Saw some lovely people talking about this fic I just posted, so I thought I may as well link it here if anyone wanted to check it out!
Idk why I felt awkward about posting this one, probably just my usual self indulgent rambling coming into play haha, but I'm sure there's one or two of you who might like it too :)

Hear me out-
Vander from Arcane as a caregiver
please I am begging, he is my favourite Arcane and I crave more of him

[ 🍺 ] ’ vander from arcane as a caregiver !
⚙️ ꒱ I certainly shouldn't fail to make this request. vander is canonically a father with a huge heart and he did everything for his children. I also love him so much! — He definitely gives the strongest and most comfortable hugs in the world, knows how to deal with his little ones' big emotions and will teach them to defend themselves. Such an awesome carer.

like you cannot look at that man and tell me he doesnt give amazing hugs. if you asked for a hug he would press your head into his chest gently, no explanation needed. a large hand splayed on your back holding you secure, the other tangled gently in your hair, fingertips brushing through the strands.
on long, sleepless nights, he would stay up with you, telling stories of his own adventures, until he finds you snoring gently while leaning on his shoulder. with a soft sigh and a gentle smile he carries you to bed, tucking you in with a soft kiss to your head.
i feel like he would hum soft melodies while he tidied up The Last Drop, twirling you around while cleaning. wiping down counters and washing dishes, either letting you watch or, if you really wanna help, letting you sweep the floors. but only a small portion.
(i’ve only watched two episodes and im already in love with the show. so painful, but so good.)

i fear some people aren't ready to face the fact that at some point vi had to let go of her parentified-child role because it would also mean understanding that jinx is an adult who makes her own choices and doesn't need protection the same way she needed back when they were kids. vi says so herself ('why did you come get me? you don't actually need my help, you haven't for a long time').
everyone who expected vi to become some sort of leader for zaun didn't understand that the reason she fought so hard in her youth for her family was because what she truly craved for was safety for herself and her loved ones. it's the whole reason she has that conversation with vander back in episode 2 of season 1.
vi going after jinx when caitlyn opens the cell would only reinforce the idea that vi has to step into the role of caregiver/protector again. vi isn't jinx's mom, she's her sister, and she has her own battle against her internal demons.
in fact, she spirals down very quickly once locked inside the cell, which is later reflected when caitlyn finds her; she's certain she screwed up again and she believes she's lost both jinx and caitlyn, and she knows it happened because vi was being herself, by doing something she wouldn't have done during her act1 self.
her fallout with caitlyn happened because caitlyn couldn't accept who vi truly is, so how can vi expect caitlyn to be okay with what she's done, when that was the reason they grew apart in the first place?
because caitlyn chooses vi, she prioritizes her over her revenge. caitlyn lets go of it because she loves vi for who she is, and not despite it.
jinx and vi love each other unconditionally, even if they don't understand each other entirely ('i didn't get to do much of this with my sister, she was more into hitting things'), so how could anyone outside of her family love vi, while simultaneously understanding her?
vi probably just went through ten different scenarios of how caitlyn is going to reject her for it, for showing who she is, and who she's always been.
and what does caitlyn do in response?
by this point caitlyn doesn't believe vi has forgiven her, so the whole 'you've grown a bit predictable' isn't a pickup line to get in her pants.
this is caitlyn's attempt at cracking a joke.
vi's worries are met with a dumb phrase that's meant to cheer her up, the same way vi did back in episode 1 ('thought for sure you were gonna get yourself killed').
she spiraled down believing she had lost everyone, and caitlyn proves her wrong with an easy smile and a reassurance; 'this is who you are, i know it, watch me be more than okay with it'.
this, for vi, must feel so, so freeing.
this is the one thing she's been craving for her whole life; the feeling of safety. i'm me, and i'm safe to exist that way in here.
she spent her entire childhood fighting to provide that stability for her family because she was given no other choice but to step into that role, she pushed her own needs aside to make sure everyone else was okay. and now, her sister is an adult who has survived without vi's protection, who has accomplished a lot of things without her big sister by her side.
now it's vi's turn to crave safety, it's vi's turn to choose and let someone else make her feel safe and reassured.
vi's not a symbol of zaun, that's what characters like sevika and ekko exist for; neither of them were pressured to step in and take that role, they fight for their city because they chose to and because they want to (and, if i might add, they're very good at it!).
she's just a girl who went through some really fucked up things in life and only ever wished for a little stability.
and she finds that in caitlyn, so she chooses it.

Why You May Not Relate to Vi's Choices in Season 2
Tumblr media
Vi is an adult who was parentified as a child, and her actions are largely influenced by the lasting psychological effects.
If you aren't familiar, parentification is when children become caregivers in their families and take on responsibilities that are inappropriate for their age. These responsibilities are often beyond their capacity, either because they lack the knowledge or the emotional maturity to perform these adult roles.
In Vi's case, she was largely left to care for the well-being of her siblings in the place of a consistent parental figure. And likely even before they lost their parents, Vi was left to care for Powder when her parents could not. The show literally starts with Powder in the care of Vi. Which can also explain why Vi was very deeply affected by the loss of their parents, while Powder was not, since Vi would likely have been her primary caretaker.
In adults, this generally can results in:
difficulty functioning independently
a greater risk of anxiety, depression, and substance abuse
difficulty setting boundaries: generally neglecting oneself to satisfy the needs of others
trouble relinquishing control
feeling a need to be a peacekeeper
tending to be a "fixer"
There are other things, but the ones above are the ones relevant to this discussion and they constitute a significant majority of the signs in adults. So, with this context in mind, let's take a trip down memory lane.
Inmate 516
Tumblr media
Humans don't exist in a vacuum, but Vi lived in the closest mental equivalent of it with her time in Stillwater. I don't think it's a stretch to assume the Vi that Caitlyn meets is much more emotionally grown than the young teenager who was dragged off by Marcus.
The one thing I've gleaned from the show about Vi's time here is that she has this Schrodinger's Powder thing going. She tells conflicting stories to Caitlyn and Jinx, but neither seem like a lie. She believed, or "knew", her sister was dead but persisted with the thought that she'll get out and return to Powder some day.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So, to survive her years at Stillwater, the only thing keeping her going is this idea. Her own self-preservation is reliant on this feeling that she could return to not only Powder, but also the way things were. She still wants to take care of her sister. And honestly, it's only further reinforced by Vander's last words, "Take care of Powder."
Tumblr media
Enter Caitlyn from stage right, detective extraordinaire, bearing the sole evidence that Powder is, in fact, alive. Vi's daydream becomes a reality and she wastes no time shooting any shot she can to get out of Stillwater.
Tumblr media
A Little Walkabout with a Piltie: Part 1
Gather round ladies and gentleman, here we have our top hits under the "trouble relinquishing control" category, featuring:
"Too risky": a tale of avoiding bathyspheres.
"Don't you wanna blend in?": There are easier ways to get people out of their clothes, but I guess forcefully throwing clothes you just stole off a stranger 5 minutes ago works, too.
"We're here because I'm hungry.": Not the best first date, but at least the food was good.
And a fan favorite, "You're hot, Cupcake."
Tumblr media
Jokes aside, all of these actions are meant to maintain control over Caitlyn. This is Caitlyn's investigation, Caitlyn released her, and Caitlyn is an enforcer. All things that should give her control, but Vi is not having any of that knowing Powder is out there. Thing is, though, the result would likely be the same if she did let Caitlyn have more agency. Afterall, they are looking for the same person. The only thing she is gaining by doing these things is the control itself.
A Little Walkabout with a Piltie: Part 2
Well, our favorite redhead runs off to get stabbed and has to be nursed back to health by Caitlyn. Here, we have a significant dynamic shift. Caitlyn tells Vi she has a "good heart." Right before Vi passes out, she hears Vander telling her the same echoing in her head. When she wakes she sees:
Tumblr media
Vander and her mom, Felicia, were Vi's major caretakers growing up. When Vi becomes conscious to her surroundings, she's met with Caitlyn caressing her face. Suddenly, Vi is associating these people's care for her with Caitlyn. It is exactly at this time that Vi begins opening up and allows Caitlyn to act as a caretaker.
Flash Forward to Tragedy
Well, we all know what happens, but the major takeaways here are Caitlyn has suddenly lost a parent and Vi has realized she can no longer help Jinx, she cannot "fix" her.
Caitlyn is no longer in a position to care for Vi in the way Vi needs, and Vi needs someone to care for. The roles in their relationship have suddenly been reversed. When Caitlyn opens up about the void her mother left, she says, "It's all coming apart."
Vi tells her "We won't let it."
Tumblr media
If Caitlyn needs to keep things together and needs to feel control in her life again, then that is now also what Vi needs.
The Grim Truth of the Matter
Honestly, the most harmful thing for people who were parentified as a child is the fact that it becomes extremely difficult for the person to prioritize themselves over others, especially the ones they love regardless of if those loved ones treat the parentified adult fairly or not. You would be amazed the degree to which a parentified individual will let themselves turn a blind eye and forgive and sacrifice themselves.
I think a lot of people found Vi's story arc dissatisfying in season 2, because a lot of it relied on other people and her making seemingly uncharacteristic choices. Like her purpose in the show was solely to help other storylines. The sad truth is, parentification creates a severe lack of sense of self, and I think this is the biggest hidden battle for Vi throughout season 2. Who is she when she isn't acting in the interest of others? What needs to happen for her to let all of that go? How do you show that?
It doesn't feel great, because at the end she's only at the beginning of her healing journey. And if you have trouble relating to her struggles, you probably can't relate to the struggles of parentification, yourself. It's hard to understand the effort required to let go, and by the end, Vi has. I think my favorite representation of this change is how she has less bindings as the story progresses until, by the end, she has none. She has finally unburdened herself and is learning to prioritize her own needs, and now she can finally begin to properly heal.
Tumblr media
No, it's not the most satisfying ending for a character arc, but not all major wins end in thunderous applause and fanfare.

Ideas for Season 2 I Would've Liked to See/Explored More:
Ambessa explicitly acting as a motherly figure to manipulate Cait, who's grieving a mother. Especially since Cait had a complicated relationship with her mom, centered around Cassandra being overly protective/unsupportive of her choices, with Ambessa being everything her mom wasn't.
Jinx and her relationship with Zaun. In s1, she doesn't have much of one due to isolation (encouraged by Silco as well as self-imposed), other than the fear and discomfort she inspires. She doesn't have to become a revolutionary (although its odd that there was so much marketing and set-up for it), but at least explore that. People who love her, people who blame her for Piltover's retaliation, people who are unsure. This could also be a great chance to establish more about in-universe Jinx and Ekko, since Ekko's character is very centered around the people of Zaun.
Vi as a person. Having a chance to explore who she is outside of being a sister-mother and a prisoner. Struggling with making choices for herself as someone either completely robbed of them (as a prisoner) or who couldn't afford to make selfish choices (as a caregiver). Exploring her immense untouched trauma, as well as her relationship to Zaun. Her guilt as an enforcer possibly causing her to double-down in support of the revolution, maybe by joining the Firelights and supporting Ekko.
In a similar vein, Jinx as a person. She's established as a character that latches onto one person (her main caregiver) and has a tendency to absorb parts of that person (morals, behaviors, etc). I would've loved to see her without a main person, possibly as a parallel to Vi. Vi discovers who she is without someone to protect while Jinx discovers who she is without someone protecting her.
Cait and Jayce's relationship. It was completely thrown to the wayside. Overall, s2 tended to sideline platonic and familial relationships for romantic ones.
Ekko as a person outside of his relationships to other characters. We know like? Nothing about him and his time during the time skip in s1. Does he like being a leader? Does he not know how to define himself outside of being one? Does he resent being forced into the role and having to grow up way too fast? A combination of all of the above? How long has he been the leader? Was it him alone that established the Firelights, or were there originally older rebels that passed long ago, leaving only him? Like please, let him be a character. I know people joke about him being perfect and universally unproblematic, but a lot of that is because they don't give him enough screen time or any realistic flaws or let him organically develop beyond being a plot device.
Jinx and Ekko's relationship. This doesn't have to be romantic, just them and their in-universe dynamic please. At the end of s1, we had this big moment where Ekko, who had been coping with it by insisting Powder was dead, realizes that Jinx is just grown-up Powder, and that he can't kill her. s2 then does nothing with this, fobbing him off into an alternate universe with an alternate Powder. I would've loved to see Jinx and Ekko struggling to work together, getting to know each other in a capacity other than enemies. Ekko emulating Vander's 'we don't give up our own people' and protecting Jinx from Piltover despite his better judgement.
Y'know what? Ekko and Sevika. Both two people desperately fighting for Zaun, in two wildly different ways. I would've loved to see them interact. They probably would've gotten into a fist fight, but just imagine the Ekko-Sevika-Jinx power trio heading the revolution.
The Wolf vs the Fox. Mel as a formidable politician, working in the shadows to undermine her mother. Her putting everything she's learned in Piltover to use, weaponizing the lessons learned from her banishment. If they were so desperate to include the Black Rose plotline, they could maybe have Mel becoming obsessed with protecting Piltover from her mother and going so far as to ally with her brother's killers.

Why does everyone assume Vander would be rowdy, fun, cool and lenient parent while Silco would be soft and nurturing but the disciplinarian and overprotective one. Their parenting style is canonically the OPPOSITE to this.
Vander is shown on-screen disciplining his children for going against his rules. He's not particularly strict (I don't think any parents in Zaun are tbh I think children just kinda roam unattended a LOT) but he does have rules and expect them to be followed. He has that Stern Dad voice down to a science. He has that "I'm not mad I'm disappointed also you're grounded" vibe down pat, and he scolds them because he is worried about their safety. This is a man who is taking childrearing seriously. He's also shown being very soft and loving with them. His little smile when he gives Powder juice. How gently he encourages Mylo when he successfully lockpicks the cuffs. He is soft and nurturing. He is protective. He is gentle but authoritative.
Silco meanwhile allows Jinx to do whatever she wants. You can argue he disciplined her when he yelled at her for killing those enforcers but 1- she committed a literal massive terrorist attack that derailed ALL of his plans and he's acting like she stole his car or something and 2- what we see is not the same practiced discipline that we see from Vander. This is not a man who has established a relationship where he is the Parent and she is the Child and must follow his rules. He is emotional, almost childish, acting more like her friend or colleague being pissed off than her dad. He is not protective, he lets her play with bombs and do all sorts of dangerous shit. He cares about her safety, he's obviously distraught when she's hurt, but he cares about her freedom more. He lets her fuck up constantly without repercussions. He lets her dress and act however she wants no matter how poorly it reflects on him because her freedom mattered more to him than anything in the entire world-- more than his own, more than his dream, more than his life, and more than her safety. He also appears a lot stiffer when it comes to expressing affection, even though his love for her is obvious, he lacks Vander's warmth.
This isn't to say Silco would be a worse father or anything, rather that he is objectively the "fun dad" who lets his kids do what they want, has absolutely zero backbone, and isn't as good at expressing affection but makes sure his kids know they are loved by him.
What I'm saying is Vander is so obviously Primary Caregiver and I don't know how people mix the two up.
Just kidding! I do know. It's the classic Forcing Hetero Gender Norms Onto A Gay Couple! You know, because Silco is small and dainty, and small/dainty = woman and woman = mommy and mommy = "does all the parenting work" = nurturing, affectionate, strict and protective.
Meanwhile Vander is a Big Strong Masc Man we know That = "Real Man" (vomit) = father = "gets to be the raucous fun parent and doesn't have to actually do any real parenting" (again vomit)

Omg that's true!!
I'm so tired of these people saying Vi and Caitlyn's relationship is toxic, I mean literally the same thing she said Jinx and her relationship with Ekko wasn't good either and Jayce and Viktor too.
It is natural for problems and disagreements to occur in relationships, but it is not natural to think that a relationship will be peaceful and good all the time. These things only exist in Disney movies.
But apart from all that. Seriously guys hating on Vi or Caitlyn or both is way over the top. Like let's just imagine JUST IMAGINE, if Vi were male, the narrative surrounding her actions and character would change dramatically. She would likely be hailed as a "brother hero," a model of loyalty and kindness despite impossible circumstances. Her trauma, in prison, losing Vander, failing to save Jinx, and so on, would be sympathized with as a testament to her strength and determination.
Her status as the “bad sister” is undoubtedly tied to gender expectations. Women, especially older sisters, are often burdened with the role of caregiver, and are expected to be endlessly compassionate and self-sacrificing. Vi’s moments of anger, guilt, and mistakes, however, conflict with societal stereotypes of women as the natural “fixers” of emotional and familial conflicts. The fact that Vi is pigeonholed as the “bad sister” while Jinx is often seen as the tragic victim reflects deeper gender biases. Vi’s traumas and emotional wounds are ignored or minimized because she is expected to be the “strong one,” while Jinx is given sympathy and a more nuanced lens because her messiness and vulnerability fit into certain stereotypes of women who are broken or in need of saving.
It’s a frustrating double standard, and it underscores just how progressive Arcane is by refusing to fully give into those tropes. Vi’s character still shines as someone strong, flawed, and deeply human, but the criticisms she faces highlight how society treats female characters with such biases.
The misogyny is REAL and don’t think for a second that other women aren’t fully participating in that also. The amount of shit Vi gets for temporarily joining the Enforcers with Caitlyn to stop Jinx is insane. A male Vi would have been seen as a TORTURED HERO for joining up with the EVIL FORCES that took his parents away all so he could do HERO THINGS. But Vi does it? “Wah wah she joined the COPS she’s A TRAITOR THE REAL VI WOULD NEVER”. Like. Watch the show, my friends, and you will see she did what she thought was best and it was a very complex and very emotional decision for her; she hated every second of that uniform. But no, people shit on Vi and then complain like any of them could write a better show. Ugh.
And nobody would have hated a male Vi for having his love scene. Nobody. In fact, it would have been EXPECTED, but because Vi’s a woman, and a lesbian expressing her big gay love for her gorgeous gay lover, some people refuse to see her humanity and her growth as a person in that moment. I'm so tired
And the argument that we hate them because they did bad things is not true, I have seen people hate Caitlyn just because she is lesbian and one of them said if she was a straight woman I would have accepted her character on the show. Seriously this is someone who takes his criticism seriously, he forgot the story and everything in the show and focused on whether the characters are gay or straight or worse when I saw a comment from someone saying why are the main characters on the show female characters? Like is this an idiot or is he drug or what exactly? I think we should also ask, why do men always take the lead roles and when they are evil they are better, and if they are good they are also better, but if a woman comes along who is evil or wants to be evil or does just one mistake everyone hates her and she is the worst person in the world, but men are the only ones who deserve to play the role of evil and do bad things and we will sympathize with them and love them. THIS IS CRAZY!!
To understand what I'm saying more, compare Viktor's character and Caitlyn's character and you will see that Caitlyn was the character who was criticized the most even though she didn't kill anyone innocent and in the end she tried to fix things, while Viktor tried to kill all the people of Piltover and Zaun and didn't care about anyone, even his friend's pleas, he didn't care about them and Viktor thought that this was the solution but to end the conflicts between the two cities. But is there anyone who criticizes this, is there anyone who says that this is a bad act, of course not, yes you will see some people justifying it, as they did with Silco, the person who killed an entire family for control and drowned all of Zaun with shimmer and made the children work in dangerous factories, and there is not a single criticism, and people defend him even after Jinx's condition worsened, no they say that he is better than Caitlyn, my god like what the fuck!?
Then they tell you we don't hate women we don't hate gays or lesbians, just shut the fuck up, everything is clear, Arcane revealed to us that there are still people who are fanatic and traditional to the extreme who still want to see a man as the hero of the story and that all people and women should respect him even if he is evil and cruel he is always better than this bullshit, Arcane proved to us that it is possible for both sexes to appear in an excellent, strong and realistic way without insulting or belittling the other because these things are not useful and will not help in telling the story in any way.
Quick note I don't hate Jinx or Viktor and many of you who follow me know that I love Viktor very much but I will not deny the bad things he did and I am also really tired of the hypocrisy of some people and their constant criticism of other characters and characters. Just bc they say like these characters
Like I don't like Silco but have you ever seen me post every day criticizing Silco and Silco fans all the time or go to Silco fans and tell them if you like Silco then you support child labor and the drug trade and blah blah. Like they do with Caitlyn fans when one of them says he likes Caitlyn they accuse him of supporting collective punishment and corrupt governments and police brutality just because he likes a fictional character. I've never seen such stupidity and backwardness and bullshit in my life, just because I like a fictional character you think I will act like her in real life?? These people need to grow up seriously or find a job

I don't think Caitlyn or Jinx fully considered the toll it would have taken on Vi if she had killed Jinx, like it quite literally would have destroyed her
For all Vi saying that Powder was dead and that Jinx killed her, we all know that she believes that she created Jinx (and it likely only solidified that belief when Jinx said as much to her), meaning if Jinx killed Powder then it's a fairly easy step for Vi to generally believe that she killed her sister already, BUT that is a whole lot different than ACTUALLY killing her herself
Literally if that had happened, I very much doubt Caitlyn could have pieced Vi back together and helped her through, especially considering that she more or less pushed for it and even if she hadn't she was essentially the trigger for Vi deciding on this, Vi either would have likely ended up killing herself or would have spiralled until it killed her, the guilt of it all eating her alive
Because Jinx is still her sister, no matter what (and as it turns out with the rest of the season), and with so much of her family gone (and as much as Jinx blames herself for everything, Vi likely completely believes that even if Powder was the one to set off the bomb, she was the one that kick started these events (was the leader for the heist) and she put Vander in place to be taken by Silco and then brought Claggor and Mylo with her to rescue him, AND THEN afterwards she lashed out at Powder resulting in the essential creation of Jinx (even though Mylo started it, she solidified it, and Silco just furthered it along), so Vi pretty much certainly believes herself responsible for those deaths and might even blame herself for their parents' deaths too as they were fighting for better lives for her and Powder) being the person to end the last of her family and really the family she was supposed to protect the most, it would have destroyed her, and the only thing that may have kept her alive at that point might have been the belief that she had to live to punish herself for it
It would have been AWFUL
But neither Caitlyn nor Jinx were REALLY thinking about Vi then. Sure she was part of their plans, but they were both thinking about themselves and what they wanted (and Caitlyn was of course thinking about Jinx but I don't think Jinx was thinking too much about her beyond a potential wrinkle in her plan for Vi to kill her)
And really what's sad is that seems to have been so much of Vi's life because she's not thinking about herself either, she's thinking about Jinx and Caitlyn, because she was always the protector, the one looking out for others, but so few people were looking out for her (Yes her parents did but she was fairly young when they were killed and by the time Vander dies he's largely relying on her to look out for Powder, Claggor, and Mylo and eventually probably the whole Undercity, looking out for her yes, but also putting pressure on her to continue as a protector and caregiver (and to be clear this isn't right, but he also didn't have much of a choice with the way things work in Zaun) and while Caitlyn somewhat looks out for her she definitely hasn't really been for awhile by the time of the confrontation underground and what happens after that only really makes it all worse)

Vander makes sure you don’t accidentally get hurt while you play outside. Well, a few scrapes never hurt anyone, but no broken bones on his watch.
Silco encourages you in your hobbies. He gets you super special supplies. They may not all be acquired ethically.
Sevika teaches you a new skill. She isn’t mean, but she is stern and very thorough. She wants to make sure you have this skill for years to come.
Singe takes care of you when you’re sick. He asks how you’re feeling A LOT because he is nervous.
Ambessa teaches you how to play chess. She lets you go back if you make a move that hurts you in the game and explains what may be better moves to help you learn. If you are too little to play chess, she teaches you checkers with just as much tactical insight.
Heimerdinger gives you an endless supply of fidget toys you’ve never even heard of. Your mind is going to be blown by the Hex-slinky.

Age regressor Silco headcannons
Tumblr media
⭐A toddler regressor, very quiet too when he's regressed unless he's in a tantrum
⭐Super secretive about it like the only people to ever find out were Vander, Felicia, and Jinx
⭐Regresses from stress which is normally from his workload or drama happening with the chembarons or shipment issues. Used to also be from loud parties and the last drop being too crowded
⭐Has a secret room filled with regressor things that he warns Sevika and his other workers to NEVER go into and to not bother him when he's in there no matter what
⭐Used to be a very well behaved little that just liked to make drawings and play with blocks but after his falling out with Vander he became very fussy and would throw tantrums almost every time he regressed
⭐Masks that he's regressed if he can't get to his safe room which normally means turning his 'crying and hitting the ground' tantrums into a 'beating up and firing the person closest to him' tantrum
⭐The others have learned how to pick up that he's about to throw a tantrum and leave as soon as there are warning signs
⭐This scene was one of his tantrums (s01e06, 'guns for hire' scene)
Tumblr media
⭐Most of Jinx caregiving for him is her teaching him how to play as a kid and not just cry and hit stuff
⭐They doodle over stuff together, Silco is always a lot more shy with drawing over random things but Jinx gets him to open up
⭐By the end his art style is almost the same as hers. his drawings start out super scratchy, only using greys and stuff but they turn really colourful
⭐he loves having all his plushies and bottles covered in Jinx's drawings
⭐At first she tries to avoid drawing on his stuff to give him space when he's regressed but she finds he clings onto anything she's drawn on and she starts decorating more of his stuff
⭐If he's feeling really little she'll blow stuff up cause he likes the pretty colours but he always gets mad at her when he's big again
⭐ Jinx also regresses and she started suspecting he might when he first saw her regressed and immediately knew what was going on
⭐one day she heard him sobbing in his safe room and went in

Past Vander and Felica Stuff:
⭐Vander first found out when Silco went into a backroom of the last drop when it got too loud. Vander followed to check up on him and Silco quickly put away his notebook and crayons he was drawing with and tried to do his best impression of being big. Vander wasn't convinced Silco was okay and kept checking in on him.
⭐Later Vander followed up with Silco, asking him if he was actually okay back then and Silco admitted to him he regresses. he was really worried Vander would find him weird or think it was for weird reasons but Vander just asked him more about it and how he can help
⭐Vander then got Silco a bunch of stuff, markers, bottles, stickers, anything he could find
⭐Silco loved being held by Vander, it made him feel so small, being in Vander's big arms
⭐Felica found out when she walked in on Vander taking care of Silco. Vander tried really hard to cover for Silco but Silco decided he trusted her enough to tell her his secret
⭐She would occasionally take care of Silco if Vander was busy but he never liked her style of cging as much
⭐but when Vi was on the way he starting letting her be his cg a lot more so she could get some practice in and feel more sure of herself
⭐he would always be sure to tell her how good of a mama she is
