I just saw this on instagram but for like a split second and i haven’t seen any other reports of this anywhere else so take this with a grain of salt

the post said there was a line from the marvels that was cut involving carol and valkyrie were one of them said “we work better as friends anyways” HINTING THAT THEY DATED IN THE PAST. again, please don’t take my word for it though instagram is not the best source. HOWEVER IF THIS IS TRUE, THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN AMAZING

Something that depresses me so much is that in the Falcon and the Winter Soldier we get to see Bucky healing slowly from all his trauma, and being included in a family (Sam’s) again and he’s so much better mentally and happier and over all in a better place than he has been in literal decades and Steve never got to see it because he left.

I have an idea for Captain Marvel like if Captain been here since like the 1950s like imagine captain marval used to be Carmen Sandigo and is considered a catwomen/batman before they were even born and till morden era nobody knows it was him he just changed gender and appearance mabye he was was a influencal figure for women’s right or he was a well known explorer like indina jones hell mabye he knew Martha Wayne and used to take down corrupt corruptions together, or he was a famous marine like imagine captain marvel with like a whole different identities that he had and eventually left behind over the years of corse his most constant and important one is whiz kid but Billy will breach out and make new identities for certain jobs that captain marvel simply can’t do and no one will know its him even better Mary and Freddy will create new identities to help him out or simply because they want to like what if Freddy and Billy joined the mafia and took it down from inside out or that he and Mary joined the entertainment industry and took down corrupt companies and directors like imagine the potential specially if knew a bunch of the league parent or worked with some of them.

I got more warm & fuzzy shipping energy from those ten seconds of Carol/Valkyrie interaction in The Marvels than I did from that whole song & dance scene of Carol and her Prince Husband.

So thank you for that Marvel Studios, because I haven't had a new MCU slash pairing in a while...

Captain Sloan travelled out to the Heretic's End system where the Jump Gate was set to reactivate, and as well as receiving word from the research commander (Numanckaret, emissary of the Alliance of the Word) she was contacted by a nearby scientist named Boso Ta - thought to be the only member of the Boron Queendom left in this part of the galaxy after the Gates to their homelands shut down - who invited her to their research station with talk of some work available. This certainly sounded like the sort of opportunity she was hoping for, but the reactivation of a Jump Gate was an event too momentous for even her mercenary mind to be swayed from experiencing it.

The reactivation was safe and successful, and Sloan was one of the first ships in. The station on the other end appeared entirely unpopulated, aside from the derelict of an old L-class Boron starship, a sight not seen in many years; after retrieving a data cache for Boso Ta and the Alliance, a fast-moving unknown ship was spotted on an intercept course: a Boron explorer had spotted the expedition, and wanted to greet them. They described what had happened to their society since the Jump Gate shutdown - separation of the colonies from the Queendom, which was not only logistically disastrous but a terrible blow to their mild hive mind affinity, combined with raids from the Kha'ak and Split, left the Provinces Adrift (as they called themselves under indefinite self-governing stewardship) in a precarious situation, suffering from severe resource shortages and far too little security. Perfect circumstances for Captain Sloan to take advantage of, not that she'd say so out loud.

The explorer took the expedition to meet the Royal Steward Leda We, whose first introduction with Numanckaret quickly turned from jubilance to acrimony, and Sloan (invited to the historic meeting for having been the lucky one to make first contact) ended up trying to mediate between the parties, which was very much not a role she was expecting or especially wanting but she thought the connections could at least be useful. In the end she managed to convince the Steward to allow the Alliance to explore the other nearby inactive Jump Gates, after they provided security assurances, and Sloan was invited to join those efforts - to that end, the Steward furnished her with a Boron scout fighter ship, which was unexpected and a tremendous boon; it vastly outstripped the old Misfit in every way even despite the upgrades Sloan had installed, with exceptionally agile handling, powerful weaponry and a staggeringly fast engine.

Content that exploring wouldn't miss her for a while, she took the lovely new ship and went back to see what Boso Ta was offering.

In addition, while all this was going on, Sloan got a message from Dr Feelgood's captain, Gil Marval, informing her that the Teladi Company, in gratitude for the extensive purchase history she had built up, was inviting her to a meeting with a public representative for formal recognition, alongside a minor discount on all purchases at their stations. It was a fair distance away so she wasn't going to make the trip at least until after Boso Ta's business was concluded, but the discount applied immediately and made Dr Feelgood's runs that much more profitable. She thought it best not to mention that they were effectively rewarding her for providing their soldiers unlicensed alcohol and hallucinogens.

Anyone else just going about their day and then suddenly remembering how Marvel ended Steve’s story line and crying because Stucky 😭😭😭😭
