EXACTLY! Before: I was thinking of naming my oc Taryn (meaning: born of the earth/ a reference to house Tyrell). I was thinking her last name would be Tyrell because my oc Maren Tyrell was beloved by his family (especially his mother Olenna and his brother Mace, who saw him as a role model). So when Maren left with Tulyp Tully because Olenna disapproved of their relationship, it simply broke Olenna's heart because Maren was her favorite son (her firstborn, like Cersei said LMAO). Mace, as I mentioned before who was very close to his older brother was heir to House Tyrell, so he took the " bother" to give her the last name Tyrell, and because of the pain of the flight of his brother who the Tyrell see it as treason, they simply let Taryn go with Catelyn Tully and that Taryn does not possess relevant position with respect to the Paternal House. Although I want to clarify that Maren Tyrell and Tullyp Tully did marry, probably to the rift between Dorne and the Free Cities. One plot twist I wanted to add: is that Maren is not a Tyrell by blood, remember the conversation between Olenna and Margaery about her Targaryen fiancé, let's just say it happened more than an introduction. So Maren would be a Targaryen in disguise (he has classic Tyrell curly brown hair and green eyes like his mother Olenna, but few notice that there are like "violet sparkles" in his eyes). But since Olenna got pregnant soon after with Luthor, no one knew about it. Taryn is cunning, trained in weapons because well…she's a cousin who comes from somewhere else, so who cares if a non-Stark maiden practices defense? She's a bookworm like Tyrion, and Catelyn and Ned were planning on taking up Taryn Tyrell's titles so she could marry Robb Stark and thus, add up the connections. Now with the ideas you gave me: Hoster Tully was extremely stubborn as mentioned in the books, his daughter Tullyp (my OC) is too, Hoster's character with Tullyp/Catelyn is much closer than Lysa's who was more timid. So probably, Hoster willingly or unwillingly would have had Tullyp take the Tully last name (although like the sexist rules of Westeros, it would be unlikely). And YES, the Petyr Baelish/Taryn Tyrell romantic relationship would be extremely complex.

Despite being a Slytherin, as I can see Taryn would be perfectly, she has been raised by the honorable Ned Stark and not to mention her aunt Catelyn Tully who has the Tully motto tattooed on her: family, duty, honor. Catching feelings for Petyr Baelish, it feels wrong. He's not supposed to be the type of man her Tully family (Hoster, Bryden, her Uncle Edmure or her mother figure, her Aunt Catelyn) would approve of. She likes to feel that attraction and the snake-like twinkle in Petyr's eyes when they both start talking about something trivial and it ends up being almost philosophical.

Actually, Taryn Tyrell has short curly red hair (short because it's more practical for fighting), violet-green eyes like her father with a slight blue heterochromia (by descent to her Tullyp mother), stocky arms, athletic legs, shorter than her cousin and best friend Sansa, haha). Taryn after the death of her beloved Uncle Ned, realizes she is surrounded by snakes and begs Petyr to protect Sansa, and that's when Petyr smiles in pleasure at the power he has. Events happen, Taryn Tyrell gets more prominence because of her Tyrell and Tully ancestry, and she becomes engaged to Tyrion Lannister.

About Tyrion Lannister, when he finally returns to King's Landing as the hand of the king. It's sympathetic, but like show! Tyrion is distant with his betrothed, which would be Taryn because she gains more influence from the war. Petyr knows that if those two get together (in the most innocent sense of friendship), his "control" over Taryn would be completely lost, so like the cunning mf that he is, he avoids any time when Tyrion and Taryn can deepen their relationship. Taryn is able to (half-heartedly) understand Petyr Baelish, she knows he is dangerous but has no one else to trust. So with her Tyrell charm, she tries to pretend she is a "little dove" to gain more power and influence and get the hell out of King's Landing with Sansa.

Can you give me ideas about the fate of my OC Tyrell? On the other hand, we have the stubborn young firstborn girl like her father Hoster Tully, Tulyp Tully, with long red hair like a river and blue eyes like a lake. She rebelled against her father and married Maren Tyrell, who abandoned his titles as Tyrell to be with Tully, marrying in Essos. They had a daughter, let's call her Taryn for now. Shortly after they die in mysterious circumstances, the Tyrells simply give her the family name but leave her to her own fate. Catelyn who always admired her older sister, Tulyp, decides to take Taryn to Winterfell as a kind of revenge for the arrival of Jon Snow and to have more connection with her dead sister. Taryn is the reassuring one of the family, she knows about literature and romance, being thus the best friend of her cousin Sansa and is allowed to train with swords, making her close to her other cousin Arya. When Ned agrees to be the king's hand, Petyr Baelish finds himself intrigued by her, gradually realizing that it is not because of her status as a noblewoman, but because of her personality as Taryn that she is INTJ.

Ok, first I think that she won't have the surname of house Tyrell, because not only his father lost his titles and right to his family name for marrying her mother, but also she is a bastard ( the marriage is not legitimize by a priest of the seven), so her surname would be "flower", that is the surname that the bastards of house Tyrell have. Maybeee if you want her to have a noble surname, it will be Tully, because I think Hoster will be more likely to have some appreciation for the girl because of its love for his first child ( idk much about Hoster Tully personality, so I don't know for sure what he would do in this situation, but for the convenience of the plot I will do it like this), nevertheless he have to send a request to the king to legitimize a bastard ( a over complicated task if you ask me).

About the whole thing with Catelyn, I thought at first that she could pass as Catelyn child/bastard, but i immediately discard it because it will go against the character devoted wife that we see in the books. So, Ned will obviously now all about Taryn's parentage and will help Catering raise her as one of her children wink wink ( I think anyone, even Taryn, not knowing her real parentage will be a huge plot twist hehe). You can choose one of this two if you like (bastard/ Catelyn and Ned false child), obviously this is all my opinion and im not trying to impose.

Knowing a little about the personality of Taryn by what you're telling me, the relationship with Petyr will be a long slow burn/ enemies to lovers troupe type of relationship, because I don't think she is an innocent dove like Sansa, so she would realize the intentions of Petyr right away (having feelings for Petyr will create a GREAT internal conflict between her moral sense and her feelings). In this case, Peter at first will have a weird obsession with her because of how similar she is to Catelyn (idk If you intend her and her aunt to be physically similar), but then when the truth is revealed about her true parentage and also getting to know her and seeing that she is the opposite of what Catelyn is, things will change, he would no more see her as an extension of her crush but as a individual person aside from Catelyn.

Comencé a seguirte por tus retratos Targaryen y me quedé porque cada pieza que subes me fascina más. Me *encanta* tu estilo, es realmente increíble para una persona que no se dedica profesionalmente al arte. Admiro muchísimo el esfuerzo y dedicación a tu pasión que hay detrás de todo ello.

Dos preguntas:

1. ¿Cómo conociste Canción de Hielo y Fuego? ¿Primero el universo audiovisual y luego los libros o al revés? Pura curiosidad.

2. ¿Sueles dibujar/pintar algo que no sean retratos? (paisajes, objetos, mapas... Y me refiero en general, no necesariamente de fanart) ¿Te planteas subir algo así al tumblr?

Conocí asoiaf por medio de la serie, creo que game of thrones iba por su cuarta temporada en es entonces jejeje después me puse a leer los libros y me enamoré más de este universo.

Ahora que lo pienso, lo que más pinto son retratos. No salgo mucho de la figura humana porque, además de ser lo que más me interesa, es lo que mejor se me da, pero la verdad creo que debería intentar algo nuevo.
