After doing this past drawing of Godzilla's 70th anniversary, I wanted to do another one, but with characters inspired by him, but I left it for later

I added characters that in one way or another were inspired by Godzilla, but are their own thing. To avoid drawing collabs or direct parodies of Godzilla (you know, infinite stuff xp)

I wanted to add Lizzie from Rampage, but according to interviews she was inspired by Ymir from 20 Million Miles from Earth, so I discarded the idea. I also found out that there is a Digimon called Dinomon, but it was too late :/

Anyway, I'm glad with the result, it was a fun drawing. And a good excuse to draw Godzilla since they're doing sequels for Godzilla Minus One and Godzilla x Kong :D

I really wanted to draw with that face from the third panel haha. Morwald (not me, the character) is an artist, yet not a good one, and it's not because I think my drawings are ugly, I just found it funny/ironic

But for the sake of the joke, he only knows how to draw dragons

I wanted to get away from relatable or strawman comics, but I guess doing one doesn't hurt anyone. And I didn't know that I wasn't the only one who did this with traditional stuff lmao

When I was a kid, my grandparents had encyclopedias with Peanuts characters, they were educational, but I think I paid more attention to the characters lol

I don’t really consider Peanuts as my childhood, but I found the comics sympathetic. It’s quite interesting how massive it’s the franchise, from normal things like comics, books, plushies, even that movie, to being associated with NASA. I would also mention MetLife, but they stopped using Snoopy a long time ago, still counts xp. And of course, the millions of references in different media, especially the Peanuts dance

Curious how Charles Schulz didn’t liked the name “Peanuts”, and preferred to call his comics Charlie Brown, Snoopy, or both as titles. I know it’s because of the “peanut gallery” thing, but it’s still understandable, like, where are the peanuts xp

trying to draw a bunch of my characters throughout the entire year these are the first four, considered the "main characters" of their respective worlds

01: Fuzzball is a bright green hairy creature with a long tail, wearing nothing but a bandana and blue shoes. He has multiple other hairy friends and is constantly on the run from a number of villains who want to capture him. 02: Brady is a kid with a square head, square glasses, a braid and a shirt with a big blue stripe. He's the new kid in town and is still adjusting to all the chaos it holds. 03: Gumdrop is a pink fish piloting a humanoid mech suit that holds water in the chest. She is a scientist who designed the suit so she can observe and live among other "air-breathing animals." 04: Chris Spectre in their human form has long dark blue hair that covers their left eye and a neon green ghost logo on the shirt. They live in a world where humans and monsters coexist, and is possibly the only being that happens to be both human and ghost.

Here is a compilation of various creepypasta characters that I drew some days ago

When I was younger in the early 2010s, I heard these stories and naturally they scared me. Over time, you realize that it wasn't that bad and you grow fond of them. They’re like the evolution of myths and urban legends. It's fun to listen to them while I'm drawing

I had already seen drawings with several of these characters, but I wanted to make a kind of bestiary with the monsters and entities from these stories, both classic ones like Slenderman or modern ones like the Backrooms. I missed a lot, but maybe I'll do a second part, (but I won't draw all the SCPs or all the Jeff the killer derivatives xp)

I don’t usually draw Morwald outside of his house yes, that white void is inside his house (because I’m too lazy to draw backgrounds lol) so here is a glimpse of the place where he lives, Morwaland. The name is mere coincidence, he doesn’t own the place

Morwald still has to get used to it, unlike Cucaracia who rarely questions things and rarely thinks

I think I put more effort into the shading than I planned, it was supposed to be something simple haha, it was still interesting
