have you hiked in the Appalachians?

hiiiii <3 the answer is... yeah? i'm sure i HAVE dskhf

i live in georgia, i've certainly BEEN to the appalachians plenty of times. not just here but across probably most of the states they're in. and i've hiked in... a LOT of places (mostly due to geocaching, though also occasionally just for fun at my parents behest)

the only problem is that when i was younger, i never really paid attention to where exactly we were :') there are some i can name for sure; Cloudland Canyon, for instance, though thats not in the appalachians and also idk if stairs count as hiking?? though there are *googles it* 1200 steps one-way so maybe it does at that point idk it's a fond memory even as my whole family has vowed to never return (i will one day, probably). and also Elijah Clark state park. actually i'm pretty sure i've BEEN TO every (or at least almost every) state park in Georgia. and hiked in a lot of them too.

so tl;dr is yes, i am sure i've hiked in the appalachians, though i really don't remember it ;;;;; i should do it again

#im sorry this is so late and also such a non-answer answer dskhskdhg #and ik i've mentioned it before but my memory is really. bad. especially with things like exact locations and stuff that happened as a kid #/teen #so even though i know things DID happen i don't always actually... remember the experience #also don't mind the clouldland canyon rant in the middle there. i didn't know how many stairs there were except A FUCKTON #and googling it certainly. put that into perspective. 100 flights of stairs. that we had to descend (fine) and then ascend (horror story)#from what i can recall other than STAIRS though it was VERY pretty!!!!#but yes im sure i have hiked there but i could NOT give details on the experience.#i do remember parking there for a while with my dad on the drive to canada when i was 17 though #and watching the lightening and counting the seconds between the flash and the thunder to see how far off it was!!#OH i've also been to a lot of the mountains here in georgia in general. i DID go to camp on lookout mountain for 4 years after all #and my brothers both went to camp on rainey mountain so i've been there to drop them off #rip the place with the goats on the roof i can't remember if they were still open last time we drove by it #askers #cozy-fish-crow #shh ac

Ya know.... I really need to make the California Vacation happen this year. You know: 3 years into the plague, 3 years after its initial planned date... Come hell or high water, and I know we’ll be getting both.

Still aiming to end up at Sequoia/King’s Canyon NP, and since I’m planning on taking the Amtrak California Zephyr line, I’ll find myself in the bay area. Hopefully I’ll see some things in the area, and check out some redwoods before moving south.

I mean, I’ve never made it out to California yet and it’s high time I did. Been and done the east coast, it’s time to head properly west (once more!!!)

(Glacier National park is ALSO on the bucket list, and is even easier to access because I live a few miles from the Empire Builder Amtrak line)

YEP its such an awesome game im in love!!!!! the bugs are so silly indeed :333 and the backgrounds are so pretty its mind blowing omagad!!!! i rlly like all characters so far but probably the last stag most of them i love finding his stations in new locations n reading his impression of what these places used to be like in the past.... n overall his presence is rlly comforting in all those challenging environments hes like a grandpa :з also hornet seems rlly cool!!! but i havent met her that many times so i dont know much about her yet :>

I don't know what to do for her. She keeps fronting and every day is like the end of the goddamn world for her.

#🦋 mom speaks #most of the suicidal posts on this blog have been 🐅. shes been fronting a LOT now (probably protective since weve been in more pain lately)#but like. shes not coping with the medical shit at all. we try talking. she used to do good in therapy. but recently its just been hopeless.#its just that. the medical events are relentless. and they will never stop. and our degree of choice and agency never changes.#its pretty hopeless shit tbh #and on one hand its like “oh shes taking on all this trauma so host does have to” but its like. HOST WOULD NOT BE REACTING THIS STRONGLY TBH #shes hitting the body. self harming. plotting suicide All The Time. like i get that you dont wanna b here but gurl. leave??#idk what to do. i dont want to ban her from bodytime because weve been through shit like this and she was doing well!!#but now its like. can an alter be completely spent and stuck in place and unable to move forward? so you either integrate or replace them?#she has family here. canyon and cat would miss her. i would. shes so long standing and and and #but i cant like. idk. i cant get things under control. i need help. for once im welcoming advice in the comments tbh #actually traumagenic #system shit #did system
