It's been about 9 and a half months since I had Let's Get Back! put out a new compilation cover album, so for their grand return, they present Class of the 2000s! A love letter to some of my favorite cartoon theme songs from the past decade or so!

For anyone who doesn't know, cartoons and animation is one of my special interests, and I have a playlist that's just some of my all time favorite cartoon theme songs, and this is a selection of a few of those! Also, I think I've mentioned this here before, but Let's Get Back! is my OC cover band! You can read more about them here if you'd like, but in short, they just play covers of whichever songs I want them to lol. It's all just in spirit tho, I can't actually play music to save my life lmao.

In this, Shep, PB, Rye and Pumpernickel (Let's Get Back!'s four main members) are joined by Starburst for the vocals on tracks 1, 8 and 10! I wanted to include Starburst because she's basically made for something like this. She's basically a kinsona of Jenny from Wayside hehe. For this, I also gave each of my characters outfits to match some of the characters from the shows showcased!

From left to right they're: Pumpernickel as Jimmy from Jimmy Two-Shoes PBnJ as Tamama from Sgt. Frog Starburst as Jenny from Wayside [which is just her default design lol] Shep as Abe from Clone High Rye as Jimmy from Jimmy Neutron

But this, like I said, is a showcase of some of my all time favorite theme songs! Two of them in fact (Master and Hey 2 Look 2), introduced me to what would become two of my all time favorite bands in Abandoned Pools and Beat Crusaders respectively hehe. I watched a wee kids' cartoon called Vegesaurs which is about... dinosaur/vegetable (and fruit) hybrids, and I made up my own species called a Berryopteryx! A blueberry/archaeopteryx.

Then I made a tiny little plushie of it. I only had scraps of blue left so I just made it super tiny.

He is someone who is reserved when he is not with Felix, there is something about their connection that only causes problems, he loves to talk about new movies or comics that he has discovered, he usually likes to tell Oswald about them.Ah Felix, no because they usually argue over which movie is better.

He changes completely when he looks at a girl around him, but none of them pay attention to him because they constantly mistake him for a little boy, which bothers him a lot.

Oswald Possibly the most “Normal of the three” and not to say his stupidities out loud, it makes him seem somewhat mysterious to the girls, in addition to his attractive physique and his last name, but when no one looks at him he is different and stops being Disney .

Sometimes they tend to get so immersed in their thoughts and internal crises that it drives Felix crazy. Oswald is in charge of writing the lyrics of the songs and with the help of his friend Ortencia they usually look for places to play their music.

He's too much of a perfectionist, which is a problem when your party consists of Felix and Bendy.

He usually works part-time in a mechanic's shop unlike his brothers. (HAHAHAHAH)

He usually appears on his father's program but only from time to time since he is often kicked out of the studio, since he tends to be somewhat rebellious with the authorities.(bro give me fanny's number)

I want to make a webcomic!

Now, I have the story, the characters and the ideas, but not the artistic capacity. I'm also still young enough that I want to continue developing this idea before I go anywhere with it.

So for now, until I'm ready to make it and have a team of artists to actually make it reality, I'm going to have this Tumblr profile so that I can talk about my ideas and share this concept with the world!

Concept:

In this world, Witches are relatively common-place, being around 1 in 1000 people. Witches have no defining traits other than pointy ears at first, but each witch has a food that is baked into their very soul, and when they eat that food for the first time, they unlock their latent magical abilities as their soul manifests as a staff that they can use for magic.

All the magic is food themed, and based around the individual witch's designated food (For instance, a spicy pepper witch could use pyrokinesis, while an ice cream witch has cryokinesis).

The webcomic would follow an Egg witch as he attends The School of Culinary and Mystic Arts (SCMA for short) and joins a small coven, learning magic, friendship, and a lot of trauma. I mean a LOT.

The comic would be heavily inspired by cartoons like The Owl House, Gravity Falls and Amphibia, as well as Anime such as BNA and Little Witch Academia. Though it would be more mature, with violence, death, and serious tones (Hence why I'm not aiming for being a cartoon!)
