#cont thoughts of my last rb but. i think ppl are so quick to say that teruko is a badly written character bc of her role in the story??#idk how to explain it but. yeah bsd isnt the best at writing female characters and theres hints of misogyny here and there#but ppl always say teruko's entire character is a product of misogyny and that is just. not true.#prob bc people focus too much on the fact that shes a rare female character idk#yeah shes extremely dedicated to the hunting dogs and fukuchi. her LEADER. i dont think thats misogyny#people dont say that about chuuya being extremely loyal to the mafia 😭😭#'her having to give the credit to fukuzawa for killing fukuchi is so misogynistic!!!' except youre ignoring what that scene is really about#it's about two kinds of people. how fukuzawa couldnt kill out of love vs how teruko killed because of it#it's about the fact that SHE can do it. shes strong enough to. SHE understands whats necessary. SHE pushed her feelings aside.#which i thought was amazing. it really solidified her role as a SOLDIER which was how she was introduced. shes VICE CAPTAIN of the hd i fee#like people always forget that.#it's also rare to see a female character act on smth that isnt emotional cause it's always male characters pushing aside their grief for th#better. i loved that we were shown how fukuzawa who is stone cold and an ex assassin CLDNT do it while teruko who is explosive and emotiona#could!! it was an interesting side to both their characters#thats not to say teruko isnt a victim of misogyny. cause people do hate her for traits they love in other characters (shes very similar to#ranpo and chuuya and jouno off the top of my head)#but to say that her entire self is a result of misogyny is doing a disservice to her character#and shows that you cant look past her relationships with male characters idk#saying she doesnt have anything outside male characters is so untrue i cant stand that argument. bc SHE DOES. youre the one not seeing it#her role during the skyfall arc was amazing how do we forget that#anyway sorry. to each their own ofc im not defending bsd's occasional bad writing#but teruko get behind me djhfjhd

Luffy/Zoro calling you their Wife.
I had to write this idea with these two. I enjoy it way too much, hehe. Anyways, let's start!
Luffy
Tumblr media
"Y/n is my wife" Luffy said those 4 words only to get rid of Boa.
The former shichibukai had been pestering him about marriage for the nth time in the last few days.
He was done, he didn't want to hear the word marriage ever again but the empress couldn't get it in her head.
You on the other hand had gone there to talk with your captain about the tiny details he hated to solve.
You have managed everything around the ship since more than a decade ago. If someone needed something they went to you.
And you reported everything to Luffy even when he wasn't paying attention. He trusted you. You were basically his vice Captain, even in battles.
You had once been a captain of your own ship before joining the straw hats. You knew how to do the work, so you just did it.
"What?" Boa looked at Luffy with a mix of horror and pain.
"Luffy!" You were going to admit that was a lie, that there was no way Luffy would ever marry.
But Luffy pleaded with his eyes. Luffy was almost 30 but was able to pull such cute puppy eyes on you that you had to fight the instinct of hitting him in the back of the head.
"Y/n?" Boa asked sadly and Luffy pointed at you, right behind her.
She turned to look at you with disdain and then her furious eyes suddenly showed panic.
Boa knew who you were, well most people knew about you. The Dragon of the West, you had helped Luffy all those years ago to become the pirate King. If the yonkos still existed you would be at that level.
"You promised you would tell anyone!" You sighed getting closer to Luffy passing by the side of a contrite Boa, only to pull Luffy at your level to kiss him.
Luffy didn't back off, he took you by the waist and welcomed the kiss. He pressed you against his body and deepened the kiss.
Your relationship with Luffy was casual, sometimes you had sex, sometimes you cuddled and sometimes you were just friends.
There were feelings involved, of course! But you didn't put on labels, you were pirates for gods sake! You loved freedom!
"Excuse me" Boa said in a tiny embarrassed voice and left in a hurry.
You pushed back to break the kiss but Luffy didn't back away, staying way too close to you.
"Come on" Luffy said before carrying you in his arms in bridal style "you got marriage duties in my room"
"Put me down Luffy I just came to bring you a report" you told him looking away from him.
"Forget about it, we gotta consummate our marriage" he joked and you laughed.
Zoro
Tumblr media
"Oi, that's my wife" Zoro didn't say it to brag, he wasn't angry, it wasn't a menace. It was just a piece of information that Chopper told him to say if men started to bother you too much.
Some of the Mugiwara crew were out on the island you had stopped by. Sanji was hunting ingredients, Nami was looking at clothes and you decided to stay close to Zoro as you both went for Sake.
"I'm flattered, but I'm not interested. '' You told the guy who flirted with you but he didn’t give a shit what you said because he started following you around like a lost dog.
Sanji had asked you if you wanted him to kick the man away, but you, being the sweetheart you were, told him not to bother and so, he sighed and went his own way.
Zoro on the other hand, He didn’t ask. He said those words hoping the dude would stop and walk away.
Your relationship with Zoro was excellent, there was a thing going on between you two but it was a secret. You didn’t wanted Sanji bothering Zoro or Nami asking you about why and how that had happened. You were not embarrassed of being Zoro’s couple. It just was impractical.
And you two were too practical to make things complicated.
Sanji froze in place at the hearing of the Marimo's words, then he whipped his head in your direction for confirmation even when he was at least 100 meters away.
“Wife? a beauty like you is with that… animal?” the man asked and you frowned, they could say whatever they wanted about you but no one messed with your friends and especially not with your lover.
“Well the “animal" as you call it, is the best swordsman in the world" you said stopping to look at the man in annoyance "He unlike you knows that when I said "I'm not interested" I meant fuck off" you told the asshole but he made heart eyes at you.
"You look beautiful even when you are mad" he whispered and you felt a vein pop in your temple. "I'll give you anything you want, just give me a chance sweetheart, I'll buy the most expensive jewels, the best dinner in town… I'll make you forget about him"
"Okey, that's enough" Zoro muttered to himself as he unsheathed one of his swords to point at the man. "You can't buy her, she's mine" that time he was angry, he moved the sword slightly and made a scratch in the man's shoulder
The man shrieked in pain and you looked at Zoro with a smirk.
"fucking Pirate, I'll call the marines, then you…"
"The marines can't help you, you messed with my wife, I'll take care of you…" Zoro was ready to kill.
"She's not even that pretty" the man said afraid "she's just a pirate's whore"
With a big smile you stopped Zoro by putting a hand in his chest, his eye met yours and he put the sword down, giving the man the perfect moment to escape.
Only for you to throw him a needle to the neck, making him fall in his face, paralyzed.
He tsked at you and sheathed his sword.
"Fucking scumb" he muttered, still angry.
"It's ok, I don't care" You answered and he looked down at your lips. Your hand was still over his chest.
"I do, no one talk like that to..." He doubted, he didn't know how to label you
"your wife?" He blushed at your words and looked away
"Yeah" he answered, pulling you closer by the waist.
"Thank you, dear husband but let's not make an scene" you were about to kiss when…
"So you two are together, uh?" Nami said, appearing from nowhere, making both of you freeze on the spot.
Zoro blushed even more and so did you.
"Fuck" Zoro said in a whisper and you cursed too.
Sanji appeared running, cursing Zoro for his words and the fact that you two were together.
You giggled and Sanji attacked Zoro for being such a "lucky bastard" for getting you.
Of course your smile vanished when Nami asked about the wedding and how come she wasn't invited.
You two have made a big mistake.

Many Paths Few Resolutions (NSFW) FT Yujin
Tumblr media
Authors Note: An Ask I thought would be interesting to do but wanted to do my spin on. If you see a nod or an easter egg you recognize it is probably intentional
Officer's Log March 4 22,003,456 " Begin Log: The Federation has recently appointed Officer Yujin Ahn as my second-in-command following my defense of her at the tribunal regarding her potential execution. While I stand by my decision, the weight of responsibility over her causes me great distress. I feel ill-equipped to handle her unique condition as a joined symbiont, especially considering her previous host's infamy as a warlord, which greatly troubled the Council. At times, I find myself questioning whether I should have left her to her own devices. Yet, I know deep down that such thoughts are rooted in my own selfish concerns. I made the right choice, and any trepidation I feel stems from my own shortcomings. End Log."
Captain Arthur Sisko is a well-known figure within the Council. His leadership in navigating his ship and crew through the war-torn Klaxosaur quadrant has earned him widespread recognition, making him the youngest captain in Council history. Alongside his accomplishments, he tirelessly advocates for improved relations between core and tertiary planets under Council jurisdiction. Despite his vocal criticism of Council bureaucracy, he remains one of their most esteemed members. Recently, his decisive action saved the Council from potential annihilation at the hands of the Uru-kai Warlord Majin-ahn, whom he defeated in an honorable duel to the death.
This victory resulted in the symbiont leaving Majin and bonding with Yujin. Despite the Council's concerns that Yujin would follow in Majin's footsteps, Captain Sisko fought vehemently to spare her from execution, ultimately securing her position as vice-captain aboard his warship, the Altruist.
As Captain Sisko concluded his preparations for his inaugural voyage as captain, a knock sounded at the door.
"Come in," he called out, adjusting his uniform with precision.
"Captain, Vice Captain Yujin reporting for duty," Yujin announced as the door swung open. Captain Sisko's gaze meandered to Yujin. Despite her previous host's volatile temperament and nature, Sisko found himself enchanted by the Uru-Kai. her short hair and big soft eyes drew him in and he found himself reminded of his childhood friend Tendi. He wondered what happened to her.
"At ease, Vice Captain. Please, call me Arthur. We're peers here," Sisko replied warmly. Yujin nodded, entering with an endearing smile. Both she and the symbiont had developed a fondness for the young captain. Hailing from the Periphery planet Sentai-V and sharing immortality with her symbiont, Yujin regarded Captain Sisko as an equal.
Unbeknownst to him, he had crossed paths with three hosts of the symbiont before his Academy Combat Teacher Ayami, Majin, whom he faced in singular combat, and Tali, the symbiont's first host, whose heroic spirit left an indelible mark.
"So, Yujin, I haven't had the chance to learn much about you. Why did you join the fleet?" Sisko inquired.
"My planet, Uru-Kai, was being coerced into war by Majin, and I wanted to put an end to it. But it seems my worries were unfounded, with the fleet under the command of such an accomplished and handsome officer," Yujin replied with a playful smile.
"Yujin-ahn, while I appreciate the compliment, I believe it's best to maintain a strictly professional relationship," Sisko responded, his tone gentle yet firm. Yujin smirked in response.
"Okay, one thing though, is it okay if I still call you Arty?" Yujin asked, and Captain Sisko froze in surprise.
Yujin's question hung in the air, a thread of curiosity wrapped in familiarity that tugged at the edges of Captain Sisko's consciousness. He froze, his mind racing through the corridors of memory, searching for the connection that Yujin's words hinted at.
"Arty," Yujin persisted, the name a gentle prod against the barriers of time and space.
Sisko's brow furrowed, his eyes narrowing as recognition dawned. "Only five people in the entire universe would know to call me that," he murmured, the weight of years and lifetimes settling upon his shoulders.
He fixed Yujin with a piercing gaze, his voice low and measured. "I am going to ask this once. Vice Captain Yujin-Ahn, did you have a host by the name of Tendi-Ahn?"
There was a pregnant pause, the air thick with anticipation, before Yujin's response shattered the stillness.
"Took you long enough to recognize me," Yujin quipped, their tone laced with a hint of amusement. "Although I don't blame you, since my skin isn't green anymore."
Sisko's blood ran cold and hot simultaneously, a rush of conflicting emotions coursing through him like a tidal wave. The first thought through Captain Sisko's mind was relief that quickly morphed into immense worry all of his fears of another Majin were gone and replaced with the obvious Conflict of Interest that Having his first Love being his second in command.
"I am unsurprised that you grew to such Heights. you were always more than capable in whatever you applied yourself to," Yujin flirted with her Captain. Memories of better times flooded her brain as did the fight between "her", and the Sentairian. it combined to make a very unique form of arousal that only served to further her desire for the captain. Unsure how to proceed Captain Sisko did what believed was right and began the procedures of reporting to the proper authorities the situation. When Officer Yujin saw what her Captain was doing she was both impressed (Majin's consciousness) and disappointed (Yujin's consciousness).
"You betray your feelings for the for the Fleet?" Yujin asked intrigued.
Captain Sisko nodded before responding, "Despite my mixed feelings towards you. Our crew deserves a level-headed Captain and I can't be that with you around."
Yujin smiled and before she could stop herself she said, "See a man of conviction. A true Warrior through and through. Not an autocrat who's only looking out for his own skin. No wonder you were deemed worthy by Embercleave and able to defeat me." as Yujin spoke she drew closer to Sisko. Memories flooded between and around them as she caressed his face. her eyes shone as they reflected in his.
"See that's what I always liked about you. You always do the right thing, even if you don't want to," Yujin-Ahn said as she stared into Captain Sisko's eyes before taking his lips into hers. Sisko couldn't help himself and gave in to his body's wild demands. Yujin stripped the officer of his uniform and hers as the two shared a Volcanically Violent kiss that made their mating molten. Yujin's idle fingers found their destination as they meandered down to Captain Sisko's cock.
"Oh Captain, my Captain! You're so hard for me. I should do something about that," Yujin cooed as she lined Arthur's cock with her snatch. She gently pulled him into her. Sisko could only feel relief as he entered the young lady, as if years of tension finally released. which in a way were. Yujin moaned as she helped Sisko bottom out in her.
"God you're so big," She moaned into his ear. Yujin's face held an evil smile knowing she was about to "Corrupt" the "Incorruptible" Captain Sisko. She relished giving him something he "earned" in her eyes.
"Go on fuck me. you know you want to," Yujin Ahn moaned. Captain Sisko overwhelmed by his own biology pushed her down to the ground of his chambers and "filled" her request. At first, his movements were reflective of his outward persona. Slow, Methodical, and calculated. However, as he fell deeper into Yujin's web he found himself losing control. His thrusts became wilder and more erratic as he chased his own release.
"God Yujin. you feel so good," Arthur Sisko moaned completely lost in lust.
Yujin smiled as she replied smugly, "Why of course we were destined to be together eventually," Her walls and pussy were gentle to the weary warriors. Her body tight and firm was a reprieve from all the chaos of the Fleet and the galaxy's conflicts he had faced. as their coupling grew more intense the two found themselves eye to eye. Yujin smiled as she saw the unhinged man before her. A fire she once saw when he was a child. An untamed spark that threatened to burn everything down flickered in his eyes.
"Yes, Captain. give into that fire. let it consume you. let it guide you. You earned it," Yujin moaned as her Captain exploded in her. She smiled as her release also hit her.
When their rationality came back both returned to their personas before cleaning up and getting ready for the shift. on the way to the ship, Yujin asked Captain Sisko this,
"So Captain what are my first orders?"

YUNO GRINBERRYALL
Dating the notorious Yuno!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
summary: dating the vice captain of the Golden Dawn is an experience you don’t want to let go.
genre: fluff (obvi) had to get him on here. How can he be so pretty? fanfic + headcanons cause I spoil all of you
A/N: I’m still an active member of the BC fandom and I’m thinking of making this a series. Please send requests of characters you want me to do!
;not proofread (💨)
———
Yuno isn’t the type to actively seek relationships, mostly just the type of person to reply and talk to somebody when first approached. And or somebody paired him up for a mission. So taking an interest in something other than being the best of the flock is new territory.
Getting to know him is getting to know him entirely. Despite his detached nature, Yuno is actually very open to getting to know you. Already seeing you as a romantic interest despite his goals, ambitions and dreams.
When actively entering the courting stage, Yuno is very competitive. Striving to let you know that you are one of his priorities and doesn’t see this “courting” as a one time thing. Don’t even bother speaking with other guys, Yuno will let you know he is interested.
His behavior changes, his demeanor is different too. It gets to the point his squad notices his absence after being done with a mission and is somehow nowhere to be found.
Klaus and Mimosa are naturally curious. What was he doing? What was he thinking of? Or who?
It’s perfect timing he was back in town.
“Do you think Yuno’s been disappearing lately?” Mimosa asks, walking with Klaus in the hall. She looks up at Klaus who was comically adjusting his glasses and posture.
“Yuno is responsible! We don’t need to worry! I think we should mind our own business!” Klaus shouts as he looks back at Mimosa who clearly knows better.
“You’re curious too.”
“..I’m not.”
Klaus continues to deny but is inevitably shut down. Mimosa has seen through anyway as he adjusts his glasses again with a resounding cough.
-
“Where do you think he went?” Klaus nervously asks, both he and Mimosa hiding behind a wall. Yuno looks to be waiting for somebody as he decides to indulge himself in some bread.
“Do you think we should even be spying? He’s a good man I assure you. Do you honestly think he’s being suspicious? Why do you-“
“Shhh shush!”
Mimosa puts a finger on her lip, effectively shutting Klaus up as he grumbles.
They continue to wait until they heard a voice. A magic knight from another squad! A girl…
“Yuno!” You happily greet him as you hugged him. Yuno is quick to reciprocate, patting your head as you let go of him. Yuno is seen with a soft smile as well.
“WHat!” Klaus’ voice breaks.
“Shhhh!”
Mimosa is quick to shut him up, but this time she puts a hand on his mouth to shut him up. Maybe she should’ve done the spying with a different partner.
“…They’re on a date.” Klaus surmises. After an hour pf following You and Yuno around town, he had made his conclusions. Klaus and Mimosa obnoxiously disguised themselves with accessories to prevent being recognized. Seeing the both of you holding hands and buying street food was convincing enough.
“Obviously!” Mimosa replies, holding a pair of binoculars as she continues to zoom on the both of you.
“Ahhm” You feed Yuno a piece of your crepe as he leaned down to eat his share. He goes back to his position as he hummed.
“Yummy.” Yuno wipes a piece of whipped cream from the corner of his lip.
Klaus is appalled!
Pointing and looking back to both of you, then mimosa, and again.
“Will you please calm down?” Mimosa exasperates.
“I just find it hard to believe!” Klaus is practically hyperventilating. “I didn’t take Yuno for the type!”
“He’s allowed to date.” She deadpans.
Eventually, the date comes to an end as Yuno walks you back to your headquarters. Dutifully letting you ride on his broom for more convenient travel. And an excuse to hold him (wink wink).
Both You and Yuno get off the broom as you dust yourself off. Yuno is quick to ruffle your hair again. Affectionately smiling at you as you hugged him goodbye.
“I really enjoyed my time.” Yuno tells you as you nodded.
“Thank you. It was really fun.” You smiled back at him and by the lords. You are beautiful.
Yuno gives you forehead kiss goodbye as you waved back at him and begin to enter the headquarters’ gates. Gazing at his back for a few more moments to savor more time to look at him.
You definitely have a story to tell much later.
Yuno stops in his tracks as he deadpans.
“I know you’ve been stalking me.” Yuno lets out a heavy sigh. Somebody flinches from behind a wall as a guilty Mimosa and Klaus makes their appearance. Klaus is adjusts his glasses again and clears his throat.
“We congratulate you!” He obnoxiously bows, as Mimosa scratches the back of her neck in an embarrassed manner.
“Impossible.” Yuno sighs and walked past the both of them.
“We did not think this was your after duties!” Klaus is quick to follow as well as Mimosa who right behind.
“How could you never tell us! We are your friends! Squadmates!” Klaus goes on a full rant. “We are supposed to tell each other everything! Aren’t we closer now?”
Before he gets to shout any further, Yuno was already on his broom and leaving.
“What idiots.”
———
HEADCANONS
When push comes to shove, you were eventually revealed as Yuno’s significant other. Causing an uproar with the people he was close with, particularly a certain sylph and an obnoxious person.
Needless to say Belle wasn’t the most happy. Grabbing and pulling Yuno’s face and hair in protest about getting a girlfriend. Her obvious glares towards and sometimes even stomping her feet.
“This is fairrr!!!” Belle screeches. “I was supposed to be your only love! Not that witch!” She grabs a fistful of Yuno’s cheek as she complained and complained. Glaring at you once again.
“Who even are you?!” She accuses you with a finger as you chuckled. “This isn’t a laughing matter!”
Yuno pushes away with his hand eventually, causing her to quiet down as she settles on his shoulder. She still doesn’t like you, but is afraid of Yuno’s disapproval. So she keeps put. But the jealousy is bleeding.
Meanwhile, Asta is swearing up and down like crazed man as he confront Yuno as they come across each other again.
“You jerk! You weren’t supposed to beat me in that department!” Asta holds his head as he rolled around on the ground. Passerby’s whisper as he whined. A child throwing a tantrum? Yeah. Looks like it.
Yuno merely smirks triumphantly.
“You pretty jerk!” Asta exaggerates. Continuing to get up on Yuno’s face as Yuno smirks, lifting his head up when Asta moves closer. But his screams eventually reside.
“But I’ll be wizard king! I’ll definitely surpass you!” Asta declares.
“No way.” Yuno counters.
“I’ll definitely will!” Asta is dragged off by Noelle. “Do you hear me? I definitely will!!”
Noelle slaps him across the head.
Yuno is genuinely so sweet to you as well. You cannot even deny the fact that he puts in effort to understand you more than he does with others. He makes you feel seen and heard.
And if you are the tempestuous type, he’s definitely the cool that’s gonna make you see reason.
He mostly calms you down with a gust of wind to your face and or he playfully teases you by messing your hair up.
You guys indulge in little challenges! Who gets to the end of the bridge first, who can finish a mission the fastest, or who can unlock a new spell in your grimoire. Let’s be honest, you loss on most of these things.
But Yuno lets you win from time to time, purposely running slower or maybe even challenging you to more activities. But don’t be fooled, it’s just a five second head start before he overpowers you. (Haha)
What he loves about you is that he feels comfortable around you (which is canon btw. His type is somebody who makes him feel comfortable. Which I believe you influenced that)
The fact that he can also participate in a conversation with you and or listen actively to you is his favorite past time.
He loves picnic dates because he gets to view the sky (and you)
He thinks you are the most beautiful woman in clover.
Belle still does not like you (lol) but Yuno is starting to slowly change her mind. But as of now she merely tolerates you.
Yuno absolutely loves food dates. Believe it or not he actually likes to get some scrub himself. As per charmie’s constant food she often gives. But mostly to restore his mana.
He loves trying new things with you. The relationship is rarely boring.
Whenever he’s busy he communicates with you with the communication wand. Often in private as he wonders off from the rest of his team. He definitely uses that communication device to his advantage to keep himself updated with you.
He thinks his fangirls are a pain.
Charmie wasn’t too happy with the news. She fainted with heartbreak but eventually accepted the power of the fates.
In conclusion Yuno’s a great boyfriend

Prepare for a very long wordvomits from yours truly (or just ignore)
The thing about me being so frickin obsessed with luffy and zoro's relationship is that... i just think they really are that compatible and perfect for each other in a way that they just, makes sense
Tumblr media
Like yeah i think one or two ships involving zoro and luffy (other than zolu/luzo) are cute or at least ok, but like the amount of love i have for them is like dust compared to my love for zolu:"D And if i'm being reallyy honest, personally i can't really imagine zoro being with someone else that's not luffy IF luffy is present in his life and vice versa?, like for example i think *insert other luffy ship* is cute, but like zoro can't be present in luffy's life for that ship to actually work for me?? So it's gotta be an alternative universe where they don't meet... I can appreciate the fanarts of the other luffy and zoro ships though, as long as they are not insanely wayyy too out of character?? (i just don't actively seek out content of ships that i'm not crazy about)
Not to state the obvious but luffy is my favorite character in one piece:) and right after him, unsurprisingly it's zoro (zoro used to be my number one when i was younger but now he is number two, but i'm sure zoro is fine with me loving his captain just a little bit more, haha)
When it comes to the ships involving my favorite character(s)... i am actually suuuper picky about it? i have to think very deeply about it, like i only want what's best for them, but also the best for the other person too cuz it can't be one sided! And i literally love both luffy and zoro almost equally? (actually i always love the two characters that i ship cuz i can't ship my favorite character with someone that i dislike) With zoro and luffy i've done a lot of thinking. Like, a lot. I thought about all of their potential love interests, every single one of them, but always arrived at the same conclusion that no one completes them the way they complete each other. Proof? Plz just scroll through my tumblr #zolu or #luzo i literally only talk about their relationship😭 They really are the most perfect person for each other. It's almost like they were made for each other? Everything about them, their principles, their personalites, they just fits
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Like they are so insane, because at a surface level they can be interpreted as just platonic (which is a completely fine interpretation for the non zolu people out there!), but when you try to look more into it, on a deeper level, looking at every part of their interactions while considering their characterizations, motivations et cetera, like everything just clicks. Their devotion towards each other, all the little things they say and do relating to each other. They are best friends, they are the captain and the first mate, and maybe they are also something a lil bit more? Sometimes i don't even think i can label their relationship, cause from the outside… their relationship looks so simple, yet not without depth (so much depth!) and nuance. With zolu, you either get them or don't get them at all. One thing for sure is that they work really well together!!
Also, everytime i think about zolu as just friends.. but then i compare my relationship with my best friend(s) to luffy and zoro's relationship... and i don't know, if my best friend treats me the way zoro and luffy treat each other? I fear i will have to drop the "what are we?" question. I'm so serious, like that man? zoro?? He is enamored. Completely whipped- bewitched, body and soul. While on luffy's side, his way of expressing love is more subtle, but i've talked about that before here.
They say there's a thin line between love and hate... but there's also a thin line between platonic and romantic love, and maybe that's why one of my favorite tropes in ships is the one where they start out as friends... (harurin from free, bakudeku, pegoryu, fluri, soriku, cloti, cleon, kimron, percabeth, kataang, lumity, appledash, katyana, korrasami, harlivy, etc #friendstolovers ftw!)
Like luffy and zoro... The god personified and the non believer. Oda is literally so insane for that..
Tumblr media Tumblr media
One is very carefree and easy to put his trust in others. And the other is the more rigid one and needs to slowly build his trust. One is the more emotional one. The other is the stoic and more composed one. They share the same values, the same braincells, they can communicate and understand each other even without having to say much.
Tumblr media
Their colors complement each other, their zodiac signs are compatible, their personalites can be quite contrasting but they actually blend perfectly. They are different but also the same. No one makes zoro smile as much as luffy, no one else luffy likes to lean on as much as he likes to lean and rely on zoro. No one makes zoro worry as much as luffy, even though luffy himself is very strong. No one luffy trusts with his crew as much as he trusts them with zoro, and his nakama means everything to luffy. They are the happiest when they are together.. fighting side by side, laughing with each other, talking with each other... They respect and understand each other the most. They are just so insane and i am also insane and-
Tumblr media
They are the only two strawhats with twin numbers for their birth dates and months. The only two strawhats with CoC. The only two strawhats fighting for the greatest titles (pirate king and world's greatest swordsman respectively) they are the only two strawhats with a lot of parallels (let it be between each other like the hero talk in fishman island, or with the other captains and their first mates, which i kinda(?) have talked about before, here).
Zoro's the only member of his crew that luffy actually tries to find (he doesn’t stumble upon him like how he does with the rest of the strawhats) Zoro is the first person in canon that we see luffy enthusiastically feel it's okay to share his meal with. The first person outside of his family (i consider shanks and his crew, dadan, and makino as part of his found family!) that he cries and worries for (baratie arc). Zoro is the first person that he mentions when he splits up with his crew and the first one he calls whenever they meet again (alabasta, skypiea, punk hazard, zou, etc)
Zoro is luffy's anchor especially during difficult times (e.g. water7), he is luffy's voice of reason (e.g. pre-egghead), and luffy often listens to him (like when zoro gives luffy his assessment of a situation and how he thinks they should handle the situation and luffy immediately agrees to his plan)

And kinda random but meat is like the perfect food for beer! luffy's perfect for zoro!! Meat paired with the right beer can amplify each other's flavors. Even their favorite food (luffy) and drink (zoro) complement each other, like oda are you serious?? and the crazy thing is i'm pretty sure i haven't written down all the things that make me crazy about them
From their deal in shells town, then BOOM! zoro's sacrifice in thriller bark, all the way to luffy's blush, the iconic hug, and whatever tf that "if you're gonna invite our captain to hell, i'll come along as well" // "sorry... now you have no reason to die" bs in wano
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Like how can i be normal about the two characters whose dreams have already merged into one that they can no longer achieve their dreams without each other by their side? i'm on my knees crying thinking about the bond between luffy and zoro-

Things were nice.
Hoshina was kind enough- or rather eager to invite you into his room. It was neat, which was what you were expecting from the uptight vice captain. He did have some occasional scatter of papers that you took note of. "Huh, I didn't take you as the kind to be messy, Hoshina," you walked over to the little desk with some files. You were respectful not to peek into them but you did pick them up to align them.
"Pft, that's why ya need to get to know me better," he had closed the door behind him, you didn't face him since you were now making your way to his bed. "Hm? I guess so," a soft laugh coming from you, you slipped off the lab coat and you gently begun to fold it before setting it to the side.
You watched him carefully, his eyes slightly opened as he removed his suits jacket. You felt somewhat awkward watching him, it was obvious that you were admiring him but the scene from earlier kept replaying. You knew it had to be addressed sooner or later, but soon found yourself leaning back onto his bed.
Some shuffles were heard coming from him, you didn't bother to see what he was doing until it went quiet. You blinked before slightly prompting yourself up with your elbows, your head lazily tilted to the side to see him standing in front of you. His hands in the pockets of his pants and he flashed you that signature smirk.
"Ya make yer self comfortable?" He teased you, but he then went back to digging through his dresser to find something to sleep in. You watched him, your eyes focusing on his hands.
Interesting.
You had heard of Hoshina being an unusual case. He had told you before, and you've heard from others that he came from a clan of swordsmen. He used a sword to fight off kaiju, albeit it was easier when they were human size.
You heard his laughter as he cupped your face with his hands, it seemed like he finally caught onto your daydream. Hoshina's thumb was gently grazing your bottom lip, his own face leaning in close to yours. "Distracted?" The question made you snap out of your thoughts and you gently pushed his face back.
"Easy, tiger," you gently pried his hands off. "We're going to take things slow." You firmly stated, but you scooted and patted the spot next to you, motioning him to sit down next to you. He did so without any complaints, he didn't seem too offended by your actions, but it did seem like something was bothering him.
It was small things that indicated that to you, like the little twitch of his eyes and the way his brows creased a bit. You shrunk a little at the thought of him being upset with you, but all that went away as his hand was placed over yours. It was quiet between you two, it seemed like neither of you knew how to start or rather begin such a conversation.
Hoshina was surprised it was you taking the lead on this conversation. "So..." you trailed off, your head turning to look at him. "I guess... I don't know where to start. But... I have these like... feelings?" You scrunched up your face in cringe. Were you seriously confessing right now?
You should be embarrassed and you should be rejecting any ideas of a relationship- especially at work. You need to tell him off- tell him how it's inappropriate-
But instead, the intense desire to let your feelings out was dominating.
"I like you, Hoshina. But we need to be careful. We can't let this distract us from work. Plus- what if like..." you paused, not knowing how to word this next thing. "You know... you're sweet and all but... I don't wanna be just like this one time thing-" you had poured out your worries.
Hoshina sat and listened quietly, you fully expected him to be turned off about the whole thing but instead, surprised when you focused your eyes on his expression.
A smile.
"Hey," he directed your attention to him once more, and he found himself admiring the way your cheeks subtly turned a light pink. His grip on your hand slightly tightened, "I wanna be serious with ya, I mean- I'm sorry for actin' out on my feelings but, yer too adorable," he mumbled out, his accent slightly coming out.
"So... we both want this," you sighed out slightly relief, but that stop you from feeling anxious on what would happen when Hayami would do if she found out.
Why were you worried about her anyway?
You still wanted to know what he thought about it. "So, let's say that there's others that want to peruse you," you brought up the scenario, "Don't you prefer to... wait?" You winced a bit at the end, you hated to be seen as insecure but it was a genuine question.
"Eh? What?" He was flabbergasted, he should be the one asking you that! "What are yer talking about? Yer the one who's way out of my league," he was almost seemingly wanting to bow to you, it was almost like as if his pupils were shaping into hearts just looking at you. "Hoshina-" you started off but he found himself moving just to lay his head down on your lap.
"Soshiro... my first name is Soshiro," he mumbled, his face seemingly digging into your thighs. It was an extremely bold of him to do so, he even theorized that you would get too flustered and push him off. But instead you brought your hand up to push some of his hairs away from his face, preventing his view from being obstruct.
"Hm? So we're on a first name basis huh?" Your index finger tracing the curvature of his jaw, something about how his lips slightly parting as a shaky breath escaped. "Well... I thought I ought to let you know... it- it just feels good hearing it from you," that definitely made your heart skip a beat.
"Let's keep this on the low... at least until a little bit of time passes," you had both agreed on that statement, but that didn't really stop him since he had spoke about you to Captain Ashiro- hell even Okonogi seemed to know you from him. He would just have to be less vocal about it so the nosy officers don't catch wind of this.
Your eyes were fixated on him, but he wasn't looking at you. It seemed like he was lost in his own thoughts, he wasn't the Vice Captain right now- he was just Soshiro Hoshina, a man smitten with you.
That's how it was for a little bit, he just laid down on your lap while you ran your fingers through his hair. He didn't seem to mind that his usual neat hair was messy now, in fact he enjoyed it. It was comforting that him, how long was it since he could lay down and just relax?
The answer was never. At least- he's never relaxed in the embrace of someone he would hopefully consider a lover.
His arms slowly coming up to wrap themselves around your legs, preventing you from leaving. "Hm? What're you doing?" You mumbled out, your own eyes almost closing on you. You leaned against his head board, albeit a little uncomfortable it didn't matter since your attention was on him.
"Resting," was all he answered with, but he then pushed himself off to reach over to his dresser, pulling out a shirt before throwing it to you. "Here- put this on. I ain't letting you walk back down this late," he sat up, his hands brushing through his own hair so he wouldn't look silly in front you. You on the other hand- shot him a disbelief look.
"Huh? You want me to stay here?" You looked down at the oversized shirt, fingers running over the material. "Mhm, hurry up and change so we can sleep," he was laying down beside you. His fingers flicking at your knee to get you to move, you rolled your eyes at his childish antics, but you still got up to go to his bathroom and change.
His tone was more commanding, and it still pushed you to move. You didn't mind it, but you imagined how scary it was for the officers when he was more serious.
You were slowly discarding the clothes you had on, holding up the shirt to make sure it would fit. You slowly slipped it on over yourself, looking at yourself briefly in the mirror before grabbing your work clothes and folding them. You inhaled deeply before opening the bathroom door to be greeted by the sight of Hoshina laying down, he seemed to be waiting for you since his eyes opened up a bit once he heard you.
"Finally," he mumbled, his hand raising up to motion you to lay down with him. "C'mere, sweetheart,"
Oh wow- the slight raspiness and the deep voice was definitely music to your ears.
You obeyed none the less, turning the light off before you navigated through the darkness to feel for him. You felt his hands grip onto your wrists and pull you down on top of him, earning a squeal from you. "Soshiro!" You grunted out before squirming around to get comfortable beside him, his laughter was comforting and relieved the small embarrassment you felt.
You both mumbled words to each other, slurred sentences from the overwhelming exhaustion. But something about the moment made your heart flutter in warmth, the vulnerability he displayed was affectionate.
You fell asleep to that.
When you woke up, you were facing the door. You were hoping to feel an arm wrapped around you but you turned to the other side to see no one. Now that was alarming- you sat up and panicked. You quickly rubbed the sleep out of your eyes and you were about to rush out of the bed until you saw him emerge from the bathroom.
"Sorry- I didn't wanna wake ya up," he was already dressed in his uniform, his hair neatly brushed into his usual bowl cut style. "Soshiro," you greeted, now you relaxed at the sight of him. "It's okay- I just got scared for a minute." You glanced over to look at the clock, it was still relatively early but it was best for you to dress yourself and start heading down to work.
You threw the covers off before grabbing the sheets and covers to make his bed up. It was endearing that you cared for his space like such, "Mhm, it feels nice to know ya missed me," he threw a playful response at you, but he went to help bring the sheets from the other side. He shooed you away so you could fed ready while he organized any mess that was left over.
You eagerly went to look at yourself in the mirror, rummaging through his cabinet in search of a brush before taming the knots in your hair. You splashed a little bit of cold water in your face. You threw on your clothes from the previous night, and you wrapped the lab coat around you, folding down the collar. You seemed contempt with your appearance, leaving the bathroom to see Soshiro's back turned to you.
"Any plans for today?" You walked up behind him, your hands wrapping around his shoulders to see what he was looking it. It was the same papers that you organized yesterday, "Nothin' much, just taking the kiddos to train and increase their strength," he seemed to be looking at Kafka's profile, you patted his back to soothe him. "Well, just take it easy. And be safe," you weren't sure why you were compelled to say that, he was just training them, but you had some uneasy feeling either way.
Soshiro also caught onto that, the papers falling onto the table as he cupped their face and pressed his lips to yours. It caught you off guard initially, but you quickly got over the shock and you messily reciprocated the kiss. "A Warning would be nice," you murmured, but seemed to have flown past Soshiro as he littered your face with quick pecks, "I just can't help myself- is that so bad, sweetheart?" He was saying that in between his pecks until he leaned back.
"I'll be safe, that applies to ya too," his finger booping your nose before you swatted it away. "I will," you rolled your eyes, but he could tell you weren't being serious. "Alright, I'm gonna go now. I'll see you later, Soshiro," you seemed to have gotten shy, hopefully things would still be smooth later on. You waved to him before you opened the door and closed it behind you, of course you didn't miss the way he sent you that toothy smile.
It had you giddy for the rest of the day, it was mostly empty since the officers were out training in the field all day. You were working in your office all day, being in between writing reports and examining old bodies again to double check and confirm different results. You were back in the little morgue while sliding out a corpse to examine the wounds, everything seemed to check out so far.
You slid the body back into its spot before you sighed, you had bee at it for hours and dinner would be rolling around soon. You caught a glimpse of yourself in the reflection of the cold steel, of course you had some sweat stuck to your forehead and the hairnet made your hair look disheveled.
A shower before dinner seemed good, especially with Soshiro telling you about his day or showering you with compliments again. It didn't matter as long as he was with you-
Oh.
You had naturally walked to the door and tried to open it, but to no avail. You blinked and tried to slide the door open again, but it wouldn't budge.
Okay-
What the hell?
You placed both hands on the crevice and pulled, leaning your body back as far as you could but it wouldn't open. Now you were panicking, you were stuck in the morgue- just you! In the cold room with dim lights and dead corpses- how was that not scary??
You kept tugging, almost falling back multiple times before you gave up. You fumbled through your pockets to try and find your phone but the service was slow, plus your fingers were cold so you couldn't properly type anything fast enough.
Your breathing picked up- what could you do? You searched around for some kind of button for an emergency but none that you could find. You pressed your back against the door and slid down, your head in your hands as you thought about your next move, but the silence and the coldness made your eyes water.
You don't know how long you were there for, but it seemed like a few hours before you felt your body being pushed forward, a gust of warm air wafting past you as you turned your head back to see who it was...

Didn't know...
Trafalgar Law x fem!reader
A/n: so quick authors note, this is something out of my heart like-- it's most of my frustrations in one fic, so I hope it's not all over the place too much, also it's kind of angst to me.
My masterlist
Tumblr media
(Y/n) has been a part of the heart pirates for years now, she was a part of the "og crew" which consists of penguin, Shachi, and Bepo as the first crewmates.
She met them when they found out she'd been following them around but they didn't notice, law wanted her on the crew because one, she's sneaky, two, she'd be a great spy, and three, none of them know how to cook properly, so they kinda made her their cook.
Anyway, fast forward to today, she now works as the scribe for the crew.
If anything, everyone knows how hard and important being a scribe was. Other than the first mate, the scribe works closely with their captain to keep certain documents straight and papers stacked accordingly as well as it being kept neatly tidy.
But in all the years, even before the crew started, (y/n) always acted so professional, always speaks in a blank expression and straight but cold tone.
Law find it quite amusing how even he gets scolded by her in such a tone as well when he doesn't take care of himself.
She's also rather distant by nature, which the "og crew" got used to after a few months.
But in the most recent year, he finds himself slowly being captured by her alluring personality and physical properties.
Sure, she was cold, but damn is she so fucking beautiful. People would always ask her what skincare she does but all she uses is soap and water, but what's important is her maintaining a balanced food, perfect hours of sleep, and working out. As well as her invulnerability to stress. Which makes law so jealous, but maybe this was the reason for his sudden attraction? Perhaps?
But as Law was starting to realize his feelings and emotions towards her, (y/n) already knew her feelings toward him.
From the very VERY beginning, she liked him.
From the way he carries himself to the way he speaks, to the way he dresses. Everything about him was perfect to her.
But no man has no insecurities, she grew in a home where love was almost nonexistent and grades were everything, but being in a real world like this one, there is no such thing as grades. So she has no idea how to prove herself to him that she liked him.
Does she know how to communicate her feelings? No, she doesn't.
Does she feel comfortable with the growing attraction towards her own captain? Obviously not.
She buried that feeling long ago deep, deep in her heart but it always finds itself to resurface whenever anyone shows interest in Law, or vice versa. It just unceremoniously makes her compare herself to whoever it was.
It just makes her confession day push back further and further and further until it had been two years of planning to confess and being pushed by some "inconvenience" (y/n) claims to have happened.
So imagine her shock and confusion when he announced his plan for dressrosa.
She knew she might never return from it, she knew he might find someone that suits tmhim that isn't her... it hurts... but it's also important to move on.
And as they waited in Zou, the crew noticed how distant she's become, more than her usual, but they brushed it off as her adjusting to the new location as she always does and her being concerned of her captain since she was part of the "og crew" which means she knows him best and bonded with him far longer than anyone has.
But her heart just sank and broke when she read how he's now in kahoots with the strawhats, of course she knows it would be beneficial for him and they'd take good care of him, but she also knows a specific individual was there, one that would defeat her in every single rank, one that would probably click with him more. Nico Robin.
So the hope for any type of romance or relationship, other than really close friends, with Law was shut down right at that instant.
Bepo noticed her sad eyes when she read the news and asked her, of course she denied it with her saying "I'm just tired and drained at the moment, my apologies..." to him. The lie was absolutely buyable since she now also works in the infirmary to replace the missing captain and give the crew their daily check ups, on top of that, being the crew's scribe.
But when he returned, she was in so much relief to find out that no, he did not have any relationship to anyone in the crew, if anything, he was desperate to get out of there (his words).
But when they were around the strawhats, Law reacted so much more to Robin, making her wonder if he was interested in her.
The weight in her patched heart slowly grows heavier each day passes until Luffy decides to leave and save his cook.
Clutching the white envelope in hand, she raised her fist to knock only to hesitate a few times, resulting in her chickening out entirely.
As she walked to her work, she just stared at the white envelope. Weighing down the pros and cons. Mostly cons.
When the footsteps of another crew member was soon echoing right behind her, she shoves the envelope messily in her pocket, not caring if it got ruined. It was going to the trash anyway.
'so much for my hardwork... I literally worked on that for days!' She sighed inwardly before greeting the crewmember that just caught up to her.
"Captain said he's gonna help everyone be transported to wano." They said
She just hummed with a nod, as she usually does. 'wait... so does it mean that... even miss Robin would be here...? So much for my hope I guess...' she inwardly thought while listening intently to the details of the plan.
Later, she and Shachi were working on the engine when Law decided to check on their work performance, which was completely normal.
He glanced to (y/n) as she was tightening up some bolts while telling Shachi to work on the cooling system of the engine when he noticed a small part of an envelope was sticking out.
Knowing (y/n), she'd probably just hide it or deny it being there if he asked, so he did what he always does.
"Room... shambles." He lowly muttered and soon acquired a nearly crumpled up envelope in his hands, he of course hid it since she didn't seem to notice it being gone as it was just a piece of paper.
Law soon left and hurried back to his personal quarters, curious as to what the envelope must have inside.
A letter? Money, perhaps?
Once he got there, he closed the door behind him and locked it before sitting at the edge of the bed and pulling the envelope out, he observed the outside of it first, "for captain's eyes only, Huh?" He chuckled to himself.
He soon found himself removing the seal very carefully.
Once done, he pulled out the letter that was inside and began to read it.
"'dear captain'... how cliche, (y/n)-ya" he chuckled while rolling his eyes.
As he soon read throught the entirety of the letter, his small smirk slowly falls.
The letter basically contains her confessing her true feelings, her own insecurities about the matter, even her own insight and expectations, which was really so "shallow" (her words).
But to sum it up, it's just her confessing her true feelings, how she knew she wouldn't have a chance, and how... she just wanted to try.
At the end of the letter, it said: "I hope you take my offer into consideration. If not, please consider this letter void... I promise I wouldn't mind as I already understand every possible outcome of such a risky letter. I also hope this offer turns out in the best way it possibly can. Also, please do tell me what your feelings on this matter is, I really would appreciate if you'd be able to communicate all these to me directly. With best intentions, (y/n)."
"No wonder she tries her hardest to stay professional..." he muttered before looking at the date it was created ((y/n) is such a dumbass and placed a date), "she made this over... wait... months ago?? Why didn't she just give it to me directly...?"
He just hummed slightly, "chicken..." he muttered under his breath a little.
As the sun slowly sets in the horizon, Law called (y/n) to his quarters for their daily reports.
"At 7 am, Shachi accidentally broke a vase due to him still drowsy. I had patched his arm up, luckily it wasn't severely bleeding. Around 12 noon..." she said in her usual professional tone as she reads the incident reports for this day, also briefing him with this week's hectic schedule.
He listened attentively, but his mind was flying off to somewhere.
"And... that's about it on the incident reports, as for the grocery list..." she muttered as she flipped through her clipboard to find a specific section while she paused.
"I've heard enough." He mentions, making her look at him with a faint nod
"Yes sir." She stands straight and proper
"But can I ask some questions?" He hummed before leaning back in his chair, "why was Shachi-ya drowsy...? Didn't he sleep early last night?"
She nodded, "he did. But he ended up playing videogames the whole night."
He hummed before scoffing, "I knew letting him buy that game was a bad idea."
"On the bright side though..." (y/n) muttered, "at least he has more to talk about than... his perverted stuff..."
"True." He chuckled under his breath, he could see a faint smile playing on her lips before it returned to her neutral expression of professionalism.
He sighed deeply before pulling out the bottom drawer of his desk and pulled out the letter from before, "do you mind explaining this?" He asked as he showed her the letter, now wide open for the world to see, in front of him
She was unresponsive at first, staring at the crumpled piece of paper with words almost blankly before her face starts to heat up.
Keep in mind, her face was still on her usual neutral expression as she heats up. Her face redder than a tomato at how embarrassing it was.
She just turned around for a second and breathed deeply. Ins and outs. Before she had calmed down entirely and turned back around
"That letter wasn't supposed to reach anyone... how did you get it?" She asked in a slightly shaky voice.
"Oh, I was just curious. I saw it peaking out of your pocket earlier, so... yeah."
"I... I see... I should've disposed of it earlier" she muttered
"Care to explain this, by any chance?" He looked at her.
She remained unbothered but her form was visibly shaking from emotions.
She was thinking really deeply, whether to lie and get out of there as soon as possible OR just admit all of it and hope for the best.
While thinking though, she suddenly went through tides of her own emotions, it's like they want to burst.
In the end, (y/n) thought he was upset about the contents. She bowed as an apology, "my apologies... sir. I let my feelings get in the way of professionalism. This won't ever happen again, I'll see to it that if anything like this ever happens again I'll-"
"Hey!" He immediately got up from his chair, "that's not what I meant!"
He just sighed deeply before shaking his head, "this... I didn't mean it was... ugh..." he groaned, "lift your head. I need to speak to you properly."
She did as she was told.
Her body still trembling from the sudden surge of emotions but her expression remained constant and consistent.
"What I mean is that... are all the things in this letter true?" He asked as he placed the letter on the table, "if so... why didn't you tell me sooner? It looked like it was made almost... 4 months ago."
She swallowed thickly, her throat started to dry. But she remained calm and took a deep breath in, "I... simply was a coward. I intended to give this to you at valentine's day, which was roughly... 6 months ago, but I wish to make it perfect. Which took too long..." she kinda sighed at how stupid she sounds right now, "my apologies... had it been long before, you wouldn't have to stress about it right now. If you read through all of it, you can consider this letter void. And we can forget it ever existed."
He shook his head and slammed his hands on the desk making her jump slightly while looking down at the blasted piece of paper that started all of this, as if she wasn't the one who made it in the first place.
"I don't need your apology. Gosh... I never thought you'd be like Bepo" he grumbled, she just stayed quiet making him realize his mistake; "actually, no... I don't want to make this letter void."
She looked up at him with hope in her eyes before dying down and looking at the paper.
"You have... other ideas, I see..." she muttered lowly.
This was one of the worst case scenarios she had thought of, him possibly kicking her out, as falling in love with your boss was a big no-no in a working environment.
Funny enough, she actually had her bags ready just in case when she planned to give him the letter earlier that day.
"Yes. I do have my own ideas." He huffed.
She just then looked at the ground as her hands start to fiddle with each other almost nervously, 'this is it... I'm done...' she thought with a sigh.
She was thinking so deeply of her own self dug up demise she didn't even hear him walking around the desk to be Infront of her until she just saw his shoes directly facing her.
Her head lifted slightly but not entirely, to avoid looking at his eyes.
'He's probably mad just about now...' she thought inwardly.
She heard him sigh softly before placing a hand on her shoulder and the other lifting her head up to meet his soft eyes.
"I told you already, lift your head. I want to speak to you properly, not as captain and crew. But as two separate individuals. Nothing more" he muttered in a soft tone
She just sighed and nodded before composing herself properly, "well...? What's the final verdict?"
It was quiet for a while, more of Law searching her soul empty eyes in hopes for him finding at least one small hope from her.
"I want to give this a try." He says
It took some time to register, but once it did, she didn't notice her face was filled with shock and confusion, "c-come again?"
"I said, I want to give this... us, a try." He repeats
"O-oh... uhm... I see..."
She was too busy planning for her own funeral she forgot the other side of the pros and cons, the pros side.
(Y/n) kinda knew he would reject her so she didn't bother planning for when he DID accept.
I mean she did but it was just him saying he accepts but is actually a lie.
She looked so lost at the moment while thinking how this could've been so... favourable.
Law sensed it too, her confusion, frustration, even the look of her not planning ahead.
"Wait... did you actually think I would... reject your offer??" He asked, surprised himself.
"I-i mean... it would only be natural, right...?" She mumbled under her breath, "m-my apologies for the lack of response. It's just... I didn't expect it to go this way. truth be told, I already have my bags packed just in case you would want me to leave... so uhm... gosh this is so embarrassing..."
"What?! I would never want you to leave!" He said in a shocked tone it almost scared her half to death.
"A-ah... I should've... thought of that, m-my... my apologies"
"Stop apologising..." he just sighed heavily at this point. With a hand, he placed it on her cheek to make her look at him, "hey... please be honest, what would you think would happen if you hand me the letter?"
She just hummed a bit, "I... I thought you'd be mad because... I mean... I'm not on the... uhm... 'pretty' or 'cute' spectre. Hell, I wouldn't reach the beautiful spectre. And I'm not exactly... knowledgeable. So I thought... you wouldn't spare me a single glance. Miss Robin, however... you two fit so much. So when I heard you two bonded a lot while on the strawhats' ship, I... I let my emotions take over and basically back out of ever confessing."
"What on earth are you talking about? You're smart as hell. And I don't care if you're beautiful, pretty, or cute. What's important to me is that... you're kind and generous, even to your enemies that did so much harm than good to you. If anything, I'm upset you forgive people so easily." He explains before shaking his head, "and besides, you're the prettiest girl in my eyes. And nothing could ever change that"
"W-what...? You're not lying, are you?"
"Would I have a reason to lie?"
"N-no..."
"Then it's settled, we can try to make this work. But do know I'm not doing this because I feel pressured, in fact, I like you too... I just planned to confess after everything happened. After we defeat Kaido and bring back a small amount of needed peace." He nods, "can we go out sometime? Just the two of us?"
"A-ah...! S-sure...!" She jumped slightly, out of nervousness and shock.
"Still surprised and nervous? Don't be. I won't eat ya" he chuckled
It did NOT soothe her nerves. "Don't say that..."
"Then what?"
"Just... don't say anything about it."
"Why not?"
"I... don't know... I get so embarrassed at everything... and right now I feel so fucking ashamed." She huffed to herself angrily
"What do you mean...?" He asked, genuinely curious.
"I am so unplanned, I only planned for when you get upset. But not at the part where you did... I calculated every single outcome and at this point, you accepting is almost so... hmm... it doesn't feel right..."
"Why wouldn't it? You made the letter 4 months ago" he chuckled
"And right now, I want to burn it, destroy it, rip it to pieces until unrecognisable. I kinda wished you didn't see it first. Then I would've destroyed it out of existence."
He hummed, "and... you did that in past?"
"Multiple is way too much for you"
"What do you mean?" He asks slightly
"I've made at least 10 letters, but none of them ever saw the sun rise as I burned them every time we go out camping... I just... thought you'd reject me, that's all..." she explained briefly, "but now I know it was such a stupid decision... I shouldn't have chickened out all those years ago..."
"Hey... it's alright, what's important is that you're here. With me. Right now..." he smiles softly
"I just... didn't know you like me too..." she muttered mostly to herself, "b-but... I'm glad you do...!"
Law could feel himself smile softly, her exterior seemed to ship off slowly at this encounter.
He had never seen (y/n) so embarrassed, shocked, and confused all at the same time like now... it makes him feel so special right now that... she's slowly letting her in, like he did to her all those years ago.

Dungeon Meshi Liveblog: Kabru & Mithrun's Life-Changing Road Trip
Tumblr media Tumblr media
.
Tumblr media
safhkjkhf no but also fake!Kabru is entirely flat because Mithrun doesn't have depth perception...
.
Tumblr media
Between this and the information that the team has a 1:2 ratio of guards to criminals, with the guards often appointed by their families as a melodramatic show of loyalty to the realm - which is...possibly literally true, considering the prestige of badassery; but, considering the criminals and the danger, also very possibly a polite euphemism for what amounts to a public sacrifice... I kind of ferally want to know about the dynamics of the Canaries. Are they loyal to each other, or to the cause? Are they all just under the threat of execution? Kabru expected the captain of the squad to be an aristocratic guard, them being more trustworthy than a semi-pardoned criminal ofc, but instead he's...whatever exactly Mithrun's legal status is; I've avoided some details of his backstory.
...I might have to go back and try to actually mentally distinguish these people from each other.
.
Tumblr media
Laios Heaven is actually Kabru Hell, and vice versa. It's a very efficient system!
.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
*giggles* Kabru is having a weird, upside-down day.
.
Tumblr media
"Don't wish often" is such a threatening thing to say, honestly. Don't want. Don't try. Don't be alive, or this place will try to kill you and eat you, for it, too, wishes to live, and that is how the continuation of life works.
It's so so interesting how elves clearly have ANSWERS, answers that our party have been searching for, which would've made their whole adventure easier, and the elves just aren't telling people. To maintain their own power over other races? Probably. Because knowing about demons who'll offer you unlimited power would be a dangerous temptation to many? In fairness, probably that, too. But it sure as hell serves them first.
.
Tumblr media
Oh yeah, this definitely reads as aristocratic youths joining the Canaries isn't per se voluntary on their families' parts. It's the elvish Suicide Squad.
.
The timeline isn't making sense. When Mithrun banished the giant mushroom, it was clearly implied that it went to where and when Team Touden were when we'd last seen them, just after their first incident with the changeling mushrooms and then the dwarvish cable car. However, now the pop-up side panels are saying that Kabru and Mithrun's week in the dungeon together is happening at the same time as Team Touden goes through their shapeshifter adventure, barometz, Golden Country, griffins... Which makes sense if one assumes the Canaries & co went into the dungeon right after Kabru first spoke to them, which does seem right in terms of those characters' plotline and personal timetables. But there was no indication, when it cut over to them, that we'd suddenly gone backwards a week in the comic's timeline; indeed, the giant walking changeling mushroom incident suggested it was a single continuity...
Is this just a continuity error? Did I miss some clarifying signifier?
.
Kabru: [tells Mithrun his own backstory back at him]
Mithrun: You left out the soap operatic relationships rooted in royal intrigue, which in turn was rooted in millennia of other royal intrigue.
Kabru: Yes, but I need it to be understandable to a man who's mostly just going to ask me how the goat-demon tast– I mean, uh... Your story structure was bad, so I simplified it.
.
Tumblr media
Oh shit, that's the thing Marcille is studying! She doesn't know it summons demons!
...My instinct is, "if only someone told her instead of completely outlawing the knowledge, forcing her to stumble blindly into the consequences on her own!" But, uh... I'm not sure this would actually stop her. She's very determined, and also has her share of wizard hubris. This is, of course, a driving question of the story.
.
Tumblr media
It wasn't easier to kill them? It wasn't easier to simply stop drawing magic from the infinite-power dimension?
...ok obviously not the latter, because, y'know. Fossil fuels. But seriously it wasn't easier to just kill them?
.
It's sooo intersting how everyone else views Laios's love of monsters as a dangerous moral failing, when it's really just...ecologist enthusiasm. The man thinks this class of being is Neat. He is harming literally 0 people about this. He isn't even forcing anyone to eat them, just inviting them really enthusiastically and/or pointing out that this is necessary in order to achieve their shared goal of saving Falin.
Yes, obviously this could be subverted into something terrible by an encouraging demon. Just like, obviously, a desire to protect and preserve people can be! Or a desire to live happily with your loved ones! Laios isn't worse than any other Lord of a Dungeon; y'all just hate monsters!
.
Tumblr media
Kabru that is SO gay, jfc. I object on principle to the phrase "no heterosexual explanation", but--
.
Tumblr media
M! V! P! M! V! P!
.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Friendship? Teamwork? Mutual respect and shared understanding of goals? Mithrun is a very useful ally because he really does Only want to stop the demon; he doesn't care about the geopolitics of it. Though his perspective is still very elvish and he definitely will kill our beloved protagonists without hesitation if they seem like they're going to be a problem.
.
I would read an entire novel about the formation of the halffoot union, honest to god. I bet it was very exciting. I bet someone tried to kill Chilchuck at least once.

As the First Division’s Vice-Captain leads you throughout Ariake Maritime Base on a tour of the facilities, you find your interest hanging on by a thread.
All Defense Force bases are essentially the same — you have your training grounds and rooms, administration offices, barracks, an Operation Room, and mission preparation spaces. So, you’re torn between yawning loudly and pulling out your phone to see if there’s anything else more worthy of your time, which there surely is.
The only thing stopping you is that this is your first time meeting Vice-Captain Hasegawa and you have just enough awareness to recognize that doing either would probably lead to a poor reaction from the man. There will be plenty of opportunities to test his patience in the weeks, months, and — hopefully — years to come.
With great effort, you stifle both urges and continue pretending to look like everything Hasegawa is telling you is not going in one ear and out the other. You wish he would just drop you off in the Operation Room so that you could figure out which station and console you wanted to take over.
Your mind has begun to wander so much that you almost run into him when he comes to a sudden stop in the middle of the hallway. Although considering he’s still talking and is pointedly facing a pair of double doors, the stop might not have seemed as sudden if you had been paying attention.
“—wanted to warn you,” he sighs and you realize that you’ve missed everything he’s said before.
But you quickly catch sight of the plaque next to the door that reads, “Narumi Gen, First Division Captain,” and are easily able to piece together what it was that Hasegawa was warning you about.
“Ah, don’t worry, Hasegawa. I knew what I was getting into!” you grin up at him, completely missing the way his eyebrow raises at how casually you’ve addressed him without his proper title. “Captain Ogata made sure of that when he was trying to convince me to take the Head of Operations opening at the Third Division instead.”
Your assurances don’t seem to provide him with any sort of comfort. If anything, his severe expression only deepens.
“Yes, well. We’re a little ahead of schedule for your introductory meeting with Captain Narumi but he should be in,” he says, deciding to move past the unsurprising revelation that the Fourth Division Captain had tried to steer you clear of the chaos at the top of the First.
He sharply raps his knuckles on one of the grand, wooden doors to announce your presence and opens them both without waiting for a reply. When you see what lies inside of the office, you understand why.
Your gaze isn’t sure what it should settle on. The piles of dirty clothes? The overflowing garbage cans? The discarded and empty water bottles, cans of coffee, and energy drinks? The precariously stacked Yamazon boxes lining the walls? The reverently displayed and definitely overpriced action figures?
But your eyes are quickly drawn to the lump inside of the futon laid out in the middle of the office and right in front of the large TV, where a first-person shooter game is playing out on the screen. If you listen carefully, you can just make out the muttering coming from the lump in between the sounds of the game’s gunfire.
You tilt your head to the side as you take in the sight. Even if Ogata hadn’t pulled you aside at every opportunity to caution you away from the First Division, Narumi Gen’s reputation was practically legendary among the ranks of the Defense Force — and only partially for his skill in combating kaiju.
It wasn’t a lie when you told Hasegawa that you knew what you were getting into when you accepted the position as the First Division’s new Head of Operations. However, the chaotic state of Narumi’s office still manages to take you slightly by surprise.
Somehow, you remain unaware of the way the corners of your lips are slightly tugging upwards in a hint of a smile.
You’re pulled from your musings by the waves of anger that you feel radiating off of Hasegawa, who you had genuinely forgotten was standing next to you. His arms are crossed over his chest and this close to him, you can see the vein on his forehead pulsing.
“I apologize for your first impression of Captain Narumi,” he grumbles and you can easily tell that this is a common occurrence for the man. “If you’ll give me a minute, I’ll take care of this.”
But before he can march toward the lump, you cut him off.
“No need! I can handle this,” you tell him genially as you curiously open the Yamazon box on top of the mountain nearest you. You’re unimpressed by the six-pack of energy drinks inside. You note that it’s the same brand as the empty cans strewn across the office floor as you carelessly push the box off the stack, where it falls to the floor with a dull thud.
You open the next box and pull out a boxed set of some movie series that you’ve never heard of and which has an obnoxious yellow sticker on the front that says, “LIMITED EDITION!” You pout with disinterest and toss it over your shoulder.
“Are you sure?” Hasegawa asks just as you get ready to move on to the next Yamazon box and you abandon your search through Narumi’s things.
“Has anyone ever told you that you worry too much?” you reply, your nose wrinkled slightly in distaste.
Your admonishment and clear lack of boundaries has a sense of dread creeping up on Hasegawa — one that usually only accompanies a kaiju attack. He’s quick to tamp down any fears that his already-frequent headaches are about to increase, not wanting to tempt whatever higher power might be out there by putting those thoughts into the universe.
The only outward sign of his apprehension is his deepening frown. He responds with a wordless hum.
Turning away from the Yamazon boxes, you look back to the lump to find that it hasn’t moved once despite the noise and your and Hasegawa’s presence. Glancing at the TV screen, you see that the game is still in progress.
There’s an obvious solution to this problem.
The lump is so focused on clearing its virtual mission that it’s easy for you to walk toward the TV, reach behind it, and yank the BS4 plug from the overfilled power strip. The sudden silence from the TV as the console unexpectedly shuts off is met with a screech from the lump, which finally moves to reveal Narumi Gen — captain of the famed First Division and Japan's (supposedly) Strongest Anti-Kaiju Combatant.
“What do you think you’re doing?!” he screams, tossing off the duvet and stumbling to his bare feet. “I was just about to clear the campaign! You just made me lose all of my progress! Who do you think you are?!”
With every shout, he moves closer, his finger pointed at you furiously and his bloodshot eyes practically bulging from his head.
You answer him by grabbing his BS4 from the floor, lifting it over your head, and slamming it back down where it shatters apart. His shriek this time is so loud and shrill that you truly worry for a moment that your ears may begin to bleed.
“No, no, no, no, no,” he repeats frantically as he collapses to his knees and tries to carefully pick up the hardware now scattered on the floor of his office, his fingers trembling from the trauma of seeing his most precious possession in pieces.
But he’s too slow for you. You step past him and kneel down beside the BS4’s exposed motherboard. And then, in one smooth motion, you pull a pair of needle-nosed pliers out of the pocket of your lab coat and drive the jaws straight down where it pierces the fragile, green fiberglass.
You can only describe Narumi’s resulting wail as a widow’s wail for how devastated it sounds.
When you stand up and look back down at him, you see the shell of a broken man. He’s hunched over on his knees near your feet. The shattered pieces of his BS4 are loosely clutched in his hands. And if you look closely, you can make out the slight shaking of his shoulders.
“Who are you?” he rasps, his gaze glued to the remains of his beloved console. “How can you be so cruel?”
“I’m the First Division’s new Head of Operations, bitch,” you smirk down at him, your arms crossed over your chest in satisfaction. The revelation seems to catch his attention because his head shoots up to look at you in shock before anger begins to creep in.
“You? You’re the new Head of Operations?” he seethes, abandoning his BS4’s carcass to slowly stand. His fists are clenched at his sides and the tick in his jaw is visibly noticeable.
However, you’re already moving on. You close the distance between you so quickly that Narumi’s fury is momentarily forgotten as he instinctively takes a step back only for you to take one forward.
His stupor grows worse when your hands come up to cup his jaw. Suddenly, all he can focus on is how warm your touch is and how surprisingly pretty you are, your soft features hiding the heartlessness that lurks underneath.
The reminder shatters his daze and he stumbles backward and away from your caress. He tries to put as much distance between himself and you as he can, only to trip on his futon and wind up sprawled on his back on top of the haphazardly strewn duvet.
Not wasting an opportunity to get close to him again and without a second’s hesitation, you follow him and plop yourself down to straddle his torso. A flush breaks out across his cheeks and quickly spreads to the tips of his ears that are peeking out through his messy hair.
The pink grows a deeper red when you sit up, slightly lifting yourself off of him so that you can further lean over him until only a few inches are separating your face from his. The back of his head is already pressed to the futon, leaving him nowhere to go.
His face feels hot under your fingers as you grip his chin firmly enough that he can’t shake you off this time. Although that seems like something you don’t need to worry about as he appears frozen beneath you. You’re vaguely aware of how his own hands slowly and cautiously drop to rest on the tops of your thighs.
Yet, where Narumi is clearly flustered by the compromising position that you’ve forced him into, the ability to grasp the grossly inappropriate and unprofessional nature of your interaction is beyond you. There’s a purpose to all of this, which makes it incredibly easy for you to ignore the feeling of his fingers nervously twitching through the fabric of your pants.
With one hand holding his chin, the other comes up to rest the back of your fingers on his cheek and you can feel how doing so makes him somehow even more tense. The wildness in your eyes has something stirring deep inside of him, which is only made worse by how he’s already missing your weight on his stomach.
He suddenly finds himself fighting the overwhelming urge to slide his hands up to your waist and pull you back down to sit on him. It wouldn’t be that hard. You would probably make a small cry of surprise if he did. He can practically hear it ringing in his ears and it goes straight to his cock, which is quickly growing half-hard.
And then it wouldn’t take much more to move you a little further down until you’re placed right on top of the bulge in his sweatpants. He would use his hold on you to grind your ass down while he bucks his hips up.
His fantasizing takes a different turn when you slowly begin to lean even closer to his face and his wide eyes drop down to your lips. They look so soft and plush. Your tongue peeks out for just a second before disappearing back into your mouth and he wants nothing more than to chase it with his own.
What would your tongue feel like sliding against his? What would it feel like on his fingers? On his cock?
Your teeth lightly sink into your bottom lip and he’s genuinely surprised that he doesn’t cum on the spot.
It’s only your grip on his chin that keeps him from lifting his head to close the gap altogether. Thankfully, you seem to be doing so on your own and his eyes flutter shut, his lips parting slightly in anticipation.
But then his left eye is opening back up against his will as your thumb pulls on the skin just under his eyelid while your index finger lifts the area just below his brow. His right eye opens in confusion, trying to understand what’s going on.
He takes in how your gaze is fixed on his left eye, your head tilting back and forth from side to side curiously, and it slowly sinks in that the slightly manic look that you’re wearing has nothing to do with the kiss he was expecting. All of your interest in him seems to be exclusively tied to his scarlet-colored eyes — the eyes crafted from the retina of Kaiju No. 1.
It feels like someone has doused him in cold water at the realization.
He can feel his dick softening from the disappointment — but only partially. After all, you’re still straddling him and leaning in close enough that he can feel every one of your exhales on his face.
“So, these are the Future Sight eyes…” you murmur to yourself, switching your attention over to his right eye and giving it the same inspection that the left received. You hum thoughtfully and Narumi scrambles to find something to say, trying to think of anything that has even the slightest chance of impressing you.
Before he can start to brag about the kaiju with a 7.4 fortitude level that he neutralized with one shot last week, you’re removing your hands from his face entirely and sighing heavily, a pout forming on the lips that he had just been daydreaming about. You lean back and sit up, dropping your weight fully onto his stomach once again.
You absently rest your palms on his chest and he’s struck by the vivid mental image of you doing the exact same thing if you were to ride him.
The fantasy comes closer to being real when your hands push down for leverage to readjust how you’re seated. Your attempt to find a more comfortable position has you sliding just a little further down his body. His breath catches in his throat when your knees end up on either side of his waist and your ass meets his lap — and the tent in his pants.
His fingers instinctively grip your thighs tightly as he bites back the deep groan that’s desperately trying to escape his chest.
He knows you can feel how hard he is. It’s not like it’s something easy to ignore when you’re sitting right on top of it. Yet the only reaction you have is a slight twitch at the corner of your lips that’s so faint anyone else except for him, the captain of the Defense Force’s strongest division, would have missed it.
And he also notices that it twitched upward.
For a brief second, he contemplates using his eyes on you. Activating them would allow him to visualize your brain’s signals, indicating your movements before you made them. Maybe then he would have a better idea of what you’re planning to do. It’s probably against some stupid regulation to use the weapons designed to combat kaiju on another member of the Defense Force, but you’re a much more formidable foe.
However, he then feels you shifting slightly as you get ready to move so that his hard cock is no longer poking your ass and he panics.
His hands dart up to grab your hips and keep you right where you are. Although you don’t cry out in the way that his ears are yearning to hear, your eyes widen just a fraction, betraying your surprise at his action.
Knowing that his grip is firm enough to keep you from shaking it off, you instead look curiously over your shoulder and down, your back arching as you check if you can see the hardness directly underneath you. It’s the first clear acknowledgment you make of his arousal.
Anyone else, everyone else, would be frantically trying to explain away the situation — as if there’s a way to explain away an erection that your coworker is sitting on. But Narumi isn’t anyone else and he finds his mind wandering yet again.
All he can focus on is how your arched back pushes your chest forward. Despite the shapeless lab coat that you’re wearing and how it covers the majority of your body, he can still make out the curves of your tits and how they’re perfectly framed by your upper arms on either side.
What would you look like in just your lab coat?
His thumbs twitch where they’re firmly pressed to your hips with the urge to slip them under the hem of your shirt and feel the warmth of your bare skin directly. If he did, he could easily slide them, and your shirt, up. Once he had it high enough, he could then curl one finger into the front of your bra and pull it down until your tits were spilling from its cups.
And then all he would have to do is lean up and he could capture a nipple between his wet lips. He could then wind his arms around you beneath your lab coat to splay one hand across the arch in your back, pressing you further into his mouth. By this point, your hands would have moved from his chest to his shoulders where they would be fisting the fabric of his shirt.
He can hear your phantom cries of pleasure in his ears again as his dick starts to ache.
The bubble bursts when you face forward, your back now hunched over rather than arched. You look deeply unimpressed. Narumi is suddenly and viscerally aware of the thin stream of drool that’s slowly trailing from the corner of his lip and down his jaw where it then meets his neck.
You notice it as well and lift a hand up to casually wipe his spit away with the pad of your thumb. His mouth opens on its own, instinctively wanting you to slip the spit-slicked digit inside.
Somehow, the action has you looking even further unimpressed. Rather than sticking it past his parted lips, you wipe your finger clean on the front of his shirt.
When you meet his gaze, the disinterest that he can see in your eyes and in your expression is crippling. Every fantasy that has been playing out in his head over the past few minutes shatters and comes crashing down around him.
“Hm, I didn’t think the wielder of the oldest numbered weapon would be so boring,” you finally say with a frown.
His open mouth closes before opening again, only to close and then repeat the cycle as he finds himself unable to respond. His reaction doesn’t help his case.
“...b-boring…?” he repeats, seemingly incapable of understanding the meaning of the word.
You slap away his hands from your hips and he’s so dazed that he lets you. The insult slowly starts to sink in and his growing indignation soon eclipses every last ounce of arousal.
“Boring?” he angrily cries out and you simply roll your eyes as you stand up. This time when you move off of him, he’s too outraged to miss your weight and warmth.
“Yes. You bore me,” you tell him pointedly, your hands on your hips as you look down at him where he lays on his back between your feet. He gets the sense that this is exactly how you would be looking at a worm that you saw on the sidewalk before trampling it.
“W-well, if I’m so boring why’d you end up with the First anyway?” he retorts with a glare as he finally sits up. “You’re here because you wanted to be in the presence of Japan’s strongest!”
Your features wrinkle in distaste at the sentiment.
“You wish,” you scoff as you step off of his futon and take a moment to examine your nails. “The First Division’s base is on the bay and the Third’s by a river. The ocean is way nicer. Simple as that.”
He can only gape up at you, speechless once more.
You made the biggest decision of your career based on the base’s proximity to the ocean rather than the strength and prestige of the division. A life-changing decision, and you made it on something as superficial as preferring the ocean to a river.
There was no rational thinking involved. There were no thoughtful considerations made. Other than consulting Google Maps, there was no careful research done.
A decision that you would have to live with for years and you made it based on something as trivial as a body of water.
Simple as that.
Narumi’s heart starts to race and his face grows warm. His palms suddenly feel sweaty and he’s hyper-aware of an unfamiliar fluttering in his stomach. A wide grin slowly stretches across his face.
Before you can walk away, he grabs your ankle.
“Wait! What’s your name?” he asks eagerly. You just smirk down at him and shake off his hand with a kick of your leg before walking away and out of his office without a second glance back at him.
As he watches you leave, he wonders if the irises of his eyes — which usually morph into crosses when being used as the weapon they are — have now taken the shape of hearts.
He’s ready to collapse back into his futon with an infatuated sigh. He still has the tent in his sweatpants to deal with after all and if anything, it’s only gotten harder.
But before he can, he catches sight of Hasegawa, who’s standing stoically by the doors of his office. He wonders if the man has been there the whole time and if so, why he didn’t put a stop to the chaos that just played out before him as he’s normally quick to do.
He vaguely notes that his Vice-Captain looks like he does whenever they’re en route to a kaiju attack and he’s reviewing the information available to assess the threat as best he can before engaging. Determination then crosses his severe features, as if he’s steeling himself for some upcoming battle.
The man appears about to take his leave, but Narumi recognizes that he can’t let his only other source on your identity just walk away.
“Hasegawa! Hey, Hasegawa!” Narumi cries out as he sits up on his knees.
“Yes?” he replies stiffly, steeling himself for whatever is coming.
“Is she single?” He hungrily points in the direction you just went, like there’s any doubt about who the “she” in question is.
Hasegawa’s entire demeanor abruptly turns icy. His arms slowly cross over his chest — usually a sign that a physical assault is imminent.
“I’ll remind you, Captain, that the Defense Force highly discourages fraternization between enlisted personnel,” he says. Despite the lack of violence that accompanies the warning, it’s the most threatening that Hasegawa has ever sounded when reprimanding Narumi.
But all Narumi can think about is how hard he still is and the memory of both your disinterest and your body on top of his as you straddled him.
“Discourages is not forbids,” he smirks with all of the smugness of someone who believes that he’s found the greatest loophole in the history of mankind.
Hasegawa’s scarred features contort into a grimace at Narumi’s easy disregard for the admonishment that he just received. Deciding that the best course of action would be to conserve his energy for the fight that he can see on the horizon, he drops his arms to his sides and walks away from his captain.
“Wait! Tell me her name!” Narumi shouts as he desperately begins to crawl after him.
Hasegawa suppresses the urge to slap a palm to his forehead in exasperation. He looks over his shoulder at the pathetic sight of the man known across the country as Japan’s strongest on his hands and knees, begging for just a crumb of information.
“If you regularly checked your email as is your responsibility as First Division Captain, you wouldn’t need to ask,” he scolds him and with Narumi sufficiently distracted, Hasegawa is finally able to escape, closing the doors to the office with a loud slam!
Meanwhile, Narumi scrambles back to his futon to dig through it for his phone. When he finally finds it, it slips out of his grasp due to how sweaty his palms are. It takes a few tries but with fingers that are trembling with excitement, he’s able to unlock his phone and pull up his email.
He frowns in annoyance at the sheer volume of unread messages. As he starts to scroll through them, his eyes hurriedly skimming through the subject lines of each one, he soon realizes that this is like looking for a needle in a haystack.
Doing a quick search for “Head of Operations” pulls up an unopened thread titled, “[URGENT] Start Date: Head of Operations, First Division.” He finds what he’s looking for when he opens it and sees that the latest email is from you, your name appearing in the “from” line.
He slowly says your name aloud, testing it out. He likes the way it tastes on his tongue.
He wonders if your pussy will taste even better when he gets you to sit on his face.
As he skims the email thread for any further information he can glean, he notices that your responses to the information on your promotion and new assignment are largely in emojis. You seem to have a particular fondness for the red 100 emoji.
With a contented sigh, he collapses back into his futon. His phone is clutched tightly to his chest and an adoring smile is painted across his lips.
Rolling over onto his stomach, he rests his chin on a curled fist and returns to his email. Now that he has your name, he happily kicks his feet back and forth in the air and does another search through his inbox for it. He strikes gold when he finds your personnel file attached to a months-old, unopened email.
But he doesn’t get far in reading through it because at the top of the file, just beneath your name, is your phone number. As soon as he sees it, he saves it in his contacts under: 🍑🙇‍♂️💕🍆💦.
His fingers fly across the screen as he then drafts a new message to you and quickly hits send.
From: Narumi Gen Hey! Go out with me 🙏
He watches the message thread with unblinking eyes, eagerly waiting for the three little dots that indicate that you’re typing to appear at the bottom. When they finally do, the anticipation of what you’ll say is enough to have him salivating all over again.
From: 🍑🙇‍♂️💕🍆💦 ????
From: 🍑🙇‍♂️💕🍆💦 Who dis
He frowns slightly. He’s your new captain. Shouldn’t you already have his number saved in your phone? Rather than letting it ruin his giddiness, he seizes the opportunity that he missed earlier to brag.
From: Narumi Gen JAPAN’S STRONGEST 💪
He smugly waits for your reply. It takes longer this time for the three dots to appear and he’s positive that it’s because you’re too in awe to respond right away.
From: 🍑🙇‍♂️💕🍆💦 Oh.
From: 🍑🙇‍♂️💕🍆💦 😒
From: 🍑🙇‍♂️💕🍆💦 Captain boring 🥱
Each reply is like an arrow to his heart. The yawning emoji in particular feels like you’ve taken a knife to his gut with a pretty smile on your lips. Desperation quickly takes hold.
From: Narumi Gen Plz go out with me
From: Narumi Gen Pretty plz? 🙏

His responses are sent in a flurry one right after another. If he had the ability to feel shame, he would be embarrassed by how increasingly pathetic he sounds with each sent message.

From: 🍑🙇‍♂️💕🍆💦 Enjoy taking care of your little problem on your own 🍆✊💦
From: 🍑🙇‍♂️💕🍆💦 Let me know how it goes 😏
He suddenly feels like you’ve breathed new life into him. Does this mean that you’re imagining him jerking off?
The thought of you thinking of him with his hand pumping his cock has his head spinning. He rolls over onto his back and drops the hand holding his phone by his side as he stares up at the ceiling of his office in a daze.
Acting almost on its own, his free hand slides down his stomach to slip under the waist of his sweatpants and then the band of his boxer briefs. He can’t help the hiss that escapes him when he wraps his hand around his cock. It’s easy to pretend that it’s your hand that’s pulling it out of his pants instead of his.
Would you tell him how boring he is even as your hand slowly begins to move up and down his length? Would you be acting like this is a waste of your time? Maybe you’d be jerking him off with one hand and scrolling through your phone with the other.
His eyes close to aid the fantasy.
He can hear your voice in his ears, every word dripping with indifference as you tell him to hurry up and cum already so that you can go do something that actually interests you. You would barely even look at him, only glancing at him every so often to check how close he is to finishing.
When he spits into his hand to help the glide of his palm, he imagines that it’s your hand and remembers how you didn’t shy away from his saliva when you wiped it off of his chin earlier. His fist speeds up its pace as he imagines what it would have looked like if you had popped your thumb into his mouth for him to suck it clean rather than wiping it off on his shirt.
Or better yet, if you slipped it into your mouth, only removing it once your thumb was free of his spit.
What would it look like if you spit directly into his mouth? He’s positive that you would purse your lips right over his open and waiting mouth and let your spit delicately drip straight down into it. You wouldn’t let him swallow until you told him that he was allowed to. And then you would reward him with a condescending pat on his cheek and a chaste kiss to his shining lips.
And what if he spits into your mouth? He would have you on your knees for him, lips parted wide open, and tongue stuck out as you waited patiently to taste his cock. He would grab your chin with fingers as firm as yours were on his earlier and just when you began to rub your thighs together, he would spit into your open mouth before making you swallow.
Would you whine if he told you that you’re a good girl?
He definitely would if you called him a good boy.
He would whine right into your pussy if you were to tell him how good he was being with his face buried between your thighs, your legs tossed over his shoulders. The words would be broken up between breathless moans as he lapped at your clit, your fingers pulling on his hair to tug his face closer. And he would then start pumping two of his fingers in and out of your pussy, curling them just right, all so that he could hear you say the words again.
After seeing how little he impresses you, he would give anything for even a scrap of your praise. But he also wants to make you just as desperate for his.
He wants you sprawled across the top of his messy desk.
He wants you to make it even messier when you cum on his cock as he pounds into you, his balls hitting your ass with each thrust and your ankles dangling by his ears. He’d have your arousal dripping from your pussy and down the crack of your ass to pool on the wooden surface of his fancy desk.
He’d then slide two of his fingers through the mess before shoving them into your mouth, wordlessly demanding you suck them clean.
And you would, wouldn’t you?
Because for all of your standoffishness and your seemingly aloof nature, when it comes down to it, you would want to be good for him.
You would keep his fingers in your mouth until you were gagging on them when he shoved them in deep enough to reach the back of your throat. And even then, you would keep your lips closed around them until he decides to remove them.
And when he pumps you full of his cum, you would thank him with hazy eyes and an adoring smile. It would mirror the one on his lips when he drops to his knees and pushes open your thighs to watch his cum slowly drip in thick, white gobs out of your sopping pussy to join the growing pool underneath your ass.
Each mental image that rapidly plays out on the backs of his eyelids pushes him closer and closer to cumming. He can feel the orgasm building in his spine and in his balls, only for his eyes to spring wide open when he remembers your request to keep him updated.
His phone is still in his sweaty hand, his fingers clutched around it so tightly that if he wasn’t so used to holding his BS4 controller for long periods of time, then they would be aching. He absently sends a silent thank you to whoever invented Face ID because it means he doesn’t have to fumble with a passcode to unlock his phone and pull up the camera.
As much as it pains him to do so, he pulls his free hand from his weeping cock to yank his shirt up his torso and shove the hem between his teeth. He moans around the fabric when his hand returns back to his cock, giving it a squeeze as he looks down at it through the screen of his phone, trying to angle the camera just right.
His hand is itching to pick back up its frantic pace up and down his shaft. But he keeps it still just long enough to take a perfectly-framed picture of his hand wrapped around the base of his dick and pre-cum leaking over his fingers.
He hurriedly hits send and drops his hand holding his phone back to his side.
However, his hand has only just started moving again when his phone vibrates in the death grip that he has on it. A pathetic, little whine emerges from the back of his throat when he lifts it up and looks at the screen to find that you’ve already replied.
His toes curl and his hips buck up off the futon as he eagerly opens your message.
From: 🍑🙇‍♂️💕🍆💦 LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOO
That’s all it takes for him to cum with a groan of your name that’s muffled by the shirt hem still shoved in his mouth. His eyes are squeezed tightly shut as his hips give a few jerks, imagining that he’s spilling his cum onto your face instead of into his still-moving hand.
When he’s finally capable of opening his eyes, he opens the camera on his phone again. With fingers that are tingling from his orgasm, he takes a second picture — this time of his cum-coated fingers and the streaks of white painted across his stomach.
After hitting send, he continues to look at the screen and preens when the three dots almost immediately appear at the bottom.
From: 🍑🙇‍♂️💕🍆💦 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
A wistful sigh leaves him as spits his shirt out of his mouth and clutches his phone close to his chest, which is still rising and falling rapidly as he pants for air.
“So, this is what love is like,” he muses aloud, a dreamy smile stretched across his lips and absolutely certain that his racing heart has nothing to do with jerking off or the sticky mess coating his hand and stomach.

Okay I haven't watched the MCU in a while and honestly at this point all I care about is Bucky, Wanda, Loki and maybe Shangchi but I watched a summary of the baby Starlord episode and the Captain Carter episode of the new What-if (not really interested in watching the whole thing but Bucky's in it so yeah) and as a Cap girl who loves CATWS so much that it's one of my all-time favourite movie, what Marvel's doing to the whole Steve-Bucky-Peggy (that I've been having issues with since Endgame) is driving me insanely frustrated.
I fucking HATE it when people more or less lessen or ruin what was originally so well-written and performed in the original that serves to drive the character that led to them being so well loved
Like, stucky doesn't need to be queer romantic to be significant. (And I'm saying this as a Stucky shipper whose whole exposure to AO3 and Tumblr started with Stucky) It is a significant, important and heavy relationship REGARDLESS if it's platonic or romantic. Erasing that and forcefully making it Steggy doesn't work, drives the og audience away from Steggy and frankly, it's kind of homophobic
Also it's incredibly unfair that Steve's significance to Bucky remains while vice versa isn't, even though THAT'S ONE OF THE TWO DRIVING MOTIVATIONS OF ALL OF STEVE'S ACTIONS IN CACW. Are you really trying to convince me that a bond so deep that they've been inseparable all their lives since they were kids and well into their adulthood, is less significant, or is effective as a memory trigger (and I fucking studied the basic of memory recall) than the significant shorter Steggy romance? What the fuck????
I almost want to write a whole essay on the Steve-Bucky-Peggy relationship, but I currently have enough writing tasks (fics, emails, letters, essays) on my plate. I'll see if I wanna come back to it later.

Shadow Magic vs Dark Magic
I find it fascinating that Black Clover makes a difference in its magic system between shadows and darkness.
Most darkness we see comes from shadows, that's how places get lightless most often—but they are just one way. For example, nighttime brings darkness too, but is different as it's the dark outer space. Darkness is the absence of light. Shadows are one way that light can go absent.
So, unlike other fantasy media I've seen (for me, notably Shadow and Bone), Black Clover acknowledges that there is a difference. Shadow and Dark are two different magic attributes.
And that's interesting because the one Shadow Magic user we meet—Nacht—is the vice captain and ex-best friend of a Dark Magic user, Yami. Using magic to highlight character foils is nothing new, as a fantasy reader it’s everywhere.
However, unless I live under a rock, I haven’t seen two prominent foils to each other ever be shadow and darkness before! They’re always conflated and pitted against light.
This time though, we have a pair, Yami and Nacht, who started out the same—two best friends against the world with their similar magic attributes.
Then Yami joined the Magic Knights and befriended the Light Magic user Morgen. The two became a duo of light and darkness, as we normally see in media. Adhering to media’s norms makes sense for the lawful Morgen and the expectations of the Magic Knights.
Meanwhile the rebellious Nacht distanced himself from them both. This is worsened after Morgen’s death and Nacht’s switch to rationality. Still, in the end, shadow and darkness are two different things—and so are Nacht and Yami.
At last, the two mend their relationship and we go back to the beginning.
Here, it’s a zigzag between the similarity and difference in Shadow and Dark Magic, which highlights the zigzag in Nacht and Yami’s bond over the years.
TLDR: I love BC’s use of an unconventional yet similar pair of magics to highlight the complicated dynamic between Nacht and Yami. Can’t you tell who my favorite vice captain is?

Thoughts about Tsukuyo
Tumblr media
She was introduced late as part of the main cast, but I think it was a good decision on Sorachi's end. This is because when he created her, he was already a more experienced writer, he’d been writing his characters for a while and knew what his story needed.
I really like the dualities of Tsukuyo’s character. Her exterior is hard and cold, but inside her lies a very sensitive and protective person. She was a rebel, she fought against an oppressive system from the shadows. This caused enormous loneliness, keeping an emotional distance from the rest, especially from Hinowa.
Jiraia's teachings had a deep impact on her. It went against her kind nature, but she was led to believe that caring for others, loving others made her weak. These characteristics, regarded “feminine” by her master, made her weak.
This is why I consider her arc to be so important and one that resonates with me personally. These ideas, although they’ve been changing, still linger in our society today. And the society of Gintama's world remains particularly sexist.
This is also explored with Kyuubei. But while Kyuubei completely rejects femininity and embraces masculinity, Tsukuyo rejects the idea of femininity (what she was taught it meant at least), but she still feels like a woman. They’re different paths facing the same situation.
Tumblr media
It’s over time that Tsukuyo begins to open up to others, learns to lean on others and overcome her traumas, especially in relation to her teacher. Being a caring person and loving is not something feminine or weak, on the contrary, it makes you someone strong. Sorachi completes her arc with these aspects in mind.
Although I consider Tsukuyo to be one of the best developed characters in the series, I was left wanting to see her interact with more characters. Don't get me wrong, her interactions with her family in Yoshiwara, the Yorozuya and the Gintaladies are extremely important, but I wish we’d seen more.
For example, I would’ve loved to see her in a trio with Sacchan and Zenzou (wait not that kind of trio-) as ninjas, more interactions with the Shinsengumi (considering the Hyakka is also a type of police). Speaking of the Hyakka, it would’ve been great to have a recurring character who was the vice-captain of that organization.
There's also the fact that almost all the characters Tsukuyo interacts with regularly are women, with the exception of Seita, Shinpachi, and Gintoki. A boy, a teenager, and a man (whose relationship hasn't caused any controversy amirite), but it would’ve been interesting if she’d more male friends.
That being said, I think Tsukuyo's character development was pretty good. Her character is realistic, multifaceted. More importantly, I believe that she reached her potential, both personally and professionally, with her being not only the leader of her organization, but also the leader of her city.

I was cleaning out my WIPs folder a few months ago, and I found the original draft of my Kira-and-Rose-Review-a-Restaurant story. It was nearly complete, and it's not anything earth-shattering, but it's also mildly entertaining, so I thought I would finish it up and send it out into the world. Then, of course, I procrastinated on that for months, but, hey! It's Kira's birthday! Happy birthday, Kira!
(read on ao3)
🍴 🐟 🍶
“Captain,” said Izuru, clutching his folders like a lifeline, “I think there’s been a misunderstanding.”
“My companion will have the tekkadon, but he would like the orange sauce on the side,” Captain Outoribashi informed the waiter. He squinted at his lieutenant. “Is that alright? Do you like tekkadon?”
“Er, yes, it’s fine,” Izuru excused. “Sir, when you said we could go over these budget requests over dinner, I thought we would go to a ramen stand or something. This is far too--”
Rose waved a hand. “It’s covered, don’t worry about it.”
Izuru chewed the inside of his cheek while his new captain continued to order a rather frightening amount of food. The waiter seemed to be taking all this in stride.
Captain Outoribashi couldn’t be more different than Captain Gin, he kept reminding himself. Rose was elegant and mannered, and was trying very, very hard to make everyone in Squad Three feel comfortable and welcome. He also had absolutely gorgeous waves of shining hair, velvety purple eyes that you could just fall into, and amazing taste in absolutely everything. Izuru would never have assumed in a million years that his captain would have any sort of… interest in someone like him, and yet, here they were. In a fancy restaurant. After work hours.
“Sir,” he started again, when the server had left. “It’s not about the money-- well, also, I feel you may have been misinformed, it’s true that I come from a noble family, but, uh… not a very well-funded one. It’s, just, er… I feel that a captain and a vice-captain should have a very professional relationship, you see, and this place is rather upscale, and I feel like you’ve gotten the wrong idea--”
Rose blinked at him. “You’re friends with Lieutenant Hisagi, no?”
Izuru’s cheeks colored. “Well, yes, sir, we’ve known each other since our school days.”
“He didn’t tell you?”
Izuru felt all the blood in his body fall down into his feet. “Tell me… what?”
“Well,” said Captain Outoribashi, with a sneaky smile on his face. “One of the first things I realized upon my return to Soul Society was that old curmudgeon Kyouraku Kenji had retired and that the restaurant review column had been vacant for nearly three years!”
“Wait, what?” Kira sputtered.
“According to your friend,” Rose rambled on, “His former captain felt that the column was elitist or somesuch and didn’t want to continue it, but what could be more egalitarian than communicating the rapture of fine dining to the masses? I thought I was going to need to lean on my good friend Kensei for a little old-fashioned favoritism, but Lieutenant Hisagi was perfectly willing to hand me the post, can you believe it? I assumed he might have mentioned it to you, you’re also a Bulletin contributor, are you not?”
“You’re here to review this restaurant?” Kira managed to get out.
Rose put an elegant finger to his lips. “Shh! We’re supposed to be secretive about it, but I refuse to use a nom de plume, so I am sure we’ll be quite infamous before long.”
“'We'?” Izuru echoed.
“Well, I need to try as many dishes as possible,” Rose mused. “I have to bring companions. You had a noble upbringing, so I’m sure your palate is quite sophisticated. And you’re a writer! I hope you don’t mind, but I was already planning on blatantly stealing any particularly clever turns of phrase that pass your lips.”
Kira felt frozen absolutely solid. Why did his captains always have to be so interested in him? Why couldn’t he get an icy asshole like Kuchiki who would forget he even existed whenever he was out of eyesight, or a battleax like the Kenpachi, who would just break his arms first thing in the morning? Who was he kidding? He knew very well he wouldn’t last ten minutes in Squad Eleven before someone ran his underwear up a flagpole.
Rose’s face fell. “If you’re not interested, just say so. I’m sorry for presuming. Do you happen to know anyone who likes fine dining? Kensei has excellent taste in cuisine, but he dislikes ambience, and you can’t take Hirako anywhere. Beyond that, I’m afraid I’ve fallen out of touch with many of my old acquaintances.”
No! Kira scolded himself. He has offered you a reasonable boundary and you can just say no. Say no, Izuru. Say it. Just because he’s lonely doesn’t mean it’s your job to be his friend. You’re his lieutenant and that’s all you have to be.
“An assortment of shiokara,” the waiter returned, setting a tray on the table holding a number of sampler bowls. “And your sake.”
“Do you like shiokara?” Rose asked, gesturing at the pots of fermented fish before picking up the sake. “Also, do you drink?” he asked belatedly. “I love it, but only with shots.”
“Ah, same,” Kira finally managed. “I tend to think of it as bar food, though, I’m a little bit skeptical of the artisan nonsense from the menu.” It was out of his mouth before he even thought about it-- you’re not at the izakaya with Hisagi and Abarai!! he reminded himself.
“Oh, Kira, you cannot say something like that and then refuse to give me your opinion on the finished product!” Rose sighed. “Please, just help me with this first review! I’ll…” he frowned. “I don’t know what you like. I’ll let you pick the music we listen to in the office for a whole week.”
Kira had already experienced the horror of Rose’s automatic music player that he had brought back from the World of the Living. “Er, that’s okay,” he replied. “I don’t really know any of the music you have. It’s probably better if you pick.” He grabbed a bite of firefly squid with his chopsticks. “I’m here, might as well.”
Rose’s face glowed.
---
“ ‘...I found the dish quite pleasant, although more adventurous diners may find the flavors too subtle. My delightful dining companion, a man of culture and manners, proclaimed that ‘you could throw a rock toward Rukongai and hit a bar with better shiokara than this.’”
“Savage,” Rangiku declared.
Momo slammed her Bulletin down on the table. “How did you convince him to let you go along? I wish my captain took me to fancy restaurants!”
“Who says it was me?” Izuru frowned, sipping his sake. “I don’t think it ever said the guy’s name. It could have been anyone.”
“Later on, he says that you described the rosewater agar agar as ‘smelling like your great- aunt’s house,’" Renji pointed out dryly, "which is the same thing you said about that facial cream Yumichika tried to get you to use."
"Why do you pay attention to things like that?" Izuru griped.
"Because he took it very personally and complained to me for a month about it!"
"Anyway," Shuuhei broke in, "Captain Outoribashi told me it was you. He wanted to make sure you got your co-author stipend." He jerked his chin. "He said he wasn't sure if you were going to keep doing it with him."
Izuru shrugged. "It was sort of by accident that I ended up going anyway."
"Well, if you don't want to, tell him that I like going to fancy restaurants," Rangiku offered.
"I think it's a nice opportunity to get to know your new captain!" Momo announced. "But if you really don't want to, I also like going to fancy restaurants."
"I also think you should do it," Renji said. "I don't care about fancy restaurants, but that was the funniest restaurant review I've ever read. Captain Kuchiki thought it was hilarious, too, by the way."
"He what," said Izuru.
"He chuckled softly and shook his head," Renji translated.
Izuru had to take a minute to process that one.
"Also, that sweet, sweet co-author stipend," Shuuhei pointed out.
Izuru glared at him.
"Look, it's too soon to have more than anecdotal feedback, but my editorial instincts tell me this column is going to be a big hit. You and Captain Outoribashi have rapport, Izuru! Chemistry!"
Izuru frowned, deeply. "He's my boss, Hisagi, and he's only been that for three weeks. All I want with him is an appropriate work relationship with healthy and firmly respected boundaries."
"How about a 10,000 kan per month dining budget?" Shuuhei replied, and took a shot of sake. "Alcohol permitted."
"Oh," said Izuru. "Well. Maybe that, too."

A/n: ansy speaking, not her. Please. P l e a s e. Don't read ANY of the endings unless you've reached the end of the story in your own way.
Link to the fic.
Tumblr media
In the public eye, it's known that you and Gepard were not the closest. Given how harsh his father was to you both, even the spouses were sure that you two had an unspoken rivalry. Expectations for greatness and undying loyalty for the Supreme Guardian had been ingrained so much that everyone thought you both always wanted to outdo the other to gain Mr. Landau's approval.
But that is far from the truth.
"(Y/n)."
"Yes, Captain?"
He looked away, cheeks and ears both red.
"I-Is my hand too cold?"
You smiled vibrantly.
Except for Serval and Pela, no one knew that you and Gepard had been dating for seven years. Lynx must've had a hunch, but you were both skilled enough to dodge suspicions.
Perhaps that's exactly what made your relationship exciting. Loving him was quite an expensive vice, and you relished every second you squandered. He thought the same as you; your pervasive cheerfulness reserved for his eyes only was something he often mentally chastised himself for obsessing so much, but he can't get enough of you. Being his "vixen" had been a label you cherished ever since he confessed his reciprocation of your feelings, especially when he said that you have made him resort to discreet flippancy when he saw other men and women take an interest in you several times.
You were certain he was obsessed with you as much as you were obsessed with him
A secret this big would certainly give Mr. Landau a turn, but when the time comes, you wouldn't mind the slaps and shards of ceramic and glass you'd have to face as long as you get to be with Gepard.
Your hold on his hand tightened. This led you to notice how ringless his fingers were and you frowned. You know Gepard. If you don't tie him down, one of his many fans will beguile and win his unwavering loyalty. That was his nature. And you couldn't accept being "just" some near-servant he was forced to grow up with.
"Not at all, no.”
He liked that response. Gepard flashed you a small lopsided smile that was incredibly attractive given how he rarely shows it to anyone.
"You don't have a ring on you..." You cast your gaze down. "Will we ever have a chance at getting married?"
Gepard ducked his chin, considering his words.
"W-Well, I don't know about that."
Your stomach dropped.
... You get it. You got it from then on.
Despite being together for 7 years– 7 YEARS– He will always prioritize his duties before you. You knew that was the core of his character– loyalty, and obedience– and it's likely the only real similarity between him and Mr. Landau. You’re used to it. However, seeing it confirmed again in this context hurts more than you thought it would.
You dropped his hand, you doubt he notices the absence of your warmth.
"So… the future's uncertain."
"Of course."
You didn't speak. There was no reason to do so. You knew that he was aware of how much you didn’t like his response.
Admittedly, Gepard's hands were always cold. It'd be funny to utter false romances on how perfectly warm his hands are when it feels like he walked straight out of a freezer. Today, his hands were ice, and so was his heart.
“(Y/n), I have something I’d like to tell you…”
Gepard gulped, ashamed.
“The truth is… You frighten me.”
"What…?"
You tilted your head, chuckling. His words didn't make much sense, especially when he was holding you so delicately.
"What do you mean?"
"Perhaps the proper phrasing is that I'm... afraid," Gepard looked away. "Of what's in store for us in the future... Should we continue this route."
You blinked.
"We are not in the Ministry of Education. Be more concise."
"I'm afraid to love you as much as you love me."
...
...
"... That doesn't answer anything."
"I'm afraid that I'll lose my sanity, being so close to you like this, holding you like this" he tightened his grip. "I'm afraid I'd lose my– myself, my hold on reality, my–"
"Name."
You let go.
"You're afraid that being in a relationship with me will end up getting you disowned. You're afraid of loving me because you have a duty you're obliged to uphold, especially since you're of noble blood and I am just an orphan your father picked up, right? You're afraid to get attached because growing up you've witnessed how little I'm worth. How I lived not like a human child, but a pawn, right? How– despite my skills– I will never be promoted based on my background and upbringing, yes?"
"(Y/n)..."
"Enough, Captain."
You laughed cruelly. Your breathing rehearsed– your face stiff as a board.
"Let's just forget we ever had this talk."
Tumblr media
“Through highs and lows, we’ll always prevail,
Hand-in-hand, we’ll conquer any trail…"
Tumblr media
You kept a fixed gaze on Gepard as he continued to sit in his cozy office chair. The unsettling aura that permeated your entire existence didn't appear to trouble him too much. He was aware of why you had come, but he was unable to express himself as he let you in.
"Gepard."
His suspicions were correct. You weren't here for official matters. This visit was personal.
And he is the one at fault here.
"(Y/n)."
"Don't." You shook your head. "Don't get me started."
"Well, what is it that you wish for me to say?"
"Say that you didn't want it." You spoke, unfettered. "Say that you don't want us to be siblings."
"I don't."
"Then why?" You laughed breathlessly. "Why did you let father– your father do this?"
"I don't– I didn't let him do it. It's just the way it is. They want you as the official third Landau, that is all."
"That's all I am to you? A rival to heirdom?"
"(N/n)..." He covered his mouth with his hand; his stare melancholic yet enraged. “You know it’s not true. Take it back.”
"But ultimately, our relationship means nothing but a waste of time." You shook your head. "It would've hurt less if you just rejected me early on. It wouldn't be this fucking painful."
"I know."
You raised your axe.
"Of course you do. You always were sharp." You scoffed. He gulped as the rough edges of your laughter struck a chord in his chest– Gepard had never heard you cackle this much.
Strange how the same axe that used to bring him security on the frontlines now overwhelms him with obvious dread.
"At this point, I'm so convinced this pain I'm feeling right now– it's intentional. All a way to keep yourself amused under the guise of upholding the family’s orders."
"(Y/n)." he attempted to speak your name firmly, but there was a quiver by the end of it. "Stand down."
Gepard breathed in.
“I… I can always help you find a match–”
“YOU DON'T GET IT, DO YOU?! I DON’T NEED A MATCH. I JUST WANT YOU!!!”
Your breathing no longer seemed "rehearsed"– resoundingly jagged and feral. Should Gepard be lucky enough to have an outsider witness his final moments, they would've seen how you were crumbling– every inch displaying how you were expiring out of heartbreak.
He gave you half a smile as he approached cautiously. Gepard had always been keenly observant– able to deduce who true criminals were by a single testimony– and you do not have that advantage.
"(N/n)..."
"Why…?"
The glint in your eye as you hoisted your axe upward never left.
"Did you ever... love me back?" You cracked. "In all our years together, sneaking out— carefully unscrewing your windows just to go wherever– did you ever think about us? Or... Or were you just kind this whole time? Were you just afraid of breaking my heart?"
Gepard shook his head, walking towards you with heavy footsteps. He took your shoulders and stared at you dead in the eye, his eyes watering.
"N-No...! No, no, I love you, more than you think. It’s why I’m doing this. I— I love you so much that I knew if I– If I let myself go," he gulped. “I might end up killing Dad.”
"Then why?" You sobbed, wiping your tears quickly to save face. "Why are you giving me up so easily?"
"(Y/n)... What I feel for you just isn't normal." He smiled crookedly. “No sane son would constantly dream about suffocating his father with a pillow just to be with someone. This isn’t right anymore. I-I don’t think I’m sane.”
Gepard cupped your cheeks.
His hands were cold. As it always was.
"I want you all to myself and it's... I can't. I can't say it out loud. It feels like a crime against Belobog." He leaned in, touching his forehead against yours. Gepard closed his eyes, worried that if he continued to face you, he'd dissolve into nothing.
The great Captain Gepard Landau, adored by many, was scared of himself.
"I'm always paranoid. I'm scared of watching you– watching you succeed. It's not a person I'm supposed to be. I'm your Captain, I should be happy whenever others imply your promotion but I'm not! I'm– I don't even understand why!!! I’m unhappy when other people have your attention– I just don't want to see that look of fixation in your eyes for another man– I don't want you to look at people like Sampo Koski over— over..."
… me.
With a perverse mixture of mischief and rivalry, Sampo manipulated circumstances that engineered chance encounters with you. He strategized himself in your path, feigning coincidental meetings while leaving a trail of subtle clues only you would realize.
Gepard despises acknowledging it, but he is quite certain that Sampo Koski's strategy of losing from the start is what led to your imminent promotion. Irritatingly, you don't seem to care for his creepy antics and his upfront need for your attention, even inside metallic confinement. In Gepard's eyes, your irritated grin showed that you were taking pleasure in Sampo's "comedic" performances. You don't appear to be bothered by Sampo. Gepard is not identical.
And to this, your dear Captain was starting to see his father when looking in the mirror.
A bitter old man with little patience when another person touches what’s his.
Gepard breathed in shakily.
"I don't... want… And that’s why I am not fit to be your lover. You deserve a life much better than this. A life where our opportunities are the same– and I cannot give you that Landau name, but my parents can."
He dropped his trembling hands as they led to his sides. Gepard faced the floor, ashamed with his conscience dirtied. It's as though he's dumping all his dirty laundry on you. No matter how much he voices how much these thoughts plague him, he doubts you understand the extent of his love.
But you do. And you feel it more strongly than he does.
"... You don't want to be ruined by love, that's all?"
You sighed, ghost-like.
"I see. Truly, you carry the will of Qlipoth."
Suddenly, you were back to being a model soldier.
Gepard refused to open his eyes.
It seemed as though he had forgotten.
How much you resembled his father more than he did.
A scream echoed throughout the vicinity.
No one else heard it but you. Not even Gepard realized that guttural sound came from him.
Always so rehearsed. So calculated.
As Mr. Landau used to say: "With a strength like yours, (Y/n), it'll take two chops before you can take out a limb."
And he was right. He was always right about you.
"(Y-Y/N)!!!"
You blinked slowly.
Time moved slowly. You grabbed the chopped wood on the floor. You tossed it to the side. It's a lot more moist than usual, and heavier as well, like an over-drowned rotting cactus. The temperature must've dropped again. You should consult Lynx about this later.
"Captain. There's not enough wood for the soldiers at the outpost."
"ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?!?!" Gepard screamed. Strangely enough, he sounded like he was in pain.
You blinked again. Why is the Captain so agitated? Is there an emergency?
"What's wrong, Captain?" You voiced out, awfully calm. A silent voice begged you to panic, but you were a soldier first and foremost. How will you protect the people if you're easily swayed by your captain's mood fluctuations?
Gepard shook, holding himself up against his desk. A surge of searing pain coursed through his body as the “chopped wood” was ruthlessly severed. The shock and disbelief enveloped him, no different from a fog. Collapsing to his knees, he clutched the mangled “stump” where his arm once was, blood staining his trembling hand.
Tears mingled with the beads of sweat on his forehead. He gasped for breath. Amid his physical agony, you stood tall, wordlessly threatening to consume him.
"(Y-Y/n)...! P-Please!!!" He yelped in pain.
"Did you hurt yourself? May I see?"
"Y-You..." Tears rolled down Gepard’s face. “W-WHY DID YOU?!?!–”
"Don't worry. You've helped me train on my combat lifesaver course, please allow me."
You took a step forward, hands moist from the “snow”.
His non-dominant hand slapped yours away.
Why didn’t he use his dominant hand?
"D-DON'T!!!"
You stopped.
"Captain. You're being hysterical. Please take deep breaths."
"H-Hah... H-H-Hhahh… H-Hahh, why? H-Hahah…"
Gepard looked down again.
You both stayed there for minutes.
You stood with a worn axe in hand, a single “lumber” at your feet. In your mind, it was a simple task— chopping wood for your comrade’s warmth and comfort in the upcoming expedition. But Gepard's eyes revealed a different story.
You observed his trembling form, his gaze fixed on the place where your swing had connected. What had you missed? You couldn't fathom why he seemed terrified. What had you failed to see? Innocently, you believed you were going about a mundane chore. The weight of the axe felt ordinary in your grip, the act of splitting wood a routine you had performed countless times. How could you have known the magnitude of what had transpired?
But he couldn't turn a blind eye to the truth as you tilted his head up, smiling vibrantly.
"I.. .... ..u."
All he could hear was the syllables “I” and “U.”
You knelt and kissed his cheek. He was wet, probably from the snow. Yes. The snow. Gepard was a clumsy man, he must've stumbled on his way to his office. Mr. Landau had always berated him for his unrefined movements, but you secretly thought it as endearing.
"I.. lo.. ..u. So much, Geppie." You grinned as you sloppily slid the axe in your possession to his remaining hand. "But you need to stop crying. You’re a soldier."
That sentence. It was just like hearing them out of Mr. Landau’s lips.
You pointed at yourself— your thigh— your leg.
"Dry your tears and help me chop wood, okay?"
It took him seconds before he met your gaze.
Your eyes were like staring at the blurry snow beyond the gates of the Administrative district. He knew there must be something there but all that gazed back was foggy and bottomless. The problem is, his vision too was starting to blacken.
He weakly pecked your lips.
“Okay… Okay…”
Gepard laughed mid-tears, his energy draining.
His cries reached a hauntingly high-pitched cry that echoed like metal against metal. His mournful wails never resembled wolfish growls but rather heartbroken cries. His speech resembles the guttural syllables "I" and "U" in an auditory expression of grief.
Like a monster whose flesh was stitched with a Silvermane Guard uniform, he grabbed the axe and began to chant mindlessly.
Gepard remembered Pela said something about this before.
‘When the body loses a substantial amount of blood, it can disrupt the delivery of oxygen to the brain, affecting its function and leading to altered mental states, including distress. Hypovolemic shock can also occur within a matter of minutes to hours after experiencing significant blood loss.’
That's right, that must be it. It was even in his lifesaver training course. As a Captain, how dare he forget about it?
Gepard took the axe with his remaining arm, weakly swinging it as tears rolled in his eyes. His legs are giving up and he’s starting to feel queasy as the world whirls around him,
For a minute there– or the last minutes he would ever have– he finally gave himself the release he needed.
He's been a good child for too long. He couldn't say those three words when you needed motivation. He couldn't whisper when you asked for his relief. He couldn't scream it when you craved its solace.
At least now, he can confess his love when it counted.
“I-I love you, (Y/n).” Gepard harshly took a deep breath as he lowered his arm. He's a soldier. He wasn't supposed to question the orders from his superiors, and right now, you were the only person he looked up to.
The clock struck 10:10.
“I love you, so, so much.”
An eye for an eye, and you were forgiven.

“In our home, you’re always free to stay…”
Tumblr media
It was lunchtime when people started returning to their posts. Pela took a half-day, begging Serval to kindly deliver the papers instead of her due to a convention. This was something the now-promoted intelligence officer wished she had never done.
Pela wished she didn't force Serval to witness the gruesome sight of her brother embraced by his cold-eyed murderer.
She couldn't scream. For once, the vocalist had no smart words to say. She let herself run on auto-pilot hauntingly as though it was a mere volunteer job at the orphanage.
Serval avoided staring at your chopped leg and Gepard's arm strewn to the side, neatly sitting together like lumber. Her breathing was abnormal as she clawed her skirt. None of this was real to her. None of this made any sense.
"H-Hey... (Y/n)..."
You looked up.
"W-What… happened?"
"We were just chopping wood." You replied, monotone. “And then he felt sleepy…”
You were starting to feel tired too. You don’t want to stand up anymore.
"Chopping.. w-wood..." Serval's voice cracked as she began to cry. "W-What... for...?"
"The soldiers at the outpost. We have an expedition. I suppose the captain was just too tired to move…"
"O-Oh dear Qlipoth— (Y/N)!!!" Serval felt bile rising to her throat. “GEPARD!!!”
Serval's heart pounded in her chest as she reluctantly sprinted, her steps quick and frantic. There you “sat”, cradling Gepard's lifeless form in your arms, a serene expression on your face.
With shaky hands, she held Gepard alongside you. Large tears soon splotched Gepard’s peaceful expression, painted with his older sister’s grief.
Your gaze met Serval's, and at that moment, the lifeless confusion etched across your face sent a sharp pang of pain through her heart. You spoke, your words tinged with innocence, unaware of how the dried red liquid soaking both your clothes was starting to turn brown.
Painfully, Serval misunderstood your words. In her mind, she envisioned a violent attack, a scenario where someone had assaulted both of you, clouding your judgment and leaving you lost in confusion like a wounded deer. Afterward, she thought of how you must’ve been mad about Gepard’s passiveness concerning their father’s decision, attacking him without much thought.
Serval's cries intensified. Her understanding of the situation clashed with your warped perception.
Did she see you not as a perpetrator but as another sibling caught in an ambush?
Or did she understand what happened, and simply wanted you to get away from the crime you had committed?
Temporarily, her focus was on you. Looking only at Gepard was too much to bear– like another half of herself was burned to sunder.
“Shhh, it’s okay, it’s okay.” Serval smiled warily and replied in an overly pert tone. “I’ll get a mop— w-we’ll clean this mess, okay? You didn’t do it. You did what you can. You did nothing wrong…”
Serval sobbed.
Either way, she won’t lose another important person in her life.
Not again.
You tilted your head, eyes slowly fluttering shut.
“W-Why are you crying, Serv?”
“(Y/n), i-it’s okay! C-Calm down, calm down. Things just happen. I’ll help you okay? Shhh, d-don’t cry, don’t cry, I'm here… I won’t let you leave me.”
“... Who’s coming to take me away…?”
“N-No, no… I won’t let it happen. They don’t even have to know you were here. P-Pass the mop now, shhh…”
She was speaking to herself more than she was speaking to you.
Even when she is her only conversation partner, Serval was a lousy liar.
But despite all those lies, she knew that she would never recover from losing Gepard.
Tumblr media
“Together, we’ll face each passing day…”
Your eyes fluttered open, your body drenched in cold sweat.
You’re out of the back alley.
You breathed shakily. You’re free. And yet, a lingering sense of fear clings to your senses. Gasping for breath, you found yourself in an unfortunately very familiar room. You didn’t know what time it was, but the soft glow of moonlight casting a gentle light across the hospital walls told you what you needed to know. And there, by your side, sat Serval who held your hand the entire time, a mix of relief and concern etched upon her face.
"S-Serval?" Your voice trembled as you whispered her name, still reeling from the remnants of that nightmare.
Serval's eyes widened in surprise, her voice laced with a hint of guilt. "You're awake! Oh, thank– I didn't know what I would do if I lost you."
Not you too.
She continued.
“Seriously, why did you try to escape?”
Her hold on your hand tightened.
Serval’s hands were cold, just like Gepard’s.
“Don’t you know how worried sick I was?” Serval’s voice was airy as if she didn’t want anyone else to hear her concerns. “I thought you and Sampo eloped. Not to mention this whole event about a murder happening at 10:10– I genuinely thought you were dead when we found you lying down near the Golden Theater at that time!”
She took a deep breath.
“I thought you were dead. I genuinely thought I’d lose another sibling.” Serval cried as she pulled you closer, her head now resting on your shoulder. “Don’t scare me like that again!!!”
You gulped, feeling something stuck in your throat.
“Were… you singing?”
“Ah!” Serval’s eyes widened. “Yes, yes I was.”
“I’m sorry, was it too cheesy?” She laughed quietly. “Lynx, Pela, and I are still working on it. We were hoping to perform it for you once you got better. Dunn was even willing to help out.”
This is wrong.
This is wrong.
This is wrong.
You don’t deserve her kindness. You don’t deserve their affection.
Your obsession with Gepard Landau was consuming, swallowing you whole. With an already fragile mind– he had effectively shattered your mental state, no matter how merciful he had done it.
Human unpredictability is a terrifying variable. Who would’ve known that the unofficial Landau could lose themselves in blind rage and desperation? A hole so deep, you haven’t realized the axe you wielded severed his arm. But such a tragedy was only the beginning. Gepard tore your leg off your body in the process as well.
Most importantly, unable to control both physical and mental anguish, you took his life, extinguishing your raison d’etre.
Finally, the lines between reality and delusion crispened.
In his final moments, what was he thinking about? Why was he smiling as you ripped away his arm? Why did he still hold you so gently? Why did he...
You cried.
“I killed him.”
You shook.
“I killed him, Serval!” You grasped a handful of the hospital bedsheets, sobbing wildly. “I killed your brother!!!”
You couldn’t face him. A murderer couldn’t face the family of their victims with a heavy conscience. You couldn’t see her eyes after this. You want her to gouge them out for you.
“Hah.”
But amidst that silence, you heard a soft somber chuckle.
“I know.”
You snapped your neck towards her.
“What…?”
“I know. I know you killed Geppie.” Serval spoke, emotionless. “And I won’t ever forgive you for that. I’m sorry, (Y/n), but you know how long it takes for me to let go of past grudges. It was so easy for you to just take my brother off this world... Don't you at least owe me an explanation!? I don’t want another "I blacked out" as an excuse. So don’t bother if you can’t give me a good honest answer.”
She’s right.
You can never give her a good honest answer. You can either give her a good one or an honest one– they’re mutually exclusive in this scenario.
You gulped. “I-I’m so sorry, Ser–”
“But,” she chuckled, full of self-loathing. “I grew up with you. You were always there for me, as a servant, friend, my dad’s favorite, my brother’s lover, or my sibling.”
Serval took a deep breath.
“You’re still our third Landau. I don’t know how I feel about you, but what I do know is that I need to keep you alive.”
“B-BUT—”
“I’m not the only one who will lose another sibling. Lynx will too.”
Serval shook her head, placing a finger on her lip as she closed her eyes.
“I should’ve locked the door to the basement.” She repeated those words with more conviction. “I should’ve locked the door to the basement. You wouldn’t have remembered everything if I just asked Molly to double-check the locks.”
You slipped your hand away from hers.
“What do you…”
You can no longer form complete sentences and Serval won’t let you do so either way.
“Dr. Kang Tu’s medicine has worn off quickly, huh? Maybe I can get Pela to find better connections. She knows people with a Ph.D. in medicine or pharmacy or something, right? It shouldn't be too hard. Maybe I can ask Dr. Kang Tu if it's possible to up the dosage— surely there are a ton of customers who aren't too satisfied with this therapy device. Heck, maybe I can tinker with it for a little. My engineering degree isn't worth dust. Maybe I can adjust the settings just a bit better. Yeah... It'll be fine. I can work this out. I'll just have to—"
You stared blankly as Serval talked to herself. If there's something worse than watching her lie, it's to watch her be incredibly earnest about something vile and wrong.
"Serval?"
"Yeah, I can do that, no sweat!" She laughed out loud. Her pupils were dilated, as though her self-encouragements can make her run a mile. "Yeah, I can do this. Dad may think I'm useless but I’m the only one who can save his favorite kid. Sure, I’m an ex-engineer from the Technology Division, but I’m also the only one that can still protect– preserve this family."
Her prolonged rants were unnerving as she fumbled with what was in her bag.
Suddenly, remembered all the "experiments" she had done to you when you were tied up in her basement. The stuffy air, the strange electrifying devices, the cables, the sockets that connect to both your temples-- the flickering lights that made you pass out and wake up in a never-ending cold sweat.
Suddenly, you remembered why you wanted to leave.
"What are you—"
You finally shared a gaze.
Your heart dropped.
Her eyes were empty. Cold. Yet it squinted as she wore a large smile. Too large to be considered normal. But this was the same sight you'd see whenever you woke up. And it never fails to make you worry despite the pain you endured.
Serval Landau is broken, yet she wanted to be the one to "fix" you like a good older sister.
And it's all your fault.
Like all Landaus, there's no stopping them once they've made up their mind. A “family code of conduct”— one that you had once followed before.
“I’m sorry, (Y/n).” Serval smiled as she turned something on.
The mobile amnesic therapy meditation device looked like it belonged naturally in her hands.
“But I still need this happy family to work. If not for Gepard, then for Mom and Lynx. They’d be too heartbroken if they knew the truth.”
You started to hear that familiar radio static again.
“So forget everything that happened, okay?”

Notes : reader uses male pronouns (he/him) and this is also requested in my inbox but i lost it.
Warnings : -
Being a transfered student at Karasuno High School isn't really all sunshine and rainbows, being an average catching up with the semester and assignments with the materials you barely know about is no doubt difficult. Picking your hobbies and clubs is much easier, Despite how fun the , you're pretty nervous about the people who are joining them.
Keishin Ukai (烏養 繫心) is one intimidating coach when you first walk in the room, but nevertheless he told the other members to treat you well. Soon enough you've made friends with all of them!
The members could describe you as clueless or even ignorant when it comes to romance and relationship or even jokes (Tsukishima's sarcasm lmao) and it frustrates Tadashi to no end, it's obvious he likes you.. why cant your big brain figure that out already?? Even the vice-captain of the volleyball club tried helping but it's helpless.
Even though you bonded with with almost everybody there, a certain freckled boy has caught your attention. But you didn't really took it seriously knowing he's much closer to the very sarcastic salt shaker known as Tsukishima kei (月島 蛍). But what you didn't know is that the adorable freckled boy is also interested, very interested in fact.
The times where he helped you do the work around the club with him, cleaning the floors, putting the net on, rolling it back, collecting the scattered vollyballs and much more. He tries mustering up the courage to ask you out but when he did you only took it as a friendly lunch and even invited the others to join which clearly upsets him. But nevertheless he was patient, this time he waited for everyone to go home before catching up to you "[m/n] wait!" Said tadashi as he ran to you making you turn around to see who called "oh? Yamaguchi,What's up?" You stopped your tracks to wait for him as you walked together side by side. There was a good minute of total awkward silence but Tadashi broke it by asking— "well i was thinking, perhaps we could go for dinner? It's on me, I h-have something to discuss.." it was a bit strange that he couldn't look at you while he asked but it's a free meal so who are you to deny.
Both of you find a typical shokudo and sit down somewhere far from the center. It's clear as day that Tadashi seems nervous and fidgety but you couldn't think of a reason why, he finally spoke everything that's been bottled up "I've taken an interest in you ever since you've joined Karasuno, I've been hinting and showing signs but you wouldn't pick it up so— i decided to tell you tonight"
"willyoubemyboyfriend?"
(will you?)
