Avocado and Rosewater Sorbet

1/2 cup rosewater

1/4 cup honey

More about Marie.

- Adores comics and is making her own fan webcomic on the side focusing on a series she loves. She’s a regular patron at The Tome Tomb.

- Marie’s part of Tempo’s culinary shop union. Specifically, she and other businesses / shops working with and selling food have formed an official group to support each other. Organizing shared events, fair prices, fair wages, mutual advertisement, finding local and reliable suppliers, working out menus, etc.

She was a nervous wreck the first time she attended. All of the other members were older and more experienced than her, and what could she bring to Tempo with her ice cream that wasn’t already covered by the Pepper’s restaurant?

She had an anxiety attac in the middle of the meeting and excused herself to the bathroom. Felt like she had made a huge mistake and embarrassed herself. Mr. and Mrs. Pepper went looking for and comforted her.

Once calm and returning to the meeting, the other members agreed that everything was okay. She was only in her early twenties and new at this thing. They didn’t linger on this, to remove the attention from Marie, and gave a short explanation how their union worked.

- Pepper Paradiso has milkshakes but their speciality are dishes balancing sweetness and spice.

Pinkies sells ice cream scoops over the counter. But their speciality is special menu focusing on ice cream bowls / sundaes with a pink theme, with all shades that can be worked into the sweets as the main color. This also goes for some shades of purple. Other colors / flavors are used for contrast.

There’s a lot of heart-shaped things because of the association with the color - bowls, sprinkles, silly straws, sometimes the ice creams and sorbets. For Halloween, Pinkies once made an ice cream cake that looked like a human heart for a customer’s party.

There’s the Flamingo Sundae, served in a high glass bowl. One scoop of strawberry, raspberry, dragonfruit, and cherry ice cream each, with a pink candy cane shaped to look like the neck and the head of a flamingo. It’s topped with a candied cherry and generous drizzles of strawberry syrup. The candy cane is self made.

Tangent on Halloween:

Marie has a good eye for design and color coordination. She and her three employees who make the sundae have worked out at least two special recurring bowls for Halloween that are wholly in the spirit of spooky things and very pink still. (One is a sundae that evokes a human brain.)

Recently, Lewis has requested a special ice cream cake for his birthday. Or rather, Vivi and Arthur have. He’s still recovering from his accident and bout of amnesia and needs a little bit of comfort.

He’s begun designing these cute little ghost whisps in magenta, pink, and violet, with yellow hearts on their chests. Pinkies is asked to make an ice cream cake in the shape of one of these “Deadbeats”, with some references to music.

Pumpkin Apple Room Spray: one of my favorite scents ever, and a fall staple! i had to get a room spray of this since they didn’t have it when i tried to this past fall. it’s a warm pumpkin and apple and my favorite scent as far as candles go at Bath & Body Works! 🎃🍎

Strawberry Snowflakes Hand Soap: grabbed this hand soap to use in february for Valentine’s Day. i think it would make a great scent for that. if you’re curious about the scent check out my previous post!

Love Always Wins Candle: i do really love this scent for summer and never got it in the candle! the packaging is also so cute for Pride Month! if you’re unfamiliar with the scent it has sangria fruitiness to it with an ocean-woodsy note as well🌈🏳️‍🌈

Summer Melody Dry Shampoo: i’ve been looking for a new dry shampoo lately so i decided to give this a try and it’s fantastic ! i’ll probably make another post to talk about it in full. the scent is honeydew and vanilla and it has a very warm sandy vibe to it 🌞

Sun Ripened Raspberry: i had to get this for my mom, she used it when i was a kid so one SAS i got her one. she said it was good but she wasn’t crazy about it but then used the whole bottle in less than a year! guess she liked it more than she remembered 😂 it’s a sweet and perfumey raspberry scent and a classic but retired scent at Bath & Body Works ❣️

Forever Red: i have been obsessed with this scent since eighth grade when it came out for the first time. it’s a sophisticated night-out type scent but softer than the other scents i describe that way. the pomegranate and floral scents are most prominent but it has a rum and oak that give it a sultry vibe as well. 💋

Bright Christmas Morning: was bummed to not get this one in the body spray but it was sold out when i got there so i grabbed it in the lotion. they really did well capturing the scent of the home fragrance in a body care with this one. it’s fruity but keeps the holiday vibe to it. the blood orange note shines through and it’s amazing 🍊🎄

Black Tie: this one is definitely cologney and sophisticated. a night-out scent for sure as well. the sage gives it an almost aromatherapy vibe on the dry down 🤵🏼‍♀️

Winter Cherry Blossom: if you’re looking for a Japanese Cherry Blossom adjacent scent, this isn’t it. i’ve heard this one is like a winter spin on Cherry Blossom. it’s very old-timey perfumey, with a wintery floral scent. 🌸❄️

Sapphire Moon: this one is much more bright than the spray, the pear shines through more than the other notes 🌕

Pink Lily & Bamboo: this one was on my list with a question mark for SAS but as soon as i smelled it i knew i had to get it! it has the same bright floral vibe as Candied Violet Sorbet, with a strong bamboo underlying that gives it a truly planty scent. i love it and can’t wait to use it this spring and summer 💐🎋

Sport: my lovely partner picked out one thing for himself throughout the whole store! i had a feeling he’d like this one though. it’s citrus and mint with woodsy undertones on the dry-down 🍋🍊🏀

Winter Candy Apple: a holiday staple, and mine is about gone! it’s a fruity floral, but the cinnamon gives it a spicy holiday feel. 🍎

Wrapped in Vanilla: my Blush Cardigan obsession led me to ignore this one initially, but it’s very nice. if you want just a straight-up toasty vanilla creamy scent this is the one for you! 🍨

Coffee & Whiskey: picked up a backup, because i’m obsessed. it’s the perfect spiked coffee scent and half of my family is obsessed with it as well! ☕️🥃

Brown Sugar & Fig: a staple in my collection and my body cream was running low. this is a retired scent from Bath & Body Works that i grew up using from my moms collection when i was young! it’s a favorite of mine in the fall. it’s a warm sugary scent with notes of fig, coconut milk, and brown sugar 🍂

Blackberry & Basil: this one was sold out in the body spray as well which was a bummer but at least i got it in the cream! it’s a little different from the hand sanitizer that comes out in the fall, with a more floral, herby vibe to it but still has a sweet blackberry note! 🌿

in La Squadra: Risotto is a sugar plum, Formaggio is a classic red peppermint disk, Melone is a grape lollipop fairy, Ghiaccio is a blue raspberry sherbert, Pesci is gingerbread, Prosciutto is chocolate liqueur, Illuso is red licorice, and Sorbet and Gelato are truffles (specifically espresso and honey caramel respectfully)

in Bucci Gang: Bruno is a fig cookie, Leone is a raspberry thumbprint cookie, Guido is peanut butter cups, Narancia is sour orange wedges, Fugo is strawberry creme savers, and Giorno is plum milk candy (specifically kasugai brand bc that shit slaps)

In Unita: Tiziano is Champagne chocolate and Squalo is cherry cordials. Cioccolata is cinnamon disks and Secco is butterscotch disks. Carne is dark chocolate covered cashews. Funny Valentine is the president of Peanut Desert and he's represented by chocolate peanut butter cookies, Johnny is peanut brittle, Gyro is peanut butter balls, Hot pants is white chocolate peanut butter bonbons, and Diego is milk chocolate peanuts...There are others who represent different nuts and such in the peanut desert. Such as Lucy being almond joy and blackmore being jelly-filled dark chocolate.

Josuke (4) is chocolate daifuku ice cream, since tomoko is mochi. Okuyasu is konpeito, Koichi is a gingerbread cookie, Yukako is creme brulee, Rohan is sour lime candy, Reimi is something called a 'Princess tarta' and Kira would be white rabbit candy

Definitely too warm more often. Especially at night and I can’t sleep when it’s too hot in the room.

I was laying in bed and talked with my mum.

Kinder Bueno or Prince Polo. And I love Reese’s but we have limited access to it in Poland 😭

Yeah, when I was in US my friends took me to baseball game. The most boring experience of my life 😂😂😂.

“Okay” to my mum when she told me she left fruits for me in the kitchen.

Nah, only sometimes when I’m in restaurant or when I get soda at fast food place.

Not really. I passed my exam 11 years ago but didn’t really drive and now I’m coming back to it so I’m really careful when I’m driving because it was really long hiatus. So I usually stay in speed limit because I feel safer, I don’t like driving fast.

Losing my mum or my best friend. And right now - getting Covid symptoms, sometimes my job.
