Parker Calibur

Carol had woken up in the middle of the night for no real reason she could think of.. noticing the bed beside her was empty. A frown. Had Parker left early without telling her..? What an awful habit of his. Before she could stew further on the idea she picked up on a shadow. Following the trail of it to see Parker standing on the balcony of his room, leaning over the railing absent-mindedly.

The tutor sat up , placing her glasses on to step onto the balcony behind her partner. Who barely even responded, only turning his head slightly to glance at her. His eyes piercing her soul and getting her to flush ever so slightly.

"Parker," She began, voice soft. Getting a sigh out of him. "What're you doing? It's late.."

A shrug in response. "Watching the dogs. They're playing." He gestured off the balcony with a hum, Carol looking over the railing to see two massive beasts rolling in the front of the manor. Brows knitting together.

"Love-" Carol sighed. "Come back to bed at the very least..? It's too cold without you." She reasoned, knowing she would get nowhere with Parker and his trademark nonchalance. A small sigh of relief when he stood straight, stretching for a moment.

"Fine, fine.... you're lucky I love you." A lighthearted remark, allowing Carol to drag him back into his room by the wrist.

For one she was relieved but also she was very nervous as DAC announced the placements on who will share a room with who cause.... at least she didn’t got with Yasuno which would have been the worst scenario but then... of course it had to be Parker who she was crushing on at that point... in the beginning she thought... it will be fine... we have seperate beds and can chat a little... but as she got in... her face went blank... noticing only one double bed was placed.

Meanwhile Parker sighed...

“I can sleep on the couch if that is better for you?”

“No I want you to be rested too... the couch is no good... lets just try it... what do we have to lose.”

She tried seem calm but she was not... after all being in a room with someone she admired from a far is a bit much... she tried to calm her heart and fall asleep as he called out to her.

“Carol.. you need some rest too, don’t think too much about things, okay.”

Its as if he was noticing her worries....

“Its just unusual for me... you know... But I am glad at least that you are with me... “ She was honest about it but a bit too honest as she looked at him and quickly hid her face again...

Still this little talk managed her to calm down for the rest of the night...

In the morning she did manage to make a small breakfast as thank you for him... and although as usual it didn’t look good it was made with love.

Suddenly she ended up sharing a room with Christo that field trip but only one bed in the room made things a bit more tense for her... even worse that he was not only calm but just taking his shirt off like it was nothing... causing her to stare up from her detective notebook. He looked back at her noticing how she tried to hide her face.

“You shouldn’t stay up too much.”

“I am fine just writing down some notes...”

“Listen you will need sleep too and the chair is not comfortable... you have to accept the fact that we only have one place here.”

“F-fine...”

It still didn’t help, she sat down next to him but hid her face in her cushion trying not to glance at Christo the whole time even though to her he was just too pretty to look at...and so she was constantly stuck in a mix of emberassment and temptation... at least untill her eyelids fell down and she feel asleep... accidentally on his arm but at least she was sleeping.

GoPro shot of the "Țepes" castle in Carol Park 😊 - built in 1906 to initially serve as a water tower, it was then made to look like a scaled down version of The Poenari Castle in Argeș County (actually used by the famous Vlad III the Impaler also known as Vlad Țepeș, the inspiration for Bram Stoker's Dracula). The reason was so that it would look interesting for the 40 years jubilee of Carol the I's reign. Now it houses the National Office for the Cult of Heroes and can sadly rarely be visited.
