I swear this was a theme in that old LE Modesitt Jr series "Magic Of Recluce". My husband was reading it when we met at the end of the 90s. He said it's like technical manuals for building a radio except it's white magic (chaos) and black magic (order) and there are scenes explaining how a regular person can manipulate their own electromagnetic field and access energy that would essentially be magic.

because of this most dark mages tend to work in very brightly-lit areas (either artificial light or outside in the daytime) to fuel their spells and wear and use lightly coloured clothes and tools so that they’re easier to see in the dimness their spells create, whereas light mages wear heavy, sometimes leaden robes (depending on the work being done) and the magical equivalent of welding masks to protect themselves from what can be an extreme amount of light, and sometimes other kinds of electromagnet radiation!

needless to say this is incredibly confusing for anyone unfamiliar with the culture

State legalization bill passed!!!!! We are good to grow!

After months of planning and waiting, I finally ordered my very first seeds aaahhh yaaaayy!!! MANGO KUSH!!! I kinda wanted to try Tropicana Cookies, which sounds amazing for ADHD, but I figured that might be too hard to grow (and consume, it's pretty strong) so I went with my gut. Never met a mango I didn't like, and this is a good hybrid strain with great medical uses.

These won't be auto-flower, since the seed bank I had a coupon for doesn't have an auto version, but for a photo-period, Mango Kush is supposed to be easy to grow even for first-timers.

Can't wait to nurture my lovely magical girls to full flower 😍

I was watching Rick And Morty S3E10 just as the 40 mg edible kicked in. My eyes were closed. As I heard the voice of the US President, I didn't visualize the show like I usually do. My Xennial brain on chemical immediately gave me Goliath.
