FAQ:

difference between a closeup and a PFP?

a closeup is a zoomed in drawing where any composition, posing or extra elements are present, they can go from half the torso up Generally. while pfps are centered solely on a characters face and have no background beyond simple patterns, elements like "character holding something" could also be present and they dont add to the total

when exactly does the background start costing extra?

rough guidelines are written above in the picture, but I tend to be pretty lenient on them. if you ask for a drawing with a simple background (ie, Not payed) and I later ask if I want to add any details to it they will not add to the cost and you do not need to worry.

how long will this take?

depends on the drawing but it shouldn't take more than a couple of days once I've started working on it, that being said if there are commissioners in from of you in the line it could take longer for me to get to it. but I always try to get every commission done I'm at least one week

why is mercado pago argentina only?

mercado pago doesn't accept international transactions sadly and I am argentinian

can we negotiate the prices?

I consider my prices to be very low to begin with so no. however if you are from a country with a very high dollar price I might CONSIDER it cus I'm nice and all.

what does "obvious fetish content" mean?

it refers to drawings that might not include sex directly but alude directly to an sexual fetish or scenario, ie a girl being restricted by tentacles or someone being gagged and tied while naked. if your fetish is like, feet or smt then it's fine.

what does "predatory pairings" mean?

a pairing where the power imbalance is the main drawn for it. think teacher student relationships, cop / prisoner or similar dinamics. I'm simply not comfortable with it so I won't draw them.

why no background with the clean línes style?

i don't like how my backgrounds look without rendering and don't feel comfortable charging for them in that state

why no profile pic with Ms paint lineless?

the canvas size on those are pretty small and the style doesn't allow much detail, I don't think it'll look too good simply

Waaa! Hello there! Im glad you asked and Im willingly here to help you with that!

Although,Im not a really an expert for tutorials. So please bear with me with some grammatical errors qwq

long post ahead!

Okay,so here it is: I. Angles and shapes

First off,you need to determine his head angle. I used some angles from the existing pics of Fort Max from MTMTE for this owo When you do,try to make a basic shape. In other words,draw a box. So when you draw a box,it should be look like 3D-ish like my illustration above. Fortress Maximus has a very Square-shaped individual and his head shape could vary in some angles and may inconsistent. (my brain is not brainging atm)

II. Drawing For drawing,now I picked the 3/4 angle because it's easy,lol.

I started sketching his head with a circle first and then proceed to add the box shape. The top of his head is not completely flat,but more like curved. But it won't be neccessary later on,I think? (It's just my liking when sketching tho qwq). Then you see a shaded part so it looks like 3D-ish,and I added a jawline and neck.

Next,drawing his face and neck. It didn't go the way the base looks like,but you could overlap on some areas if you needed to (such as chin,jawline,forehead,etc..). Btw,you can use the lasso tool and transform tool to adjust the angle for you liking.

Then,you draw a slightly elevated angular square for his brim.(similar to this lego piece,lmao). Also,you can add his side thingy-stuff (ii have no idea what are those called). I preferrably draw those things angular,but you can draw it straight up a rectangle and more easier.

Then add that little thing in the middle like most every cybertronian have. Again,repeat the same "Slightly elevated angular square" but its now a triangle-rectangle hybrid.

Also,try to make it look like buried within the brim. (It still depends on you if you want it on top or look pushed down)

I erased some of his forehead and jawline. And Ta-Da! This looks cursed af,but we're getting there! Final step is to add his antlers or horns.

I finally added his horns/antlers! his horns/antlers could vary in shapes too! some examples seen on the lower right,but ive seen more than that!

keep in mind that to flip/mirror the canvas if you drawing those so you can be aware if it looks weird

Add that smol half square between his helm and antlers

and we're almost done! added some details too You can also add those "shadows" on his eyes,like in the idw comics. Max eyes looks a bit small and weird,but it can be fix by erasing some parts to make his eyes looks better.

Finallly...Done!

I made some few minor adjustments for my liking.

I hope you find this tutorial helpful,this is my first ever tutorial i made. It may not be 100% percent accurate,but you get some ideas. Also,I really appreaciate that you asked me for this and it makes me very happy!

In seriousness though I've tried in the past and way back when I was in school I could draw a bit but over time I kind of lost it, that and I fall into that same trap a lot of artists end up in where it becomes impossible to know what to do when presented with a blank canvas.

That last bit is of course a mental issue more than a skill issue, but that's the main reason why I moved more towards stuff like rom corruption which is similar to photography where you're choosing what to show the world rather than making it entirely from scratch.

Whether that distinction makes something more or less worthy of being called art is entirely up to the individual, and is something you can extend to any other form of expression including ai art. I know there's plenty of people out there who think that even the rom corruption stuff I've done isn't art and their opinion is as valid as anyone else's.

I just think this stuff is cool and I want to share it. 🤷‍♂️

So this account was only going to be used to reply/comment to other people's posts, but then CBS released new Nissac pics and this happened, instead.

Inspired by the photos from S04E07, and especially this one:

“– you don’t even like dinosaurs, you’ve never cared for them, and you know that I myself love dinosaurs dearly – just as much as you love your ants! So you see–”

“Take it.”

“I–you–what?” Isaac exclaims, unsure if he’d heard correctly.

Nigel sits very still and keeps staring straight ahead, not even glancing at Isaac beside him on the bench. 

“Just take the bed,” he repeats.

“What are you– After all the arguments and fights and squabbling, now you’re just letting me take it?” Isaac stares at Nigel’s profile, more than a little disbelieving. “Just like that?”

Nigel takes a deep breath. “Do you know why I even wanted it in the first place?”

Isaac frowns. “Petty revenge?” he guesses.

Nigel smiles thinly. 

“Perhaps,” he acknowledges. “Partly, at least. But no. That wasn’t the real reason.” 

He's silent for some time, and when he speaks again, his voice is so quiet that Isaac has to lean a little closer to hear him.

“When we were engaged,” Nigel begins, “we were unable to exchange rings. We had no tangible, physical evidence that we were – that what we had was –”

He cuts himself off there, pressing his lips together, as though forcing the words to remain inside his throat, unspoken and unheard.

“And I thought,” he continues eventually, “I thought the bed could become that for me. One that came too late, I know, but still. A keepsake, if you will, of… what we once had.”

Nigel turns to look at him, finally, but the expression on his face is utterly blank: the kind of look one would give a featureless wall, or an empty canvas, or a – a complete stranger, Isaac thinks, as he tries and fails to read something of Nigel’s thoughts there, and finds nothing at all.

“But it’s becoming clear to me now,” Nigel adds, “that what I thought we had... was not what we actually had, and so–” He stops suddenly, swallowing whatever it was that he was going to say. “What’s the point of a keepsake that signifies nothing?” he asks instead.

He smiles again, but it's an awful expression, one that reminds Isaac of the way Nigel looked at him right after the aborted wedding, when he'd tried to explain why he called it off and Nigel told him, eventually, that it was all right and he understood.

"Besides," Nigel adds now, still smiling that awful smile, "it's the perfect replacement for the new daybed you always wanted. Symbolic of something you love... and only sleeping one."

Isaac jerks back slightly, the unexpected reminder only sharpening the sting.

“So take the bed, Isaac," Nigel says. "Take whatever you want.”

Then he stands and walks away, and though his shoulders are visibly tense his steps don’t falter and he doesn’t look back, not even once. 

Isaac watches him go, until his figure disappears into the woods in the distance, and all at once he's struck by a strange sense of inevitability. That now, that hard-won bed will no longer remind him of fun little dinosaur facts or an afterlife-changing lapdance, but that it will forever remind him of this, instead: the sight of Nigel's red coat vanishing into the trees; Nigel never saying the actual word but the last thing he said still sounding very much like goodbye.

Isaac glances at the bed's box nearby, then looks back at the woods again. He's won the battle; the bed is his now. But for some reason, this doesn’t feel like a victory at all.

hmmm i will consider it. i did have my pink theme for a good three or four years whereas i think blacks only been around for maybe two, but i do miss the eyestrain of it all sometimes. i would have to also make new banners for my fics since my current ones would definitely clash with the whole pallet, but it might happen. some things are worth opening canva for.

For those wondering, my profile pic is Altaïr's skeletal remains.

I was forced to go to my younger sister's parent-teacher meeting and I was so bored I made this tumblr and thought it would be funny to add blush to Altaïr's skeleton and make it my profile pic instead of one of my cats that I usually used as my profile pic.

Signal sucks at her school btw so this quick edit took 15 minutes in Canva due to loading, uploading and downloading time.
