i search mismagius pictures frequently and just stumbled across cantatio and rize a year(?) ago. just randomly thought about asking lol. i use a male mismagius every gen myself. i love this species
I may have said this before but Mismagius is one of those gen iv designs that I never particularly disliked, but which took a while to grow on me. Don’t even remember why I decided to put it on my team, but now it’s a favorite. It’s somehow a hot mess and well put together at the same time and idk how it pulls that off but I support it.
I mean, bright pink AND purple?
Also... why is Mismagius one of those species that get treated as 100% female when like. It’s not? Is it because it’s a witch? Because it’s purple?? Idk. But I’m one of those people who reads the tags that get added to my art and there’s a handful of times people have just assumed Cantatio is female and I think it’s HILARIOUS.

I drew these a few months ago and never posted them.
These two are my favorite pair for double battles. Cantatio has a Bold nature, and knows Thunder Wave, Hex, Pain Split, and Dazzling Gleam. Since he’s got special moves covered, Froslass is more physical. Her name’s Rize and she knows Hail, Attract, Ice Fang, and Crunch.
