So I saw Across the Spider-Verse

Rambling about my girl under the cut:

AU Earth-99001

Hero name Carmine, civilian alias Fay Fauster, she works as a writer/editor for the Daily Bugle. Originally from PA, she moved to NYC after college to find a job. After an assignment in which she interviews the Doctors Connors, she is bitten by her spider.

Her powers are roughly the same: super-strength, stick to walls, spidey sense. She was bitten by a tarantula, so she's a bit stronger than the "average" spider person. The bite also caused her hair to become tougher. Tarantulas have "urticating hairs," that they can fling as a defense mechanism, and so does Carmi. She can do this with all hair on her body, but doesn't use it very often because she doesn't want to rip the suit (she did not make any of her gear, but that's a whole backstory that I'll explain elsewhere).

Her webs work a bit differently as well, they are not organic, but cannot be fired like "normal" webs. Instead they activate with physical contact, so she needs to get close to slap a bad guy to wrap them up. Her webbing material is also closer to silk.

She's got little claws and minor mandible-adjacent growths in her gums, but the latter are more cosmetic (and inconvenient) than functional. Although! Her normal saliva does have some funky chemical properties and you will definitely have a bad time if it gets anywhere near your skin

Her eyesight did not improve :(

Fay (and by extension Carmine) is pretty much a pacifist. She dislikes conflict in all forms, and the idea of intentionally hurting others makes her physically nauseous. She much prefers to fill the role of passive observer: to wait, watch, and see how the situation is resolved or resolves itself. If becoming involved is not optional, her avoidant tendencies allow her to observe and analyse her environment to work through non-violent (or as close as she can manage) solutions.

As a civilian, she is quiet and nearly invisible, and enjoys it. She lives through what she writes. As a hero, she finds it surprisingly easy (when behind a mask) to pretend to be someone else, a character that is confident and witty. Her heart, however, stays the same. She is kind and believes in second chances.

Roommates and eventual bffs with Black Cat, has the Enforcers on speed-dial, is pen-pals with Electro, her suit was made by Vulture and Doc Oct, and effectively became a sister-figure for this universe's Lizard (Billy Connors = Newt)

Lore thickens. Alastor said it little wrong tho, he didn't literally make her overlord, he gave her a chance and she used it. But he likes to think that she's an overlord thanks to him (he's not that wrong)

Also, Carmilla's earrings kept mysteriously disappear in every fucking page lol (i forgot to draw them)

Another Anime-like poster for @notherpuppet 's radioapple AU ! (Sorry mare for the double ping if you already saw this on bsky) Its like the other one i made months ago, based off of a spy x family poster. That's why I like the AU so much, I find the two similar in a way I cant explain very well 😅 I wanted an excuse to draw all of her character designs, since they are SO good, but a couple stumped me such as-

Rosie, because she was only in a masquerade outfit, i couldn't tell which was part of the mask or not so I did my best And Velvette's design was only featured once with opacity colours

I had this idea back in August, and started it in October (when it was supposed to be finished), so consider it an early Christmas present woo! 💚✨

Hello everyone! I was in a creative mood, and redrew the VERY FIRST art I made on my blog which kindaaaa blew up. (You can see that post here.)

The info is still regularly the same, with the main character not existing, and the Paldea trio are being sent to Kitakami.

Nemona never found her rival, and upon being possessed, she goes from attentive and intuitive and loving battles to sluggish and stubborn, and will continue battling others even if they have no Pokemon left. And since Kieran, Carmine, and Geeta have to work to defeat her, she found her match.

Penny was never allowed to see their friends after Team Star still got expelled. Upon meeting Pechakeen, they go from prissy and timid to friendly and sociable, though that kindness is all just an act, and the chance they get, anyone they deem as a "bad guy" they'll ruthlessly bully and humiliate them. Since Carmine had drove Penny and the others off, Penny found the bully they could stand up to.

Arven still never was told about the incident in Area Zero, and with his Mabosstiff dying and his parents never around, Arven felt alone, left to deal with his negative self confidence. Upon meeting Pechakeen, he went from brash and unapproachable to apathetic and dramatic along with Sada's temper and Turo's emotional coldness. While the real Arven is still trapped in a false reality in his mind, this version of him never questions a thing, putting on this wimpy act until someone does something he doesn't like, and the temper comes flaring.

PLEASE!!! ASK ME QUESTIONS ABOUT MY AU!! Whether it be story changes, Paldea trio, whatever!!!

Made a Hazbin Hotel swap AU a while ago and wanted to show off my designs! I'll make a post with more information about it soon^^

While the roles have been changed, the characters still maintain their core personalities with minor changes to fit the lore of the AU.

(ex. Alastor is in Charlie's role as the founder of the hotel, but he's still a devious little shit that doesn't believe in redemption while Charlie fits the role of Alastor as the patron of the hotel while still maintaining her kind and optimistic personality.)
