Its an illness that when we get it, not everyone will survive. Do your part. Wear masks in public. Wash your hands. Don't go to parties. Be a good human being who cares for and has empathy for others.

im sure my followers know that my family is full of republicans (i know, eww), while im the odd one out being a leftist. because of this, i have some inside info about why the republicans are not treating this pandemic with any tact.

they think it’s only killed 9,000 americans

let me repeat

republicans think covid-19 has only killed 9,000 americans

they told me that this has to be true because those other 100,000+ people had other conditions that made them die, including those who are overweight (my father is obese), diabetics (my sister has type-1 diabetes), the elderly, and those with other underlying diseases.

now, why a person could have been more vulnerable to the virus because of these factors, if someone dies from a disease, THEY DIE FROM A DISEASE!!!

if a person were to die from pneumonia, but they were old-ish (lets say 50-60), you wouldn’t say they died of old age, you would say they dies from pneumonia, right? so why is it different for covid deaths???

Like I cant see my friends, cant be less than 6 feet away from anyone outside the house, and my dad isnt allowed in the main area of the house because he works and buys the groceries
