Hey! I love your collection of snippets and I have one that I think could be fun! It's been a few centuries and Klaroline come knocking on some vampire's door for info, and he's absolutely scared shitless because of the horror stories he's heard...of Caroline. He has no idea who Klaus is. (Klaus is delighted by wifey getting the props she deserves)

“Just let me handle this.”

“You handled last week’s negotiation, let me have some fun with this one.”

“Negotiation,” Caroline snorts. “You call plotting to hang a vampire from the ceiling by their intestines while you remove their fingernails negotiation? That’s cute.”

Klaus sends a glare her way. “He spoke out of turn.”

“He didn’t get a turn to speak at all, what with you compelling him to eat his own tongue. Just let me handle this, would y—”

The door swings open, and she and Klaus turn towards their newest victim. “David Lennon, I presume,” Klaus says darkly, and Caroline throws him a filthy look at stealing her thunder, and Klaus, the absolute ass, looks completely shameless.

“Uh, yeah,” David says, looking at Klaus quizzically, not noticing Caroline at all. Ugh. “Who’re you?”

Klaus cocks his head to the side, a smile curling his lips. “Your newest nightmare. Now, mate, care to explain that pesky disappearance of my hybrid pack in Connecticut? My witch tells me you were quite conspicuous, really, if you're going to murder for fun, at least do it well.”

David scoffs. “Look, man—”

Klaus looks ready to kill at the name he’s been called. “I suggest you choose your next words carefully, unless you—”

“Oh, shut up,” Caroline says irritably, pushing Klaus aside. “How are you dramatic about murder?” She grabs David by the collar of his shirt, slamming him against the wall. “Make this q—”

But David’s face goes slack, his eyes bulging out of his head. “C—Caroline Forbes?” he stammers, his face white.

Caroline frowns, pushing him harder against the wall, digging her fingers into his skin, making him whimper. “Yeah. He asked you a question. Why did you kill—”

“I'm sorry, I'm sorry!” David babbles out, his hands raised in defence. “Really, I didn’t know it was your pack, Miss Forbes—”

Miss Forbes? What the fuck?

“—if I had known, I never would’ve killed them, I'm so sorry, please don’t kill me—”

Caroline growls. “I don’t want excuses, I want to know why you killed our allies. Talk.”

“A witch blackmailed me to, told me she’d desiccate me if I didn’t. She had some bad blood with the alpha, I think, something about him triggering his curse by killing her brother. I didn’t want to do it, Miss Forbes, I'm sorry, please forgive me—”

Caroline lets go with a disgusted noise, dropping him to the floor, where he falls to his feet, looking at her with terror. “If there’s anything I can do—”

“Who’s the witch?” Klaus breaks in. “Is she part of a coven?”

“Some weird ass chick called Jane-Anne Devereaux. I don’t know, she could’ve been lying—” David breaks off, staring at Klaus suspiciously. “Who’re you?”

The look on Klaus’s face is comical. “Who am I?” he growls. “How bloody stupid are you?”

David sneers at him. “How stupid are you, to think people know your name—”

Klaus lunges for him, only to be blocked by Caroline’s hand. “Wait,” she tells him, glancing at the vampire. “I still have to talk to him.”

“Is he your friend, Miss Forbes, I'm sorry, I didn’t know—”

“Stop,” Caroline grits out, “apologizing. Your snivelling is giving me a headache." Next to her, Klaus looks impressed.

“Yes, Miss Forbes, anything, please don’t kill me—”

“Shut up. Is Jane-Anne Devereaux part of a coven?”

“Yeah, it’s their family coven, an old one.” David looks up at her pleadingly. “That’s all I know, Miss Forbes, I swear, and if I'd known that was your pack—”

“My pack,” Klaus growls.

“I never would’ve done it. I'll do anything you want, Miss Forbes, please don’t kill me.”

“What the bloody hell is going on?” Klaus grinds out.

David looks at Klaus like he’s an idiot. “Are you nuts, man? Don’t talk like that in front of her, she’ll kill you.”

“Wh—”

“Don’t you know anything about how Caroline Forbes murdered those vampires in Georgia after they spoke out of turn?” David shudders. “Like, don’t even ask.”

Caroline wants to laugh. So. Hard.

David turns to her frantically. “Mad respect and all to you, Miss Forbes. My friend told me how you tortured those witches who went after your friend, and, honestly, it was kind of inspiring for all of us—hey, I don’t suppose you’ve ever given thought to having a proteg—”

“Mate, I'm begging you to quit while you're ahead,” Klaus says, and Caroline wants to snort at the look of mirth on his face. “We wouldn't want—”

“Of course, anything, Miss Forbes,” says David, giving her a look of reverence one would give to the Pope. “My sincerest apologies.”

Caroline chokes out a sure, then grabs Klaus’s hand and drags him away. Once they’re both out of earshot, they both start howling so hard one of Klaus’s hybrids pokes his head out of the SUV to ask them if they were alright.

“He hadn’t even heard of you!” Caroline wheezes. “Hadn’t heard of Klaus Mikaelson, the Original Hybrid! And he's scared of me! Oh, this is hilarious. A thousand plus years of maiming and torture and murder for you, Klaus, and this kid’s terrified of me. I haven’t even done anything compared to you.”

“Well, kudos to you, then, love,” Klaus smirks. “You're finally starting to catch up. I'm so proud.”

Caroline snorts. “I'm on my way to becoming the next Klaus Mikaelson. Lucky me.”

“No, no, love, weren't you listening? You're Caroline Forbes.” She lets out a cackle at the words, never have imagined her name to be spoken of in the same depth of fear Klaus’s is. “He looked ready to build an altar in your honour.”

“He might’ve even called me the queen.”

Klaus smirks, and she knows what he’s going to say even before he says it. “Well, you are—”

“I totally gave you that one,” Caroline accuses.

“It was too good of an opportunity to miss.” Klaus shrugs. His gaze suddenly turns calculating, and he looks at her mischievously.

“Oh no. What?”

“Well, seeing as you're on your way to becoming the next scourge of the supernatural underworld—” He ignores her derisive snort— “You'll need a moniker.”

“What the hell is that?” she asks, grabbing his arm and slinging it around her shoulders as they walk back to the car.

“An infamous nickname, of course. You’ve heard mine—Klaus le Fou, Klaus le Dement, Niklaus der Mordor—and those are just the few in French, the last one’s from Germany, when I murdered those few witches, that was particularly gory—”

“I actually want to cry at how bad those all are.”

“Well, there’s the one in English, Klaus the Mad—”

“Ugh,” she groans. “They're all so unoriginal. If I'm going to have one, can't it be interesting?”

“Well, we have a variety of choices, in a variety of languages, and I did always think one in French would suit you well…”

Just completed reading Chapter 1 of TW4. Oh God the writer you🫠. You are a BLESSING to Klaroline FD Honey 🤌.

I felt a whole lot of emotions flowing through me while reading this chapter ❤️‍🩹

Firstly, Caroline Forbes is born to be a badass Queen 👑 and You my friend made sure we see this queens actions and determination to get back her family and her King through your excellent writing.

I really loved the interaction between the amazing mom-daughter duo 🥺 Eve my love is such a mixture of her Father and Mother. (Will she also have traits of her uncle and aunt 🤔)

Secondly, The way you write Klaus. Yeah he is such an arrogant ass even being a prisoner. But I love that idiot for these qualities 🫠 ( Stupid me🤧)

I was tearing up when he asked Vincent about his Caroline 😭 ( My babies are missing each other so bad❤️‍🩹😭)

Finally, my guilty pleasure, Caroline and Elijah reunion🤧🥹. Oh how much I missed them both.

I have to give it to you, I don't know why but after Klaroline I crave for Care- Elijah scenes ( You made me become so addictive to their dynamic by your perfect writing 😅🥺)

Now I am really waiting for the reunion of My babies 🤧 They have been away from each other for far too long (which they don't deserve). And also for Klaus to meet his Little wolf after 5 long years (Oh the Dad-Daughter Reunion 🤧😭).

Omg, this is so nice! 🥹 I wasn't ready to find this in my inbox. 😭

Chapters where I objctively don't have Klaus and Caroline interacting always make me double nervous. I'm a naturally anxious, obsessive person, but this really gets to me. It doesn't happen very often, but there were a couple throughout the story and this is another one. Even when they're together in a scene, I still try to make a point of making the whole thing always about them somehow (because who are we kidding, this is the sole reason I'm writing this), but I never know how successful it will turn out until I post it. I used to have a test audience, but I don't anymore so it's always a surprise. 😂 So reactions like this really make my day and help make me more confident going forward. 🥹

And thank you for bringing up Klaus actually. 😂 I had a lot more fun writing him being a level A little shit while imprisoned than I should. I especially made that whole scene with Alistair a lot more dramatic than it was. Klaus didn't kill half the people or said half the things he did there on the show. lol He went in a completely primal derangement state there and I really liked writing that part. So I'm especially glad that you enjoyed it!

And then of course we went from that to him asking Vincent about Caroline, so. 🥲 From 100 to 0 in a second. 👌

Did they survive the Legacies series finale? If so, what have they been up to in the past decade?

Yes! I know, honestly my favorite character to make it to the end because no one thought she would. What was she doing post legacies, was coming back to run the Salvatore School when Alaric retired and also most important when Lizzie turned, as it meant she could stop her search for a way to stop the merge. Which she had been doing for years. Which I think plays into her secret a little, given she wasn't around for her family as much as she wanted to me.

Can you explain their secret more in-depth?

This is more of a humanity filled secret for Caroline but i think as the years go on. First loosing Klaus and then Damon and Elena, Caroline would be considered all the stuff she didn't do because she thought it would 'safer' or 'for the best' or was not the 'right' thing to do. e.g. she stayed away from Klaus because it wasn't 'right.' She didn't keep in contact with her step siblings because it wasn't 'safe' and just general denied herself some things which she wonders if it would have changed her life for the better. And facing immortality and the death of her friends (Delena) and Alaric's old age, she is seeing the very long long future she is going to have without them them all.

Anything we need to know about them?

Caroline will have her humanity off in the past, and I think for a while will be playing the part of young-Caroline but with a relaxed more badass nature to her choices.

Any headcanons about their past or present? Or even their future, if they’re from 2010.

We know canon wise that most tvd, Caroline called herself Caroline Forbes-Salvatore when she was working at the school. However I think after almost 2 decades without Stefan, she is finally letting that part of her life go. Returning to Forbes and also starting to date again. Also just going to headcanon that Caroline is bisexual but this is something she really only started to explore in her adulthood.

Any plots or connections you’d like them to have?

I would love Caroline's step sister/siblings, which we know are the kids of Bill (Caroline's father's) partner, Steven with his ex-wife. I would love a secret girlfriend/fling Caroline had from her high school life that maybe she met when she was visiting her dad for the holidays before she learnt about the supernatural.

Any ships you prefer for them?

Ah, everyone. Caroline is very shipable. Like I even love the idea of Caroline/Katherine. But I do have a special place in my heart for Klaroline. Would love to explore that, but yes, open to all ships. And no-humanity Caroline is open to making some poor choices.

What’s your least favorite canon plotline for them? 

honestly any storyline where someone treats her second place, happened all the time and I hate it for her. She is a goddess. Also I think the fact she was gone from legacies, which I understand was needed for the plot was very un-Caroline of her. Given she knew the pain of a parent being MIA but I also get that as a character Caroline needed to be looking over the world for a cure to the merge and that given the mental state of her girls, she would have wanted them to be in the stable location of the school. So really I just wish that was explored more.

When @klarolinepositivity week was announced, I had plans. To which I changed and scrapped last minute because it didn't feel good enough. So, I intended to bomb as many people as possible with love. However, this week hit and it was a less than stellar one. I didn't have much time to reblog as many people as I wanted for the first two days and had intended to make more graphics to highlight fan fiction writers that I love and adore.

I had picked out several fics/authors to highlight but I only managed to make three. So below is a fic rec list for the other authors I picked and hopefully if I am feeling up to it, I can work on those graphics.

He sighed, he hadn’t felt this relaxed ever, and it was a delightful feeling. In his relaxation, his mind is drifting when he sees a woman.

I wavered between this fic and Forbidden because I love myself some Viking Klaus but I landed on this one because of you wrote Caroline. She is the perfect mafia Caroline that I want to see in my fics- ruthless. I'm completely honest when I say that I cannot wait to see what else you have in store for us.

It has been WEEKS since I've read this fic and it STILL has me chuckling. Like SERIOUSLY. Klaus getting that call about his wife being kidnapped and he is like "good luck with that" and hangs up is just hilarious.

I love a self-sufficient Caroline.

This fic has made me deep dive and binge a few of your Klaroline fics (also, scrolling past all the Torchwood has me curious) and while I LOVE them all, this one will always be my favorite. Please, keep writing for us.

Her mother never really had to spell it out to her, give it a name. Okay, so I wasn't sure if I wanted to highlight this or The Sound of Settling because I love them both (top two fav fics you've written) but chose this because I think more people need to know about it. You are a fantastic writer and such a sweet person. Sigh, so originally I was going to highlight the fic you wrote me (which I absolutely adore and have read more times than I should admit) but I came back to this one. This is a comfort fic of mine. It is one that I come to when I need something familiar and happy to come home to and the idea of serial killer Caroline is just up my alley.

While I suck at leaving my comments (I NEED to be better) I have to admit that you are honestly a fantastic writer and I have read almost all of your fics, and have loved everyone of them.

This is a historical Regency human AU. It’s the day after Klaus and Caroline’s arranged marriage — and it’s just as uncomfortable as it is unconsummated. Or, how 2 stubborn people + misunderstandings = sexytimes.

Almost like everyone on this list, I pondered what fic I wanted to highlight. In the end, I went to my love of historical fics and chose the one you wrote for me. This is just beautiful with the PINING and miscommunication between Klaus and Caroline. You're writing has a light and humorous feel that brings me happiness to come back to when I need a pick-me-up.

Maddie, I do not know what is better, the sex or the lead up to the sex. Because HOLY SHIT this fic is hot. I did almost pick Could I Choose You but changed my mind and went with the first fic of course I've ever read. Honestly, you might be the best smut writer in the fandom and I love you for it. I still can't get over that you run Klarolinelookalikes.

Okay- so thats the end of my fic rec. I could have went on and on and on and on because there are so many people in this fandom that are beautiful and wonderful but I had to stop somewhere. When making this list, I had intended to grace all of you with beautiful graphics for your fics- but as you can see, that was ambitious and time was not on my side. Just know that I love all these fics and writers whole heartedly and I thank you ALL for being in this fandom.

9. What’s your favorite line(s) or scene(s) that you have written?

Okay, I do have a few. Let's see. Spoilers for the contents of my fics I guess (no one cares, but I thought I should mention it).

From She's Come Undone and Set Free:

I really loved writing Elena's rage and thirst to make Damon pay for hurting Caroline okay?

“No,” Elena said, voice sharp as the daggers she had driven through the chests of more than one Mikaelson, sharp enough it would cut the eldest Salvatore in half. “I’m not letting him get away with it that easy, he’s going to live, because I’m going to make him regret the day he decided to touch either one of us.”

She turned around and locked eyes with Rebekah to make one final point, “So we will go to New Orleans, I will break my sire bond to Damon, but you will tell Elijah nothing about this, you will tell Klaus nothing about this. He’s ours.”

Another scene I really liked was Caroline grappling with the trauma that has been pushed to the surface because someone else knows now.

She tried to anchor herself to the present. Damon would never touch her again, she wasn’t the weak little Caroline who fell for the first set of pretty eyes that showed interest. The human girl, who didn’t know anything about anything and couldn’t protect herself.

She was badass vampire Caroline Forbes and none of this could ever break her.

Most days she believed it, today it took all of her strength not to shrivel into that powerless girl she'd once been not that long ago at all.

And Caroline getting to actually finally truly make Damon pay for what he'd done to her.

So she grabbed blindly for something, anything that would make him pay for all the things he’d stolen from her, all the things she’d had to fight tooth and nail to get back. Like her ability to trust. Like not flinching when she kissed Matt, and then Tyler, and then- well, whoever it was she decided she wanted to kiss. Like smiling and meaning it. Her hand found something sharp and pointy and feeling a sickly sort of exhilaration she stabbed it into his lower abdomen.

A long-carried impulse she didn't have to suppress anymore.

It didn’t make her feel better to hear his half-smothered scream, not really, nothing could ever make it better. But it did give her a moment of something like calm.

It was good enough.

And then there's me just being a shallow romantic but I really enjoyed writing the Elejah tension here. I think I did good 😏

She raised her head to look Elijah in the eye and couldn't help taking note of the familiarity of the angle of her raised chin. His eyes darkened before he flicked them away in something like self-preservation.

Letting Thirteen drop her always cheerful and hopeful mask because Graham's question stings? I'm proud of the little moment.

“Did you ever try to-”

“What? Change it? Save her? Go back and make sure she never died there? Take her place?” She glares at him and for a fraction of a moment she looks her age, millennia old and furious and terrifying beyond reason, and for that one moment Graham is almost scared of her. And then she blinks, her gaze losing it’s terrible intensity, and he’s not even sure that he didn’t imagine it. “She would never have forgiven me. And- and her timeline is complicated, even if I tried to- there’s a very good chance if I did it that I’d be erasing her from the universe entirely.”

From 5 Times Monica and Her Mom Have Difficult Conversations About Auntie Carol (+1 Time She Plans A Parent Trap With Her Skrull Friend)

Another case of the romantic in me making me love a scene I've written. Plus I love the wisdom of kids, where they make complicated things simple.

“You’re supposed to say it back.” Monica says, losing her patience. It’s been happening for months now, this weird thing where they almost say something and then never actually do.

“We’ve talked about this, Monica.” Mom says, placing her stack of dishes in the sink and then taking the ones from Monica.

“No. you said that Auntie Carol had to figure it out on her own. I think she’s figured it out.” Monica says back and then, perhaps rather unwisely, actually says the thing that’s been hiding in her mind for a while now. “I think you’re just scared.”

From One Ring to Ruin It All (Not On Henry's Watch)

If I got a nickel for every time I wrote a fic about a precocious kid trying to make their moms stop being stupid and admit that they love each other already I'd have two nickels but it's weird that I did it twice.

Anyway, I loved writing this moment for Henry.

 “I know you love her, Mom. Really love her. And you need to tell her because- because you don’t have time to wait anymore.”

And then he pushed his hand into his pocket and pulled out the little silver ring with a diamond centerpiece. It would actually be kind of pretty if its sight didn’t pull his insides into a knot.

“What-”

“I found it in Hook’s coat,”

Bonkai would have had the potential to be healthier than Beremy in the sense that Bonnie wouldn't put Kai on a pedestal and tell him she would die a hundred times to have him standing before her. He wouldn't be part of their partner swap circle of a group, he wouldn't cheat on her or tell her he's in love with someone else after she had just saved his life and lost her magic for it.

LOL, well with the caveat that almost every relationship on the show has problematic origins, but yeah, relatively speaking Bonkai should have been far healthier. Bonnie won't have been dating Elena's younger brother. Won't have had to ask Elena for fricking permission to date him. Won't have been his third choice; and there were no ghost exes for Kai to cheat on her with. She'd be dating a powerful wizard, not someone she's constantly protecting and sacrificing and dying for, who lost his Hunter powers whenever they were together and was more of a badass outside the relationship than in it.

But the truth is that, Beremy was bad because it was written badly. Bonnie being the third girl Jeremy was serious about shouldn't have mattered any more than Stefan falling for Katherine first mattered to Stelena; Katherine's return reconfirmed that the feelings he had for here were nothing compared to what he felt for Elena, and that she abused him to boot. Vicky's return and Anna's return should have let Jeremy realize how fundamentally dysfunctional those relationships were - Vicky was an older teenager with her own issues; and Anna was using him until the end. Jeremy could have got his Hunter powers earlier and been a formidable ally and protector to Bonnie. Bonnie never needed to die for him or lose her magic for him. Even when he's shot by Sheriff Forbes, she didn't need to call on the witches to save him - Caroline could have just snapped his neck and the Ring would have brought him back. The same thing happens to Alaric in season 3 when Elena kills him and that makes him recover from a stabbing. And something similar happens in season 6 when Liv kills someone so the person's death no longer triggers Tyler's curse.

I guess what I'm saying is, all the potential won't have saved Bonkai if it was written by the same people that wrote Beremy. Even if it had been canon, they'd have found a way to ruin it. Just like they made Enzo in love with Lily as they were establishing Bonenzo.

Elijah poured himself another cup of tea, politely ignoring the crash of furniture coming from upstairs. “Miss Forbes,” he offered, holding the kettle toward her.

Too busy poring over the textbook open beside her breakfast, Caroline gave a small grin of apology without looking at him. “I’m more of a coffee girl, thanks.” 

Glass shattered somewhere above them. “Perhaps some blood, then? I believe it will be a trying day. Best keep up your strength.”

“I appreciate the concern, but I think I could pass a freshman bio test while hallucinating from a wolf bite. I’ll be fine.”

He arched a brow, barely stifling his amusement. “I meant—”

Sighing, she finally met his intent gaze with exasperation. “I know what you meant, I just don’t have time to indulge his mood swings. Part of the deal of me living here is that I get to maintain a normal college experience, regardless of whatever world domination he has in mind.” Another crash of splintered wood broke her train of though, and she grimaced at the ceiling. “Or when things don’t go to plan. Why do vampires even keep wood in the house? Sure, you guys can’t exactly die as easily, but it seems impractical.”

“Noted,” Elijah said, just as Hayley stomped into the dining room and helped herself to the spread they’d barely touched. As she bit into a scone, he offered her a cup of tea as well with a concerned eye to her visible pregnancy. “I assume the meeting didn’t go well.”

“Your brother is an ass,” she snapped, frustrated. “Apparently, marrying the father of my child is an affront to his ego.”

Caroline groaned, slamming her book shut. “Oh, please. I’m as tired of his power trips as the next person, but we all know you and Jackson getting hitched bolsters your claim to lead the pack. Kind of goes against the agreement to live and let live without declaring a winner to the alpha war you guys are having, don’t you think?”

Hayley rolled her eyes. “Of course, you’d take his side.”

Glaring at the ceiling again, she forced her fangs to stay tucked away. “I’m so tired of this damn town. How’s anyone supposed to study when everyone is bickering over fake hierarchies?” With her enhanced hearing, she caught the offended huff coming from the studio. Letting out a slow breath, she gave her best fake smile to Hayley, then a more aggrieved expression to Elijah. “Please excuse me, I have a hybrid to admonish for petty disruptions.”

When she made it up to his studio, however, she was the one with her back pressed to the door. “A petty disruption, am I?” Klaus asked, his lips a distracting inch from hers as he pushed into her space. “Pray tell, sweetheart, the sins for which I need admonishment.”

With a sharp grin, her hand dug into his hair and tugged, baring his throat to her teeth. “I have a test in two hours and no patience for your tantrums over Hayley.” Her fangs tested the edge of his jaw, and she mused, “Unless it’s not about the pack at all.”

Klaus pulled back at that, brows knit as his eyes couldn’t leave her mouth. “Caroline—”

“You’re not just acting out of jealousy, are you?” she asked, trailing her lips up to his ear. “Did you want to be the one to knock her up, claim their little wolf dynasty for your own?” She shoved him back then, her stare hard as he glared. Worse, he looked a bit scared. A bit of tough love was in order, but she didn’t mean to make him question her. Speaking more gently, she leaned back against the door to show she wasn’t leaving anytime soon. “I get it, it sucks that New Orleans and all the vampires, witches, and wolves won’t fall in line behind you.”

“They’re not even trying,” he complained, running a hand through his mussed hair. “And now, she—”

“Hey.” Putting her hand up, Caroline refused to up with the pity party any longer. “You’re the one who told her about the Crescent pack and its likely connection to her, which you noticed at time she clearly didn’t bother you so much.” They both winced at the reminder of his tryst with the wolf, a past that couldn’t be buried back in Mystic Falls as easily as they’d like. “You break it, you buy it, and all that. Can’t we just...move on with our lives? Maybe have some fun while we’re at it? Without the supernatural warfare, preferably.”

His head tilted to the side, and she saw the predatory glint in his eyes half a second too late. Before she could argue, he lifted her into his arms and had her pressed against the door once more. “Now,” he said, his voice low through his fangs as he brushed his nose along hers, “where’s the fun in that?”

She kissed him with bruising force, tugging his lip with her own fangs. “You have one hour,” she warned, working his shirt out of his jeans. She tore it, though, at his challenging expression. “I mean it, Klaus, or else I will find somewhere else to live. Someplace with fewer distractions.” Her nails dug into his sides to emphasize her point. “My study schedule has been ruined enough.”

“Not quite,” he smirked, “but an hour will have to do.”

“For the time being,” she agreed, laughing when he lifted her back into his arms to carry her toward the lone sofa not destroyed.

1) Dutch Yardeen - Totally amazing and complete badass. I love her depth and her complicated feelings she has for Khlyen. And her and Johnny are the ultimate platonic otp.

2) Klaus Mikaelson - Love this patricidal vampire with severe daddy (and mommy) issues, there's a bizarre dark humour in him killing all three of his parents. Even when he's a terrible person he still endears himself with his charisma and occasional vulnerability.

3) Caroline Forbes - I love how she starts off insecure and playing being a Badger before growing into herself after she becomes a vampire. It's refreshing to see someone actually enjoy being a vampire rather than feel it's a curse. Also, she's definitely a source of inspiration for my oc Cecily.

4) Han Solo - The loveable rogue is one of my favourite character types and Han is a classic. I love how he starts off only out for himself (and Chewie) but grows to love Leia and Luke.

5) Cersei Lannister - What a great evil matriarch whose family is destroyed because of her own actions. Her povs in the book are an excellent example of an unreliable narrator and I like how they kind of undercut her as a villain by showing her to be less capable than previously thought.

Hi! A fan of your writing here. I just love the way you write Caroline. An Avoidable Heart is my comfort fic and I am constantly in awe with the way you write and craft the dynamics in that story. Caroline's inner monologue is just priceless and God! I just love that intro scene where Caroline is walking into the Mikaelson compound with vampires and hybrids in the surrounding ready to pounce on her.

And ALSO Caroline’s monologue is quite honestly the easiest inner monologue out of the three voices I wrote for that work, Klaus’s is the real pain in the ass tbvh like it is NOT easy writing pretentious besotted losers with a Kardashian complex especially when you need to make them sound cool when they’re the lamest OP dude bros to ever exist - and no I don’t hate Klaus although I seem to try my darndest to convince ppl I do- I just personally believe that a feral fucker like that with a thousand years of existence under his belt can grow a pair and graduate from his kindergarten level of emotional maturity to adult sometime soon, But then on the flipside he’s so grossly adorkably smitten and feral for Caroline plus hella horny for her all the time that its usually easy to write the trashed and devoted idiot he is into something pretentious and powerful and potent when relating to his unflappable arrogance and his narcissism, but sometimes I also need him to be *deep* and ffs profound for the sake of the plot and jfc my muse just wont work with me on that, she’s like I’m sorry I’m not about to bust my ass to make this mongrel intelligible like no sir all I wanna do is make him uncomfortably horny for Caroline and leave him like that.

So smh yeah the struggle is real….but lmao Caroline is just so precious and fiercely protective and just so achingly lonely in that story, so desperate for connection and trust and intimacy yet so guarded and impervious to everyone like it hurts me to write her like that but it really challenges me as an author to balance out her inherent light with the “void” I create in her and through her, so yeah it’s a very fulfilling task and I wouldnt change it one bit, and also I had to balance out her physical op-ness w half a millennium of the ugliest emotional trauma lol so I guess that figures, but the point being….once again I am overjoyed knowing that you liked a facet of the story that I tried so hard to make as authentically Caroline and achingly real and moving as I can and I cannot possibly feel more accomplished than rn for it so ty ty ty ty for reaching out to me and telling me *tackle hugs* It makes me GIDDY knowing that you enjoyed that particular part of the story like ugh stab me please you're too sweet.

HEADCANON 1

Honestly my biggest headcanon when it comes to TO crossovers somehow always include non-humanity!Caroline like it’s just so perfect to me?? The opportunity to make shit BLOW UP b/w them like imagine the DEBAUCHERY, the heat, the SEXUAL TENSION, the repression of one Klaus Mikaelson, the EXPLORATIONS, and omg the role reversal when Klaus has to be the voice of moral reason between them and not bc he believes Caroline would not be able to stand herself if she does something heinous and monstrous but bc he wants her to be completely and utterly herself, and yk *aware*, when she DECIMATES ppl to the ground and is in full-on predator mode, like he wants her monster to come out and play with him when no part of Caroline is locked away or suppressed, so obviously when she is w/o her humanity KLAUS exercises restraint on her behalf, like can you imagine that, Klaus restraining himself and being the vague, extremely broken and just largely inaccurate moral compass between the two of them for ALL the wrong reasons- and the entirety of NOLA just standing there watching him herd this baby vampire who seems to be intent on riling him up and angering him when all she is doing is giving him a massive hybrid hard on, like IMAGINE THE GOODNESS of non-humanity Caroline wrecking NOLA and Klaus letting her wreck it bc he is helpless in the face of Caroline Forbes and also bc he is quite honestly *enjoying* the debauchery himself so why put a damper on the festivities.

-I might wanna add that I favour this headcanon a lot bc I genuinely do not even remotely *like* the idea of NOLA as Klaus's chosen place to set his roots so like I would love Caroline going to NOLA and destroying everything there just bc I detest NOLA and the storyline behind it in TO. (yes is it petty? Obvi, but like I am a petty soul and I make no apologies ma’am)

HEADCANON 2

So yeah that’s my main TO headcanon, but my other one being, one I talk about very frequently, scream about in tag rants to an obsessive level, and like this is a cracky one but still very valid, where Caroline rolls up to NOLA humanity intact and all, finds Hayley preggo and is just laughing her fucking ass off bc anybody ANYBODY, with half a brain and a two minute convo w klaus would know how UTTERLY stupid the entire baby shit is especially when it’s with an immemorable one night stand, and Caroline’s just losing her shit about how like an entire city is obssessed w this baby and she just straight up tells Klaus he’d SUCK as a dad (which he really does tho like he was a shitty fucking dad canonically too) and Klaus is just like *sigh* girl tell me about it. I mean basically he’s finally relieved that someone is on his side about the whole baby thing and how he definitely does not want his entire millennium of life to finally sum up to this one squalling leaking stinky infant/unicorn Hayley is apparently baking in her oven, and I say this headcanon is cracky bc klaus would never have put up w this mess long enough for Caroline to come in and sort it out, there’s this preferred method of disposal of his called heart ripping that would've been employed quite early on and honestly saved us all a lot of brain cells and minused years of life, bc let’s be real any Klaus who’s NOT a lil snivelling bitch wearing a Klaus skinsuit would’ve yeeted the baby and the mama first chance he got, and that’s just how I see it.
