The weird thing I feel about Disney

If you wanted me to be honest, I really don't think a lot of Disney characters are cute. Funny, maybe. But not cute since whenever I think of a cute character, they're more likely to come from something like Sanrio than Disney. It's like this with me because I kind of associate the Disney characters not so much with sentimental cuteness but rather adventure, humour and observations of human behaviour (through a funny animal lens) if it weren't for people like Carl Barks and Floyd Gottfredson.

The Sanrio characters are more likely to evoke sentimentality and if you will, mawkishness from me. Well they tend to be syrupy in a way it's not with the Disney characters, but this is just my experience reading those Carl Barks and Floyd Gottfredson comics. So they don't really register as cute in the same way the Sanrio characters are, but I suppose this is why Duffy the Disney Bear and his friends do so well in Japan. They're the most Sanrio of all the Disney characters that I can think of.

I might be part of a minority that thinks this way, but I don't really see Mickey Mouse as cute the same way Hello Kitty and Keroppi are to be very honest.

I was so happy that Felony Carl adopted this cute little kitty, and although they started off on bad terms with Globby (since he pulled the cat from the alley), the fact that Globby and Felony Carl live together with them as their pet means they must have warmed up to Globby so as to not scratch his face off all the time. ;) I thought it'd be cute to show Globby and their cat (I like the name Jasmine for them ^_^) having some fun time playing while Felony Carl catches this wholesome moment on camera.
