He sustains a minor injury and now he's going to spend the entire campaign season talking about his 'assassination attempt' and how it was clearly done by democrats and how he's the most wounded warrior in our country's history. fuck's sake.

I don't want to get into politics on main too much, but with two confirmed deaths, it makes it less of a possibility for being staged. I would, admittedly, not put it past him, but more than worry about the legitimacy, what I think we're going to have to brace for is a lot of rage and violence from his supporters.

Hate crimes against visible minorities are going to surge.

Stay safe out there my friends. Do what you need to, and please, if you can do so safely, be sure to vote. I know - I KNOW - you don't have to say it, because I KNOW.

What this man needs is a nice AU and a chance to own his own business. Auto body repair, mechanical engineering, or a BDSM club owner. Ten years he's insanely rich and still working in the oil change pit with the newbie.

Poor new guy doesn't realize he's the CEO/Owner until like 8 months in. He's been bitching about this asshole to KILLER of all people and Killer's just glad the newbie's letting off steam.

Kid takes a while to get used to, after all. But once you get there, you stay.

hey hello and welcome to my ask box! thanks for asking about hickey hockey ehehehe. here's a snippet though i keep saying im gonna redo this one to make it 3rd person POV. This is a story that is loosely inspired by @mamaalpha 's and I utter OBSESSION with this show on Hulu, Shoresy (and by extension, Letterkenny). and OFC its a Kid Pirate au/ One Piece adjacent AU

Setting my bags on the floor, I take a look around the old farmhouse. It’d been nearly 10 years since I had stepped foot on the land. The 10 acres of private property had been in my dad’s family for generations and would continue to stay in the family long after he passed; the will had recently been updated to remove my mother from receiving anything but the house and property would be deeded to me and my younger brother.

I still have hopes and ideas for this fic and I just need to be in the right frame of mind to do it. ALSO SEASON 3 of SHORESY COMES OUT JUNE 19!!!

me complaining about oda's crimes about writing women underneath the cut.

oh my god....i wanted to like boa so badly like....i hate being one of those people who hate female anime characters...but oh my god. sometimes i think that oda is only capable of writing women well when he doesn't think of them as women. does that make sense??? because every time he tries to write a character where being a woman is a part of her character or even address misogyny it's like he becomes aware that he's a shounen writer in his late 40's and his character writing takes a nosedive. genuinely feel like everything he was going for with her just flops so badly for me. i also don't think it helps that amazon lily (my least favorite arc besides fishman island...which wins out because the pacing is....atrocious.) comes write after the emotional impact of sabaody and right before the one two three punch of impel down, marineford, and post-war. like every chapter we were still dicking around doing men are from mars shtick on that island i was screaming at my screen ACE IS DYING lol

8 - Any reacquiring dreams? Assuming this means reoccuring dreams: not at the moment, but that has happened to me in the past! As a kid I used to regularly dream of being hit by a car (surprisingly always the exact same dream, which fueled my idea that it would actually happen one day lol). It has significantly impacted my relationship to cars and driving (aka I'm scared of driving and it was a nightmare to learn.) More recently I've had many dreams of being chased by a bear or tiger. Though these dreams aren't exactly the same, I would count them as reoccuring as they have the same feel (total panic).

10 - Would you say you're an emotional person? Yes, I think so! I tend to feel every emotion strongly and intensely, so I cry easily. But also, I think my brain easily shuts down if stimulated beyond a certain point (like turning off after overheating), so I can spend hours or days feeling nothing when that happens. I think I maaay have a little unemotional side of me, which I am trying to understand at the moment (I suspect this is due to a past burnout, so I am trying to investigate!)

28 - Do you collect anything? There are things I enjoy keeping, though I would not call them a collection (post cards, note books and tea boxes). Having too much stuff in my home (like shelves very full) makes me super stressed out, so I try to avoid accumulating things in large numbers. If I had a bigger place, the collections would certainly grow haha

30 - What's one thing that never fails to make me happy / happier? Going outside and seeing FLOWERS. It makes me so happy thinking about how humans just love to make things more beautiful. For the sake of seeing them grow, we plant flowers. For the joy it brings. What is more loving than that? And it's a gift for everyone that walks by! I also go nuts about seeing new leaves on trees in the spring, and new blades of grass. In the winter we have no vegetation at all here, but I love seeing fresh snow, and I am FULLFILLED whenever I see dogs wearing those cute little doggy boots because they are adorable.

Right now it was just all hosts, or well, escorts, since it was after hours, but you were the newest.

re: the ask about how Kid and Killer would impress someone they want, I've gotta tell you I've been unable to stop thinking about Kid hamming it up for like. the entire evening. Just sat here consumed by affection for the big dork. Please I beg, what would hamming it up look like, in your opinion? Does he make a big show of lifting something heavy specifically when the person can see? Is it more a show of comparative physicality (he is so big and can lift you SO easily)?

I can really see him doing like, overly exaggerated muscle man poses, flexing his arms and jiggling his pecs and giving you the widest, toothy grin he's got.

This is the kind of guy who, in a modern AU, would reenact that Gaston song from Beauty and the Beast, and lift a bench with the crew on it, cause "heftin' a bunch of willowy chicks into the air ain't nothing, watch this mouse!"

Killer, Heat and Wire don't make it easy on him either, they're probably drunk and lurching everywhere and he's gotta control 'em enough to set them back down, cause it's not cool if they fall everywhere - funny, sure, but still xD

the big sap probably says stuff like how he doesn't toss you around to show off cause you don' weigh enough for it to be a show of strength, and if he accidentally hurt you he wouldn't know what to do. Tells you you're stronger than him anyway, cause no one else can bring him to his knees but you.

@swampstew : Writes STUNNING work both short and longform, absolutely loves Kid, and if you like her writing she has a huge backlog of stories both on her blog and on her wattpad. A++++ 10/10, she also runs a blog and is writing a longer series for Killer, KillerCook, which is SO splendid.

She also does headcanon lists, a TON of events, and x reader things, I'll link some starter ones here, here, and here. (the last one is to an anthology of short stories and drabbles on her wattpad that is a ton of fun)

@standfucker : good GRACIOUS me, okay listen. Standfucker does it all. A+++ Kid characterization. Hot, well-balanced, well-written stories. They write for a bunch of characters and also do like, multiple people in a pairing/scenario stuff, and it's all phenomenal.

First one is one of my personal favorites, which involves all the Kid Pirate officers here. This is also one of my fave pieces, you get Kid all to yourself in this one here.

@wyvernslovecake : If you'd like something a little more crew-oriented and a little less x reader smut oriented, PLEASE I am begging you look into their Kid Pirates and Cross Guild little drabble posts with their character Shriek (who is the cutest little bat mink on the Grand Line), and the named characters Gabriel and Gryphon who are [spoiler characters for current arc] and adopted by the Cross Guild. Everything they write (and draw!!) is so delightful and fun, it will brighten up your day by AT LEAST tenfold.
