And, indeed, there was an extremely tall Vulcan, dressed entirely in close-fitting black garments, his long, dark hair streaked with gray, the top half of it up in a bun, and a sword in both hands, poised to strike. 

Facing us, his back to a brick wall, was none other than Skrain Dukat , with his hands up, smiling broadly, as only a Cardassian can, with sheer terror. 

The Vulcan spoke, and his voice was utterly unmistakable. “Attempt to contact your ship, and I will bring your head to the Maquis as a trophy.” It was none other than S’chn T’gai Spock. 

Dukat chuckled with fear, shaking his head, “Admiral Spock…”

“No one has called me Admiral in thirty years, Dukat.”

“Nonetheless!” Dukat said. “You’re a Vulcan! Bred for peace!”

“Yes, I’m fond of that quote. I have another: The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few…” and then, Spock added, with venom, “or the one. And you. Have cut a path of suffering and destruction so wide, and so deep, that in ten lifetimes, it could never be healed. Logically, shall I allow it to continue?” 

“I am sorry about what happened to Doctor McCoy,” Dukat said. “I am! Truly!”

I felt my breath catch with panic. 

“But he sabotaged my ship!” Dukat continued, “I had a duty!”

Kiara maneuvered around Spock, and, taking advantage of Dukat’s shock at seeing her, executed a neck-pinch and laid the Cardassian flat. Then she turned around to face Spock and folded her arms. “Really, Spock?”

“Kiara!” He exclaimed, then sheathed his sword in a scabbard at his back, and rushed forward to hug her. 

“You dramatic asshole!” Kiara chuckled. “Is Leo ok?”

“He will be,” said Spock, now pulling away to look into Kiara’s face, still holding her arms. “He’s with Lan in the infirmary at the temple.” He let her go. “I must deal with Dukat.”

“You can’t kill him, Spock,” said Kiara. “The tenuous sympathies of the Federation will go up in smoke if he turns up dead. Take it from the tactician. Penny wise, pound foolish.”

“What do you recommend, Colonel?” Spock asked. 

Kiara rolled her eyes and snorted. “Dumpster?”

WHAT’S YOUR OTP FOR YOUR MUSE?: With Naprem, it’s obvious. Naprain will be the death of me, probably. It’s the most problematic OTP I’ve ever had in my life and it fills my life with pain and misery and loathing, but... man. She loves him so much. @skrain400babiesdukat is too good to me, and their romance melts me into a big pile of sad shouting goo.

WHAT ARE YOU WILLING TO RP WHEN IT COMES TO SHIPPING?: My range is pretty big, and my sheer number of AUs proves it -- I’ve played Naprem as a mistress, as the leader of a harem, as a rebel leader, as an Ambassador, as a witch in love with a witch hunter, etc. I’m more than willing to rp angst, emotional manipulation and abuse. I pretty much only draw the line at sexual abuse and rape. 

HOW LARGE DOES THE AGE GAP HAVE TO BE TO MAKE IT UNCOMFORTABLE?: I think I telegraphed my disdain for huge age gaps pretty clearly when I made Naprem as close in age to Skrain as she is. Skrain’s old by human standards, but Naprem is solidly in Bajoran middle age, which is also old by human standards, and I did that on purpose. I didn’t want her youth to factor into their already very unbalanced power dynamic. It’s bad enough without being outright predatory. Basically, age gaps make me uncomfortable when someone in a relationship is closer to childhood than they are to the age of the person they’re seeing. And that’s not universal (since I rp with a lot of immortals, who kind of jump that line) but it is fairly consistent.

ARE YOU SELECTIVE WHEN SHIPPING?: With most characters, no. With Naprem...yes. Very. Her singular, deep love for Dukat is a huge part of her character, and I’ve never been able to ship her with anyone else in an organic way. I’m very open to one-sided, unreciprocated ships with her, but she’s a one-man kind of girl, and I’ve made my peace with that. Sorry y’all. :/

HOW FAR DO STEAMY MOMENTS HAVE TO GO BEFORE THEY’RE CONSIDERED NSFW?: Just to be safe, I put most stuff past “kissing with all their clothes on” under a cut. I rp at work, so I’m more conservative about when and how aggressively I cut and tag stuff that you wouldn’t want your boss reading over your shoulder. I also list trigger warnings in the body of the post, because I don’t want people to get blindsided if they’re on mobile and can’t blacklist their triggers.

WHO ARE OTHER MUSES YOU SHIP YOUR MUSE WITH?: Shout out to @skrain400babiesdukat who has my love and loyalty always. I also ship her (one-sided) with an OC I’ve waved around before -- a guy named Dejaa Renul -- who used to be the captain of her personal security detail. Honestly, I ship her a little with Kira Meru too, but I’ve never found another Meru player after @kinkyfuckeryoftas.

DOES ONE HAVE TO ASK TO SHIP WITH YOU?: Yes. Obviously, Dukat players can kind of expect to hop right in, but I really need to have some time to establish what shared history we’re working with. With anyone else, you’re more than welcome to pitch me on what you’re thinking. I’m not saying I’ll never ship Naprem with anyone but Skrain, but I haven’t yet. So if you’re interested, let me know what you’re thinking. But definitely don’t jump right into it without asking.

HOW OFTEN DO YOU LIKE TO SHIP?: With Naprem, the answer is “not very often.” This isn’t true with my other characters, but Naprem’s central relationship is intrinsic to her character. So...not very often.

Afterlife: Resurrection - Introduction

He’s talking to Ziyal and Naprem, explaining the basics of the Cardassian legal system to them as they watch Skrain attending his trial on the vision screen, when all of the sudden they’re not there. The vision is gone, and the endless expanse of the stars has been replaced with Cardassian walls. For a moment he wonders if he’s home, if the past eternity has been nothing but a nightmare, but then he hears a voice demand, in Federation Standard, “Who are you?”

Procal turns and sees the Captain Skrain is obsessed with, Benjamin Sisko. He quickly realizes he’s standing in the man’s office, and that the Bajoran woman, Kira Nerys, is pointing a phaser at him.

Is this some sort of new test from the creatures?

They’re waiting for an answer as he adjusts to his surroundings. The lights are too bright, and he’s suddenly aware of being cold. He straightens up, wondering why he feels so short compared to the Captain. “I’m First Justice Procal Dukat.”

The Bajoran woman barks a laugh, and he scowls at her. If this was... however many years ago, he would reprimand her for laughing at him. But Naprem and Ziyal have been reminding him not to be rude about their being Bajoran, and he decides to hold his tongue.

Captain Sisko frowns. “How did you get here?”

He thought the man was supposed to be the Emissary. Couldn’t he tell? “The creatures have sent me.”

“Creatures?”

“The Prophets.” Procal recalls one of the visions that had only appeared once. “Or perhaps the Pah-wraiths. I’m not sure.”

“What? Is this some kind of joke?”

“Most assuredly not.” He looks around. It seems Ziyal and her mother had not been sent with him. He’s disgusted to find that he feels lonely without them.

“Who are you?” Sisko demands, again. He rises from his seat.

“Procal Dukat.” He already answered. Why did he have to say it again?

“Listen, kid, Procal Dukat is dead. And even if he wasn’t, he’s certainly not some child.”

“Child?” he echoes, and looks down at himself. Sure enough, his body looks decades younger, like a young teenager, and he’s in a smaller version of the clothes he died in, blood stains and all. He touches one of the stains, but it’s dry. “These are the clothes I was wearing when that Obsidian Order agent killed me. Why would they put me in this?”

1) PLEASE, if it isn’t a Ds9 prequel where we can see Kira kicking Cardassians’ ass in the resistance, I CAN’T STAND MORE PREQUEL PLEASE LEAVE KIRK’S STORYLINE AND ERA alone!

7) Give me happy Odo/Kira reunion, storyline, they live forever happy, children, adopted children, THE OBRIENS VISIT THEM AND THEY FORM ONE HUGE HAPPY FAMILY, Kira has the opportunity to stay with Kirayoshi, Kirayoshi gets a new shapeshifting sister, Sisko comes back and live happily with Cassie and their baby, Rom and Leeta on Ferenginar changing society and havin’ a good time, Odo yelling at Quark, Garak and Bashir kissing and ruling on Cardassia as Spy King and Doctor King, MORN talking, GIVE ME A HAPPY DS9 REUNION with also Jadzia being alive but also Ezri ya know EVERYTHING’S ALRIGHT

8) CAPTAIN NOG MUST BE A THING (alongside with reporter J. Sisko)

9) Dark Trek is ok but not ONLY DARK TREK because DSC has so much darkness please give Saru an happy moment

Ok people I’ve made my annual Star Trek wish list in poor english grammar (please forgive me I’m not an English native speaker and I don’t live in an anglophone country but I’m a university student who tries very much to be international 🤓) and THIS IS MY HUMBLE OPINION not best than anyone else’s one.

You can enjoy new dark treks and eat Kelpians (? That would be a bit sick and strange honey because Saru is one of the best parts of DSC F I G H T M E), new jj treks, kirk listening to Beastie Boys, you can hate tribbles (Klingons are good people), you can hate O/K (yes well maybe don’t say it to me because I get A N G R Y but a fellow ds9 fan is always beloved and I have to admit that also Kira/Dax is a good ship) and you can love Ezri/Bashir (?!?!?!?), you can hate Voyager reunion, you can hate Porthos (HOW?!?!?!?!) and you will always be welcome on my page ❤️

Not welcome: hate speech, flame, Skrain Dukat, talking about Data’s death because it isn’t canon.
