and remain there for at least five minutes so they could pinpoint his location and possibly where he was headed.

It had almost been an hour and a half, last place he was using his ability he was near Michigan but being that he was constantly moving they couldn’t get on the jet and go to him just in case he was already gone from there, or maybe so they wouldn’t spook him and make him hightail it out of there. The Professor had told Ororo that he would do anything in his power to help this man and he meant it. Finally, the Professor came up with a conclusion.

“Ororo, prep the X Jet.”

At his words she jumped to action knowing they needed to get to him when they could.

“Are you coming?” She asked after setting all systems to go on the aircraft.

“No, I’m going to stay here, I will send you messages about his whereabouts, so you can find him.” She agreed then disappeared into the jet, a few seconds later she took off.

VIRGINIA:

He’d been running for hours, not sure why, not sure where, all he knew was he had to get far away from something. What it was he didn’t know, why? He didn’t know that either. He just knew he couldn’t stay there anymore. Heck, he didn’t even know where there was. He cut through the forests and brush, running into a few wolves here and there, a bear once, then finally something different. Civilization, he didn’t know why, but he’d avoided civilization like the plague for the past two days. It wasn’t the same tonight. The sky was black, and he’d had a couple run-ins with something that made all the hair on his body stand straight up. He decided to risk it with the people. He was still on alert though, always on alert. He dashed toward the town. It was about a few thousand feet away.

“Ororo, he’s in Virginia.” She listened to his mental message, she reached there quickly, then looked for a place to set the plane down. She found a clearing near a forest and landed it, then got back on her intercom.

“I’m here Professor.”

“Alright, he seems to be heading Northeast.”

“Copy.” She said back and rushed to where he’d directed her. Getting to the town she ran through, listening and feeling for him. Ororo and Logan had always had a very special connection, they could always sense if the other was alright or not, and sometimes where they were. She manipulated the wind a bit, so the Professor could see where she was opposed to him.

“Ororo!” He said loudly, she recognized this turning around, shock set in as she saw him. He was about 40 feet from her, but he looked different. He looked fiercer and more intimidating than she’d seen him before. Logan looked at her strangely.

“Logan.” She said approaching him, he gave her a confused look.

“H-how do you know my name?” He asked, stepping back. She stopped in her tracks, what was going on… he was acting strange before, but not like this. “Who are you?” She gaped in shock. What did he mean. Suddenly, the worst possibility crossed her mind…

“What did they do… to you?” She said unknowingly, stepping forward, he growled quietly, warning her to stay where she was.

“I am not going to hurt you.” He still looked confused like he felt out of place, he then turned and bolted in the other direction, her attention jerked, he’d disappeared behind the corner of a building, she flew up with the wind over the buildings looking for him, a few people walked down below, Ororo searched the area from the air when finally, she saw him running through a part of the town. She rushed toward him, meeting him at the pass as he came out of the alley.

“Wait!” She yelled above him, he looked shocked at her flying over him, she didn’t know exactly what to tell him to make him come back with her to the institute.

“Rawrg.” She heard from below, looking down she saw he’d cut a light pole, and it was falling right for her, she shied away seeing it approach her, then sent forth a burst of wind forcing it back.

“Stop! I mean you no harm!” She yelled, the pole hit the ground behind him. He stood there awestruck at her actions. She landed in front of him.

“I can help you!” She said hoping to convince him to trust her, he looked at her strangely.

“Help me?” He asked, disbelief obvious in his voice.

“That’s a pretty tall order, lady, aside from waking up in a snowbank a few days ago I don’t even know who I am.” She chose her next words carefully.

Meanwhile the Professor reached out with his mind to try and get to the man. His mind, it was jumbled in a strange way, and his memory seemed to be very short ranged, he projected himself into his mind.

“She’s telling the truth Logan.” He told him mentally.

“WHAT THE?! Who… What… are you?... And how do you know my name?” He asked aloud suddenly almost scared, an image of the Professor came into mental view, and Logan observed him carefully.

"Don’t be alarmed, I’m a telepath and I’m projecting an astral image of me into your mind so that you can see me. If you come with us, I can help you understand what’s happening to you. I can help you explore your unique gifts, and even fit in with society.” Logan considered the offer, then looked to Ororo in front of him, still unsure.

‘Well, can’t hurt to try.’ He said to himself, he straightened up, sheathed his claws, and started walking. They journeyed side by side back to the jet. Neither of them spoke to each other on their walk. She kept watching him as they went back.

‘Aside from waking up in a snow bank a few days ago, I don’t even know who I am.’ The words he’d said rolled around in her mind, she tried not to show how torn she felt at his statement. They got to the jet they got ready for the flight back, he set down in the back while she prepped the jet to take off, getting into the cockpit she couldn’t help letting a couple tears fall from her eyes.

'What have they done to you James…’ She thought, wanting to believe that this was all a nightmare, and she would soon wake up next to him and they’d have a wonderful day as they always did, but she knew this was horribly real. Gathering herself, she put her emotions under the band that they always had to be in order, so she would not have a storm on her hands that could determine the fate of many had it got out of hand too much. They flew back to the institute.

I know this needs editing, and I'll be dedicating some of my time to it as I can
