Everyone tells you abt how weird Cecil is and yadda yadda but no one prepares you for Carlos I feel. Hes a marine biologist who moved to a desert. It took him a near death experience to ask his crush out. He took theatre in college. He came on radio. He spends hour choreographing TikTok dances. After being trapped 10 yrs in a desert otherworld they write an entire book abt him learning to let go after causing horrific consequences due to his studies on it to then make him IN PODCAST open a portal to that same otherworld and the only thing he can think while horrifying consequences are happening AGAIN is trying to perfectly describe the sound it makes. He stashes illegal writing utensils. He did throat surgery on himself. His idea of science is mixing bubbling coloured liquids and saying hmmm a lot. Everyone wants him. He’s a great dad. His middle name is Dave

Hey so. I’ve gotten absolutely obsessed with Welcome to Night Vale. Specifically Kevin, though I love the whole show.

I’ve decided to cope with how season 12 fucked over my boy by making this super rough low-effort animatic to a clip of Against The Kitchen Floor by Will Wood with Kevin and Carlos because I am obsessed with them.

I just. I love the potential of Kevlos as a dynamic so much. All the angst and fluff potential is just- GAH.

Every few episodes I'm reminded that Carlos is constantly in lab gear. This man just walks around in a lab coat, goggles and gloves. He even buys designer lab gear. Lovely :)
