RE Update

I thought I would post a little update on my gaming life since I will be posting RE works soon. I have a couple written, I just haven’t edited them yet. So I’ll do that eventually. But anyway, my sister convinced me to play the RE2 remake since she loved the games so much, and wanted someone else to take part in her hyperfixation. And I really enjoyed it, and the RE3 remake, so I bought the origins pack.

Upon my family’s suggestion, I played 0 first, because chronologically, it came first. Now, I know some of what happens in 1 from my sister. So, plot wise, did it make sense, not at all. The camera angles were so freaking weird, and there were no item boxes. It was insane, and really hard. I thought I was done after the 4th location at first, lol, jokes on me. But I finished all six! And I finally finished the game and will be moving on to 1 soon. So I figured I’d share my thoughts regarding gameplay and story.

I thought Rebecca was in character, and Billy was an interesting character (tho he was the npc most of the time and I kept yelling at him). But seriously, I have no idea why she wouldn’t have mentioned any of this, the facility, or Marcus, or anything really. Or how it made sense for her to go through this and get hurt multiple times and ok somehow by the beginning of 1??? None of it made sense, also them canonically in cut scenes being bit my infected monkeys?? I dunno, but all in all, I feel really good about beating it because of how hard it was.

The monkeys were the hardest part for me, and I was just raging through the box puzzle in the treatment plant. I enjoyed it, and am already adjusted to the camera angles going into 1. Anyway, that’s my little gaming update, and I’ll be posting the fics soon!
