Writers, I need help! I have a punctuation question concerning dialogue.
Which out of the two examples below is correct?
"Stop worrying so much," Izuku said, frowning with concern, "you're only going to stress yourself out more."

Hi everyone,
I found an interesting article that talks about how companies are capitalizing on ADHD diagnoses. According to the article:
Since 2018, prescription rates for ADHD medications in Australia have more than doubled, in parallel with an ongoing diagnosis wave driven by a spike in public awareness.
As the need for services has grown, so have waitlists.
"A lot of psychiatrists have closed their books … because they're just overwhelmed," says Christopher Ouizeman, a director of the ADHD Foundation.
He's noticed a different kind of clinic that's emerged to take advantage of the moment.
"An individual called a clinic, and they were told there's a three- to six-month waiting list, however, if they're prepared to pay $3,000, they can get pushed to the front of the queue.
"In some cases, there's just blatant price gouging and complete exploitation," he says.
Specialists in Australia can set their own fees, and there's no cap.
But unlike in most fields of medicine, adult ADHD patients are stuck in the private sector, because the public system rarely treats the condition except in children.
As a result, patients who might otherwise choose to wait longer for affordable care are being forced to choose between fees as high as $3,000, or no care at all.
The article goes over this in more detail. I’ll leave it down below for any of you who want to read it.

I would like to register my disappointment that turning on caps lock AND holding down the shift key does not make things more capital. It undoes capitalization. I am betrayed.

Hopefully, the use of all lower case letters is just a phase. Why pray tell are people typing in all lower case letters? Written communication and language are paramount to conveying thoughts and ideas. Syntax and grammar are essential to successful communication.
End of rant.

My brain is weird with capitalization, among other things, like obviously "tumblr" should be soft and lowercase, like a friend, while "Something Very Important" should be capitalized, and "Thing one and Thing two" should have capitalization for separation, and, of course, the good old "I AM YELLING".

This is really random, but I noticed that you sometimes capitalize West and west differently in the game. Is there a reason to that?
Hi, thanks for the question! Typically, I try to only capitalize when I'm talking about a specific region or location in the world of the game: when the characters say. "I'm from the West," they mean the western side of the Continent, across the Shield Peaks, and that is a common way of referring to it that everyone understands. When you meet someone in Haven and they say, "I came from the North," it's given that they're referring to what is understood as "the Frozen North," AKA the region above the Reach (around the areas of Luxue, Karzai, and etc.) rather than from somewhere just north of Haven, which could be anywhere from Lockwood to Thielwood to Ygrath, etc. It's the same as someone from the US referring to "the Midwest" or "the Southwest": when capitalized, it's because it's in reference to specific places or regions, and therefore it's a proper noun!
When it's not capitalized, it's typically about the general cardinal direction, not about a specific place, so if MC were telling someone directions to get to Chandry's shop, they'd say, "Go north, then turn right on Bomba Street, etc..." without the capital! Hope that makes sense!

Are you supposed to capitalize "zeitgeist" in English? It's a loanword from German, which would always capitalize it because it's a noun.

why are people on tumblr scared of proper capitalization? any time I see a text post it’s either in all uppercase or all lowercase, no in between

A friend who is older mused to me about an interaction with one of their younger colleagues. The colleague was upset because my friend was yelling at them in an email.
The phrase that was written too loudly?
"ASAP"
I'm imagining a contextual statement along the lines of "I need this ASAP."

(@wingsofachampion) Do you just want to be able to talk to Baikal again, or do you want him to physically be with you? I'm working on trying to figure out a way for the latter, but I think I have the former figured out! -Tropius
HI TROPS IM SORRY IT'S BEEN SO LONG-
Honestly even just talking with him would be nice. We got really close, and I know that some nights I wonder if he's ok. And I can at least hope that, if he wonders if I'm out there somewhere, that it can reassure him that I'm ok too.

Tumblr. Weirdest social media confirmed
Let's talk about Tumblr for a minute – that digital realm wHere logic takes a vacation and absurdity reigns supreme. Imagine if you stumbled upon a café where cats write poetry, pineapples debate Existentialism, and gravity was just a suggestion. That's the delightful chaos of Tumblr in a nutshell.
It's Like walking through a surreal art gallery where every exhibit is a different dimension of randomness. A heated discussion on the Proper way to eat a taco can turn into a profound debate on the Meaning of life. You can get people arguing over the verb tense in a fanfic, we're all just a bunch of intelligent-ish creative dumbasses, going through an Existential crisis.
