Skeleton Crew - Can’t Say I Remember No At Attin Thoughts
"Perhaps someday, when I am leader of the Triok, I will remember your ways. I see now. You weakness...it makes you kind. And my world could use some kindness." Hayna
This was a pretty noice follow-up to the last episode. It was a lot more focused on the character interactions as home seems to be ever far away.
Those satellites at the opening look very much like the ones used for Operation Cinder. Given some of the Imperial-looking uniforms (especially the Imperial Army Trooper helmets) in the episode and the destruction of the world, I wouldn't be surprised if that's the case. But Jesus, if their world was destroyed by Operation Cinder, that's one hell of a dark backstory for At Achrann. Especially given how Jod even said,
"This is At Attin? It tastes like ashy dust. Looks a lot like my home planet, actually." Jod Na Nawood
It has to be Operation Cinder unless the satellites are part of a similar barrier system (or the world could've been hidden by different methods). I also wonder how bad Jod's world must've been for him to make that comparison. I can't wait for that Episode 7 Jod lore.
Jod's "kill me" look and line delivery just killed me. He's so sick of this BS now lmao. I honestly thought he and SM-33 kicked all their asses but it just turned out he just gave them Old Republic credits haha.
Also very interesting that the Hattan army seems to have a CIS tank as well alongside the Imperial Army Trooper helmets. The world must've been destroyed and known to the galaxy for quite for some time by that point.
Neel is pretty brutally honest about his friends, lmao. I love seeing his kindness shine through in such a hellish, war-torn world. I also like seeing his brief friendship and relationship with Hayna, who only knew war and nothing of a possible peaceful life. Plus unlike the girl he had a crush on in Episode 1, she actually knows who he is. Given how Episode 3 focused a lot on KB and this episode on Neel, I wonder if Episode 5 will focus on Fern and Episode 6 will focus on Wim.
It's pretty sad how the Triok and Hattan are stuck in a forever war and only trading for weapons, especially given the implications of the world being a victim of Operation Cinder. The idea of child soldiers being normalized in the world is pretty disturbing much less how desertion is met with death even applied to kids. I still find it insane to see on-screen aftermath of Operation Cinder in this episode, especially on this show.
I also like how we see that for all of Fern's tough front, and she's just as scared of being truly lost forever.
SM-33 continues to be a comedic riot even when we see him being terrifying. God, when SM-33 was remembering his old Captain's orders and his voice started distorting into a nightmarish tone, that was pretty chilling. I would like it if the treasure was actually a legit stereotypical pirate's treasure.
This was a noice follow-up episode and I hope Episode 5 continues to expand on the mystery of At Attin.
"I do remember At Attin. It was in this very room. The captain killed any of his crew that saw the coordinates to At Attin. Slaughtered them, he did. Then he ordered me to destroy them and forget everything I knew about At Attin. And then he told me, if anyone ever comes around poking around, looking for the treasure... He told me to pull them apart. Pull 'em apart. Pull 'em apart. Pull 'em apart. Limb from limb. Limb from limb. Limb from limb! Limb from limb! Limb from limb! Limb from Limb." SM-33

So I watched Skeleton Crew
AND I LOVE IT
LIKE
PIRATES
It's so much cooler than I thought it would be. I love the main four and there's so much to find and figure out especially with Jod.
And of course the music slaps. More spoilery things under cut (for all 6 current released episodes)
Ok first off I love KB, she's my favorite. (She's autism coded ngl)
Also KB lore drop in episode 6??? Like girl what was the accident?
ALSO WHAT THERES ONLY TWO MORE EPISODES IN S1???
Ngl it kinda bothered me how they didn't pronounce the T's in At Attin.
Ah yes. Jod, Silvo, who is this guy?? (Also i know they mention Silvo in the first ep but I can't for the life of me remember what that bit was about.)
HE SAID THE QUI-GON QUOTE your focus determines your reality LIKE WHAT
Also they've used "kriffing" twice now and that makes me really happy. It is part of my daily vocabulary and I even heard one of my best friends say it and j was like what (i think all she knows is that it's a star wars cuss word) ANYWAYS
I need Jod backstory like now. He's a Force user, and he knew the Qui-Gon quote, and he has a lightsaber, but how did he get to where he is in the show I NEED ANSWERS
Speaking of backstories I also need full KB backstory. I love how she has two moms. Also what the kriff happened to Wim's mom? It seems like with such a perfect (too perfect) society she'd still be alive, especially since it seems KB had a terrible accident yet she was saved by technology. So what about Wim's mom?
And I also love how determined the parents are to break the rules for their kids, it's adorable. Also who the kriff is the Supervisor. Watch it be like the Red- something pirate dude (I'm kidding)
Speaking of the pirate dude (cannot remember his name rn) how long ago was that ship crashed? Cuz like Jod knows about him, but there was also a whole lot of growth over the ship? Granted Jod could have just heard and read about him not actually seen him. Idk.
Yas Neel you preach peace to the whoever clan they are, with Hayna or whatever her name was (why can't I remember). He's so precious.
Wim's name is so silly I love it. He's a silly little guy i love him.
Fern is such a character oh my gosh. At first I didn't like her but with the character development I'm liking her more and more.
Also (last point) At Attin is way sus. Too perfect. Actually all the At planets are sus (once again I need backstory). Also the beginning episodes didn't really feel like Star Wars, especially the like suburbia bits and stuff.
Anyways yea i think Skeleton Crew's really cool, better than I was expecting. I really like the piratey music, though they do lean a little too hard into the aesthetic to feel completely like Star Wars, in my opinion. However it's unique, so.

Skeleton Crew S1E4:
Title made me laugh ngl (I read it in his voice)
Did not expect the episode to begin with them finding At Attin, but okay.
They are in so much trouble lmao.
Plot twist: Silvo's actually from At Attin and he doesn't know it.
"Onto the ship. Don't make me count." SM-33 is really just a parent in disguise.
I don't think it's occurred to them that maybe they landed in an uninhabited area? Like, maybe on the wrong side of the planet or something?
LMAO, the kids were right, this is a different planet. That's funny. Knew it was too good to be true.
Okay, Mr. "Can't say I remember no At Attin." WHY ARE YOU LYING.
At Achran is giving me viking/medieval vibes.
Eopies :D With horns!
I love the Troik accent.
"Ah, but only this world, we treat our children as adults." Yeah, kinda figured that when there were two kids showing up in a warzone talking about enemy patrols.
Hayna's badass btw.
Not sure how I feel about Strix yet. He's…interesting.
It's hilarious how Silvo & SM-33 keep treating each other like children and the actual children like adults.
"Just shoot me." Lmfao, man's given up already.
Wait, is At Achrann really a clone of At Attin? Because Neel seems very confident with the layout of the city.
It's really interesting seeing Neel & Hayna's heart-to-heart about about their different cultures. I love how people from such different ways of life can get along.
Wim lifting a gun that weighs as much as he does lol
The way they didn't even give them armor smh
Okay, yeah, Strix is…not great. I petition for Hayna to replace him.
Hayna volunteering to go with them because she recognizes that this isn't something they know how to do like she does, that they don't have that same type of courage. She should totally be in charge one day, with empathy like that. She'd make a great leader.
…..How did Silvo and SM-33 manage that???????
Silvo requesting the kids back as his reward for returning the eopies is great. Except there's probably a catch.
HE ROBBED A KID. I mean……at least he used those credits for a good cause, but wtf, man. You're not helping them decide whether you're trustworthy or not lol.
Oh…….yeah, okay. They've known each other for like a day (not even), but sure. Good for you, Neel.
At Aytuu, At Achrann, At Arissia, At Aravin, At Acoda, At Attin…Why do they all start with double "A"s?
Rip coordinates.
??????????????????
HE'S BEEN THERE?
Holy shit, his memory is fucked. Or he's playing them hard.
He broke Fern.
Fern & Wim 😭
FERN, YOU GENIUS.
SM-33's old captain sucked…
FERN. CAN YOU UNDO THAT PLEASE.
THANK GOD FOR THAT. Legit never thought I'd be glad droids can be powered down.
Anyway, I think we're all thoroughly traumatized now. I knew something was off about SM-33, but wow. That was not what I expected from my silly pirate droid. Hopefully they can make him forget that bit of memory. I do like him.

Ranking of "STAR WARS: SKELETON CREW" (2024) Episodes
Below is my ranking of the episodes from the Disney Plus/Lucasfilm streaming series, "STAR WARS: SKELETON CREW". Created by Jon Watts and Christopher Ford, the series starred Ravi Cabot-Conyers, Ryan Kiera Armstrong, Kyriana Kratter, Robert Timothy Smith and Jude Law:
RANKING OF "STAR WARS: SKELETON CREW" (2024) EPISODES
(1.05) "You Have a Lot to Learn About Pirates" - The four lost young heroes from At Attim - Wim, Fern, KB and Neel - and their dubious guide, Jod Na Nawood, arrive at the luxury planet Lanupa in search of famed pirate Tak Rennod's former base and the coordinates back to the kids' home planet.
2. (1.03) "Very Interesting as an Astrogation Problem" - After meeting the kids in the previous episode, Jod offers to help them escape from the brig at a pirates outpost; and serve as a guide and protector in their search for the coordinates home.
3. (1.06) "Zero Friends Again" - Following their escape from their treacherous guide, the kids have a fallout before separating into two groups. Wim and KB follow a group of seemingly benevolent trash crabs in hopes the latter will lead to more help. Fern and Neel attempt to ascend a mountain in order to recover their ship, the Oxyn Cinder. And Jod finds himself captured by his former pirates crew.
4. (1.08) "The Real Good Guys" - In the finale, the kids and their parents deal with the onslaught of invading pirates, who are after the mint inside the planet's vaults.
5. (1.01) "This Could Be a Real Adventure" - In the series premiere; Wim, Neel, Fern and KB stumble across what the former believes is a Jedi temple. The latter turns out to be a long-abandoned starship that conveys the kids away from At Attim after Wim accidentally activates it.
6. (1.06) "Can't Say I Remember No At Attin" - Jod and the kids arrive on the war-ravaged planet, At Achrann, that bears some similarities to At Attin. The crew finds themselves in the midst of a feud between two factions.
7. (1.07) "We're Gonna Be in So Much Trouble" - The kids finally arrive at At Attim, only to find themselves captured again by pirates, now bent upon getting their hands on the planet's mint.
8. (1.02) "Way, Way Out Past the Barrier" - Thanks to the starship's aging droid, SM-33, the kids find themselves on an outpost for pirates. After being imprisoned inside the outpost's brig, they meet the mysterious Jod, who offers to help the kids escape in return for allowing him to join them.

The Mystery of At Attin - Part III - Star Wars: Skeleton Crew Theory
youtube
"Four children end up on an adventure to make their way home after being lost in the galaxy following a discovery they make on their home planet." Their home world, At Attin, is a mystery. Few know of it and those that do consider it a mystery. Plus there is no space travel at all to and from At Attin. In This video I adopt my theory on what the mystery of At Attin is based on new clues given in Star Wars: Skeleton Crew Episode 4: Can't Say I Remember No At Attin

Star Wars Skeleton Crew - You Have A Lot To Learn About Pirates Thoughts
"Here's what you do. Forget 'em. Your fears, your anxieties, your parents. They're what you call 'attachments,' and they're the last thing you need. Forget 'em. That's what I did." Jod Na Nawood
"I can't do that." Wim
"You have a powerful imagination. When you want to, you can see grand adventures even in a rotten galaxy like this." Jod Na Nawood
"Yeah." Wim
"Remember. Your focus determines your reality. You have vision. Embrace it. Make your life the one you wanna live." Jod Na Nawood
This is an amazing episode! The kids continue to be very endearing, even as Jod and the parents are getting more and more stressed.
I love how much of Wendle is in Wim. I also love how Fara deactivates the droids in the same way Fern did.
While Jod's view of attachments is messed up, he is right about Wim having a powerful imagination.
SM-33's reaction to Skull Ridge Mountain cracks me up. Tbh I would've been pissed off if a cool pirate location was transformed into some resort lmao. SM-33's frustration at these visiting elites and luxury tourists is so funny to see.
And of course, the Banking Clan still survives the war. It's very fitting they're here given what we learned is the actual treasure of At Attin.
Cthallops is an amazing name haha. I love Cthallops' design and character.
Those traps were pretty brutal. I wasn't also expecting some very gruesome deaths off-screen.
Jod made several high-IQ moves in this episode, although some of them aren't good for the kid at all. I do like how the challenging the Captain was played as a joke, and now it's brought back but in much more serious circumstances. Man, you really feel the kids shock at Jod’s betrayal. Also ooff Wim, he just had to hold that Lightsaber upside down.
At Attin is basically the Old Republic's Bureau of Engraving and Printing. I like how the "treasure" of At Attin is so mundane as just being one of the last Old Republic Mints. I also really love the HR design of the Lightsaber.
That ending is really chilling and a great shot.
"I have the ship, clad in armor and ready, but my crew still doubts At Attin is real. I need all hands to seize the treasure. No one knows it is the last Old Republic Mint." Tak Rennod
