When I say favorite I mean like.. I'm always enjoying it? I might overlisten and get sick of other good stuff but most of this album has been sticking around my playlists since it came out. .. And I've just been relistening to it so here comes the rest of it to invade my playlists for another like. 8 years ?

And I'm loving 81 Special off the new album bc it kinda has the same sound as robot face did. Missed that. Totally respect them taking new directions with their sound but damnit i missed my bouncy shit (Love Portabello for sounding like Panic too, that was my comfort album for a long ass time)

Heyo! Not a request but a silly question. Been reading your amazing writing for a bit now and I really like your titling style and was wondering how do you come up with your fic names? Is it just always straight forward for you or are there ever some you gotta think about?

They’re all titles of Motion City Soundtrack songs aside from the Ramattra fic. Originally it was just a nod to the band because they’re what I listened to when I first started writing TF stuff on FFN years ago. I try to pick songs with lyrics that make sense for the TF the story is about, but I’m running out of songs now since the band didn’t really have that many albums and I’m struggling to find matches. I may have to branch out going forward.

For instance, someone asked for Vortex. May use ‘I Can’t Decide’ by the Scissors Sisters for him since it definitely fits that psycho. I listen to a lot of different stuff, my music tastes run from alt folk rock like Lord Huron, The Oh Hellos, The Moss, and Brown Bird, to punk rock like The Matches, RIVVRS, and Motion City Soundtrack, electroswing bands like Caravan Palace, bouncy bands like Siine, all the way to jam bands like Govt Mule, Moe, and Widespread Panic.
