Meet Julier, Cherry and Piper, our protagonists for the first little arc of my candy world project!

During a years long war against the Hard Candy Kingdom, young Prince Julier of Gummy Kingdom is caught in a conspiracy that just might unravel the reason for this conflict, and who is really pulling the strings

Julier Haribo: A gumdrop candy prince who feels like he doesnt help as much in the war as his siblings. Kinda bratty. Insecure During a fight with his sister, He storms off with his entourage. Hes attacked on route, his men killed and he left for dead.

Cherry, a jolly rancher, shes was a hard solider who left the army due to her not agreeing with its actions. Hard headed and bold. She’s blunt and serious, though much more soft hearted then she would like. On the road she comes across an overturned carriage and several dead bodies. While she’s looting anything useful off of them, she discovers that the Prince is alive. Against her better judgement she drags him to safety and patches him up the best she can

Piper, a white chocolate farmer who lived on the outskirts of its county. She’s soft spoken and level headed. Positive under pressure and a pretty damn good shot. She’s lonely on the farm without her siblings, feeling abandoned. She’s out working the field one day when she comes across a hard candy solider carrying an injured gumdrop on her back. Not one to turn away strangers, she offers them shelter and medical help. While she treating the gumdrop, they’re suddenly attacked by an unknown party and forced to flee. She now travels with them.

After multiple close calls with both armies, as well as mysterious other, the trio eventually come across and joins the rebellion against the war. Hopefully to stop it once and forever

Super excited for this! After posting ALL OF THAT ART to make up for not posting here for a FAT AMOUNT OF YEARS. I can finally show you guys some more stuff I’m working on for personal projects! So I’ve been redesigning some characters and making new ones for this series I wanna make. Whether it’s a comic or animated OR BOTH I have no clue, we’ll see! So Chicle used to be known as Taffida back when I was in college and I said fuck it, I wanna incorporate more of my Latino culture and now I’m EXTRA excited. This is just an expression sheet but I can’t wait to show more of the world that I’m making entirely from scratch!

Tonycane

In a world where most people you meet are prone to paint your entire body or yell at the top of their lungs for no reason, Tonycane is a breath of fresh air. He's the nicest candy person in the whole land, and probably of all lands; helpful, symphatetic and always with a smile in his face. Unfortunately he's also somewhat naive and manipulable, and sometimes people take advantage of that, like Cucarancia. Yet, he considers both Morwald and Cucarancia his best friends, but loves his group of friends equally. You'll find him relaxing with activities like birdwatching, playing the flute or eating a veggie burger at Don MacDhal's

Heyo, another of my original characters. I believe that with every cartoon that features an insane world full of funny yet undesirable characters, you need at least one whose mind isn't a bunch of drugs and sex. It's also fun to make an innocent character interact with a jerk one

Probably you don't remember this guy (he appeared in the 10 followers post and the last Morwadventures comic), but I made an update on his design, like his head, his arms are longer and his clothes are different. I left the dot eyes because they make the character more adorable

Mermay Day 3: Stars

This is Prima, a character from a candy au on instagram called Sweet vs Sour. I actually have several sour ocs (which have star themes) but I hadnt done her before for the mermay challenge.

Tbh I adore how it came out. There's something really nice with how the markers ended up laying. Prima is also just Very pretty. Like she's different to a lot of my characters, so it was fun to draw her.

since Eng is getting 7.5 soon(?), I felt motivated to go back to my Meleanor rig and make her a couple of lesson animations! ...except for alchemy, because the cauldron bubbles proved too hard to photoshop around, whoops.

maybe she just got lost on her way to the classroom...?

Morwadventures: Absence

Another comic of my character dealing with other characters

Apart from Morwald, Calamity and the others, I have these characters. And the that thing from the comic is true, this past 2022 I barely used them. Mostly because I was so focused with the Calamity comic, I only used them like twice and only in little doodles this last year. You can understand why they're so mad

But yeah these guys are supposed to be friends of Morwald (the character lel) and main characters of his series, I'll try to draw more things with them now that I finally finished the comic with Calamity's introduction

The bug-like one is Cucarancia, the candy cane is Tonycane, the flying fox/bat girl is Vampirania and the fairy is Cynthia. I'll introduce them properly soon, but probably you get an idea of their personalities

Ah yeah, another oddity about Morwald and other characters from his series (except for Tocoyo's dog) is that they can revive if they die, so don't worry, he'll be fine haha
