new caravan palace albummm
their label rules for letting them post the whole-ass album on youtube as a single video
#nonsense radio#music#i'm doing bad today for personal reasons but this album is really good :)#i didn't like chronologic because i felt like it was too vocal-forward and it didn't feel like caravan palace to me#this one (gangbusters melody club) feels a lot more like panic and robot face so it feels familiar#but it has a good balance of new vocals (as opposed to resampled vocals) and instrumentals#i like how the vocals blend into the instrumentals a bit more as opposed to being more separate#it's good :) i like it#of course i support them taking new directions and experimenting a bit like with chronologic but i just wasn't personally a fan of it#it felt like they were chasing the success of 'lone digger' a bit by going more lyric-forward (since that song is more lyric-forward)#but i think a significant part of lone digger's success was due to the mv being shocking and interesting#even tho 'comics' never really saw that kind of success despite the mv being weird as fuck#who knows!#panic is my favorite album but i should make a tierlist lmao#OH I COULD MAKE A TIERLIST OF THE SONGS THATD BE FUN
