#for context uhmm how do i explain this #so around a few weeks after Jd arrives Bruce is like “Hey... where are the others?”#and Jd is like “ooooh 🤪🤪 he doesnt know...”#Since at this time JD believes that the entire tribe is dead. including his brothers and grandma #so Jd has to take Bruce to the now abandoned troll tree and give him the bad news #Bruce doesnt believe it at first. even if the tree is abandoned they cant be dead? right?? they cant be #so he rushes over to their grandma's pod. thinking that theyre just in hiding and waiting for them to return #and all Bruce is able to find in the empty pod is Branch's old stuffed toy Croco #which solidifies to Bruce that everyone is dead. their friends their family. everyone #Bruce is obviously devastated by the news. he doesnt show it a lot but he doesnt take it too well #he ends up bringing Croco with him back to Vacay Island and patches Croco up #since Croco is a bit worn out due to being left in the pod for years #and since then Bruce always keeps Croco hidden in his hair. both as a memoir of his baby brother #and also a reminder of how he failed as an older brother... ouch #ofc the others arent dead. its just that now both Jd AND Bruce believe that the rest of the trolls are dead #also King Trollex is there bc i wanted to put him there. thinking about the pure potential of lightbearer sickfics. they can be revived. they can be healed by their ghost. whoever's taking care of them KNOWS they'll be fine but just can't stand to see them like that. wonderful if they acknowledge that, equally wonderful and arguably more entertaining if they refuse to and act like it's dire when really... what is food poisoning/flu/etc to a guardian. they'll be fine and everyone involved knows it.

you know what just makes me really sad. i WANT to be excited about the karma music video. i WANT to be excited about her bringing ice spice on stage, about her singing GETAWAY CAR (my favourite rep song), about the new outfits and everything i loved about keeping up with the eras tour.

but i just cant. and maybe it’s parasocial but it genuinely feels like heartbreak as a poc swiftie that i just cant enjoy this woman’s music or content anymore that i used to absolutely love and get so excited about. i can’t get excited about the easter eggs for 1989 and rep TV or the stunning visuals in the music video. because i feel so betrayed and hurt that she’s throwing all this stuff at her fans to take the heat off her political inconsistency and white supremacist boyfriend. everyone’s already forgotten about holding her accountable because she dropped three new songs and a music video. i just also can’t get behind swifties villainising joe again and saying he’s worse than john mayer…more than matty healy.

the whiteness of this woman and her fandom have finally made me quit, and the worst part? she won’t care that she’s lost her poc fans. her white ones will continue eating up whatever she does and help her break record after record and become the billionaire she so clearly wants to be. she’ll still get her money and her clout, and her army of fans will harass anyone (including her) who points out her alarming flaws.

i cant get behind the hype anymore, and it feels like a real loss to me as someone who enjoyed taylor swift for fourteen whole years.

trying to add a scene into an old chap bc a specific plot thread has been bothering me for a while now but ITS SO HARD TO CHANGE SOMETHING THATS ALREADY PUBLISHED WITHOUT ENTIRELY REWRITING. my editing style is quite literally "if sucks, rewrite from scratch" which isnt useful rn. pain and suffering for ten thousand years

#tteote ch28 is gonna gain a scene fyi #just because. okay wait loredrop #tteote used to be one fic #that was gonna be like . 100k #then i had more ideas and i was like ok 200kish super long fic sounds good #then i wrote the “100k” bit and it ended up 200k #and i was like oh shit okay right i gotta make this two fics #which is fine bc the “100k” bit ends quite nicely as its own thing (this mission specifically #vs The Bigger War is a good way to divide it)#BUT THAT MEANS #that some ominous character interactions #will not be resolved in this fic #like you wont find out what i hinted at until next fic #and thats probably like a year away bc i gotta actually write it lol #so ive gotta have those characters turn up again or it'll just looklike a loose end i abandoned for no reason. if that makes sense #the more i think abt it the more annoyed i am that theyre two fics because some of the tiny minor side characters in tteote #get fun roles in fic 2 #bUT i cant recombine them bc the ending works so well now #so you'll all have to be patient #sorry for that LONG ASS CONTEXT RAMBLE #but yea im adding kaneko back into ch28 bc i made him sooo ominous then just abandoned him #so. that'll drop along with ch32 #im hoping #wish me luck #tteote

#alfpost #OKAY SO. context. theres two things im looking at to grab in and fill what i believe is a critical lack of something in a niche #1. the only warriors heritage posts blog i could find has like. 2 posts on it and doesnt seem active. we can do better #2. ghost trick deserves one and i cant find any which is fuckign strange considering anything made in that tag gets passed around like a #bouncy ball by everyone it looks like. kinda like how the flight rising tumblrsphere works from what ive observed #but the problem with option 1 is that. theres so many fucking warriors posts i will be Buried. and since warriors is so big #itll be hard to be recognised as any sort of 'official' (as in semi respected and not just some rando) heritage posts blog for a while #while for ghost trick since it hasnt been around in my life as long as warriors theres always the risk that i will get tired of it for at #least a little while and i wish not to keep the people in waiting if the blog goes inactive #do ya understand?
